A historic, casual, yet trendy atmosphere, with an outdoor garden where you can enjoy excellent pizza, and to top it all off, friendly, smiling staff. Excellent value for money.

Good, homemade food. Doesn't have view to the lake, but feels really good without it. Most of the visitors are locals so they really understand where to eat so I trusted them. Prices are really cheap, atleast two times cheaper then next to lake.

This review is written with a hint of nostalgia. I frequented this place when I was between 18 and 20, and seeing it again today, at 41, was like taking a trip back in time, but without the pleasure of discovery. Unfortunately, time seems to have stood still here, not in the positive sense of "retro charm," but in that of a lack of renewal. The Atmosphere and Management (Unchanged and Tired) The striking thing is that **the place hasn't changed a thing in over twenty years**. What was once a lively meeting place, full of youth and energy, now appears tired. The tables are manned by young waiters, but their number is significantly lower than the flow of customers and the number of tables. The result is very slow, rushed, and casual service, which takes away all the pleasure from dining. The Outdoor Experience: Dining in the Dark We opted for the outdoor tables, but the experience was disappointing. The lighting is dim and inadequate, practically forcing us to dine in the dark. The discomfort was compounded by the fact that, despite having a very small dog with us, we were confined to a dark, outdoor corner specifically designated for pet owners. This unwelcoming arrangement made us feel unwelcome. The Pizza: Cheap, but Lacking Character The pizza is priced fairly and reasonably, suggesting an affordable option. However, the quality suffers significantly. The pizza is thin, lacks a crust, and the ingredients are of average quality. Not a disaster, but far from memorable or up to par with the newer offerings in the city. It's a "historic brewery" pizza, but these days, we expect more even from a place like that. The Gambling Episode (The Most Disturbing Moment) While we waited for our pizza, my 11-year-old son and I innocently played cards with a deck of Uno, an interactive way to pass the time, much better than staring at a cell phone. After a few minutes, the head waiter came to our table to tell us peremptorily that "gambling is not allowed." Shocked by the comparison, I tried to explain that it was a completely harmless children's board game. She refused to listen to reason, ordering us to stop. This episode demonstrated a rigidity and lack of common sense that truly ruined the evening. Conclusion: Nostalgia Is Not Enough This pizzeria and brewery thrives on the memories and name it built twenty years ago. Today, however, it has failed to renew itself in terms of service or quality. Between the rushed service, eating in the dark, the lack of dog-friendly service, and the absurd censorship of a harmless card game, the experience was completely negative. I wouldn't return. It's a real shame to see a place with such historic potential reduced to tired and dated service.
