Great customer service. Courteous. Food always made correctly to order AND they give you a courtesy text/call when your order is ready. The one in Desoto? Not so much. Take the extra minute or two to drive over the Bypass and order from Lancaster Waffle House!

I went in on a Saturday morning and was expecting it to be crowded and busy, but it wasn't too bad. We were greeted with smiles and hellos as soon as we walked in. Loved the food, but the customer service was above and beyond amazing . Our server Mark was funny and friendly and knew everyone by name. The food came out quick and hot and Mark made sure to check on us often to make sure we were ok. The tables were neat and clean and ready for the next customer as soon as we got up. I highly recommend this location and will be back very soon.

two ladies working alone after a big rush. Still had time to be extra friendly, and charming.. Cooked my breakfast bowl fast and exactly as I like it, with the eggs and bacon prefect. So much work left to be done, they were working and having a good time talking with me. But did not let up for a moment! That's what I call multitasking.. Great job ladies..

From the minute me and my wife stepped foot into Waffle House we were greeted with positive energy and we were able to find a seat right away bc usually you'd have to wait a minute or two. Our server was very nice and kind, our food was fresh and hot. We both ordered that waffle special with 2 eggs, hash, and choice of sausage, ham or bacon, and me being a big guy i ordered all three meats. Everything was delicious even the bacon. They "burnt" the bacon which I don't mind I actually love it that way.

Food was good. I could tell the server did not want to be there but she got us our food just as we ordered it. I did not get a refill on my drink until I was ready to go but other than that it was a good experience

I haven't eaten at a Waffle House in quite a long time. I'm glad I stopped by this one in Desoto. My waitress, MySherri, was very nice and attentive to my needs. I didn't have to look around for her, not once before my glass was filled again. I ordered the All Star Special, and I want to compliment the cook, Ms. Myesha, for representing Waffle House in such a fabulous manner. She delivered my food fast, as ordered, and smoking hot. It tasted so delicious.

I've been to Waffle Houses literally all over the country, and this particular one is by far the best one I've ever been to. We went on a Thursday evening, shortly before they stopped serving indoor guests, but they were still serving drive thru customers. The entire staff that was there on the day that I was there are absolutely wonderful customer service the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied something was wrong with my order but he took care of it I don't hardly ever go to The waffle House the majority of the ones that you go to or not clean their place was very clean and it was a staff of all men and they seem to get along really well they had a system that works for them the place was very clean if I decide to go back to a waffle House it would definitely be that one on beltline in DeSoto by the Walmart

A positive experience from beginning to end. As I got out of my car around 4:30 am the young man sweeping the parking lot courteously advised me that their debit machine was not working. I had cash so that was alright but my phone battery was low. I asked if there was somewhere I could plug in and he stopped what he was doing to show me exactly where to find the outlet. While my phone was charging I ordered breakfast. The young lady who took my order was careful to get it right and took pains to be helpful. I like my eggs a certain way and I almost never get them done right but today they were perfect. I like whole milk in my coffee. She gave me two glasses in succession at no extra charge. When I was ready to go they let me take my coffee cup outside to smoke a cigarette while I sipped. When I came back in they made me a cup to go just as I like it. Several people engaged me in conversation while I was there and I truly felt welcome and appreciated, no easy feat in a large chain! I would advise anyone local or passing through to give this place a try!

Went on a Sunday evening so business was slow. But with these two ladies doesn't matter if they're busy or not it's going to be on point. Most waffle houses forget something on my hash browns everything was correct and good. Needs to be more people willing to work like these ladies. Thank you for the good meal.

It was so great. Two women waited on myself and my old man. and they were so cool and nice. I wish I could remember their names but it was Monday night at 1am. One had ombre dreadlocks and the other had dark dreadlocks. By far the best customer service at a Waffle House I've ever had. And some of the best customer service I've had anywhere, period. And the one lady was constantly tidying up, it was clean in there. The older military dude committed our food perfectly. Please tell them all we said thanks!

