I went to Crab n go today - November 12, 2021!! Without any hesitation I give this place 5 ⭐️'s. The food was delicious. I ordered sack #2 and a 6 piece chicken wing to go. I am absolutely going to do a return visit, and so should you.

Very tasty food. Food a bit overpriced, but the staff is extremely attentive and accommodating; gave us a free appetizer since we were only ones in there. Lots of Engrish on the menus and decor, very funny.

Went here after some friends in New York told us it was a spot to go to good food. Glad we went , the server was awesome ! It was not cheap but we also did order a lot of food. Left with enough food to feed four adults plus and there was only two of us. Did I say the spice and taste was unbelievable!!! Will be back.

This restaurant is hands down the best seafood spot here in Syracuse. The freshness of the seafood, coupled with their luxurious house special sauce, is the epitome of deliciousness. Additionally, the owners are amiable and respectful people! You will feel as if you are dining at your friend's house. The atmosphere is serene and intimate, which makes you get lost in time. 1000/1000 highly recommend eating here. The restaurant is the perfect place to go on a date, celebrate a birthday, have friend gatherings, and much more. I have been dining here for almost a year now.

My 1st time here to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend. They def created the "boomerang effect" as everything was indeed excellent! The server even brought out a piece of cake & and ice cream to celebrate for her. How thoughtful.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! We have been twice now and both times the food has been incredible and the owners and staff are even more remarkable. The food is hot, fresh, and the house sauce is out of this world! This is a hidden gem in the area and I can’t wait to keep going back. 10/10 highly recommend checking it out! This place has some of the best seafood in or around Syracuse! The snow crab tasted so fresh and the seasonings (we had the cajun) were top notch! The restaurant itself was clean and the staff were super friendly. The price was beyond reasonable for the amount and quality of the food we had. The whole experience is lovely and we’ll be coming back soon to try more of the delicious menu. Seriously a hidden gem that more people should come check out.

Food was amazing but what really made the experience special was the staff. They were so polite and friendly! They set up a little birthday corner for our daughter and a special birthday drink on the house as well! Will definitely be back again and again for years to come!

My wife and I were looking for something to do for our anniversary dinner. Saw this and seen the reviews and thought what the heck. We were not disappointed. The service was fantastic!!! Friday special is definitely worth the price! If you love seafood- lobster tail, shrimp, snow crab legs ( although a bit tiny), try it! I'm a spicy type of gal, so when choosing your flavor if you're in between go with the mild spicy option! It's a pretty small space, but it seems like you're no longer there for more than an hour or so, so waiting for a lengthy period of time isn't a huge issue from my experience.

First time at this restaurant.. we walked in and were immediately greeted by an enthusiastic young woman. She patiently led us through the ordering process, and gave her opinions on where we should start. She was 100% correct on all her suggestions. We had the number #3.. lobster tail, shrimp and crab legs. Done with baby spice and the house sauce.. The food came quick. And was very tasty. Over all a great experience. I will return

So fun and absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared the Friday special basket, adding a half pound of scallops. It comes on a hot tray with a “balloon” bag around it! Each part, the cob corn, shrimp, scallops, lobster, and crab was delicious! My mom ordered a deep fried shrimp and hush puppies. She loved it….especially the house sauce! Reasonably priced for this type of meal. When we pass through Liverpool, we’ll definitely be back!

Crab was awesome and taste. I had a 25 minute drive home and was still gery warm when got home. The Cajun and garlic sauces are good, and have to try out the house sauce next time. If they could make some cheesy bread this place would shutdown red lobster. The front of the house was very nice to myself and another customer havi g lunch, and cared for the customers needs and quality of food being produced. My meal was very fast as I ordered to go in person. I'll be coming back again.

I did not eat here, but as a DoorDash driver I have a lot of experiences at different restaurants. Most restaurants seem to hate us delivery drivers, ignore us, never make eye contact, and basically make things hard for us, when all we are doing is picking up their customers food. I walked into Crab N Go today, and the experience was AMAZING. I was even offered a free drink! Quick pickup, and very friendly. A+++ and im going to come eat here too!

I live out of town and was nearby at lights on the lake. I love this place so I ordered take out. Lights on the lake took longer than expected and I ended up not arriving to get my food until after close. The owner waited for me, which she didn’t have to do and I think is incredible. Thank you very much, best boil I’ve ever had.

My daughter took me out to dinner for fathers day on 6/1/2025. This is the 2nd time we have been here. We live in Oswego which is about a 45 minutes. I/WE love this place. First, We were greeted as soon as we came in the door. The lady showed us to our seats and took our drink order right away. As soon as she brought our drinks , she took our order. Within 15 minutes or less of us walking in the door and sitting down we had our food. The food was great. The cram shrimp, and lobster tail all cooked perfect. The potatoes were fresh and cooked well. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't drive 5 miles much less 45 minutes to the place. I recommend it. And I will be going back with my daughter again.........and again.......and again. That's our special Father/Daughter dinner night.

