Husband and I stopped here while we were driving up to Canada. The food and service were outstanding. Will definitely return the next time we are passing through. My husband got the Huevos Rancheros and I had the Aztec Quesadilla - both 10/10
Great little diner. Very big menu with a great assortment of options. Staff was very friendly and everything is reasonably priced.
Very good breakfast. Haevos rancheros was good.
Food was so good and they had the best brown gravy I've ever had.
Our supper at Dinertime was lovely. The service was top shelf and the food was excellent. My companion noted that the atmosphere was casual but not dinery.
A great classic diner experience. My friend and I love to go there to catch-up and talk. The food is great and the waitstaff is top-notch. I have been there many time and I plan on coming back.
So just a great place to have comfort food. Waitress was wonderful. Atmosphere is classic diner, as are portions.....huge! Prices are reasonable. Good value for your money.
Everytime I come here it's always a good meal. Today was no different. I got the Friday special of the Southwest Steak bowl. It had steak, pepper, onions, corn, black beans then put in the oven to melt the cheese on top. Also with the special came soup, a beverage, and dessert. The waiter was super friendly and quick!
Doordashed and order and they forgot a sauce. They had the actual girl who bagged the order come and bring the sauce and apologize. So much respect and appreciation to these people 💯 the prime rib was amazing and the crab cake from the seafood sampler was phenomenal 🙌 love this place!!
Never had a bad plate. Monte Cristo on breakfast menu should also be on dinner menu. Needs melba sauce added to this dish!!!!
Very clean, huge portions, friendly staff. My husband and I are here at least once a day during a two and a half week trip. Not a bad thing in the entire menu. I loved the Skippy pancakes with home fries and so much more. Very conveniently located just around the corner from the La Quinta Albany Airport
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service despite the place being packed on a Saturday morning. All good things to say!
Hot open face turkey sandwich was delicious. Its a huge serving. Wish they including stuffing under the turkey but otherwise it was perfect.
Each had pananis...Brooklyn (pastrami & cheese) plus Portebello (chicken breast, portebello mushrooms & cheese). They were on focaccia rolls with fries, small coleslaw and a pickle for around $15. The food was very good along with the service. Restaurant was quite clean and doing a steady business.
First time visit. Glad we stopped in for breakfast. The Irish Benedict was perfect! Yummy home fries cooked just right. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. Looking forward to another visit.
Met a friend for breakfast. Both enjoyed our meals. Exactly what you would expect.
The Yellowstone Griddle at DinerTime is a standout dish, featuring diced bacon, ham, peppers, onions, and chorizo sausage, all topped with eggs over hash browns, and finished with melted cheddar cheese. This flavorful and hearty meal is a highlight of their breakfast menu, perfectly blending savory ingredients for a delicious start to the day. DinerTime's cozy ambiance and excellent service complement this satisfying dish, making it a must-try for breakfast enthusiasts.
Used to be many different diners. Went there as it's called diner time now wonderful had a hard time finding my Monte Cristo Victoria the waitress was awesome help me find it on the breakfast menu so we had breakfast for dinner I had the Monte Cristo with the home fries with her fabulous and the man had eggs Benedict with home fries. Great place great atmosphere Victoria was a wonderful waitress
Always a pleasure to have dinner at Dinertime. Generous portions and great service.
What a pleasant surprise! This was definitely NOT typical diner food - think home cooking but elevated! The portobello stuffed ravioli was amazing as was the pot roast dinner. The seafood bisque was not what I expected - it was more of a seafood stew with lots of chunks of fish throughout the bowl. Finally, the service was superb - Shay went above and beyond! Such a sweet personality and very professional attitude! We will definitely put this on our “visit again when we’re in town” list!
This place is great, been a half dozen times now. It's always fast/friendly and the food is on point. I was here for Father's day around 11:15 we waited 15 min and had the food in and out in another 15. Things were coming out of the kitchen looking incredible, a ton of props and respect to the staff, especially on a holiday.
Highly recommend the pancakes. They are homemade. I’m not lying when they are one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Fluffy, perfectly sweet and great flavor. Served with real fresh fruit too, not canned/heated up frozen fruit. Other than that it is a diner so it has tons of options to choose from. Coffee was good too. Server was great and got the food quickly. Definitely would recommend the pancakes.
