Stopped in for lunch yesterday. This location was very busy and even being that busy the staff welcomed me and the customers after me. They seemed to handle the steady flow of hungry customers quite quickly and efficiently. They were polite and were patient with me as I continued to add the veggies and sauces and seasonings to my masterpiece of deliciousness. I enjoy Subway, and it's due to experiences like this that I keep on indulging at the home of the footlong Subway club toasted add 2x bacon Yummy for the tum tums.

Updated review: after at least a dozen times eating at this Subway, it's by far the best service I could ask for. The food is always fresh and delicious. The energy and enthusiasm shown by one of the staff here was off the charts! Good quality ingredients too!

I visited this Subway location today, and Vanessa helped me with my order. She was extremely sweet, patient, and understanding! Her kindness truly stood out, and I made sure to leave a tip to show my appreciation for her hard work. I’ve been to this location before, but I’ve never experienced such thoughtful service. I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves because it’s clear she puts in a lot of effort. Thank you, Vanessa!

I had placed an order online for two sandwiches at the subway off of plantation, It was paid for, confirmed, and ready. I went to pick up the sandwiches and after waiting for some more time, I was finally told that they could not fulfill my order because they did not have any meat cut, bread ready, nothing prepped. Pretty much nothing was done by the employee that had been there and it’s 4:15 pm. Another employee showed up and they were all frantic and complaining that they don’t get paid enough and one has two jobs, griping about customers, and etc. There were other online orders that were confirmed knowing they did not have anything prepped. One of the ladies touched all of the meat with NO GLOVES, including the chicken. I asked if they could just give me a refund since they could not fulfill my order, it’s fine, but what got me was that they did not know how to give me a refund. Subway off of plantation needs to get it together they have had many issues for months. I decided to go over to the subway off of oyster creek dr and see if they had any knowledge of how to get a refund maybe they could even make my sandwiches for me. I spoke with Virginia there and told her a little of what happened at the subway off of plantation and she offered, without me even mentioning it, to fulfill my order. So here is where I would like to brag about Virginia. Virginia was very nice, knowledgeable, and just plain awesome, even gave us free cookies. She was out of lettuce but offered to substitute baby spinach instead and it was so delicious! If anyone deserves a raise it would be Virginia, thanks girl, you rock!

Great Tuna Sandwich. It has been a while since I treated myself out. Nothing like being and doing what you want when U want. Thanks Mrs, Genie Lone Ranger making a run 4 Jesse James. It is on Like Donkey Kong.
Food was good. For some reason this location doesn't have black olives as the other Subway locations do. Service was adequate but not as eager to serve the customers as one would have liked but it was still ok. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Clean restaurant as well