Amazing seafood for a great price! I had the party sack seafood boil with the snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp potatoes and corn in Cajun seasoning (with baby spice though I think I could have gone up a level). The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly.

If you see people give mostly five stars to this restaurant and then someone gives two stars to the restaurant…the two star is called an outlier, as in do not pay attention to that person. This restaurant is buy large the number one seafood restaurant in the city of Syracuse ( it’s about time). If you want real seafood, fresh seafood, this is where you want to be, as opposed to some chain seafood resturants. Even more importantly is the wonderful personalities of the owners( Jane et. All). They engage with the customers, and make the customers feel so important and special that is worth it’s weight in gold. We’re giving this restaurant five stars plus !!!!! Try it and then you’ll give it five stars+.

A cute little place we decided to try today after hearing good reviews. The reviews did not disappoint. Service was quick, and food was served almost immediately, and the serves try to get you the best bang for your buck. I had the snow crab legs in the house sauce, which was delicious. I’ve tried Aloha Crab in the past and it was okay, this was definitely 10x better. The sauce is delicious and the crabs were juicy. I definitely recommend, I’ll definitely be back. 10/10

We left hella full and happy. Spice levels were great as well. Cocktails are not overly strong (for the meal). Lastly, loved that the ambience was relatively QUIET and music was the perfect level. Would definitely come again.

This place is fantastic. The waitress was friendly, funny, and fast. Made my own seafood boil bag with the Crab N Go special sauce (mix of all the others). Got a half pound each of clams, scallops, sausage, and shrimp with a side of rice. I got the medium spice which had a nice heat. Medium had a very good flavor but I like it a bit spicier. If you really like spicy, I recommend the 5-star heat. I was shocked at the price, most other similar restaurants my meal would have been $65 before tip. My total was less than $40. I thought she brought me the wrong bill at first. Well worth every penny. I plan on going back very soon.

I’m a fan of crab. Before this place I tried several other options but nothing like their snow crab with the house sauce!! Amazing flavor with a strong hit of garlic. Best boil I've had, the shellfish is cooked perfectly and the house special sauce is delicious! We got a few boiled eggs with the crab, shrimp, and sausage, and were both commenting on how good it all was in the sauce. To top it off the music playing was all songs we forgot we loved! But let them the place designing a little bit more cost and start to take the ultra white light to replace it with a bit more warm light, say 4000k or 3500k. The 6500 k light makes it very clinical.

The only complaint is our lobster baos didn't come with butter on the side as displayed in the picture! Now that that's out of the way, it was delicious!!! We were craving seafood and when we saw the price at Red lobster we just about fainted for the cost of one entree alone at Red lobster. My husband and I were able to get two lobster baos with special fries 🍟 I chose cajun and he chose sweet potato ( I had plate envy - wish I went with sweet) and a side order of hush puppies. The hush puppies were pure perfection. The food showed up extremely quick on a Saturday night and was super fresh! We will be eating there again! 🦀

It may not look like much from outside, but dont let that fool you. The food and service were top-notch. All seafood was prepared perfectly, and our waiter was very attentive. I've been to a few places like this and have had a mix of good and bad seafood, which sometimes happens, but none in our mix tonight. For the price, this was by far better than other restaurants in the area.

The wife and I have been looking for a solid seafood place. This would be the one. The lady's helping the tables with their orders are hilarious and super personable and great at helping suggest things. The food was perfect. The food and it's spices were just awesome. Scrap the gloves..keep the bib they give you because you'll need it. The prawns are massive. The mussels are massive. The corn soaks up all the flavor from the seasonings. In fact...well be going back this weekend to experience it again. Don't let the outside appearance of this place scare you. It's a gem, just well hidden

Delicious boils! Ample choices for seafood additions. Flavorful spicy... the choice below the hottest was suffice! The mild flavor tastes like hot butter. It's not too pricey for 4pl, definitely family-friendly! Have cocktails before or after visiting this establishment! I'm definitely returning when in SYR!

The food was ok. Not real butter but like margarine, butter flavored oil. My lobster tail was good but the clams and clam chowder was very fishy tasting and the clams were kind of sandy.

Nice experience! This is more than food. Delivered in a bag accompanied by gloves and a bip be ready to dive in. Lots of food. We started with raw oysters. Small but tasty. Then ordered the Wednesday special, snow crab & shrimp plus added clams and crayfish. The special came with corn and potatoes. All of this in the garlic butter sauce with a low spice level. The food was cooked well but quite a bit of work. If you're familiar with boils then you're used to this. We were there around 12:30 and the only diners. The staff was friendly and left us to our own devices. Not really sure of the best plan of attack we could have used a little direction. Maybe a request asking if we knew the best way to eat a crawfish or a laminated instruction page. Minus one star for the small clams and the high cost. Overall an enjoyable time.

