We came here to celebrate a belated birthday, and had a great time. We chose the nigiri focused omakase course and each fish was very fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The staff also gave us a great recommendation for sake pairing. Thank you for being a true highlight of your vegas trip !

Been wanting to try this place for a bit. Finally had the chance to eat here. I am a "quality vs quantity" type person. Im willing to pay for something thats quality. Sushi was fresh, great tasting, and REAL crab used in the sushi!! Who does that around here!? Definitely my new go to spot!

First time eating at this spot. Food was on point, fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable in introducing each dish. Price was reasonable @$168

Very good. Every omakase is a different experience and I highly recommend trying out a few places if you love sushi. Kyara's omakase was unlike any other I have had. Where as I feel most omakase's center the majority of the meal around fish, Kyara was equally balanced with non-sushi dishes. Take for instance the paper-pot shabu, this is not something typically seen in an omakase menu and was a prominent part of the meal. I would say Kyara skirts the line between omakase and kaiseki. It's not a bad thing by any means, in fact I think it makes it more enjoyable for a wider range of people. I also found Kyara to be reasonably priced and an enjoyable experience. There wasn't as much interaction with the sushi chefs as with other omakase experiences I have had however. There also wasn't the traditional handing of individual sushi pieces to the guest from the chef as you tend to associate with a true omakase experience. All that being said, I thought it was a great experience, everything was delicious, and it was very reasonably priced. Well worth it and I would 100% return. They also had fresh grated wasabi as an add-on. If you have never had fresh grated wasabi, you need to experience it at least once, it has such a beautiful floral flavor and is far less pungent and "spicy" than what you usually get in the paste form.

I had nothing short of a fantastic experience. The vibe in there is immaculate, great music great people. Every dish during the tuna cutting was delicious. I was so full after its worth it.

Kyara is now my favorite new Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. The sashimi is incredibly fresh and melts in your mouth, and their hand rolls and skewers are absolutely to die for- perfectly balanced with flavor and texture. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and authentic. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service is just as impressive as the food. If you’re a fan of high-quality Japanese cuisine, Kyara is a must-try. I can’t wait to come back!

Wanted to visit this place for a while, finally made it to LV. The food tasted amazing! Especially the bluefin tune, it’s a MUST try! We ordered many different tuna options, we loved them all! Skewers were good too, but liked more chicken over beef. Miso soup was great, probably some msg there lol House sake was nice and soft. Service was very attentive and polite! Ambience is great, they did the best out of the space they have. Definitely a must visit place if you’re a sushi lover, especially if you love tune as we do!

been to this gem a few times since their grand opening, one of the most affordable omakase experience w/ 2 options ($68 ume & $98 take) without sacrificing the food quality. recently attended a tuna cutting event and it was a completely mind blowing experience! first time eating scrapings off a tuna rib and taking tuna spinal jelly shots never ever crossed my mind until chef winston started giving some! (if you got bar seats). make sure to check this off your list when you are in vegas! follow their ig page (@omakase_kyara) as they post the schedule there!

Kyara is one of my favorite Japanese places to go to with a wide variety of quality food. You have the option of sushi, skewers, izakaya and even Omakase all in one location. This is right off the freeway and you don’t have to go all the way to Spring Mountain for quality Japanese food. All of the food is quality and anything you choose will be amazing. They have variety of meat and veggie skewers. They even have A5 wagyu skewers which I’d highly recommend if you haven’t tried it. Sushi wise you can’t go wrong with tuna (akame, toro, otoro) as everything they have is fresh. The only thing is that I believe they have different menus depending on what time of the day you arrive. We arrived late night which offered the late night menu (9pm-1am) but all the options were still great food items. They provide three different types of sitting arrangements. One is at the bar which provides you an open view of the chefs at work, a booth that gives more of a Japanese setting and another open area that may feels more of like a drinking/izakaya feel. The service is really good in the beginning, but once you have your food it may be harder to track someone down. You’d have to kind of flag them down since they may be busy helping other customers (just like any other restaurant). So make sure you order enough food so you won’t have to wait so long if you realize you’re not full yet.

Entire staff was friendly and fun and welcoming. Omakase was several courses, and each one got better. I forgot to take pics of all we had. Oyster, nigiri, sashimi, and soup were just perfect. It was my birthday and the Chefs son sang to me. Really inviting and engaging group, prices were so reasonable, we will be back for sure!

One of our favorite sushi restaurants ever. The sushi is amazing but what really sets this place off is the up close and personal experience you feel and see. It's not just fancy quiet chefs making sushi. They are very attentive to the customers and enjoy talking and joking around. I'll be back in April! 2nd time was just as amazing as the first.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants in Vegas! Their monthly tuna cuttings are an unbelievable and unforgettable experience. The late night vibes take me back to living in Japan and going to an Izakaya in Tokyo. Whether you order one of their omakases or a la carte, you will not be disappointed. I visit here often and every time I discover a new dish that is amazing.

