Love the seasonal themes they do! The chicken sliders on the Halloween menu were delicious. We also enjoyed some of their non-alcoholic beverages. Only disappointment was the “host” situation. For some reason, they sat 4 large parties behind us (a 2 person party) when there were many spots available. It just didn’t make sense but the service was good.
Loved the fun vibe of the bar. Our waitress Meghan was so sweet and attentive to our needs not just serving it helped us clean up a spill. The pretzel was so tasty and the Chicken on the egg tasted like a picnic. The drinks were refreshing and not that expensive. Wonderful fun place and we will definitely be back.
I came specifically for the hot honey chicken deviled eggs 😋 had a Scottish 🥃 Professor while at it. Threw in the fried rice bites & everything was splendid. I highly recommend. Very small in the inside. I chose outside dinning always! The place sits on the water at Disney Springs so yeah it's a vibe.
What a beautiful atmosphere. If you go you definitely have to sit outside, especially when they have live entertainment going on. Our bartender was amazing and a master mixologist! Our drinks were delicious. We literally just went for drinks and an appetizer and had a nice time hanging out, and meeting people! Can't wait to go back to Florida and visit this place in Disney Springs again.
We had Ange as our server and she was outstanding! As someone who has worked in food service for many years, it’s hard to impress me and she blew me away! So attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and was so fun! She really leaned into the theme and made me feel like I was really hanging at Jock Lindsey’s place! She was personable, fun, knowledgeable and fast! She really made our dinner spectacular. If you’re in Disney springs and thinking of trying this restaurant- ask for Ange! Oh! And try all the Halloween specials- they were delicious! 10/10 date night :)
Wow what a fun experience. They have the most amazing and delicious Halloween menu ever. I do not drink alcohol and neither does my family so we were slightly dissapointed that the food menu was not larger. But it is a bar and we were not completely aware and did not research prior to going. But it did not matter because the food was beyond delicious and fun! The bar is decorated amazingly with fun Halloween decor. It already has an airport hanger aesthetic that makes it super cool even before the Halloween decorations. The service was great, and so was the non alcoholic beverages we enjoyed. I’d definitely go again in the future for another themed menu possibly?
I thought my review would not be a positive one because I thought this would be your typical tourist trap. This was restaurant/bar is far from ordinary. We went on a busy Halloween. The food was spectacular: tasty and beyond excellent presentation. Drinks were spot on. Although the price point is high, we got the quality we paid for!
Jock Lindsey's is a wonderful underrated hidden gem at Disney Springs and a must stop for some great theming and bar food. First off, you may not realize it from the name, but it's actually an Indiana Jones themed/inspired bar, which just adds to the loveliness. There are some great props everywhere inside, and the drinks and food items are all inspired by the adventures and movies too. Spend some time looking around the place, and take a good hard look at the menu. It's a bit like a toned down version of Trader Sam's -- the only thing missing is the fun bits and gags from the staff which would make this place unbelievable. There’s also outdoor seating — it’s a boat! I wasn't expecting too much for the food, but it honestly blew me away. This is some of the best bar food I've had anywhere, let alone at a Disney park. The giant pretzel charcuterie was ridiculously good, and the bacon of doom was to die for. Make this a stop on your next Disney springs excursion and have a great time!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar – Halloween Edition The Halloween Hangar Bar vibe at Jock Lindsey’s did not disappoint! What a fun and creative seasonal menu they’ve put together. While the offerings are simple, most dishes come with a playful Halloween twist that makes the experience feel special. My family and friends waited in line for a short time, but the food was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and every plate arrived hot and flavorful. Not one person in our group had a single complaint; everything was delicious! We sampled much of the menu: The Spike Trap, Skull of the Dead Quesadillas, Queso Fundido Dip, Snakebite Bao Buns, Phantom Dumplings, Zombie Eye Bites, and Three All-Beef Sliders. My only minor critique would be the dumplings — the rice paper wrapper was a bit thick, and the “eyes” left a light stain on your lips. I simply removed it and enjoyed the dumpling itself, which was tasty. This was my second visit to Jock’s, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. I only wish I could come back for every seasonal menu change, as they truly make it a fun and flavorful experience!
The food came out quick and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very nice and answered any questions we had. We had the sliders, fries, and kids chicken fingers. Our friends had the christmas specials. The sliders were delicious, very juicy and cooked medium.. Fries came out hot and their homemade ranch was to die for. My fiancé said it was the best ranch she ever had. Would eat here again.