Service was great, food was fresh and fast. It can be difficult to dine with toddlers and babies but our server was on top of everything. It has also been very clean each time I have been there (even before COVID) Keep up the good work! P.s. I forgot to take pictures so these meals were either mostly eaten or half eaten. The portions there are actually great- unlike what the pictures show. Update- still good! Prompt service with a smile :)
We were 5 people, the waitress was right there ready to take our order, the food was delivered fast and was just like we expected, price was reasonable. Our first time here and we will be back for sure.
Such a pleasure to have a waitress that knows how to waitress!!!friendly, beyond efficient and checked on us at just the right time. Thank you for a lovely lunch. Even my 7 year old grandson was happy 👌
Came highly recommended and I understand why. The food did not disappoint and the portion size are great. The service was spectacular. If you like diners this is one I recommend you visit.
Mostly always awesome. They're constantly busy, and for a good reason. My family will likely not go here on days when there is a big wait, like we did for Vday. There was an understandable 20 minute wait, as we were expecting, but when we got called in, my two youngest kids didn't get the kid activity paper and crayons like usual, and being young, they were getting impatient and didn't have anything to curb their boredom(we refuse to hand them screens at a restaurant). No big deal, we made do! Our waitress was visibly stressed(rightfully so! It was a busy day and like 11 o clock), but my daughter's entree, which was just mozzarella sticks that she usually orders, was cold enough for the cheese to not be stretchy. She only ate 2. All of our meals came out, except for my youngest's grilled cheese, so he was patiently waiting the best he could, while I waited with him to eat until his came out. This is totally uncharacteristic of this restaurant compared to our typical 5 star experience, but it definitely weighs in on our desire to go on a busy commercialized holiday type of occasion. Their food and service are otherwise perfect!
We had breakfast here again Wed 11/26/25. We go here quite often for breakfast. Always great food & service at this All-American diner. They offer a wide choice of all day breakfast dishes from eggs, omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles, etc. Even pies & cakes. Something for everyone. Family friendly, very accommadating to larger parties with reservations. Our server, Kelly O'N has been our server most times here. She is excellent. Always checks on us even during the busiest mornings. Breakfast were Monterey, Veggie, & Greek omelets. Served with home fries & toast (many choices of toast) From $14-16 is a real value for this quality. Open seven days a week 8am-9pm. Consistently great food & service. Highly recommended. Thanks again to Kelly O'N for your great service. Nick, Liz, & Peggy Albany, NY USA
What an awesome diner!! It was packed but had great friendly service. Decorated for holidays. Food was fantastic and exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait try some lunch and dinner options.
Such a great place for breakfast! I was impressed by the service, cleanliness, and the quality of food and prep. Whoever is the chef actually seems to care about presentation. After years of eating low quality diner food, this was really nice. Looking around, everyone’s dishes looked great, with big fluffy pancakes, thick French toasts, and nicely folded omelettes. All the ingredients appear to be good quality, not just the cheapest things off the food service truck. Even the coffee was fresh and had some flavor. Service was cheerful and prompt. I’ll make this place a regular stop and try their lunch and dinner service.
Had a burger and fries. The Big Easy was delicious and there were a ton of fries to go with it. Staff kept drinks topped off and wait to be seated was very short. Lunch for two, w/tip ( no alcohol): $40 Gave a discount for paying cash
Solid diner breakfast or brunch. Anything on the menu with fruit comes with the FRESHEST, most beautiful fruit around. Avocado toast w/egg is great, bloody Mary’s are tasty (ask for extra spicy!), toast and bacon is always perfectly buttered and/or crispy. Quick service, Coffee is refilled before you can ask. At peak times for brunch and breakfast, there may be a little bit of a wait but worth it.
A quintessential diner! Super busy but somehow still seated within 5 minutes. Clean and a very pleasant waiter. Menu is so huge, I had trouble picking. My kids had the chicken fingers with applesauce and the other chose the salmon. Love that they offer kids healthy choices! I had the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and corn. Not the best I’ve ever had but huge portion and considering I’m eating at a diner, it was just what I was looking for. My husband had breakfast meal with hash and home fries and finished it. Will absolutely return!
Dinertime is a perfect diner experience. Food came out hot and delicious even though it was late on a Friday, server was efficient & effective, not super busy at 9pm on a Friday so we were seated & served quickly. My Mac n cheese topped with 2 crabcakes & lobster sauce exceeded my expectations & I am very happy to report I have enough leftover for at least 2 lunch servings. My dinner also included a choice of either a house salad, Caesar salad or a cup of soup. The croutons tasted like fresh made & the Caesar dressing was creamy & flavorful. We are already planning to visit again and bring more of our family with us.
