Buongiorno a tutti siamo stati domenica 3 settembre a pranzo con amici e devo dire che sembra tornare un po' indietro nel tempo nel senso che ci si trova nelle trattoria come una volta dove si mangia ancora piatti freschi e fatti a mestiere ,posto bellissimo e anche il servizio e ottimo ci si sente a casa . I prezzi sono onesti e ci tornerò sicuramente PS che spettacolo le costine....

A pleasant discovery on the banks of the Po After visiting the Chignolo Po Castle, we stopped at this simple and pleasant restaurant overlooking the river. The atmosphere is familiar, without too many frills, but with a truly beautiful view. The owner was very kind and helpful. We had a mixed fried fish, a charcuterie board, and a mixed salad. Simple but delicious dishes that left us pleasantly satisfied. The view of the Po is enchanting, with a row of poplars that makes everything even more picturesque in spring (it looks like snow). Sometimes the simplest, most unpretentious places are the ones that surprise the most. A perfect place for those looking for a simple and relaxed lunch, away from the chaos and close to nature. I recommend it and will definitely be back!

A lovely little spot along the banks of the Po River. We often come in the evening to listen to music and enjoy the cool breeze. Excellent cocktails, served impeccably. We also choose this place for aperitifs (the charcuterie and cheese platters are delicious). The food is also excellent, both at lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

Excellent trattoria-style restaurant located on a bend in the Po River. Friendly staff who recommended a good wine. Excellent food, plentiful and tasty. Impeccable and fast service: we were hungry and they served us quickly and in the best possible way. Pumpkin ravioli with sausage ragù; braised bacon in gutturnio / guinea fowl with chestnuts. Thanks to my friend and colleague Valentino, a local guide, who gave us the insider tip. We'll definitely be back, it's worth it!

Having heard about the change of management, we went there today for lunch on August 15th...the choice was never more perfect!!! You already knew Andrea & Monica as the owners of Ristorante Il Bosco and as usual they did not disappoint!!! Excellent food, generous portions and staff that makes you feel at home!!! Excellent as always, keep it up!!!! P.S. The choice of the musical duo that accompanied the restaurant's afternoon was also excellent 👏👏👏

A town on the banks of the Po, which in this region already resembles Guareschi's famous "Great River" and brings to mind many images from Don Camillo. The dishes are refined and well-prepared, the portions are more than adequate, and the service is very quick and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the ravioli stuffed with potatoes, leeks, and guanciale, an excellent English-style roast beef with raspadura shavings, and a tartare with anchovy crouton. The desserts complemented the dishes. The restaurant is clean, and you can dine inside or outside on a waterfront area equipped with umbrellas and tables. The day was rewarded with a bearable heat and that gentle breeze often found on the banks of the Po. The staff is extremely kind and efficient, and the price (for three people) was a very pleasant surprise. This place is definitely highly recommended, both for quick lunches and for families and/or groups. We'll definitely be returning soon.

Beautiful place on the banks of the Po. Excellent Lombard cuisine, try the cold cuts platter (the coppa and the crudo are waoww)... I really loved the pisarei (with rind please) and the braised meat. Friendly staff.. what can I say.. perfect for the summer but also the interior is very welcoming. New management at the top.. I went back and it is always highly recommended. It was snack time and the owner offered us a free excellent plate of cold pasta.. what more do you want from life?