We came here before Halloween and had some festive drinks and appetizers. Everything was great but the deviled egg eyeballs were absolutely my favorite. If you’re looking for a good place to enjoy a drink and snack after walking around try this place out you will not be disappointed.
Came for the holiday bar and it did not disappoint!! LOVED the turkey egg rolls - if they bring them back next year I’m coming back! I didn’t love the holiday spritz drink - I thought it was too sweet and tasted like a cheap prosecco. But they have lots of other fun drinks to try, and an incredible ambiance!! Go early if you don’t want to wait in line - I went around 4:00 and only waited about 5 minutes.
The Christmas vibes brought us in, the service there was welcoming, and the drinks & food kept us there! The atmosphere was so warming—really brought holiday cheer. So grateful for our waitress (I’m so sorry I can’t remember names). She was super chill and checked in with us a few times throughout our visit. The chips and white queso was AMAZING! I also tried the Gingerbread Martini—it was delicious. We also had the meatball appetizer, WOW! I’ll definitely be back :)
The food, service, and environment was second to none! We got the lobster bisque, ribeye with blue cheese crumbles, filet with béarnaise, and bread pudding and every bite was the best we’ve had on this trip! Our server Dylan was exceptional, took great care of us, made great recommendations, and made sure my allergies were noted and taken into careful consideration! Manager Scott was great too. Overall 100/10 would recommend to anyone!!
First time here after coming so many times to Disney springs. We wanted to try something different and we were staying across the street in a hotel. The atmosphere was great, nice music, tables enjoying themselves, beautiful work happening between all the staff, everyone very attentive. Our server was very good, nice, knowledgeable and is definitely part why our experience was amazing. Unfortunately it was weeks ago, I dont remember his name. Food was good, tasty, portions are great for the price, and filling. For starters: - pimento cheese and salsa w/ tortilla chips 7/10..Pimento cheese needed flavor, salsa was very very good - lobster bisque 10/10 my wife loved it - Complimentary sticky bread n butter 20/10 nice soft warm bread, with seemed like brushed honey on top YUM - Oyster 1/2 dozen 10/10 Tasted fresh, cold, briny and even my non eating oyster wife enjoyed 2 Mains n Sides - Ny strip n Frites w/ roasted garlic butter, roasted garlic cloves 10/10 We ordered a steak for both, sliced and it was cooked to perfect medium, fries nice and made in house, the garlic adds so much depth to the dish. - Mac n cheese 8/10 large portion for the price, creamy-cheesy-warm-nice bite on the pasta, it what I enjoyed the most Drinks - We had drinks from the bar outside and then on the restaurant. They were both very good, even the dessert coffee cocktails they have. Dessert - We did not get any, BUT we did see the portions on other tables and how amazing they looked, dont skip it. Overrall it was a great experience, very filling. We had other restaurants in mind to go, but we didn’t regret coming here. Our server was a male, that had been working over there for a while now. As a chef i was curious about how the operation ran and how many employees they had on shift cause it was impressive how many people are coming in/out the kitchen, how the food is coming, how many managers are around. He did say that the food is prepared in house, and they do not believe in freezing. Ps. If you get raw oysters, i recommend to get some of the roasted garlic butter or the roasted garlic cloves, it was a power move while eating the steak. We loved it, it was a dinner that we kinda are anticipating to go back too anytime soon.
We had a fantastic brunch/lunch experience at The Boathouse in Disney Springs. The standout dish was the Biscoff Cookie Waffle—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. It’s a must-order if you’re in the mood for something indulgent.Great choice of drinks including local beers. Our server, Leslie, made the experience even better with friendly, attentive service and great recommendations. The atmosphere, food quality, and service all came together for an enjoyable and relaxing meal. Highly recommend stopping by for brunch or lunch while at Disney Springs.
Omg My Husband and I ate at The Boathouse for our first time and it was INCREDIBLE thanks to Marcus. He gave us a true Candlelight dinner and made the most delicious suggestions to us. Their Lobster Bisque was EXQUISITE Just as Marcus told us it was. And the Coconut Shimp were HUGE, these weren't no Shrimp these were Prawns and Beyond anything called Coconut Shimp that I had in the past these need a Completely different name they are that good and the perfect dipping sauce. My husband had the Shrimp Boil and it was everything Southern that dish is ment to be. Bright and Fresh Corn on the Cob, perfect little Red Potatoes and again these Huge chunks of Sausage and Shimps it was big enough we could have shared it. And the Honey Cinnamon Butter Rolls were super soft and melt in your mouth good. Anyone looking for a beautiful restaurant for a family or comfortable but elegant date night Go See Marcus at The Boathouse and have him set you up for an incredible meal too. -Dani M
Great team and food! Drinks: vodka dirty martini (perfect) and Decoy Merlot (great value). Food: 1/2 dozen oysters (fresh horseradish!), wedge salad, ribeye (perfectly cooked medium rare) - Gibson’s restaurant so no surprise there. Yazmin was our waitress and was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in at all the appropriate times. The bus team never let our waters drop a third or the way or glasses/dishes went empty, and the manager, Melanie even stopped by to check on us. Great experience and would recommend to friends in Orlando!