I am unaware of any other place in Syracuse that does a seafood boil like this. The seafood was correctly cooked, not over, good flavor, but the sauce takes it from a good meal to 'Wow. I want to come again.' already looking forward to the next time we go.

I got one of their boils. I loved it, but I recommend eating it a day or two later. I ate the rest of mine 2 days later, and it was so good! It was better than when I first got it. It had time for the flavors to maserate. Don't get me wrong, it was really good eating it when I first got it too!

Good place to eat atmosphere is a little dated. Thet don't allow for substitutes and a little pricey.

We had takeout dinner for three persons from Crab N Go. They have interesting choices of dishes and a variety of Party Sacks. We had one Haha Bao Bao, one Party Sack, one fried Catfish and one fried Haddock. In general the food was good, but I think the crust on the fried fish was a little bit too much.

Delicious going down. Mad my stomach boil at 4am. I was not alone. My spouse got up at 6am with a boiling tummy as well. Seafood up North is hard to trust. Not fresh at all definitely frozen and frozen for a long time. Blue Crab is no good. Flavor is not fresh and meat has a powder texture which means FROZEN not fresh. Eat at your own risk. I will not be back.

Yesterday I tried crab-n-go for the first time. I ordered the crazy Friday. I read the menu and I ordered it online. When I got home, surprise, surprise,surprise! There was a 5oz. Split lobster tail. Yea, 5oz. ! What happen with the 1lb. Lobster Tail ? 11/5/21

Fried plater was not bad. But I am shocked by how tiny the scallops are. From where I came from, scallop of this size is used as seasoning.

Went in with a party of just three, about an hour an a half before closing time. There were already guests there eating … we werent served or given menus or even asked for beverages until about 30 minutes after sitting down (there was hardly anyone in the restaurant) server kept looking at us and avoiding us but could go sit behind the register and eat her own food until she felt satisfied enough to come take care of us. The food was absolutely disgusting and disappointing, the sauce was trash! The seafood had a musty strong fishy flavor, potatoes were rotted and smelled like feet. Mussels were dirty and still had netting and sand attached . Only good thing were the crab. As soon as I got home I felt sick. I have been on the toilet since I left and it is now the next day… I dont know if I got food poisened or not… but all i can say is dont go here… and i never leave reviews … Sauce 0/10 , Seafood , 0/10 Customer Service 1/10. Overall experience

Do not recommend, my first and last time for sure ! Owner was super rude because he messed up my food and I asked for it to be corrected ! He insisted that I never returned to his restaurant and which that was my intentions anyway !

This is the worst! The crab legs are extremely small and scallops are about the size of a nickel, maybe a dime. I will NEVER order from this company again. I’m extremely disappointed. This is NOT a half pound of shrimp!

We used to have a beautiful relationship with Crab N Go. We’re talking "picture on the wall" official. For years, this was our must-visit spot during our annual Christmas trip—a hidden gem with an energetic manager and snapping fresh seafood. Unfortunately, our tradition just got canceled. This year, the vibe shifted from "cozy seafood joint" to "interrogation room in a walk-in freezer." The fluorescent lights were blinding, the heat was apparently on strike (bring a parka), and the decor now features vintage dust on the counter that literally hasn't moved since our visit last December. The "staff" consisted of exactly one guy attempting to play the role of chef, server, cashier, and DoorDash diplomat simultaneously. We waited 45 minutes in the cold for what used to be fast, fun food. When the food finally arrived, the disappointment continued. I ordered a pound of shrimp and received exactly five; unless these shrimp were bodybuilders, that math doesn’t check out for a pound. The sauce tasted like spicy water with zero flavor, and the crab legs didn't snap—they bent. Rubbery crab legs are great for yoga, but terrifying for shellfish. That "bendy crab" mystery was solved about 90 minutes later when my wife, who has no allergies, broke out in hives and severe cramping. A doctor confirmed it was likely Scombroid poisoning, which happens when seafood isn't kept cold enough before cooking. It feels like the ownership or care has completely left the building. What used to be a fun dining experience now feels like a discount seafood warehouse in the dirty back room of a bar. We love seafood, but we value our health more, so we won't be back.

I went here yesterday for seafood and it was hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. They mixed up my order with someone else’s, sent that person out the door with my food, then actually had him come back so we could swap bags. That alone was unbelievable, but it got worse. When he returned, the lady asked if I wanted my food remade, and of course I said yes. What I didn’t know is that nothing was remade at all. They took the same exact bag of food that had already left the building, disappeared for a few minutes, and then brought it right back out like I wouldn’t catch on. That’s beyond unprofessional. It’s disgusting. Crab N Go is absolutely not worth spending your money at. The seafood is low quality, the service is careless, and based on what I saw, it really feels like they reuse food just to save money. That is a major red flag. The quality is awful, the handling is unsafe, and the whole situation is a health risk waiting to happen. I strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs because you will end up sick messing around with a business like this. This place needs a serious health inspection and should be completely shut down for how they operate.