I must say I was never a big fan of sushi. However this experience was mind blowing. The staff were all friendly and super informative about the various meals, ingredients and what to expect. One of the best dining experiences of my life, favorite meal was the Waygu 🤩

We’ve been coming to Kyara for years before their rebranding so mostly familiar with their izakaya fare. We saw that they still do that menu after 9pm and checked it out tonight. It’s a bit pricier than it used to be (what isn’t) but the quality and and finesse of everything was much higher as well. We ate a bunch of skewers (chicken skin is so crisp and all the fat was rendered out, tomato with bacon was also really good). The fried chicken wings were awesome (we had it with the sweet soy). Temaki were great (their fish quality is excellent; not surprising since their main business is omakase). There were some favorites from the original location as well like cabbage rayu which is my husband’s favorite. We went in hoping it would be the same as before (many of me and my husband’s first date nights were at Kyara) but were so pleasantly surprised at the improvements and evolution of this place. Excited to go back when next we have another evening off together.

Went for my husband's birthday. This was a unique way to enjoy sushi. The atmosphere was very casual. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The Omakase had some very interesting flavors. I've never had a meal like that and I'm glad we were able to experience such a place. Thank you for making the evening so wonderful.

Review 1: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a fantastic dining experience at this Omakase restaurant! The customer service was outstanding - the staff were so friendly and attentive, and they made the whole evening so enjoyable. The price for the omakase was very reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. The chef's selection was incredibly fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch omakase experience with great customer service, reasonable prices, and the freshest seafood!

My girlfriend was on a mission to find the absolute best sushi in Las Vegas so for her birthday we decided to try Omakase. What an absolute gem 💎 we found. Our dining experience was nothing less than stellar. 5 star? More like 7 diamond. The toro was so good and the skewers were incredible.. After we took a shot of sake with the owner his son was kind enough to bring out the most delicious cheese cake and sing happy birthday with us. Words can't explain how amazing our night was.. thank you again and see you soon 💗..

The tuna cutting event at Kyara Omakase in Las Vegas unfolds like a carefully orchestrated ballet, where the chef is both artist and artisan. Under the soft glow of the intimate dining room, the audience watches with rapt attention as a whole bluefin tuna, its silvery scales glinting, is laid before them—a silent testament to the ocean's bounty and the chef's forthcoming expertise. After the celebratory birthday sake pours, the chef begins with a quiet precision, his hands moving deftly along the fish's massive frame. Each incision is not just a cut but a reverent gesture, a respectful nod to the culinary tradition that spans centuries. He explains each step, his voice measured and calm, guiding the audience through the anatomy of the fish with an educator's clarity and an artist's passion. The blade glides through the flesh, revealing the vibrant red of the prized akami, the buttery richness of the toro. It's a meditative process, punctuated by the occasional gasp or murmur of admiration from the spectators. As the pieces of tuna are portioned, the chef invites the guests to taste the freshest slices of sashimi they may ever encounter. The taste is sublime—clean, delicate, and meltingly tender, each piece a distinct representation of the fish's varying textures. The otoro, with its marbled fat, dissolves on the tongue, leaving behind a rich, oceanic sweetness. The leaner akami offers a purer, more concentrated flavor, a balance of umami and subtle brine. The evening at Kyara Omakase is a carefully curated journey through the many facets of tuna, exploring not just the fish's raw beauty but its versatility in various preparations. As the chef meticulously portions the tuna, the meal transitions seamlessly from one delightful course to the next, each dish a celebration of the ingredient's inherent quality. As the evening progresses, the chef presents a unique offering: tuna soup. This dish, a comforting and savory broth, is made using the bones and other parts of the tuna, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. The soup is clear and rich, with a depth of flavor that speaks to the careful preparation and quality of the ingredients. Sipping the soup is a warming experience, each spoonful a comforting reminder of the ocean's gifts. As the final course is served and the meal draws to a close, there's a palpable sense of satisfaction among the guests. The diverse array of dishes—handrolls, kakuni, poke, and tuna soup—has offered a deep, multifaceted appreciation of tuna, each preparation presenting a new facet of its character. It's a meal that not only delights the palate but also nourishes the soul, a testament to the artistry of Kyara Omakase and the timeless appeal of high-quality, thoughtfully prepared food. The ambiance at Kyara Omakase complements the experience perfectly. The minimalist decor, the quiet attentiveness of the staff, and the subdued hum of conversation all create a setting that feels both exclusive and inclusive, a place where one can savor the moment in peace. In a city known for its excess, the tuna cutting event at Kyara Omakase is a refreshing exercise in celebration and reverence. It reminds us that true luxury lies not in opulence but in the dedication to craft and the celebration of nature's gifts. For anyone with a love for sushi, or simply an appreciation for the fine art of dining, this event is an unforgettable journey into the heart of Japanese culinary tradition.

I've been going since day one. It is the only decent sushi/izakaya on the southwest side that is open late at night. They do monthly tuna carvings, so tonight, the Tuna was exceptionally fresh. I got the Otoro, Chutoro, and the Akami was ridiculously delicious. I also got the cold soba with karage, a couple of chicken skin skweers, and a salmon ikura bowl. If you are looking for a good option off the strip or Chinatown, this is your spot. They also do omakase every night till 9 pm.

