Time and time again, I always come back to Stanz. I bring friends and family to share lunch or brunch here, because it’s a staple to Larchmont dining. Their portions are phenomenal, and the prices are very fair and affordable. I also love that they have free refills for drip coffee. This place is truly wonderful.

The sandwich was excellent, there really is.no traditional waiter service. You order when you first enter, take a number and take a seat, they will bring you the food.

Nice breakfast place. Lots of counter help when placing your order. Very large menu filled with delicious choices. Pour your own coffee, find a table and wait for your food to be brought to you. Everything served fresh and hot. Scones were a nice nosh while waiting. Place is noisy but not too loud. Indoor and outdoor seating available. One bathroom. We liked the place. ♿️

THE COFFEE GUY IS TOO BUSY CHATTING WITH A LADY AT THE COFFEE COUNTER TO NOTICE 3 OUT OF 4 COFFEE URNS WERE EMPTY!! As I had my order was mixed up and incorrect, I felt it best to have some coffee. Sadly the coffee guy who runs the counter let 3 of the 4 coffee urns run out. When I asked, he seemed ruffled because I wanted a specific coffee then point me to another flavor. He then proceeded to not bother but instead continue his chitchat with a woman sitting at the coffee counter. Several customer were looking for coffee to have with their meals. This guy did not bother helping the kid who was also working at the crepes. I sent up several times, to see none of the coffee was brewed. I loved the ambience of this place! It’s adorable and the service is great too. Food and coffee were both mediocre at best. But I’d definitely like to give it another shot as I’ve only heard raving reviews from everyone. Perhaps what I ordered wasn’t the best choice.

The place is cute. The table was dirty and I was given a dirty rag to clean it...oh well. Ordered a salad which, according to the menu, has gorgonzola. Came with BLUE CHEESE. Irritating. But not the end of the world. The salads were indeed delicious and with generous portions.

When you walk in there’s a very small sign on the wall that says “Grab a menu order at counter before sitting.” There is no one there to give you further directions, you get to the counter a man who’s taking the orders starts yelling “your suppose to make a line” “who’s ready to order?” “Who’s first?” He was rude and condescending to say the least. I was uncomfortable the entire time I was there. I should’ve just walked out, people are just trying to grab a bite have some coffee and relax on a week day that is no way to greet customers. They clearly can care less about customer service. The food was amazing! It’s such a bummer because I really wanted to like this place but it’s definitely not worth it.

Grilled chicken sandwich with roasted pepper is neither grilled nor roasted. They are basically fried. I am not going to be modest, but I can easily call myself as "bread gourmet". The sandwich was in an old baguette. It was a big disappointment. We were very lucky(!) to have a chicken soup with hair attached to celery with the first spoon was the worst experience. The breakfast home fries is not bad, and the place has a good vibe, but that's all.

I was really disappointed in this place. We took take out and the presentation was horrible. It was very sad looking combination. My boyfriend had soft fried eggs avacado and goat cheese on an english muffin. They literally just slapped together the entire thing and placed it in the container. I had soft fried eggs corned beef withe gruyere cheese on bread with home fries. Again the presentation was very sad everthing waa thrown into the container the home fries were not edible they were burned and it looked like they ran out of regular potatoes so they added random sweet potatoes (I did not even tale one bite of the potatoes the portion was just that sad). Additionally, there was an eggshell in my food. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were closing at 3 and we ordered at 2 but its still inexcusable . We debated on giving them another try as a sit down but once I chewed the egg shell it was an Instant no. For the other restaurants on the same strip that put put incredible food Stanz needs to really step it up.

I have to say this place was the biggest disappointment when it comes to omelette and brunch. I always wanted to try it. When I ordered, I didn’t realize it was that place. They forgot the cheese in my omelette, and the greens were not fresh at all - no dressing, nothing on it. The pieces of chicken were salty and big. The latte had too much milk. I asked for skim milk, but I got full-fat milk. I took it out, but it was not closed properly and spilled in my ca

Unfortunately, the great food was overpowered by the distasteful treatment I received on arrival. While my wife was on line to order, I asked one of the staff where the bathroom was. The staff, whose picture is attached, said to me, “we don’t have a bathroom.” Even though I thought it strange that a restaurant wouldn’t have a bathroom, I went back on line to join my wife. We asked another staff where the bathroom was and he told us, “over by the bar”, where I was originally. I went back and sure enough, there was a bathroom. In fact there was two bathrooms . When I approached the staff that told me there was no bathroom, he acted as if he didn’t know what I was talking about. I called him a “liar” and took his picture. When we spoke to the “manager “ he said he would talk to him and apologized but really didn’t seem too interested to me. What was it about me that made him not want to tell me where the bathroom was? You decide. Good food overpowered by terrible treatment and a manager with a lackadaisical attitude. Even a bathroom is for patrons only would have been more appropriate.
