The food here is really good. I ordered a bit too much meat but I think the price is good with the amount of beef and Waygu beef I have. The server is friendly. I hope the vents could be a bit stronger for the smoke. But all in all it is a nice restaurant to dine at.
I'm not a big beef fan, but after eating here, I've completely changed my mind. They handle it very well. The beef liver sashimi, in particular, was excellent 👍. The garlic was perfectly ground, and since it's hard to find elsewhere, I ordered another before leaving 😆. Many people say the customer service is bad, but this is one of the few excellent ones I've encountered in the US. They really take their food seriously. Maybe it wasn't busy when we arrived, so we chose a walk-in on a Sunday at noon. Don't try to call, because when I called before, they told me they don't accept phone reservations.
Immerse yourself in the unique world of Samurai Japanese BBQ and Grill, where the art of Yakiniku dining is celebrated with unparalleled elegance. The refined sophistication of the atmosphere, the emphasis on quality and flavor of the meat, and the meticulous preparation all contribute to a dining experience that is truly one-of-a-kind. At Samurai, the service is not just impeccable, it's a testament to the expertise and passion of the staff. They are dedicated to guiding you through the menu, providing detailed descriptions of the various marbled meats, including the renowned Wagyu A-5 sirloin and the diverse selection of Premium 8 kinds of beef. Their knowledge and attention to detail ensure you don't miss out on the flavorful thick-cut tongue, a delicacy that offers a uniquely satisfying and intriguing taste. The presentation and preparation of the meats at Samurai are nothing short of remarkable. Each cut is carefully selected and expertly grilled, enhancing the natural flavors. The Wagyu A-5, with its delicate marbling, provides a luxurious and pampering melt-in-your-mouth experience. The assorted beef selection allows you to savor different textures and tastes, each showcasing the high standards of Japanese cuisine. It's important to note that this level of luxury comes at a price. Although the experience is undeniably satisfying, the exquisite portions may not fully satisfy your appetite. Quality takes precedence over quantity, and the pleasure lies in savoring each bite rather than indulging in abundance. In summary, Samurai Japanese BBQ and Grill is not just a restaurant, it's a destination for those seeking an authentic and refined Yakiniku experience. The exceptional quality of the meats, the excellent service, and the sophisticated ambiance combine to offer a dining experience that is truly memorable. While the bill may be significant, the journey into the world of Japanese barbecue that Samurai offers is an exquisite one, worth every penny for those who appreciate the finer things in life.
This is a cool place to check out. We had the premium beef boat along with some of the A5 Wagyu meats. The quality of meats is definitely there. They all tasted great (even without seasoning on it). We also ordered some of the sides and they were great - especially the shishito peppers, garlic fried rice, and mushrooms. The overall experience here was great and the staff were super friendly.
Everything is so good here. The A5 sampler never disappoints, the rib fingers are 🔥 and the motsu nikomi is always a hit. The table made fried rice is a cool experience ask for Yuta.
Probably one of the best Japanese BBQ places off the Strip, the meats are fresh and tender. The staff are super nice and very polite to us. You could easily feel the smoke in your face if you’re sitting against the wall, upgrading vent system could be the plus. Overall, this is a must-try place if you’re looking for fresh grilled food and an authentic Japanese vibe!
What a wonderful experience. We got the 2 person washugyu meal plus cold noodles and it was actually enough for the two of us. I felt I got to appreciate each cut and compare the different textures and flavours. The marbling on the meat was also beautiful. We tried to grill the meat from least fatty to most fatty 😋. I really enjoyed this off strip experience! Would I come back - yes, would I recommend to friends visiting Vegas - yes!!
Quite impressed with the meat quality and variety as well as great service. I wish we had such a Yakiniku restaurant in SF Bay Area like this place. I went with a group of Japanese journalists and they were all quite impressed with the quality of each meat and how they are prepared. I would say it is as good as A- class of Tokyo top end Yakiniku restaurants. Especially I am impressed with the variety of beef tongue as well as Harami. Try them all, and you would not get disappointed. Also I love that they have some fresh Horumon too which is rare in US. And one more thing - great deserts!