Food is great as always but the two ladies working today were arguing back and forth with each other which made me as a customer feel like I was in the middle of it and very uncomfortable. They were kind to the customers but just not to each other.
Like a lot of other people here, I have similar complaints. They always seem to be out of ingredients, they tend to be slow and have a rotating staff of new people. I placed an order online, waited twenty minutes till it said it was ready, then I get there and they tell me they were *just* about to call me to tell me they are out of steak and I had to choose something else. Why did it say my food was ready if it wasn't? Not a terrible place, and they make the sandwiches as good as any other subway.
The food quality has decreased. Four small tomato slices. Lettuce placed one inch from the end of the bun. No olives. Way too much mustard. Too much cheese. Won't be eating here again.
The food was good, but there were two reasons I did not give a higher rating. The first was that the girl making our sandwiches seemed brand new, and no one helped her. We were the only ones in the store, but the preparation time was inordinately long. The second reason was probably not the fault of Subway, but the parking lot in front of the store was TRASHY!!! Subway and Walgreens need to complain to whoever handles the parking lot. Thankfully, the interior of Subway was spotless!
Patti informed us that it's their policy NOT to add more than two extra meats to our wrap, even if we pay for it. We paid for meat, but they refused to add it. She was quick to give me her supervisors info, but I feel it is best to give a review instead
Ordered 4 subs through the app and they waited until I arrived to pick up my order to tell me they only had enough ingredients to make 1 of the sandwiches.
Was at this location today when I was telling Delma what I would like on my sandwich. She messes up and puts the wrong thing. I didn't say anything, she didn't apologize either, she went ahead and restarted making my sandwich but what I later found out from a coworker was that she called me a "pendeja" to her coworker. I know for a fact I was not rude to her and didn't say anything offensive to her, but for her to say that is just uncalled for. Definitely won't be back next time I'm in town.
What happened to this location? Everything used to be great here...but today we ordered 3 subs on the app and picked up. Old, dry bread...out of Tuna, Provolone and Black Olives and then they loaded up tomatoes on one sub that wasn't supposed to have any at all. And both of our #11s were very skimped on with the meat. Seems maybe they didn't wanna run out of those too. I hate to leave bad FB but this is the 2nd time we've gotten super dry bread that's so bad it crumbles when you try to handle it. I gave 2 stars because a girl did call to let me know they were out of the Tuna.
I am once again super disappointed from yet another Subway. Why do all Subways seem to run out of the best bead ever?!?! In my case, the Italian herbs are cheese... So anyways... I ordered from the app.... step 1 mistake... I ordered it for 4:30 pm... I get there, and she tells me that they are out of the Italian Herb and cheese... but it was cooking and I said that's fine... I will come back after my shopping theat I was going to do after... when I got back, they had the bread, and I was happy about that... but then we went to make the sandwiches I ordered 2 hours ago... and they didn't have the Teriyaki chicken I ordered... no big deal as the had rotisserie chicken I decided would work... then their lettuce was looking a little browning... they barely had any spinach... the onions looked like the skins and ends... and the cucumbers looked like they were frozen 😐 I made something work but then we get to the other sandwiche and they didn't have turkey 😫 this isn't the 1st subway to do this to me and I'm not sure I can take it anymore. Also... I'm not sure if this is a hard thing to concept... but I also had asked for all my things for one of my sandwiches to be separate as I wanted to have it the next day... and she seemed so confused about how to do this... 🤦🏼♀️ I am glad that experience was over, lol Tho, the girls were super nice... too bad they weren't set up for success.
On 5/23/25 at 5:45 we can and we're treated kind of rude by 1 of 2 workers. Other one very nice and sweet. After we sat to eat a older soft spoken lady came in and the on that was rude to us, was very rude to this older lady "give me a second I'll be right which you" playing on phone while talking. Then repeatedly said "huh" to the lady and then said "I'm not doing this" walked away and had the sweeter lady take over. Absolutely not a acceptable way to act or speak especially to a sweet and such soft spoken older lady. Young one did a amazing job. There were no name tags but older worker that was rude has black hair and tattoos on arm. For management to hopefully see this and take action

Apparently you are not allowed to have cooked bacon on your sandwich in Lake Jackson. I called the store few minutes after I ordered online to make sure they cooked the bacon. Because yes you have to tell them that now. Started this year I guess because they stopped cooking bacon and not just that. If you order a chicken bacon ranch melt at the Plantation location you don't get that cooked either online. So I decided to try the oyster creek location and I called to make sure they cooked the bacon before I got there and the employees said it's already wrapped up and asked if I wanted to talk to the manager, I said sure if you can't open it. I guess I'll do a refund and write it in the instructions. The manager got on the phone and said she couldn't open it either. Nobody but them have touched the sandwich. But i guess if they have policies I'll have to do a refund and replace my order. Manager told me either way you've made us waist food. I shouldn't even be having to ask you to cook bacon. She then said well some people don't eat it cooked. Couldn't image that being the case honestly. So she sound like she was going to have issues with me wanting bacon or having it remade so I just settled on getting a refund and getting a receipt. Welllll... she didn't want to do that either. I ended up getting the district managers email because that's all she was willing to give me. So I hung up and went in to be sure I got my refund and receipt and she tried to say their's no way for her to do that and said I'd have to take that up with her boss. I told her it's the law. And she push a few buttons and I got a void receipt. And I walked out to the car and placed an order at the plantation location and wrote in the instruction to "cook the bacon on both sandwiches". On the way there talked to corporate about it and she was nice, informative and agreed the bacon and chicken bacon ranch melt should be cooked. I shouldn't have to ask. She couldn't do anything about anything else. So I go in the plantation location and I opened my sandwich on the table next to the contactless pick rack. And guess what.... they didn't cook the bacon, even with instructions to cook bacon on both sandwiches. So I was upset and told them to remake my sandwiches while people were waiting. She tried to tell me the same thing about how some don't like it cooked. THE INSTRUCTION TELL YOU TO COOK THE BACON. My goodness what does a person got to do get cooked bacon. Have to get ugly is apparently the only way to get your order the way you want it, which was the way it is intended.