Another nice lunch on Jan 3. Macy is quite a nice server - genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive. The pipette pasta and the cedar planked salmon were excellent. Also enjoyed generous sides of Mac & cheese as well as baked sweet potato. The broccoli and carrots (with salmon entree) were too difficult to cut with knife so they were left on the plate as the sides were more than ample. We enjoyed a very nice lunch on Dec 18, and Paola and the accomplished team took good care of us. Our table was on the patio with a lake view. The grilled grouper and cedar planked salmon entrees were masterfully prepared and quite delicious. The immense key lime pie dessert was delightful and could easily satisfy a family of four. The Boathouse is a very large waterfront restaurant, part of the Gibsons group, with an extensive menu, consistently outstanding kitchen, very capable management and a cheerful atmosphere and playlist. This location also includes an enjoyable mini boat (car) launch and a charming shop offering a variety of tempting items. Overall, this is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere.
Had a reservation for 9:15 pm, but they were able to accommodate us 45 minutes sooner if we sat outside. We didn't mind, as that morning we had flown out of a snow storm. From the raw bar we got a stone crab claw ($37) and a Cortez shrimp ($5) The shrimp was fresh and sweet, and the stone crab claw was excellent and well worth it. We ordered the lobster bisque ($9) which was unfortunately tasted premade and more tomato than lobster. For the mains we had the boneless ribeye 14 oz. ($63) and a Maine lobster tail ($39.50). The lobster tail was also very fresh, a good size and full of meat. The steak had an excellent char and was a perfect medium rare. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which I thought was good but lacked some flavor. I do prefer my mac and cheese more saucy and it was kind of dry, so perhaps that's more of my preference as opposed to the restaurant. Overall, a fantastic meal at The Boathouse, and a usual repeat on my Disney trips. It is still the best sit-down restaurant in the Springs.
The Boathouse, located in Disney Springs, is a beautiful boat-themed restaurant known for the waterfront view and fresh seafood. They have very popular meals including steaks, oysters, shrimp, and lobster rolls. The bar areas stay busy. Many people dress up to dine here, and you’ll see a lot of multi generational families enjoying cosy meals together. Even though Boathouse seats a lot of people, I would strongly advise getting reservations, which can be made on the Disney App. Sitting outside, you can watch the Dream Boats/Amphicars slip into the water and motor around the lake. They offer live music, including a sing-along brunch on the weekends. I found that to be too loud for my taste- so loud and distracting that we had a had time conversing. I prefer no music in this busy restaurant. Their starter rolls are excellent and a family favorite. Their salads are very reasonable if you’re looking for a less expensive option with the same view. Bathrooms are boujee and very clean. Be sure to stop in their gift shop on your way out. We have loved Boathouse since it opened!
Seth, our server was great. He was very welcoming and professional. There were six of us, including two children sitting in the corner outsides. Seth suggested we keep the wind shield since it could be windy. It was fine until the table next-door asked for those to be opened. Unfortunately, it blew our napkins and actually some of my drinks over and spilled onto the table. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening with a great view. The lucky duxs oysters were great as well as the tile fish and the salmon. The kids enjoyed the macaroni and cheese places are high but they are anywhere. Oysters were $4.50 each we would come again because of the excellent service and few points.
Hailey was an amazing server. Super attentive, sweet, and gave great recommendations. We drink a duck duck razz, watermelon margarita, and a coconut mojito. We ate a Cesar salad, filet mignon sliders, and a Cesar salad. Can’t recommend this place enough! Plus they do an annual pass holder discount.
The Boathouse is a large, busy restaurant on the water in Disney Springs. Having heard good things, we bussed over from our resort. We were seated a few minutes before our 7pm reservation, and our server Santos took exceptional care of us the whole night. We had salads, seafood entrees and bread pudding for dessert, along with some cocktails and beer. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is "lively" (loud) for sure, as expected dining among happy vacationers. Diners dress a bit nicer than at most WDW restaurants, but there were still dudes in ball caps. Recommended dining if you want to get away from the resorts/parks. The gift shop has a lot of cool stuff, too.