I had a good experience at Dinertime this past week. They have a classic diner menu with all kinds of offerings. The food came out fast and hot and the service was good. I recommend getting the steak sandwich with the grilled onions and blue cheese crumbles it was delicious. I’m not typically a person who eats fries but the waffle fries are the kind of fries that are worth eating alone. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious. The fruit also adds an extra layer of sweetness to it. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks!
I recently visited DinerTime and was impressed by their breakfast offerings, which were absolutely great—a perfect start to the day! Their French onion soup had a good depth of flavor, which nicely complemented the wings and mozzarella sticks—both were pretty good and definitely worth trying. However, the burgers didn’t quite hit the mark for me. They lacked the flavor and juiciness I look for in a good burger. Overall, I had a positive experience with the exception of the burgers. Would recommend for a solid breakfast or some tasty appetizers!
Had a great breakfast at DinerTime! The food was fresh and tasty, and my omelette was enjoyable. The service was friendly, and the diner had a cozy atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back again! A solid spot for a good breakfast.
Very nice staff. Our waitress (Andrea ) was very attentive to us. My guest and I had the pancake breakfast combo, which was reasonably priced. Great atmosphere overall The diner could use some cosmetic repairs, but I would not worry. A great breakfast was served.
Exactly what a diner should be - comfort food served with a smile! Nothing fancy here - keep your expectations in check. But it's all good and you can get breakfast all day. My husband loves the soup, I enjoyed the pot roast, and our server was lovely! My only complaint was the hyper-AC - it was definitely too cold for comfort.
This place used to be stellar. It's declined in the years since it changed from Circle to Dinertime. We stopped going but recently went back to give it another try. Still mediocre and overpriced at best. The quality of the ingredients and preparation is still sub par. Not bad. Certainly edible. Just not the better quality and good value it used to be.
Usually great food, amazing desserts, and they do CURLEY FRIES. Lol. Currently they have outdoor seating (sep 2020) under a big tent, so parking is a lil ...lacking. staff are wonderful. Full marks! . *UPDATE 4/2021* FOOD has tanked in quality, amount, and value. Service is still great, but after getting rubbery chicken one visit, fatty overcooked French dip beef another, weak pan seared pierogies barely seared or topped, and a slice of carrot cake that dwarfs in quality and size to what they did for years... I'm giving up on them. Such a sad shift to see *Update 10/2022* They are much better now. Back where they used to be though on a saturday night they were swamped/slow. Still aside from an eggshell in my pancake the western omelet n pancakes were good. We will definitely return there. Though I still really miss their cajun chicken tortellini alfredo. Painfully so. Lol. UPDATE sep 2023- Had a good lunch this time. Got the big easy burger (subbed out bluecheese for pepperjack and curley fried) and my friend had the fried clam basket(w/curley fries). Was all good though the "cajun spices" on my burger were undetectable. All in all still solid meal and good service.
Great place for breakfast. Good food. This time I got sat at an odd booth. Hard to get in. Also seated in what seemed to be an all kids area. Very messy and loud. Should have asked to be moved.
Great service, great "diner" ambiance... we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was inside. This is a one-visit impression and might get updated as we get more data points, but they seem to have an enormous and varied menu, and is hit or miss depending on what you get. I order an eggs Benedict at every diner I try, and so far the best in the area is at On The Hill Cafe. This plate had soggy English muffin on the bottom, spinach that tasted like it was frozen then steamed, water logged red peppers, tasteless portobella, and one egg that was cooked until the yolk was completely solid. Home fries also had large pieces that were undercooked and the whole plate was desperate for seasoning. We are very glad that this was not the only plate of food we ordered, because the other plate was a reuben and THE REUBEN WAS AMAZING. The curly fries were perfectly crispy. The meat was flavorful and juicy. Everything about the other plate of food was delicious, well balanced, and so satisfying. Its like the two items didn't even come from the same kitchen. We are so confused. So 1st visit conclusion: maybe they do griddle items well but stove top items badly. Maybe the cook at the stove was having a bad day. Maybe you should avoid anything with veggies at this diner, but go when you are craving a grilled sandwich. We have no idea, but we will definitely give it another shot. And maybe we'll order like five Reubens to-go.
