It's rare that I rate all 5 🌟 but yeah, I feel I need to this time. Lindy, was a great host, always checked up on us, my baby boy, Stanley, really loved her. I've tried their soups before and they're all pretty damn good (FYI soups are not always the same so I sometimes call in to see what's the soup of the day is) I've tired about 3 or 4 soups (Roasted Carrot, Ruben comes with grilled onions and chunks of meat just like a ruben sandwhich, and a chicken one that I can remember the name of.) I didn't use to be a fan of their burger but I've recently tried them and their pretty good along with their appetizers 👌. Your food is also hot! I will say, it can be a bit pricey but as long as the food is good, I'll pay. 😆

Well I work here so I am biased, BUT having lived in the valley all my life, it's hard to find good places to eat. I cook here because I enjoy eating the food here more than any other place. The atmosphere is "road worthy" quite literally as there are fun license plates and road signs adorning the walls. The smoked meats are mouth watering good! The drinks are always balanced and the bartenders and servers are always friendly and on it. I took some time off for medical reasons and on my first day back I had to cook myself some food right away because I missed it, so! On my days off, I miss my daily sandwiches so much. Make sure to get the Pilgrim sandwich while it's here for the limited time during the holidays! It was the first thing I ate when returning. Smoked turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce on a nice fat hoagie roll. So good! Also, the soups! SO GOOD!

I placed my order online through Toast, went smoothly! Going into 178 Bar and Grill I was greeted by the friendly and attentive lady working the bar, whom had my order all together and ready to go! Great service and very timely. Once able to sit down with my meal, the care given to completing my order was noticed right away. Everything done perfectly and to order precisely! The food was amazing and flavorful, thank you Cindy for the wonderful service! And, the lady working the front!

Ask for the specials! Stopped in for a late lunch and it was absolutely fabulous. Prime rib right off the grill. Perfectly Smokey and seriously delicious. Specials: they also had lobster, steak, and salmon off the grill 💯 You have to get the sweet potato fries. So crispy and homey.

Absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious. Every last bite was amazing. The smoked brisket and chicken was literally the best I've ever had. Jeff stationed at the smoker was phenomenal. The bartender lady was amazing 👏 You've got to eat here when visiting in the area. The atmosphere outside was kid and dog friendly we had a blast!

Amazing. Tuesday night so it wasn't at all busy. Donna served us our very delicious margaritas. My friend had crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings and I had the turkey and bacon club with fries. It was all very good. Donna was awesome.

Ate here for the first time. Everything from the service, to food and drinks were all excellent. We had few edits to our menu choices which were all handled with perfection. Definitely recommend the sweet and spicy wings. Will definitely return in the future.! ❤️

This place is small but has huge personality. The place has the small town charm for sure. The food is better than most in this town, but come when Jenn is working she's the best! Thanks everyone for a warm welcome! Highly recommended!

We went in to the 178 Bar & Grill today to have a beverage and an appetizer, and we ordered sandwiches to go. Our service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Ordered 178 burger, it was delicious. But, I ordered medium and when I got it home it was definitely rare. Patty could use a little seasoning, but otherwise very good! Their onion rings are great, and didn't get soggy during the ride home. This place is very good!

Good food. Great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Update 05/26/2025: Great meal and atmosphere as always. Service has been excellent in the past too. Absolutely horrible service from Lindy. Never refilled drinks, took and/or served order incorrectly, took 20 minutes to get the bill.

5/25/25 3:00 pm. Stopped in here to get a bite to eat and have some drinks. Ordered a bucket of beers and food. The original waitress we had was nice and attentive but as soon as we got our food she asked us to tab out with her, assuming due to shift change. We paid our tab and continued eating our food, even though it was a bit disruptive to our meal…she could have waited. The new bartender NEVER once asked us if we were ok or needed anything else, even tho the guy sitting close to us was taken care of and was asked several times if he needed anything. We had planned to have another bucket but because she totally ignored us we gladly left and went somewhere else to have some more drinks!!! We would have tipped her, had she acknowledged us but that wasn’t in her focus!! We weren’t in her focus as customers in this establishment. Sad!!

Went with a group of fellow employees - about 15 of us on a Sunday afternoon - to have dinner scheduled at 3pm. Our orders were taken by 3:20 pm but it took 40 minutes to get the orders out - I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries. The French fries were barely above room temp - the sandwich warm. Unfortunately our serve person waited until we were almost finished eating to check back at the table and ask if everything was fine. I said no and complained about the fries and they did offer to bring out hot ones, but I declined - because I had already finished the rest of my meal - the sandwich only. I guess what you are supposed to do - if the wait person doesn't come back out - you should get up from the table and walk back to the kitchen and tell them? I didn't feel like doing that because I didn't want to bring that much attention to the fact that my food wasn't what I expected. If someone can tell me how long I should wait if the wait person does not return within say, 5 minutes after the food is served to check on things. In all fairness maybe this isn't really the place to go for what I expected - which was sizzling hot fries. Other people In my group did like their food - salads and other foods normally served cold - but they will have to leave their own review. What I got served was food that was cooked and then sat for 20 minutes before brought to the table. A soggy bun soaked with barbecue sauce. I'm from Kansas City and I know it wouldn't compare to that - but I was expecting the food to be hot.