Food was great. My first time at this location. I love that they have a greeter who will clean the tables so someone can sit quickly. Everyone was friendly. Looks like they have a really good system going and I would make this my regular location if I didn’t live so far. Thanks guys!

I went to this location last night the cooks are not playing at this location. The actually put some love in that menu. I hate to pay for bad food but what they did with that food was worth double the money. Thank you for caring at this location.

This Waffle House was really great! At first we were a bit skeptical because there were no other customers on a Saturday afternoon at 2:00. Our lovely server Cassandra informed us that this was not the best time to come because they are in the middle of shift change! Our food was fresh, hot and delicious! We will be back!

Food was amazing! It reminded me of growing up poor eating grits and bread. The service was great and I loved the fact you can watch them prepare your meals. We waited 15 minutes if that for all our food. You can't please everyone unfortunately but I actually appreciated the staff interaction and how they are comfortable with each other. That's how me and mu coworkers talk to each other lol

I enjoyed myself here. Having to wait on your food is normal especially if you want fresh hot food. I don’t understand why people complain about the wait. Like the cook has to cook it and that means it’s going to take a little time. The staff were nice and friendly as usual. I always tip as usual rather it’s dine in or take out. The food is always good Period. When I arrived it was only one cashier and one cook but they turned that place out. Kudos to them. Thank y’all for delivering good food and great customer service.

Headed back to Austin I need of a waffle. No better place to stop but the Waffle House! I order an orange juice, coffee, and water for my drinks. As for food I ordered the All-Star Special. A waffle, toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, and grits! This place was amazing!! The staff great and the older woman whom was my chef, I’m gonnna keep it real. I’d love to take her out on a date. You all are kind and there needs to be more kindness in the world!

We were there on a Sunday afternoon. It was a nice crowd. We had to wait a little bit for them to clean a table and was seated right away. The server was very nice and polite. She had cool green hair 👍🏽 we ordered the all-star and breakfast bowl. Both were DELICIOUS! The bacon was crispy and the eggs were JUST RIGHT! everything came out to $22 and some change. Overall, the food was good and hot, definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I go at least once a month. For the most part service is good the food is prepared to our liking eveytime. Reasonably priced for folk on a budget and plenty to eat. This place needs an up grade. Other than that it's a cozy place to have a home style cooked meal.

I was honestly surprised at how good the food was. And the service was out of this world. From front greeter to server, the service was honestly above and beyond what you'd expect from any chain, anywhere. We felt we under-tipped, even at 50%!!!

I eat at this location a lot and love the different vibes I get here no matter day or night when I come. Cooks are great and the help here’s great as well. Weekends can be pretty busy and crowded so I try and reserve my appetite for it to the week days, lol. Guess I got to let some others enjoy them too. The constant price changes of the menu over the years has been my only issue.

This is a family staple. You have to like dinner style eating, but if you do then I recommend it. The menu is now limited and I missed the steak and eggs. I ordered bacon instead and it was tasty. Sat the bar and the customer to my right had the pork chops. Next time I am going to try the pork chops.

Food was great, service not so good. Our waiter came took our order and then he just never checked on us for refills of our coffee and forgot some of our order. We had to ask for the other part of the order and for refills from another wait staff. Definitely asking for a different waiter next time we ever stop there.

I've been to some nasty Waffle House's and I've been to some cool ones... and this one was as good as they come. The staff was presentable, my food was excellent (I don't eat pork), and the tables and counters were all clean. I did have to ask for jelly & water, and no one checked on me but it was still a good experience because of the food (even though I could've ordered something a little more economical). I'll visit this one again.

I don't expect a lot but I at least need my server to check on me after serving my food, and especially when I have coffee. Vida wasn't worried about me she was "busy" on the other side of the restaurant talking. I actually had to ask another server for what I needed. There were only 5 customers when I came in.

