We went to T-Rex Cafe on our recent vacation and it did not disappoint! When dining, you will either be seated in the dinosaur section or the ocean section. There are fish tanks in the restraunt to view and animatronics everywhere! Every 15 or so minutes, there is a meteor shower where the restraunt really comes to life. It is very cool, but can also be loud or overstimulating for some. The food was pretty good too! We ordered the cheese sticks to begin. They were super fresh and had great cheese pulls. The creole chicken and shrimp ravioli was very good and had a slight kick to it. The colosso beef nachos were a huge portion and definitely can be split between two or more people. Our waitress Oskarely checked in on us regularly and provided us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend getting a reservation before or you will have to wait. Also, look into joining the Landry's Club!
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Our server Sean was great and very attentive , he made sure to check on us with food and if we needed anything during our dinner. It’s a theme restaurant so there was lot of noise and the dinosaurs along with other fishes were a great experience for the kids and adults. We made reservation online so definitely recommend doing so as there is a huge wait for walk in. Kids enjoyed Jurassic chicken tidbits and Rocky’s pasta. We had the sampler for appetizer and burger. Food portion is great and enough to share. Kids portion would be good for one kid. Overall great experience at the T -Rex Cafe.
This was a really fun experience. Reservations are a must! No matter where you’re seated, you’ll have a great view as the entire restaurant is full of life-sized dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. The meteor shower is really cool and happens every 20 minutes or so. There’s a build-a-Dino workshop at the entrance of the restaurant, and a fossil dig outside.
T-Rex Cafe in Disney Springs is a fun and immersive experience. The atmosphere is over the top in the best way and instantly brings back memories. The food was good, the service was stellar, and the whole visit felt nostalgic, especially remembering coming here as a kid at the KC location. Since it’s located in Disney Springs, it gets very popular, especially during peak meal times, so reservations are strongly recommended. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for something entertaining and family friendly with solid food and great staff. Definitely worth the visit.
The cafe lived up to both my & my 16yo daughter's expectations! I'd even say T-rex exceeded them. Service was rather quick, very attentive, & they even invited us to explore the restaurant while we waited for our food. My kid LOVES dinosaurs & even though the animatronics were quite outdated, she enjoyed them & thought they were fabulous. The whole place was just enough, decor was thoughtfully placed, & overall made for a lovely, fun, atmospheric dining experience. (The fossil displays in the restroom were also a nice touch.) Highly recommend. 🦕🦖
This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had. Food was very good, drinks were amazing and their presentation was like in no other place. The whole interior and the show that goes on every 5-10 minutes were just so great and we were so happy to be there. Our server Millie was very attentive and nice as well. I had the Megasaurus Burger and it was really big and nice, my girlfriend had the Grain Bowl and she liked it a lot too.
A special thank you to Deb who singlehandedly provided remarkable service to our 1st grade class field trip - 25 students, 3 teachers and 4 chaperones! The food was delicious and by far the unanimous favorite part of the trip for the students. For the adults, Deb was our favorite part because she ensured we had everything we needed without even asking - condiments, drink refills, to-go containers - you name it, she thought of it.
We visited T-Rex Café at Disney Springs with our two children, and it was truly a fantastic experience — especially for kids. This is not just a restaurant, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. Every 20 minutes there is an exciting show: the animals move, the lights change, and the entire space comes alive. We were seated in the Ice Age cave, and it was absolutely magical — glowing, sparkling, and constantly changing. It really felt like being inside a special adventure rather than just having a meal. Even the waiting time was enjoyable. While we were waiting for our table, the kids were able to explore the gift shop nearby, which made the wait much easier and actually fun for them. The food did take a bit of time to arrive, but honestly, it was worth the wait. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the highlight of the evening was definitely the dessert presentation with smoke — the kids were absolutely amazed and thrilled. The ice cream was delicious and the presentation was unforgettable. While the cake itself could be improved in terms of flavor, it didn’t take away from the overall experience at all. We all truly enjoyed ourselves, and despite the small food detail, we would absolutely give this place five stars. A must-visit spot for families with children visiting Disney Springs.