Where do I even start?! Well first off, our waiter Ryan was AH-MAZING! He was attentive, kind and possibly the best waiter I’ve ever had. The food was chefs kiss! Literally everything, from the rolls to the firecracker shrimp… outstanding. I highly recommend the cauliflower steak, asparagus, baked sweet potato and NY strip. You can’t go wrong here honestly.
Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Service was excellent and worth every penny we paid for the meal. Steak was cooked to perfection. Sharing sides are HUGE!! And the chocolate cake. OMG the chocolate cake ❤️ Only negatives is it was LOUD inside the restaurant and despite booking a table we still had to wait for it to be ready, though not for long)
One of the best meals I’ve ever had ! The seared tuna , unbelievable please try it I was skeptical as I’m not a huge raw fish fan but I’m converted, so soft and tender. My partner had the burger and she said it was amazing (they have won awarded for the beef) shrimp starter too was amazing. Our server Hunter !!!! Superb, very helpful and cheerful, made sure everything was good for us the whole time ! Book well in advance you will not be disappointed ! We liked the vintage boats out the back too ! Hidden away but worth the small walk Those bread roll given to the table too , wow 🤩 Thank you
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is a fun place to visit for a drink and snacks in Disney Springs! The food is great and so much fun. It is themed just as well and the bar itself. Everything we ordered came out in some ridiculous vehicle or cage! The drinks were great also. We were not able to find a space inside, so sat on the patio. It was quiet out there and on the water, but not as themed or as much fun. I felt like our server kept forgetting about us out there. But overall it was a good experience, and I would go back to try some more fun food and drinks!
During a long day at Disney Springs, we got super lucky and found a walk-in seat at Jock Lindsey's. We got in out of the heat for some cool drinks and some light bites. The ambiance in there is always fun. You're eating inside of an eclectic airplane hangar. The stuff of the best days of Disney's restaurant theming that you just don't see anymore. Service was great. We had a guy who was very eager to please us and give us drinks. He was super friendly and made pleasant conversation with us based on his observations of our stuff. This guy was a pro. As for the food, we got a couple of items to share. Jumbo Chicken Wings. These were nice. I like the new trend of putting toppings on chicken wings that seems to be going around. Loved the combination of finely diced jalapenos with finely diced pineapples. And there were a few probably red jalapenos on there, too, for those looking for a nice kick. Fun dish. Shrimp Fried Rice Bites (with Shishito Peppers and Sweet-and-Sour Sauce). These were laughably terrible. First of all, the little fritters had the shrimp tale still inside of them, presenting a chewing hazard. And those were not shishito peppers. And that was not a sweet-and-sour sauce. It was just a big mess. Do not order this. Other those those awful little things, this was a really nice experience in a really nice little building. I'd come back.
Stopped into Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar to kick off our night at Disney Springs. The drinks were really good — we had the hot chocolate flight, a gingerbread martini, and two mules, and everything was well-made and flavorful. Service was okay — nothing bad, just not standout. Overall, it was a really good stop with a fun atmosphere and a solid place to grab drinks before heading out for the rest of the night.
Good sit down lunch option at Disney Springs. The service was great especially when it came to the various allergies of our party. They have someone on staff specifically overseeing allergy management. For lunch I had the grilled chicken with broccoli and carrots, sauce on the side, and thought that it was pretty good. My husband was mid on the filet sliders but my friends enjoyed the club sandwich and the firecracker shrimp. This was a very large restaurant but I would still recommend that you make a reservation if you don’t want a significant wait.
The perfect Sunday brunch spot - especially for me who has a sweettooth! Came here for Sunday brunch. We heard great things so we wanted to try it for ourselves. Our reservation was for 10am. It was quiet when we got there and we're seated outside on the dock. It was a nice and peaceful environment to enjoy some breakfast. But by the time we left around 11am, it was much busier with crowds of families and children. Our server, Carlos, was a delight - very outgoing, knowledgeable, personable, and did a great job of making us feel welcome and well taken care of. We started our meal with the parker house rolls with butter. The server told us they were already glazed in a cinnamon glaze, but I had to ask for a side of the cinnamon butter and what a smart decision! Ooo it was absolutely delicious and a must get. For the main, I continued my sweet journey with the Biscoff Cookie Waffles. It was the perfect amount of sweetness with just a subtle hint of the cookie butter flavoring without being overpowering. Paired with the chantilly cream, it was bliss! I will absolutely be coming back for weekend brunch at The Boathouse when we are back in the area - a true delight!
