Blizzard was good as usual Reese’s peanut butter cup with chocolate ice cream and an Oreo blizzard Small cone as an appetizer lol
Surprisingly for a fast food stop.... this wasn't horrible. The burger was decent... the fries too and the ice cream sundae is always great!!! I got the hot fudge and the fudge was so chocolaty and perfect. Dairy Queen ice cream is always great.
Amazing banana split. I just wish they would add a lid to the peanuts. We went through the drive through and while I was eating the peanuts spilled in my car.
Listen.... I think this place has some of the best tasting fast food ive ever had. However this is my second visit to a new to fast food chain and upon both visits ive had issues at order. I have been overcharged, caught things I didnt ask for, and given smaller sizes then asked and paid for. I hope this gets better bc the food itself is amazing.
If not for the cheerful service, I would have given 1-2 stars. The fries were cold and the hot fudge Sunday had VERY little hot fudge on it!
I guess it depends on what time you go there but every time I’ve been there I’ve had to wait in line for at least half an hour just to order, the last time I went there the floor was so sticky. My shoe actually came off of my foot and it took so long for my blizzard to come out that it was half melted, if they would’ve held it upside down (like they’re supposed to before handing it to me) it would’ve slid out of the cup and I wish I would’ve I remembered that at the time.. you’re supposed to get a free blizzard if that happens! other than my blizzard being melted, and the service being kind of crappy, the food is still OK and it’s the only Dairy Queen that I know of that’s open past 9.
They are smiling and polite. Quick to fill our orders and present them upside down. We were just shocked to see how tiny and expensive our mini orders were. They also failed to inform us that their blizzards were only 85 cents if we would have ordered the small ones instead! We even tipped them and we paid $13 dollars total for two mini blizzards in cups the size of two bathroom mouthwash cups!! Shame.
Came here halfway through a 4 hour drive, to find only 1 person working and 10 people already in line, with the worker just sitting on their phone. I ordered online before hand a whole 45 mins before and had to wait in the lobby for another 30, just to find out they don’t even have any ice cream other than chocolate. It’s a Dairy Queen?¿ Oh and after all of this they forgot part of my order and I had to ask for it. All with the ambience of children crying in the back because they didn’t have their ice cream.
Walked in to purchase 2 Blizzards to go. The positives: The cashier was pleasant and efficient. The blizzards were standard, what we expected. The rest: Without exaggerating.... it was like walking into a 3rd world country. The noise from a large group of adult patrons was insane. Half the tables had trash left behind on them. 2 customers ahead of me in line were barely English-speaking and had an extensive order they were trying to place. Girl at register was sweet, and trying to help, but had that deer-in-the-headlights look. Items ordered come out quickly but simply placed up on a counter for customers to walk up and grab on their own with no indication of what's in the container or to which customer it belongs. Might be ok on a slow day but when busy, this system is a recipe for disaster. Lids are provided just below that counter to self-serve. Spoons are in an open basket - unwrapped, facing any which way - for customers to take on their own... so gross. I'm not at all looking for covid level precautions here but God knows how many people's hands touch a spoon before it's finally used. Finally... my shoes literally stuck to the floor. I left. Never again. I can count on one hand how many times I've been to any DQ in the past decade, and won't be doing it again anytime soon.
I’m not sure what this thick liquid is on my toast, butter? It’s drowned in it and it almost looks like honey or something. The chicken had a hair on it. I’ve been to this location a few times and I’m always disappointed because the food feels like it’s prepared without care and the restaurant itself is always kind of gross and unclean. This time I couldn’t finish the meal it was just too gross. I don’t think I’ll give this place another chance again. I have been going to DQ my whole life and I can easily say this is the worst location I’ve ever been to and the grossest! If you read the other reviews you can see this is a trend. My experience with other restaurants like this is that they wont actually take this feedback to heart and do anything about it so this place is probably a lost cause.
We got served our ice cream before our food and finished it before we still had to go get our food. It's supposed to be brought to the table. It sat so long under the warming light it COOKED ranch dressing and the burger looked disgusting. No bun for allergy but they didn't put any toppings on. Dining room was filthy, super sticky floors. Saw people standing around when it was super busy. People started walking out. It seemed like only one person was working and she didn't move very fast. The grill guy had to stop making food to help with the counter. This place has gone downhill. Used to come weekly and won't be coming back.
I asked for a banana to be blended into my vanilla shake… I didn’t mean the whole banana. Found the stem of the banana in my shake. Kept getting the little string pieces thinking celery ended up in my shake some how
The past two times I’ve come here ive gotten blizzards. One red velvet that had 4 small pieces of cake pieces and most recently I ordered a snow drift blizzard and somehow got a choco brownie extreme blizzard. Not sure how that happened especially since I mobile ordered. Place wasn’t crowd either so I’m not sure what the issue was but the consistently wrong orders is making me want to stop going.
If I could give this place zero stars I would i took my kids there for blizzards and it's an absolutely disgusting experience. They handed me a cup covered in chocolate and chocolate syrup all over the side, like no one even bothered to wipe it down. My hand is dripping out with syrup and ice cream, hanging out the window, and not a single napkin offered. I asked for it to be remade and they remade it WRONG. Again. I had to get out of my car, walk in, and ask for it to be remade again. While I’m standing there, another customer is complaining they messed up her order too. So clearly, this place is just consistently sloppy. Avoid this place at all costs. The hygiene is trash, the service is worse, and they clearly don’t care. Spend your money somewhere that respects you and cares about customer satisfaction.