This hidden gem off the Strip is an absolute must-visit for sushi lovers! It’s a cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot that offers a delicious omakase experience. The sushi quality is fresh and staff couldn’t be friendlier! If you’re looking for exceptional sushi and warm, welcoming service, this is the spot to check out!

I must express that my initial encounter with omakase was truly remarkable. The culinary offerings and the impeccable service provided were nothing short of extraordinary. I love the ambiance and space as well. I am unequivocally inclined to revisit this establishment in the near future, as the desire to indulge in their delectable fare once again is undeniable.

Winston and his team are amazing! Such a welcoming and inviting atmosphere - even had his son coming around to thank everyone for coming. If that isn’t a personal touch I don’t know what is! The food was A+++++ and the sake and wine selection is great. We were able to taste a few different sakes with owner Winston which was a great experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Came here with a fried with 0 expectation. After having a bite of their appetizer, boom and my mind was blown. Oyster and branzino was amazing, never had a change to take a pic of it. Sashimi Platter was so good as well. You don't need to worry about the services, best of all I've ever experienced. Definitely recommend.

Loved the omkase options and yakitori made right in front of you. You are essentially sitting in front of the chef buying drinks for the staff and enjoying the food. Sushi is top quality. Delicious. You can build ur own roll with the sashmi or just not and... Eat the fish.

We grabbed a late-night bite at this sushi spot and it was honestly perfect. Fun, laid-back vibes with a real focus on creating an amazing experience. The food was top-tier, super fresh, packed with flavor, and made right in front of us in the open kitchen. You could tell they take a lot of pride in what they serve. The service was great, and the chef even came by to check in on how everything was. That extra touch really made the night. Can’t wait to go back.

I took my lady out to a birthday dinner and ordered the omasake experience. They informed us on each item that came out in multiple courses. We were delighted with the variety and complexity in each dish which I’d be pleased to experience again soon.

Omfg…..🤯🤯🤯 Question: Why is this place this orgasm in your mouth good? Answer: they got their nigiri on the top level… all the employees and the chefs are young and super motivated. They know how to make the fish taste good. For sushi it isn’t about fresh fish, it is about what do you next with fresh fish. Niki is the best server and she never says no to drinking except the whole month of January. I am giving 4 star for atmosphere cuz their music sounds 90s adult videos and every other ambience is amazing. Come here on a date or with your friends and you will leave with happiness in your mouth.

Girls night was a success at Omakase Kyara Sake Bar! ✨🍣 Seriously the BEST sushi I've had in Vegas. Chef Winston Matsuuchi is a genius! We did the sake tasting with the chef’s selection and it was the perfect pairing with everything. We tried the Ume ($88) and Matsu ($118) Omakase options, plus Uni & Caviar roll ($48), fresh oysters ($4 each), and surf & turf roll OMG. 🤤 Each dish was a flavor explosion! Well WORTH IT for the quality and experience.

We heard so much possible reviews and decided to try their Omakase (Matsu) along with their yakitori (skewers). This place did not disappoint from the food all the way to service. We sat at the sushi bar close to all the action. I highly recommend this place for a special dining experience. A hidden gem for sure, and we will be back.

The Omakase experience was a little different. We were seated in an alcove, with some other diners, with food brought to us, even though there was a barseating area. So, there is no interaction with the chef, which is usually part of the experience. The food was interesting and got progressively better through the various courses. I was worried when they started out with a very average salad. The barbecued/grilled pork was the highlight. Excellent. The sashimi was nicely arranged but didn't really stand out. The shabu shabu was served in a paper dish over an open flame, a first for me in the US. It's quite a unique/fun way of serving it and makes for a cool photo. The dish itself was tasty and filling. Overall a good experience, but a bit pricey based on what you get.

Did the Ume Omakase with family. We enjoyed the quality of the starters and the fish. Unfortunately found several fish scales in my sashimi and a half an inch long bone. The service, especially the owner was very friendly. More like a short kaiseki experience than a sushi omakase

a

Overall, Omakase Kyara Sake Bar is a decent choice. If I could go back in time, I would have opted for their a la carte menu instead of the omakase menu. I personally cared more about the nigiri then their appetizers. The appetizers were alright, nothing special and definitely not worth the omakase price. A la carte in fact may be cheaper and more worth your money if you just want nigiri. After our omakase menu, we opted for extra nigiri from their a la carte menu and that took over 20 minutes. Towards the end, the service was really slow and we had to remind our server of our missing food.

I
Iris Wan

The late night menu and skewers were delicious. The service was spotty though. Forgot quite a few things we ordered and the server complained multiple times about us being there…while they were still opened (?).

Y
Yi-Ching Chiang

The food quality here is undoubtedly among the best in Vegas, in my opinion. As someone who loves visiting Japan, I must say the flavors and authenticity remind me of dining there—they’re that good. However, the plating and overall presentation could use some improvement to match the high standard of the cuisine. Additionally, the service was average and could be more attentive. Unfortunately, the meat was too dry, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal.