A pleasant and modern restaurant located in Disney Springs. Our server was polite and helpful, drinks were quick to arrive as was the food. The bread they serve first is insanely good as well. I went for the burger, purely because of a personal issue with foreign seafood. However I am informed seafood is of high quality and tasted excellent. My burger was very tasty and I very much enjoyed the melted cheese. 10/10
Mediocre food presented in an entertaining way inside a fun and lively environment. Service left a lot to be desired. Anytime I said thank you, which was every time something as delivered tapas style, the server ignored me and walked off quietly. When I went to the bar to ask if they by chance had toothpicks, which I didn’t necessarily expect them to have, the question got a flat “no” with eyeless disdain. Left a 15% tip for substandard service.
Good food and drinks. Not inexpensive. Service was great. Cocktails are pricey. The floating bar area is really nice and the staff were all fun and very courteous. We had a reservation but were not seated right away. I also noted in my reservation it was my husband’s birthday and no special addition was added not even a mention. They also sat us outside by someone who was cleaning up seaweed and it was annoying while eating dinner. Food was good. Smaller portions but good. Although the cocktails were pricey they were also good. Calamari and espresso martinis were great. Bread service is also a treat.
It’s a cool spot, and the food and drinks are great, but had a bad experience with the staff. If it were any other bar I wouldn’t be surprised but it’s Disney. I met my wife there, she was at the bar so we asked if we could move to a table. The bartender seemed upset by the request and asked if we wanted to cash out. We were going to have more drinks so we said we’d prefer not to, the bar tender sounded exasperated and said it was fine. If it wasn’t I understand and I could have continued to stand or we could have closed the tab if that was easier. So we moved seats and the waitress then said we would have to go back to the bar. My wife was told it was open seating and the time was around 5:50-6 so if they were switching to dinner I understand. But the interaction felt rude and it felt like we weren’t welcome. Again if it were anywhere else I wouldn’t make a big deal, but the experience was anything but magical. Drinks and food were good though, and when we’d been there before it’s been great. Maybe it was a long day
Our party of two visited on a Tuesday night and it was just after 6:30 when we were called to our table. The drink list is a bit shallow as the typical espresso martini was out of reach. We each ordered an old fashioned. Aside from the Knob’s Creek single barrel bourbon, the other ingredients (including the piece of orange fruit) and the novelty tilted glass it was served in, made it a bit harsh for me. Our quick bites included a turkey egg roll -which was nice and crispy but seemed to be double fried, which brought the oil content above the taste of the turkey itself. I ordered “A wreath of Wellington”. While the initial presentation was appealing -under its glass dome, it was a fleeting moment. While the pastry dough was well done, the meat was without seasoning and had an unknown taste and a “heavy texture”. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed a bit frustrated and did not present as welcoming. I personally will be forced to find another hanger in the area - the next time I fly in.
the halloween decor was so cute so my friends and i decided to stop by and check it out since i love halloween and this was my first ever trip to disney. We were sat pretty quickly and given water fairly fast as well but then we were not tended to for 30-45 minutes after we had placed our -drinks only- order. Meanwhile tables sat after us for food, drinks, actively checked on multiple times while we were just waiting. Eventually we had to flag down our sever 2-3 times in order to get her attention and finally tell them to just cancel our order as it was getting extremely late and we needed to go back to our hotel. The sever didn’t even apologize for the wait and seemed extremely annoyed with us despite only interacting with us maybe 2 times our entire time there… Pretty upset about that.
I’ve only had pretty positive experiences up until now. We sat down at 1130am, we ordered drinks. The drinks came out pretty quickly. We had to flag down our server 20 minutes later because she did not come back to our table to take our order for food or to even check on us. We ordered 4 appetizers. We got one of our appetizers after a bit and scarfed it down as we were hungry. We waited and waited, other tables came and left. They received their food which was the same as ours, our server did not stop by at all. After being there just over an hour I went up to the bar to ask for the check and told them what happened. The manager came over with the check and asked us what appetizers we needed taken off of our check. No offer of compensation or a discount. After being there an hour and 15 minutes we paid full price for our drinks and one appetizer (the only one we received). Thank goodness we were at Disney springs and there were plenty of other food options for our lunch. Honestly it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had at Hangar Bar. Our server’s name was Oumaima, in case you get her (if you do, don’t expect good service).