MAKE RESERVATIONS! The restaurant was packed by 11:30am. Luckily we had lunch reservations. The menu is large and seems to have options for everyone. Our kids loved the dino cups! We enjoy a few appetizers for lunch. I would like to head back for a dinner at some point! The restaurant is well built, there is something to talk about on every wall, very helpful for entertaining kids! Every so often there is a "meteorite-shower" that changes the lighting in the restaurant!
Had an awesome meal at T-REX Café! I got the Chicken Fried Chicken with country gravy, red-skinned mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, and a half rack of ribs on the side — everything was delicious and super filling. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the gravy was perfect. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good! The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere even with all the fun dinosaur theming — it’s loud and lively in a good way, great for families or anyone who loves a themed experience. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely worth a visit if you’re at Disney Springs! 🦖
We attended a birthday party for a child. The children's package included a complete meal and a Build-A-Bear! Very nice restaurant to celebrate and gather with family. Good food and margaritas. The animated Dinosaurs and the decorations were awesome. The service was very good. I did expect quicker service for a birthday reservation but it took awhile for the food to come out. The prices were high in my opinion for a regular burger and fries but I understand you're paying for the experience. I would visit again.
I absolutely love this restaurant!!! I've been here many times and it is by far the most fun restaurant to visit at Disney Springs. Every so often a meteor shower goes off in the building with lights flashing and animatronic dinosaurs moving. I recommend ordering the meteor meatloaf, it's so delicious and not the most expensive item in the menu. If you go with a group of friends, be sure to order the chocolate extinction dessert! It's 4 large pieces of chocolate fudge cake (VERY dense, beware of how filling it is!) and 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream all on a really neat display. I highly encourage you to make a reservation way ahead of time if you can, otherwise they do take walk-ins. If you do a walk in on a busy day, you'll be waiting around an hour or more for your table. Put your name in at the front counter when you first arrive at Disney Springs then while you're waiting do all your shopping!
Super fun place. Entertaining for adults and kids. Lots and lots of birthday songs but it adds to the organized chaos. Loud at times but you can hear everyone at the table. I've been here many times since it opened. Now for the service- JESSE was amazing. Super personable, professional, on top of everything including refills. Not a single drink was empty for long. He made our cousin's birthday extra special.
Leonardo was awesome as our server, the restaurant was a lot of fun, and the food was as good as it looked. We were crazy late for our reservation and they still got us in within 10 minutes, which blew my mind. Thank you for helping make our first trip so good!
George was our server and I promise to you he was amazing! Suggested things for us and my son felt very special on His birthday. Food super delicious plus big portions and the cake was superb. Get ready to spend and make every cent count. So worth it we left extremely happy!!
Very nice restaurant all around. The place was very cool and the food was delicious! The price was overall pretty good compared to other Disney experiences like this one. The service was quick and our server Newman was excellent. Overall a ten out of ten! Would return!
An absolutely amazing experience, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and we got such a cool seat in the underwater section. The lights and shows that go on during the meal are very interesting and really make you feel immersed in the experience. Our server Aaron was AMAZING he was checking in with us regularly and very friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome! The food was also delicious, completely worth the trip!