The dinner kitchen crew is not as good as breakfast/lunch. Food is great early in the day. Four stars for breakfast/lunch, 3 stars for dinner or later. My last experience with service, which won't deter me from returning, was not great. The server was rude and inattentive. We didn't need much, but she hardly made eye contact and used as few words as possible. She came across as standoffish. It wasn't busy at all, or else I would have understood why we got the cold shoulder for whatever reason. I tipped 15%, which is the lowest I would tip.
I would highly recommend Dinertime diner. I had the garden wrap and it was delicious. I would recommend sharing the wrap because it was enough for 2 servings. Place was really busy, but we only had to wait about 5 minutes.
I've mostly had positive experiences. The friend I was with is super celiac disease ridden and was told that the pancakes were gluten free. The waitress went and checked with the cooks that utensils, etc. wouldn't be cross contaminated and she ended up getting sick. Very disappointing.
Nice diner, not crowded, but busy. The wait time at 9:30 am on Sunday, was 10 mins. The modern decor adds to the casual atmosphere. The website is very user friendly. Andrea was a breath of fresh air very professional and evenly distributing her attention to our party. Dinertime diner is not accepting gift cards.
The diner was fun but my food was cold. I had eggs, ham, home fries. All cold. I ordered Canadian bacon but got regular ham.
Ended Up Here On Accident But Wasn't Disappointed...The Waitress Was Kind & Kept Checking In To Make Sure We Were Good & The Portions Were So Large We Had Anuff For Another Meal To Bring Home. Also There Prices Are Extremely Reasonable!
Upon Arrival the parking lot was very full. It was a Sunday early afternoon, so that is to be expected. Entering, we were greeted right away. There's more room inside then it appears from the outside. We got led to a table right away. I ordered a classic breakfast. Scrambled Eggs, Home fries, Bacon and Rye Toast. My buddy ordered a turkey wrap. Food was served within 10-15 mins. Everything was correct and tasted great. Bacon was well done so if you're not into that just ask for less done. Bill came to little over $30.00. Not bad at all. Will definitely return
Great service! The waitress was super kind! The only thing is I didn’t like my breakfast, oatmeal was overcooked and too mushy. Fresh fruits were not the best selection of fruits. I expected berries. I paid too much for that.($17) For the supper it was better but Mac n cheese too cold and mushy. Expected a better portion of desserts also. Overall I don’t think I will return to this restaurant if they don’t improve the quality of their meals.
Visited this old fashioned diner right on the Latham Circle. We were seated quickly and checked out the big menu (that includes breakfast all day) and ordered with the friendly waitress. One of the items needed substitution but the kitchen staff came out and explained the options. Overall a good experience, and they have a very large dessert selection.
Typical dinner many options to chose however roast beef dinner gravy was salty. I ordered fish n Chips ridelicous amt of fries think was to impress. Waitress was well educated on menu an options, which there are many . The dessert case was impressive. I'd definitely would return when in area . Plenty of seating an parking . The establishment was very clean
You know how Vin Vin gives it up. I will be honest and transparent. We are 76 Diner goers and have been the last few months. However, we had wanted to try something else and also spread the breakfast going wealth to other diners in the area. I will say a few things, one loved the look of the diner, it reminded me of that old school outside but updated mid century modern inside. We had Marissa as a server and she was great and attentive. But waiting for the check became an issue and had to ask twice, but that's me being transparent with the experience. Food wise -- we had the DT combo which came with an omelette and pancakes. Omelette was good, pancakes were decent but not my favorite. I'm a bit of a pancake snob, so I'm particular! We also had the corn beef hash and eggs with rye toast. This is where it gets nostalgic for me☺️... The potatoes were ON POINT 🤤 reminding me of the diners I grew up going to, loved those. The hash was homemade and I love a good homemade hash so if you are a lover of hash then don't hesitate. Overall, I would come back and try some other items... There are tons of things on the menu a lot of which are homemade and to order so that is great! Whether you want to "cheat" on your regular, or make this your go to spot.. Vin Vin gives the okay! Enjoy and comment how you enjoyed your meal and what so I can try it next time I go!!
I was pleasantly surprised with my visit to Dinnertime. I expected typical diner food, boy was I wrong. As there is a menu diner food, it was cooked and presented excellent. One of the best steak sandwiches I have had in the area. Try the philly special.... 😋 Yum. I don't know how I made room, but the peanut butter cheesecake was delish as well. The staff stayed pleasant, busy and kept the place tidy. Well done.
Food was alright, service was wonderful. Our server was very kind and attentive. Food took a while to come out.