Food was really good but honestly the dirtiest waffle house I have ever seen. Floors were horrible and the trash in the kitchen was right next to us and falling on the ground. I don't know why the waitress would even wear a mask if it looks like a dirty diaper. Also when my wife went to pay, the waitress chose 5 stars on the review screen instead of my wife chosing..... Weird... Clean up your store and make your people clean up and this place would be Poppin!

The one in DeSoto had me waiting for 30 minutes for a to go order while they served people that came in after me. My food was not great but better than the one on 30 and Jim Miller that burnt my whole sampler plate. This Saturday at 8 pm, I visited this location and had a middling experience. Although the staff was initially rude when I tried to sit at a table, telling me that side was closed in a blunt way, the food was excellent, and I appreciated the cook's talent, as every dish tasted great.

The food is great as any waffle house everywhere. The workers are on the clock. They know they'll get paid either way so they have no rush to take your order, cook it, or bring your ticket once you're done. They're slower than other locations.😔😔 They allow the guy to cook with his pants hanging showing his boxers.

HORRIBLE! Overworked, underpaid staff, and it shows! The employees had an attitude, but it was probably because they don't have enough help and are working like a dog for minimum wage. I would probably have an attitude under those conditions. So it all probably boils down to management and poor working conditions. We waited a REALLY long time for drinks and the meal. So don't go here if you're starving and in a rush, otherwise, ENJOY!

I called my order in and was told it would take 15 minutes. I arrived my food had been there a little on the count just open and waiting on not sure what. Someone asked why is this order just chilling so the server says yeah its chilling close it and when it was time for me to pay I had to wait, because I guess team or shift one had their drawer removed and they couldn't touch the register. So the man on team 2 could but he was taking an order and the other team member was looking busy but just really moving around so on top of my food chilling and no one being able to take my money my food was cold. I had to pick my daughter up from school so I didn't have time to fuss. They need to get it together.

Service was terrible except the young waiter. The cook slash manager was on where to be found for 15 minutes. The waiter made my hashbrowns but th a that's all he knew. When the cook finally showed he made my sandwich but didn't put on the hamburger pattie. Another customer ordered a egg and bacon sandwich and he forgot the egg.

Visited Waffle House for the very first time. The wait was 10 minutes, they text us when our table was ready, and we sat in a loud crowded place. The food looked good,we all ordered hashbrown bowls with blueberry waffles. My bowl had hair in it which I sent back, it was thrown in the trash and a new one was made within minutes. Coffee was good, food was good, waffles were soft and delicious! But while eating, I started noticing the area, we sat by the kitchen entrance which a small overflowing trashcan was placed by. There was trash literally all over the floor that workers were stepping on and over. I sat and watched 4 employees step on trash and even 1 who dumped food ONTO the overflowing pile!! I asked for a manager just to point out the trash, she just smiled and said they'd have someone to pick it up. She didn't care, lol. I just don't even understand how people work in a food service environment and walk all on and over trash. Ugh. I'd hate to see the restroom! It really shows the character of people...our people.

My family and I really enjoy the Waffle House. We know it's not upscale but usually get an acceptable meal and service, not this time. The place was filthy. I would not recommend this waffle house to anyone, the servers have more attitude than a pregnant woman for no good reason. The food has enough grease to power your car through a road trip. Currently here... When we walked inside, a pot was on a lit stove and a pan but no workers inside... NOT 1 WORKER. After 20 mins of waiting, both workers hopped out the back seat of a car that was in the parking lot- ridiculous!!! By this time I was in the car; but decided to get out and ask them whether or not they were going to work tonight. I told them I had been there for 20 minutes while the place was completely unattended. I also told the cook I just watched the both of them jump out the car... he told me no it was just him and Jazz been there(a lie bc I sat in my car in the lot watching). Next thing I know the other person working with him comes out the bathroom brushing his teeth trying to convince me he wasnt just in the car with this guy for at least the 20 minutes I could account for. I left and went up the street. Very poor service and experience. Will never return.