Stopped in for dinner after spending the afternoon shopping at Disney Springs on the first day of our Make-A-Wish Disney vacation. The experience was amazing, my son loved it. The service was very fast and friendly. They accept all major credit cards. The entrees ranged between $24 and $44 depending on what you were hungry for. Burgers were on the cheaper end and steaks were on the higher end I had the Tar Pit Fried Shrimp which was superb. I paired it with a Caveman Punch which was delicious. My rating BEST.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ T-Rex Cafe at Disney Springs is an unforgettable experience! The dinosaur-themed atmosphere is incredible and so much fun, especially for kids. The animatronic dinosaurs, themed rooms, and meteor showers make dining feel like an adventure. The food is tasty with generous portions, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. A must-visit spot for families and anyone looking for a fun, immersive meal at Disney Springs. 🦖✨
Amazing place, all the animatronics are awesome, and service by Cole was superb. As soon as he knew we were celebrating my graduation he greeted me with a cupcake! Excellent all over. Very recommended.

I recently dined at T-Rex Café and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the chimichurri T-bone plate, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor—the chimichurri added a fresh, zesty kick that made the steak unforgettable. The highlight of the evening, however, was the outstanding service from our waiter, Cole. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure everything at our table was perfect. His professionalism and genuine hospitality truly elevated the dining experience. I also enjoyed my celebratory cupcake. I highly recommend T-Rex Café for the great food and top-notch service!

This place was awesome! My kids thought it was the coolest! The art work and every 15 minutes the lights dim and dinsosaurs make noise and move with cool effects. Usually we don’t buy the cups and what not but they were well worth it because my youngest is obsessed with dinosaurs and great quality. Menu has a little something for everyone. Reservations go quick we booked a week out and only lunch or 9:15 at night.

We had an excellent dinner here this evening. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were delicious. We also ordered the queso appetizer and it was amazing. I would definitely come back again.

The Baseline: For a sit down semi-casual restaurant is the quality of the food, existence of any unique offerings, quality of the service, and value of the overall dining experience. Food: The food is pretty decent/good and overall is not amazing but you are really coming here for experience over food. We got the nachos, Prehistoric Pasta, and the Brontosaurus burger. The nachos were big and would service a group well but are comparable to bar/casual restaurant nachos. The pasta is the same that it is comparable to what you would get at a casual restaurant but the portion size was a good size. The burger was better than average and was a double patty. The fries that came with the burger were “bag fries” but were well cooked. The drinks were really nice though even though they were not hand crafted cocktails they were tasty and fit the theme of the restaurant. Service: Considering how busy these servers are we had great service. I had to flag our server down but she was managing a bunch of tables. Good service when we came. Ambiance: This is the reason you dine at this restaurant. Animatronic dinosaurs and prehistoric mammoths. There is a Jurassic storm that happens every 15 or so minutes. The fun theme makes the experience fun. We ran into probably 7 birthday songs when we were there which is fun for the kids. It is definitely touristy but you are usually a tourist if you are at Disney Springs.
Neat dining experience for the whole family. I loved the variety on the kids menu. Definitely worth checking out if you have a Dino lover. It was not possible to get a dinner reservation a few days before, so make sure you book early.

The atmosphere is AMAZING !! Very cool decoration and once in a while the lighting changes. The service was great and efficient. Food was quick although I would recommend you make a reservation if not it might take hours. My little brother ordered tricera-sticks and it didn’t come on sticks? Not that it’s that big of a deal but just incase you have a picky child. Me and 3 other family members ordered the ceaser salad and the protein was great on all of them but there was definitely too much sauce. The taste was overpowering and none of us were able to finish. In conclusion, service and atmosphere is great but make sure to order light sauce on the salad.
We are a trip with friends and wanted to have a fun dinner out for the kids. Our server, Hanoum, was such a sweetheart and very helpful. Food was good and the kids loved the atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Megladon drink for those of age! They also had a complimentary birthday cupcake and some “embarrassment” per our server for my son, which he enjoyed. 😆
Great restaurant with great décor. The atmosphere is fun and immersive, with dinosaurs, sound effects and décor that is exciting for kids and entertaining for adults, making it a perfect spot for families. Our server Joe A. was also wonderful. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Seeing all the other good reviews, we decided to give this a try. I would say this is a place to try if you have kids just for the atmosphere. Your kids will love it here with all the dinosaurs theme item along with a store right at the entrance. As for the food, it's pretty bad. We ordered the sampler for appetizers and seafood trinity for entry to share as this was lunch. Got the dino nuggets for the kid. The sampler was decent in size but let me tell you, nothing is really good on there except for the meatballs. Everything else were pretty cold. Not want but cold. Chips were and the bread was chewy. The seafood trinity was slightly better as they were at least all warm. Crab and shrimp gratin was the best thing by far cos it was actually hot. Price was pretty crazy as well, one large appetizer, one entree, one kids meal, over 100 bucks. I get that it's a theme restaurant, overpaying for food is fine but at least be decent. Definitely a try once never again thing.