Problem with several delivery orders. Incorrect orders, someone elses order delivered. Final straw plastic wrap was in the mashed potato's. Too bad because their food isn't bad when done right. Will never order from there again.
First off I must say that this location is in a great area, right off Route nine by the roundabout. Great attraction if you’re trying to stop in and get a quick bite to eat. What I will say however is the food is “meh”. The pancakes seemed off. The coffee tasted somewhat burnt maybe it was too strong? The eggs were perfect though. I may stop back for lunch probably not. This place has potential.
Quality and quantity of food was excellent but seating was very uncomfortable. Booths were very tight. I'm not overweight but felt claustrophobic.
Server was friendly, but didn't come around too often. Ordered my burger med/well. Came out med/rare. Onion rings were awesome! 3 others in our party said food was good other than the broccoli being under cooked.
We decided to have lunch at DinerTime after shopping. My sister ordered the meatloaf sandwich which tasted good although a bit dry. It had sidings of coleslaw and dill pickles. My brother in law had the Diner Deluxe which was a Hamburger Sandwich which he chose to have cooked all the way through, French Fries and Onion Rings. He said the hamburger is good but not moist. I ordered the Steak and Eggs which comes with home fries and toast. The steak was bland and lacks flavour, the home fries was good. There were a lot of choices in the menu and portions are big. Customer service is excellent and price is reasonable.
We decided to try this place out, despite a super long wait on a Sunday morning. Kind of disappointing as far as diner food goes, and I've been to a lot of diners. The bar is low but somehow this missed the mark. It could have been the brunch rush resulting in lower quality plating, but the taste of our eggs benedicts was just "meh." The egg were poached to perfection, though, and the service was exceptional. In the end, there was lipstick on my mug, the coffee tasted bland, and my husband got food poisoning being the only thing he ate all day.
Our waitress was wonderful and that's the only good thing I have to say. Pastrami was tough, homefries were mushy, bacon was not cooked to order, my granddaughters waffle with ice cream was really good. I don't like complaining to wait staff about food but our server did replace my raw eggs. She was friendly and very attentive. We will come back when in the area and try something different.
Went there hoping for a nice, dinner experience... I ordered the fried pork chop with Mac and cheese... My pork chop has a piece of plastic inside the breading. my mom's tacos and rice were mushy and the rice was definitely from a box... My brother's soup was just boiled water... Overhead someone else say their soup was bad... I immediately lost my appetite... The manager came a comped our food and offered free dessert which we politely declined... Staff were very nice but our experience was terrible... We won't be coming back.
The broccoli was old and forgotten about. I fed it to my dog. The Huevos Rancheros was bad. Sad, canned ranchero sauce atop overcooked eggs and bland chorizo. The refried beans were 4x refried and the rice reminded me of the MREs I had in Lebanon, suffice it to say this was not good rice. The worst part was the coffee. Diner coffee should never taste like it’s been sitting on the burner all weekend in the Jiffy Lube waiting area. It was acrid, burnt to shit and honestly scary nasty. Maybe it’s a bad day, or maybe it’s just the standard. But I won’t ever risk finding out because it’s just that gross.
Huggggge menu for a diner and many choices which was weird and overwhelming. I had the panini and it was ok. Meat was cold and cheese wasn’t melted. Service was ok although they were busy. The coleslaw was my least favorite. It’s straight sugar and not how it should taste. Coffee tasted burnt though. All in all a decent place to grab a quick bite.
Ive gone here many times and the food is basic but good and with fair portions. Today I found a fly baked into my waffle. Right on top, plainly half sunk into the waffle. Honestly seeking a contact by management to set this right as I dont want to have call them and deal with this during their dinner rush. Pics below
I’ve been coming here for a few years. The list of everything I will never order again is growing. Quality has definitely gone downhill. The omelettes are still good, but burgers, sandwiches, wings, nachos and most of the entrees were very disappointing.
Walked in and right back out. First off the smell of a public restroom hits you in the face. Then they have a obvious bug issue. There was flies all over the ceiling and when brought back to our seat(next to the soda machine) the entire back of the booth was covered in tiny bugs. At first I thought it was food but once I slapped the booth they were flying all over. Told the host and instead of acting shocked all she said was do you want a different seat!! I'm thinking if the inside is like this I can't imagine your kitchen. We left and went to Exit 8a. We've been here before and always enjoyed it but last couple times have turned us away.