Literally show up at 9:40. They dont close till 10. But doors are locked and they refused to even come to the door or serve us. Guy behind the counter shook his head and made a motion and lipped "we're cleaning" like no.. if you're gonna close at 9:40 that needs to be the time, not 10.
Accidentally placed an order at the wrong location via my app. The app tells you to cancel you HAVE TO CONTACT THE STORE. I tried to call and Cancel the order and the woman on the phone was rude and told me no I couldn’t get a refund and cancel my order. I went in to the store to cancel the order and again was told no I could not cancel the order even though the order HAD NOT BEEN PREPPED YET! I’m waiting for a call back from corporate.
There was only one guy working and 2 people in front of me and he is the most unfriendly person I've seen. He had long scraggly hair and a beard with no net . Nasty looking. He never even spoke one word to me. A girl finally came out of back and finally took my order. It took abut 20 minutes to get my food. Subway really should make them wear hair nets.
Apparently, the high turn-over of this place has caught up with their food preparation and non-caring customer service. The manager(s) like to hide out in the back even when there is a line waiting and the employees care less how your sandwich is made. I watched the employee make his sandwich when I was waiting in line and it was perfect! Why can't they make customers sandwhiches that way? Because they don't care. A customer asked for more peppers on his foot long because Sarah put 5 on it. Then she adds 3 more after he requested it. He tried to tell her again to add more and she just wrapped it while the customer stood there and shook his head. The owner should have a secret shopper come by here and in one visit, it would become obvious what is going on. The lack of responses on here from the owner after a negative review shows how much they care. When they run off their customers and are forced to get shut down, they will still probably wonder why.
Bought 4 sandwiches, 3 different types of bread. They were all hard. The person making the sandwich had to know it was hard, but chose to sell it anyways. Terrible sandwiches.
Every time I come to this subway they never have what I want. They are out of bread, meats, veggies, every single time. And what's the point of being open till 10 and they are almost done closing the store at 8pm. Where is the management? Been out here 2 years and only able to get Italian herbs and cheese once... But there are 8 racks of wheat bread in the warmer they can throw away at the end of the night.
I've reviewed a fare amount of subways and this has to be the worse. Not outright bad but still not very friendly and outgoing employees and we've been here a few times. The other bad news is they have repeatedly had excuses why they can't or won't honor coupons that the other ones do that are not expired either. So if you're a coupon user I suggest going the other mile or so to the Subway on plantation drive. I also understand not everyone is bubbly and outgoing but at least hire happy friendly customer service oriented people. Again this is just our observation as we have frequented this location multiple times with the same result. They were at least a clean establishment.

Does the owner of the Subway in Lake Jackson on Oyster Creek Drive know that his/her employees tell customers that they only accept online orders? My son wasted the time and expense to drive there only to be told that his order would not be accepted in person, he had to order online. He left with no food.
I really don’t leave reviews and it may just be cause I wasted half my 30 min lunch and I’m hangry, but if I place a order for a sandwich at 7:00 and you know you don’t have two of the main ingredients for said sandwich, why call me 15 mins before 9pm when I was scheduled to pick up my sandwich, and why is there no option to cancel the order? If I want my money back I have to come back to the store when a manager is present? Again, maybe I’m just hangry cause it is literally just a sandwich, but I work a full time job too, and having to waste most of my ONLY break to not even get the food that I paid for is sad and I’m ngl I did cry.
Any positive reviews for this location got lucky. I’ve repeatedly had horrible experiences here. They’re ALWAYS out of multiple items, the entire store is dirty, employees are either sympathetic because they know the store is terrible and it can’t be helped, or they couldn’t care less about the terrible service, they’re just there to get paid. No in-between. You cannot receive a refund in store, you have to jump through their corporate hoops just to get your lunch money back. I genuinely hope this location gets shut down by their corporate management. Horrible location, do not go here.
This location is by far the worst location. I typically try to visit this location once a year to see if it gets better. Nope, my order when placed online is always wrong, they are out of bread, out of all ingredients or no one wants to do their job. The last in-store experience was the week of valentine's and there was one employee. She yelled for someone to come help her and the other person looked like a high-school kid. His eyes were blood shot, he slured his speech and made the order wrong. Today was an online order the person(s) who made my 2 sandwiches combined them. Instead of one turkey sandwhich and one club it was 2 sandwiches combined. Both sandwiches were club and turkey with all toppings of the turkey. The other sandwich was say way except it should have been club with 3 toppings. Thats it and turkey with all toppings. Both had different mayo. But they arrived as 2 of the same sandwiches. Never will go to this location again.

I never write reviews but this location has screwed up so many times. It is constantly out of food items, there is no way to get a refund because there is never a manager on duty, the staff is also very unfriendly. Just the management of this place is horrendous. Something needs to be done.