This location is effing horrible. Very cold air causing your food to get cold fast. Very rude management unconcerned about the request of customers. No waiting area/chairs put up so you can’t wait. The Lancaster location used to be so much better than this. It seems they are turning away business rather than ushering them in. I will never visit this location again and I live near it.

One of the top 3 worst breakfast I've ever had 2 eggs over medium bacon sausage double hash browns simple right when I explained to my server I would like my eggs yokes broken and cooked not runny but the whites not overcooked medium eggs made it out runny sent back again I explained to my server how I wanted them hash browns were soaked in oil cold bacon had set up and got cold you could see the grease had set up on it white dried oil I only said something about my. The worst Waffle house in the world! Waited for someone to clean the empty table that had been dirty for 10 minutes. Then, finally got seated then waited another 5 minutes for someone to take our order! Now mind you it was not busy! Just a bunch of lazy employees! The entire restaurant was filthy and there was water leaking from the vents. The floor was dirty and very sticky! We never got anyone to take our order so we left! Totally disgusting!

Soon I arrive the tables was dirty and the waitress had on a Santa Claus hat instead of a hairnet. I had to get 3 forks before I was satisfied. The workers have on no hairnets. The waitress was so quick to bring the receipt before the food hit the table. I say this place need new management. Food was ok. Just felt uncomfortable eating at this place.

Overall bad experience. From the time we walked in, I thought it was too small and confined inside. Also being so close to the kitchen, you can hear and see the unprofessionallism. I think being a waffle house, it should be a waffle you should be proud of. The waffles were thin and tasteless. Our order was incorrect on top of everything else.

I arrived and they don't even attend well, he tells me They say in a hard way that they took the last order and I see people who still don't attend, supposedly just to take away. And it's 8:20pm, I don't see any sign that says that after a certain time it's to take away. I usually come at night and something like this has never happened to me.

So this location doesn't tell you prior to ordering a "to go" you can't wait inside, you have to wait in your car and they will text you when food is ready. Mind you there is no mask requirements (and i still where my mask), all the wait chairs are stacked up so you can't sit down and the bar area had/has no customers sitting there.... now my total cost came to $12 something after I added a $2 tip.... as I walked back out into the near 100° heat i turned back around, went back inside and canceled my order... BECAUSE the feeling of WHITES ONLY feeling took over me and this may not be what the owner wants people to feel HOWEVER it's very hot out, gas runs about $100 to fill up my truck and you want me to wait in my vehicle (running ac)? AND I was gonna tip for this service... hell to the no no NO. The topper of the story the young lady that took my order and canceled it reaches over both times and gives herself/location 5 stars for service on credit card machine.... the lies that get reported back smdh!

Service was slow...tables needed to be cleared and cleaned...masks should be mandatory for ALL wait staff, but instead only the cook kept his on consistently. Wait staff who were assisting customers, did not bother to use their masks properly (nose and mouth EXPOSED). I witnessed one server, who had three tables, five customers total, and she nor the customers had on protective masks...WILL NOT BE VISITING ANY TIME SOON...the area in question is in a potential “hot spot” for C-19.....Lancaster, Texas

This place is horrible. As we waited in someone to at least acknowledge we were there we witnessed waitresses standing near the grill and ignoring other patients while taking bites of their good and specifically eating hot Cheetos. They were kicking their fingers then grabbing customer plates. When one of the staff spoke up to others they began arguing about who has which tables. The entire staff needs to be fired including the manager who was laughing and joking with them. Multiple customers walked out before and after us complaining. I will never go there again.

After 10 mins go by they come tell me I have to move cause booths for families on weekends and ain't no families in here at all. Trash for real that's why no business. Today, I experienced the worst service at Waffle House. The pregnant waitress has a horrible attitude and worst customer service. If you don't want to work, and can provide good customer service then you should not be on front lines of seating, greeting people, and making the atmosphere positive. As I entered the establishment there there other people waiting to be seating. She was the only person standing in the front and refused to speak or ask if I were placing a order or dining in. When another customer walked in she began to help her without acknowledging the other three people standing there. I had to interject because me including with the other four people were not helped at all or seated. After I interjected. I received an attitude from both waitresses one being named Chris and the pregnant waitress. They continued to ignore me while helping others who came after me. It wasn't until the cook, Gary took my order. As I sat and received my order taken. I still had no drinks. Gary asked Chris to help but she refused. I watched as two other people complained about their orders. I wish I knew the pregnant lady's name because she was the worst.