Ordered take out, missing items and gave me black burnt toast. Charged $20 for an omelette that looks like trash and barely any eggs or toppings I asked for. No cheese, the tiniest pieces of bacon and like .3 mushrooms. Will NEVER order from here again.
Last time we ate here, the lettuce in the salads was brown and not fresh. We thought to give Dinertime a second chance. Same experience this time. What drew me over the top was when they told me it is warm outside, so it was though for them to keep everything fresh. It is 40 degrees today!! Cannot recommend this restaurant...apparently, especially not when it gets warmer.....
Worst coffee I ever had. Tasted burnt, strong and old. Asked for another cup thinking it was just that. Second cup no better. I had to switch to iced tea to finish my breakfast.
Just had the worst Custer service experience. I ordered a large breakfast via DoorDash. The breakfast arrived the the bag contained the wrong food but the right receipt. So the error occurred at the Diner. I called and explained the situation what sounded like a young man. His response was “I’ll tell the manager”. Nothing else. I suggested he out the manager on the phone and after a few minutes a woman named Trista got I the fine and suggested two possible remedies. I can either request a refund through DoorDash, even though it wasn’t their mistake. Or, I could request they remake my breakfast and then pick it up. I explained that I couldn’t drive. I was out in hold for 5 minutes and Trista came back and informed me that she was on with DoorDash requesting a refund for me. I asked how I would be notified if it was granted and she said I’ll receive an email. I also asked how they would remedy the situation if it was it granted a refund and she dismissed that possibility. I also reminded her that I am still without my breakfast at which point her response was “sorry”. Nothing else! That will be the last time I ever order or go to Diner Time!!
Just stopped here with my daughter after not having been here for over 20 years. It will be more than 20 after this. Corned beef was tough on the Ruben that was warm at best served with cold fries. My daughters fish was over cooked and mushy. When I told our waitress about the cold food she said sorry and walked away. I repeated my concerns to the hostess who clearly couldn't care less. I received a full bill but I've never not tipped in my life, until tonight. Did I mention the flies?
Ruin my whole order of a simple sandwich, brought it in the back to fix it and came back and served me an even bigger mess than it was with a torn wrapper.. Very pissed off. Those girls those girls definitely DID NOT care about my order. Careless workers sub par service/cooks for an American Diner. Saw one of the girls make a drink with whipped creams on top and lick the extra whip cream off her fingertips instead of wiping with a cloth and continue to handle drinks/food. Very disappointed.
Update-- January 12: I received a note from the owner apologizing for his delay in responding to our concern. He said they dropped the ball and offered to pay for my next meal. Glad they replied, though belatedly. We will go back and cross fingers that this was a one off situation. January 1st- I sent the following email Dinertime with NO response. Things can happen at any business...but not acknowledging in any manner that we were served basically raw shrimp is the reason why we are posting this. Businesses that care about their customers at least recognize when there is a problem and try to make it better: Hello, we are customers who have been coming to the Diner Time restaurant since you opened. We have come as a couple, we have brought or met friends, and we bring family. Overall, we’ve been satisfied with our visits. The food and service have been reliably good/decent. Tonight, however, was a disappointment. We recognize that very few restaurants were open today, New Year’s Day. As a result, your dining room was very busy. Despite that, our server was very pleasant and took good care of us. The problem? Unfortunately, it seems that the kitchen was rushing to get all the orders taken care of. My lasagna arrived, barely warm…. As if they didn’t leave it in the oven or whatever heating device long enough. Tasted good, but I decided it would taste much better if I took it home and heated it up properly. So most of that came home with us. More importantly, my husband got the Fried Seafood platter. The fried fish and clams were good, the crab cake mushy and tasteless. The coconut shrimp was crispy and brown on the outside, but the shrimp inside was undercooked. Translucent and almost slimy. Both of us tried a different one of the 3 shrimps and both weren’t cooked. We packed up leftovers (leaving the shrimp) and ordered dessert (very good red velvet cake). When our server brought us dessert, we did inform her of the cold lasagna and undercooked shrimp and asked that she inform the kitchen. Shortly after we got home, both of us got sick to our stomach, husband with very bad diarrhea. Couple of thoughts… when we mentioned the problem, it would have been appreciated if someone.. ie the manager on duty or one of the kitchen staff apologized and perhaps comped the dessert or something. It would also have been helpful to hear that care would be taken to prevent this in the future… ie especially undercooked seafood. We do appreciate you being open on the holiday but hope that you can avoid negative problems like this happening again, especially related to food safety. Sincerely, R Rosette
