Killa spot. Interior design is immaculate . The coffee, spectacular. Everything screams and tastes art. Owner is a doll of a darling spirit. Good human, good bariSTARS. I live in Snohomish, WA but frequently stop here whenever in W Seattle. The sista spot in SODO is also rad.

Great people who make great drinks!! My white pistachio matcha drink was A-mazing!! The toffee butter macchiato was super delish too! I’ll definitely be back! Check it out if you dare to bare the lines!

Tried their white pistachio matcha and absolutely loved it. It’s a woman owned business located on California avenue. The aesthetic is vibrant, which translates on their menu. They also have a drive through which is convenient for those that are driving. Overall, their matcha was delicious and high quality, which can be hard to find.

I generally get lattes here and it's always been the perfect ratio and it's really good. The service is consistently excellent. The space feels light and the art on the walls is beautiful. I've visited solo and with friends multiple times over the years and I've never had a negative experience. I love supporting local business with the two most important things I look for being kind/friendly service (not just to me), as well as quality of product. I've always appreciated having that experience here, thank you!

one of the best kept secrets in w seattle (“the island”) - - is a coffee shop with a drive thru right on California! Inside is a super chill vibe. Each room with their own theme. Plenty of space to do a little work or visit with a friend. ❤️👯‍♀️ IMPORTANT: they have two locations. The “super pink” one is in a stand alone building (also with a drive thru!) inside the parking lot of the Old Rainier Brewery building in Sodo. All of the baristas at both locations are super friendly and fun to chat with. Their drinks are super delicious and tons of variety. They also hace plenty of #vegan options for food and drink! Check it out!!

Really cool place. Under renovation but the rooms look cozy and have nice vibes. The menu doesn’t have prices on it. Small tables, would be great for catching up with a friend. Came at a slow time to work and got an entire room to myself!

My 2026 got off to a bad start this morning when I was walking my dog and decided to stop at my favorite local café, Lula, and was told the health department dinged them and they're no longer allowing in pets. Sure enough they had a new sign on the front door that I hadn't even noticed because I've been in there with my dog dozens of times over the years. The sign says, “Pets not allowed – it’s not us, it’s ‘them’” This really pissed me off. How dare the health department intrude on our freedom like this? If the owners and employees of Lula are cool with pets, pets should be allowed regardless of what the county says. If someone doesn’t like it, they have the right to patronize a different cafe. I don’t know what specific penalties the county threatened them with, but I encourage the owners to defiantly flout this stupid ordinance and go back to allowing pets, just like many other local establishments in the Junction are doing. I’d gladly pay whatever fine they impose out of my own pocket and I’m sure dozens of other pet-loving customers in this neighborhood feel the same way. Take up a collection. Call it a “screw the man” fund. This really sucks and in a free society we should be able to democratically chose whether dogs are allowed in cafes and not be under the thumb of some overreaching nanny state.

We had a rad experience! This is a fantastic latte spot. Our kids enjoyed the cloud room, both are lattes were richly flavored (dessert like!). We had the Salty Beach (like liquified salted dark chocolate) and the sugar free vanilla. Both had soy milk. Latte mixologists 😂 were kind and patient. I did have a straight double shot and as I’m particular about how my espresso tastes, I would avoid the next time. I can 💯 recommend the lattes. Hot Tip: DoughJoy and Easy Street Records & Cafe are a 30 sec - 4min walk away and worth a visit!

I visited this coffee shop two mornings in a row. The first day, I arrived around 6am when they opened and the two baristas were really nice. The second day I arrived when they opened at 7am. Music was blasting much louder than the day before. Lots of explicit lyrics. I would not recommend this place for kids. It is not family friendly. The only people that were inside the café, where two parents and two babies. I had breakfast burrito and a Matcha latte and it was $14. The vibe of this place must depend on who is working that day. all in all, I recommend checking out Hotwire Coffee across the street.

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit. I went through the drive-thru and was handed a drink that was leaking from the cup. Unfortunately, it leaked all over my brand new sweatshirt, my sweatpants, and even the seat of my car before I realized what was happening. This could have easily been prevented by quickly checking the cup and lid before handing it to the customer. Because of this, my clothes are now permanently stained, which is extremely frustrating. I hope moving forward there’s more attention to detail when handing out drinks, so this doesn’t happen to someone else.

They refused to serve me because I was naked and armed with a 12 gauge around my waist. Not happy. I think a woman has the right to practice her religious practices anywhere.

Cute cafe but not very clean. I was disappointed that all of their non-coffee drinks use pre sweetened mixes so I couldn’t order a simple regular matcha. So I opted for an almond milk cappuccino but it was made with soy; a mistake that can happen, but I won’t be returning regardless.