My food was really good but my husband had hair in his eggs and then on his ham. The silverware was dirty and 2 of our plates. The waitress was very polite and explained the dish washer was malfunctioning. Will not visit or recommend this location.

Stopped in there lastnight. Few customers in the building and few clean tables. Looks like they didn't bother cleaning up after folks left. Should've left right then and there, but we stayed. Asked for a sweet tea. I think they brewed the coffee and tea all in the same pot. Didn't get our order right. Waitress seemed too occupied with her music, and dishes to pay us any mind. We had to physically get up and get in front of her to get her attention. We won't be stopping there again even if we're starving. Oh yes, and the comment about the tea and coffee was confirmed when my wife asked for a coffee to go. Looked like coffee, smelled like tea and tasted like $hit.

Me and my wife just ate here and it was very uncomfortable! It felt like we were eating in a freezer! Waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything else. She acted like she was overwhelmed and was rude! People need to learn customer service and how to treat their customers!!

Stopped at about 2:30 pm on Wed, Sep 11. Out of 4 adult orders, none were correct. Staff was having a good time using vulgar language very loudly at a gathering at the counter. None of us 4 adults recommend this Waffle House. Count this as 4 thumbs down.

This location doesn’t service dine in customers after 11pm. Which is fine if they put it on a sign or maybe gave customers some kind of way of knowing in advance to driving or Uber if all the way there just to be told in person that you aren’t welcome to dine in after a certain time. Just seems inconvenient and inconsiderate to have your hours listed as 24 hours but not stipulate that detail.

We sat down at the counter and after ordering our food we had a chance to observe what was going on behind that counter. It was a total mess. Food was spilling out over the pans that were being used, the floor was littered with food, and garbage was clearly visible near the counter. My niece and I were so disgusted we had to walk out before our order arrived. One thing we noticed was that there were multiple staff members just standing around doing nothing. They don't ever have to worry about seeing us there again.

placed to go order then went to sit in my truck. i watched several people go in, eat and leave but we still had no food (1 hr waiting). no rush, everyone goofing off and moving super slow. i dont get it, does this location have no management at all? get it together or just close down so something worthwhile can open in its place.

The kitchen and service areas were filthy. If the Health Inspector had shown up, they would have been cited for health violations and cross contamination. The waffle I received was not fluffy at all. It was flatter than the plate. Worst Mother's Day experience ever. The only thing good about was I got to see my son.

The cooks and hostess were great, but our waitress ruined the experience. She was dismissive, difficult to get her attention, argued with the cooks and hostess, got my order missed up, and never served my companion's waffel, yet charged us for it. The hostess tried to intervention, and should get a raise. The cooks had 20 plates in front of them, while our hostess insisted on trying to get them to help her delete something on her phone. Probably a bad review.

The service was terrible. They gave my table really warm drinks with no ice. Also my food was burnt badly. I felt like if I took a bit that I will get sick. Never going again!!!

i accidentally ordered at the wrong location and there was no way to contact this location because they dont even accept phone calls at this location. so they took my $5.62 and never were able to get me a refund.

I love some Waffle House but this one gave me some nasty hard chunks in the grits.. Then I found an Eggshell and a beard hair in my food. Worst Waffle House I’ve had in my 30 years … the one in Duncanville is better

I came here to celebrate today on a new job and I received cold grits and eggs. I had big chunks in my grits and a sausage that’s was partial. The waitress was great she had worked here for 10 years she should have never allowed food to come to a customer like that. She also required a tip i went ahead and gave her one but it definitely was not for service of my food. I do not recommend.
