Went in to order carry out. Host was super kind. I seen how cool the bar looked and sat there to wait.. I had the best marg with 21seeds tequila. The bartender was so friendly and informational. The staff was also very kind. I got a Cabo roll and fire cracker roll, they were delicious! I also had the crab rangoons; fantastic. Shout out to the chefs! Can’t wait to try them again!

Came here as a big group several times on their half off sushi Tuesday special and have not been disappointed. Very good, quick service, tons of basic and specialty rolls to choose from, and they all taste very good and fresh. We were amazed at how good of sushi we had at this price point and we're hoping to make it a regular spot for us!

The waitress we had was really nice!! We were there for some sushi after moving all day!!! The food was amazing and the Beer was ice cold!!! They have a Sushi Happy Hour which was extremely nice!!! I’d tell anyone to stop here!! We sat on the patio, nice comfy seats!

Oh my Goodness! I thought I would never be able to get good sushi after having to go plant-based. This sushi made me so happy; it tastes like the sushi I used to eat. I can't wait to try the whole menu. Will be a repeat customer.

My wife and I dined here on Christmas Day. We came specifically because they have extensive vegan options, and our expectations were rising high. Their vegan sushi was sensational, and met our standards in spades. We shall definitely return, with both great enthusiasm and an insatiable hunger than can only be quelled with their amenities. Also the staff were amiable, glamorous, and ruthlessly efficient in attending to my dining needs. A 10/10 all around.

I called with a one day notice for a large party for my 6 year old daughter who loves sushi! GM Derrick was VERY accommodating the entire way! The private dining area was perfect for the kids and our family to dine. Amanda, our server was great and there were lots of staff jumping in to assist her! The food was amazing, all dietary restrictions were accommodated and we had an amazing evening! Thank you all so much! And the pepper steak was as good as the reviews say! Crab rangoons and sushi was of course amazing as well! And can’t forget the great drink selection!

My husband and I had been interested in checking out Sakana for a while now and yesterday we finally had the chance to! Our server Amanda was truly wonderful. She had an upbeat, positive attitude and was knowledgeable about the menu—you can tell that she truly enjoys working there! My husband and I decided to each start off with their 12oz Hot Sake , dumplings and oysters—all of which were phenomenal. We’re typically really big on Sashimi but with the cold weather we decided to try their entrees. I ordered the Pao Krapow and he tried the Duck, both of these were hands down some of the best meals we’ve had from a Sushi Bar! We ended the meal with a slice of their pumpkin cheesecake and green tea ice cream. The only thing I wish is that they had an espresso machine but Amanda was so kind as to accommodate us with cups of coffee! If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend visiting and BONUS they do a happy hour menu all day on Sundays!

Interesting combinations in the rolls, all delicious! Small selection of craft beer was the only downside, but what was available was good. Surprisingly quiet on a Saturday night, service was great and very prompt. Updated: went back recently. All as awesome as I remembered and bonus! We got there late on a Saturday and they had special half price rolls. Amazing!

I’ve been to Sakana many times and it’s a 10/10 each and every time! Everything is absolutely delicious and fresh. They do half price sushi night every week and my friends and I have a common tradition of taking advantage of that! However, eating there at regular price is still worth the money because it’s just that good. I often get their spicy california roll, the cabo roll, the firecracker roll, just to name a few. We also enjoy the crab rangoon, calamari, and thai chili rock shrimp off the appetizer menu. When you’re not in the mood for sushi, they also have an extensive menu of other dishes. Last but not least, as you can see from my photos, is some excellent dessert! All in all it’s an amazing restaurant and has been a go-to for me, my friends and my family for years. Do not skip it!

Great spot in Rocky River for sushi, wok entrees, and noodles/pad thai!!! The crab rangoon starter, edamame, and shishito pepper starts were delicious. The pepper steak entree with fried rice is so yummy. We also tried a lobster sushi roll and it was amazing! Can't wait to come back! Lots of space in the restaurant too. I think the bar area with huge windows in the summer will be so nice. Great service.

3rd visit to Sakana. Each time we were pleasantly surprised by freshness and quality of food. Scorpion Roll, Vegas Roll and spicy Spicy tuna deluxe Roll. Seared ahi with mango jalapeño salsa app. Just solid meal this week.

My new favorite Asian restaurant. As a pescetarian, it's amazing. I can have the seafood options or from the vegan menu as well. My favorite Chinatown restaurant closed, and I'm so excited that now I found the perfect replacement of orange tofu! The Climax roll was also amazing.

Dine in and take out; both experiences have been amazing. This place is always amazing. Great staff, great atmosphere, easy going place with amazing food.

Ended a night out with friends and sushi -so of course, Sakana was a great choice. Our server had a great shirt with a sushi print on it and he was efficient, kind, and knowledgeable especially about the flavor notes of the sake we ordered!

Nice Asian fusion restaurant and sushi bar. They have an expansive menu and a very nice selection of options from the bar. The whiskey list is pretty impressive. The sushi was good and well priced. The dining room is spacious and there is a small patio with 8-10 tables for outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

First time I came for dinner sushi was great, some of the better sushi I've had in the area. But I came for lunch on a weekday and something was off. Sushi didn't taste fresh and really lacked flavor. It's decent but not on the top of my list for sushi.

To go orders: Good tasting food, crab Rangoon is good but the amount of food you get for the price is not good. Barely got any chicken; half of it was veggies and then they overdue the amount of veggies in the rice and noodles. Everything is mostly veggies in the dishes which is ridiculous. They also don’t allow you to type no veggies in the to go orders. Unfortunately won’t order here again until the quantity of food is fixed along with limiting the veggies.

I was a little grossed out and displeased by the amount of people getting extremely close to our food while they were walking to the bathroom. Our food looked very pretty but was very low quality, especially for the price. The pieces of sushi were incredibly small and the tuna was dry. My fried roll became a mushy inedible mess within minutes. We were extremely disappointed by the food and the seating. I can’t believe this place is so highly rated. Like I mentioned before, our waitress did nothing wrong and was super nice. She made the evening bearable. We were just shocked because we ended up paying $90 for what tasted similar to grocery store sushi. There are much better sushi options for similar prices in the area.