AMBIENCE: Cozy atmosphere, lots of wood and the walls are painted black. For me personally, it's easy on the eyes & didn't feel overwhelming. FOOD: Ordered the 8 Kinds Premium for 2. My personal fav piece was the rib finger, the most tender out of the selection I ordered. The assorted veggies were fresh & like Shrek, I loved the onions lol The almond pudding was nice, sweet & subtle. Another great to end your meal is to get the Creme Brulé Parfait! Absolutely the best desert I've ever had! OVERALL: 5/5 for the quality of service I got here! Staff was attentive & made sure to explain the menu & provide suggestions. Also they've got those fancy toilets that keep the seat warm! How do I know? Because I'm lactose intolerant & ate the Creme Brulé Parfait which had ice cream in it!
This restaurant is such a hidden gem. Service was excellent. Came here today for the first time to celebrate mothers day, everything was perfect. My mom was very happy :) thank you so much!
Best Japanese BBQ in town! Did the premium meats and tried out the Abalone. The meat cuts were perfect and tasted great off the bbq. The Abalone was very tasty too. Grilled for a few seconds made it perfect. Tried the Yuzu Aladdin sake and highly recommend if you love citrus flavor. Service is great! The staff is very friendly and take care of their guests. I am going to be a repeat customer. Definitely give it a try!!
The meat quality is small but very premium. I guess there’s not much to say about this restaurant other than their meat quality. If you’re the type of person who likes AYCE Korean BBQ where you can get all meat and food you want and the meat is marinated with seasonings, then this restaurant might not be for you. The meat is not seasoned here, all fresh. And this is not a AYCE place so you will probably get a limited portion of meat. Anyway, I like it and I think it’s worth the money
Samurai BBQ was one of the best yakiniku experiences I've had. It was great getting the sampler as we got to try some cuts we haven’t had before. The culotte, short rib, thick cut beef tongue, rib finger, and hanger strip were the best. I don’t recommend getting the uni bibimbap because the uni gets overcooked and the flavor basically disappears. I absolutely recommend getting the liver sashimi and slightly searing it for more texture and flavor. The service was fantastic on top of it all.
This is Japanese BBQ in luxury sense. Real A5 wagyu, tontoro small order gave best way to sample more cuts. The dessert too complete the meal with 110% satisfaction. Note... they usually dont take same day reservation nor walkin. But they accomodate me as a traveler a 2pm table. I appreciate that.
Delicious bbq and dessert, very friendly staff , they always busy so if you go expect to wait, we when on a Tuesday and wait 1H and 25 minutes. But it was worth it. They only allow 90 minutes to eat for table and no to go left overs.
Everything tastes amazing with a really reasonable price. We enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend❤️🔥(the parfait is a must-have too:)
Got the boat. Taste just like how it was presented amazing
The Wagyu is awesome! Highly recommand the wagyu sushi! The veges are expensive.
All the beef in the premium boat tasted great especially thick beef tongue. Price is reasonable ($62 for two). You can also add any meat (2pieces) you like for several dollars. The sea urchin bibimbap was also delicious.
It’s a really good restaurant, really good service, when you step into the restaurant, you seemed come to Japan. Every staff there is very helpful and love their job so much!
Awesome food and wonderful place for dinner with friends. If you're starving and want some fun, very welcome to this place. Please see my photos with details. Highly recommended.
They have pretty good quality meat, and we enjoyed everything we had. One thing to note is that the portion is not too big.
Fresh quality beef at reasonable prices .I am not a big fan of too much grilled meat , yet I have to say if you love beef , you must give this place a try .
This restaurant is a hidden gem. One of the best Japanese BBQ places I have every tired. Wagyu cuts are great and same with the other parts of the menu. Friendly staff, Antonio was our server and made our dinning experience superb. Definitely be coming back soon.
Excellent food and service! So happy to have an authentic Yaki Niku restaurant here in Vegas. Highest quality meats. Best in Las Vegas hands down!
The meat is awesome! With good quality and the price is fair. Everyone loves barbecue should have try once!
OMG !!! What an incredible comfortable restaurant serving Incredible beef bbq. And the wagyu is a MUST. wagyu that will melt in your mouth and put your mouth into bliss !!!!
The bbq was great. The raw beef liver was an interesting experience. It is hot to eat bbq in such summers.
Great service and food. We tried the 8 kinds premium, uni bibimbap and Samurai salad. Enjoyed all 3!
This place was exceptional! My family and I were greeted by Chieko where her and the other staff working that evening were so gracious and attentive. It really made our dining experience so fun. The food was also amazing and the wagyu was nothing I've ever experienced.