I went here about 6 months ago and used the restroom before ordering. It was absolutely filthy, and I was pregnant at the time so I left without ordering food. If the bathroom and dining room were that dirty (sticky floors, food stains on the walls, garbage on tables), then I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. I recently decided to give them a second chance, and placed a mobile order. When I arrived, the employee told me the grill was down - at 1pm on a Thursday (peak lunch time!). They told me a manager would void my order and I could place another order for just the ice cream. I didn’t receive any receipt or proof that my mobile order was voided, and they marked it as completed and I was charged. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. It’s concerning that employees are dishonest about refunding mobile orders that they cannot fulfill. The sundaes I paid for separately were messily made, with caramel and whipped cream all on the outside of the cup. And again, no receipt.
I would have given a zero if it was an option. We went to get lunch and ice cream after a great morning celebrating Mother’s Day with our family. Ordered our food and the young girl at the register was having all sorts of issues trying to cash us out I was using cash, one would think this would be simple. Then we sat down in a corner both and waited for our food. I noticed the large picture on the wall behind where my wife was sitting in the booth was covered with splattered ice cream, table was not wiped and hadn’t been for a while. Then we went up to get our ice cream after we finished eating and had a token from my sons meal for his ice cream as we wanted it after his meal, so we used that for his cone and ordered two blizzards as well. Again took girl at register forever to figure out she owed me $1.46 change and she didn’t even get it right she gave me 1.41 instead, didn’t care it was only $0.05, but again frustrating that it took her literally forever to cash us out. Then she hands me my Son’s vanilla ice cream cone, I nicely said it’s suppose to have rainbow sprinkles. She looked at me like I had 10 heads, then walked to the back and talked to two other girls who were making the ice cream dishes and came back and said oh that’s not included with the meal/token. I said ok I can pay extra and she just said ok and walked away, I didn’t feel like having to talk to her again at this point, so I just listened to my 3 year old son complain that daddy didn’t get him sprinkles for the next 10 minutes while he ate his ice cream. I get businesses are hard pressed for team members right now but that girl has to go! Also, please clean your establishment absolutely disgusting, other DQs in the area are much better, stay away!!
I went to the Transit road Lancaster New York location at 4:00 p.m. on 10/30/24. There were only two cars in line ahead of me but the one was waiting to order for over 12 minutes so I left the line to go inside to place my order. The lighting near the front area was not on so it was very dim. I ordered two medium blizzards which cost almost $16, and they didn't have any extras added to them. When my blizzard was handed to me the ice cream consistency looked very thin and liquidy, the other blizzard had a consistency that was a little bit better. When I mentioned the way the the ice cream looked the lady said that they were fine, apologized for the wait and then proceeded to say that they were behind with serving because they had a grill fire earlier in the afternoon. Even though she was polite she was being very dismissive about my comment regarding the ice cream consistency. I put the blizzards in my freezer as soon as I arrived home. This did not help improve the consistency of the ice cream even though I had my blizzard in the freezer 4 hours before attempting to consume. So I basically wasted $16 today. Later in the day I was able to find the time the report of the fire was dispatched and it was at 13:40 hrs. Why was this business open if a fire occurred only a few hours earlier than the time of my visit? The moral of this review is I won't be returning to this Dairy Queen location ever again.
Definitely found a hair in a blizzard. My sister didn’t want to go back so unfortunately it’s in a Burger King cup so I don’t have a photo of it but it was definitely a whole hair on the spoon infused with the icecream lol. Wonderful experience. Makes me not want to eat mine
I was there with my kids last night and a little girl (8-9yr) had a small vomitting incident, instead of speaking in a calm manner staff were so rude to her and her family. The girl at the cash register kept rolling her eyes and another employee came up to the little girl and her mom to get off the premises in the most rude tone. The little girl was obviously feeling uncomfortable and the employee was yelling at her to get out and that they were not allowed to come again. The atmosphere is NOT what you want to come into after a long day at work or to come and relax. I cannot even blame the girl, the smell inside the DW was horrendous and was even making me feel nauseous. DQ NEEDS TO DO A BETTER JOB! The response to this incident was saddening to see. DQ Lancaster needs to do a better job at making sure employees are trained to handle all situations. The employee yelling was a tall young man with brown hair hat and glasses. I hope he gets the repercussions from the manager because how rude. It was so sad to see this through my own eyes as I am sure many of the other mothers there felt the same, “what if that happened to my child? would they treat us the same way?” DQ DO A BETTER JOB TO TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!! HAVE SOME EMPATHY! 0/5 rating from my end.
Absolutely horrific … no none blunt way to put it. Went to this Dairy Queen location to pickup 7 blizzards for my family & friends, and every single blizzard was pathetic; no toppings, straight ice cream, and tasted horrible. For $7~$9 dollars for a small~medium blizzard, I expect much MUCH better. Clearly additional training and/or quality control is needed. I have been going to Dairy Queen’s for years, and this was by far my worst experience ever. Highly recommend avoiding this Dairy Queen’s location, especially if you plan on purchasing a blizzard. Do better Dairy Queen!