Solid 5 stars! High quality wagyu beef and great service. Worth the money.
There are good beef as amazing. You have to try it and the platter there 42 or three is fantastic also hundred dollars
Gotta make sure to make reservations as it gets fully booked quickly. It’s a small space but their meats and services are top tier.
Popular sushi restaurant. Limited plant based options.
Really good food and service here. Drink is a bit too sweet. The snow crab bibimbap is my fav.
What an exceptional a quantity taste experience, I felt like I was in old Tokyo there for a second. All the wonders of delicious barbecue mixed with the flavors and autism craftsmanship of Japanese experts. Really glorious. Makes Beniha and look obscene by comparison.
Their beef were all in a great quantity I have to go there every time when I go Vegas
Good place to have some Japanese BBQ. Portions are small. Can get pricey quickly.
Among the assorted meats, the wagyu chuck flap was the best one, others are not juicy or tender enough. Beef bibimbap and garlic rice are tasty.
Enjoyed the quality meat very much even though the prices are a bit on the high side. Draft Sapporo beer served but the sizes (8 & 15 oz) are probably less than published in the Menu. The meat used is "和州牛" which is a cross-breed between the Japanese Wagyu and US black Angus.
Great place to try out. It is a affordable authentic Japanese restaurant to go. And big selling point is Japanese waygu. If you are big fan of Japanese waygu, it is a must go place. But the mushroom overall is way too salty for me. Hopefully that can be improved, when I come next time.
This Japanese BBQ spot was ok. While the cuts of meat looked beautiful and were presented nicely, they didn’t deliver on the tenderness and softness I expected. 1/2 the selection was a little chewy. The dipping sauces were also ok. The garlic sauce was almost like water. On the bright side, the service was great and the pricing wasn’t too bad. But overall, the experience felt average.
Experience and the staff were both great. The meat selection was ok and not the best tasting or selection. We even had the 8 premium meat selection. The bibimbop was really delicious. We also enjoyed the cold noodles. Overall experience was great. Dessert was also worth getting.
I was really disappointed with this restaurant. The food was just average and the meat quality felt mediocre — definitely not as amazing as many reviews claimed. The service was also quite poor and really affected my mood. From the moment we walked in, the staff kept emphasizing rules like not bringing in any outside food or drinks, and even started clearing our dishes before we were finished. It felt like they were policing everything instead of letting us enjoy our meal. I honestly didn’t feel like a guest here at all, more like I was being controlled the whole time.
I personally experienced a bit a racial profiling when I visited this place. The host was sure to go over all of the rules on bringing your own food and drinks inside the restaurant, but only with me. The food was good but there was a constant smell of gasoline at my table even when it was off. I felt dizzy. Long story short, it was expensive and not the best experience. I will not be back.
Don’t come. Service was slow since management only had one server working most of the time. After we headed out, the restaurant chased us down and asked for a higher tip. I also heard from others that the restaurant changes tip amounts on signed receipts. The food was average—I wouldn’t say it was bad, but the whole tipping thing really freaked me out. I’m still waiting on my statement but for those who have been here and didn’t get caught for tipping lower than 18%, it’s probably a good idea to check your bank statements.
We ordered the premium combo, but the beef flank has gone bad. it tasted SPOILED and DISGUSTING. At the time we put it in mouth we notice it immediately it’s bad and we spat out. There is no chance that it’s normal. The chef didn’t admit it so there was nothing we can do. How can he smell and taste it and say it is still good?? Everything other was good, waiter was nice but that meat destroyed the dinner.
The staff had quite an attitude and were unfriendly toward us and babies. The restroom didn’t have a changing table, so it’s not suitable for families with young children.
Got there 12:18, there’s plenty of empty tables, told us the next available reservation is 9:30 pm. I looked on open table a week ago didn’t see any slots. Don’t waste your time here if you want to walk in.
We had a very disappointing experience at this BBQ restaurant. Due to a flight delay, we arrived 30 minutes late for our reservation and were told it had been canceled — on top of that, we were charged a $20 fee per person. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty with only one table occupied. It was clearly possible to accommodate us as walk-ins, but they refused. Additionally, they do not allow any outside drinks, including alcohol, which they claim is due to Nevada law. Would not recommend based on the inflexible policy and poor customer service
