Absolutely solid cuisine, great flavors, and good service. Sure, the parking lot around the place isn't in the best condition but don't let that distract you. Interior is very clean and atmosphere is welcoming. I know the focus is seafood but the micheladas, quesadillas, and fajitas are all great

Great food.... try the spicy shrimp cocktail - it's loaded to the top with a ton of shrimp and avocado, very tasty! Also try the cucumber water.... very flavorful and puts out the fire. I was so pleasantly surprised. The parking lot is horrible like moon craters, but get inside and you really feel like you are in the tropics. I had shrimp which were huge my lady friend had king crab which was good though VERY salty. The chips and salsa were very good. Our server had lots of trouble with English but one of the managers helped her out. Every one was very pleasant. Room acoustics were not great so it is anything but quiet. And a guy singing on a small stage to recorded music. He was loud also. We had a good time and good food. Price is moderate to high.

55 $ for 2 that alone was great. 1st time there, I had the red snapper in garlic, could use more garlic for my taste but very good. Wife had deviled shrimp also very tasty. Not much to look at from the outside but it was well worth it. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Waitresses were Very attentive and pretty. The blonde cashier is a model or should be. Food is always great, but because I don't speak the language, I have to point to what I want on the menu, but that's okay, the staff is wonderful and the owner is very friendly. You can't go wrong with the pure authentic Mexican food here.

Pleasantly surprised! Authentic foods, good service and very nice atmosphere. We ordered a fajitas taccos, breaded fish and fries, chicken fajitas and beef fajitas and they were all delicious. Price was also easonable. Strongly recommended and we'll be back for sure.

We ordered the Mariscos 2000 plate for two. The portions were huge and very satisfying. The plate had fried fish, shrimp, oysters and scallops. Along with a soup which had shrimp and fish.

I would have to say one of the best sea food restaurants in the Metro Plex. Service is top notch. Waitresses are really nice and cater to what you need.

Went out for the day with the bestie and her fiance and they wanted to take me out for brunch we stopped off at this place off the highway that's been here for a while, I've always wanted to try. I was absolutely pleased they did what they could to make sure we were well takin care of in our orders. They even threw an extra seafood soup in for us which was absolutely amazing The clams yum looking for a quick place for seafood this is the place. From what I am told they have mariachi bands there at times as well The atmosphere seems to just get better.

Food was excellent. I had the fried fish 🐟 and replaced the “salad” with rice and beans. I was honestly shocked with the flavor it was so yummy. Their green salsa was the perfect pair to this! Their homemade chips are nice and crunchy at no extra cost. The homemade salsa is yummy and warm. There’s salt at the table if you want to add more to your liking. We did go on karaoke night so if you don’t like it don’t go or go and pick the “patio” part to sit by. I would say that was my least favorite part but the food was definitely worth it!

I had low expectations for the oysters but they were pretty big and delicious 😋 The atmosphere is pretty cool. They have music playing and dj lights which give it a live atmosphere. The chicken Torta was a but dry but I guess I should have added some condiments. I loved the fresh ingredients inside. Their Micheladas were really good too! I'll be coming back to try other items.

My girlfriend and I love coming to this place, particularly because of the food choices. The food is always delicious and fresh. However the one thing that needs work is the music can be a bit too loud, its usually pretty cold in the building as well, and staff isn't the most attentive, otherwise this is a great spot. The micheladas are great and so are the snow crab legs.

The food was great and the staff is excellent. I didn't notice my wallet fell out of my pocket and the waitress mentioned it right away. 4 stars only cause they ran out of salsa and that was mostly our fault cause we showed up there close to closing time.

Picked up food for Father's Day. My husband, father and daughters loved it. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because my husband's fried fish was just a little dry. Shrimp, fish fillet (both grilled and breaded) were delicious. We will be placing another order soon. 🙂

Came here with super low expectations due to the low ratings, but I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend the micheladas, charbroiled shrimp and shrimp cocktail. My brother had the mixed fajitas and enjoyed them. Seafood soups lacked some flavor in the broth, but overall they were tasty. If you come on the weekend, be prepared for loud music :)

I will agree with another review. Food is great! Very flavorful! But music is so loud you can't have a quiet conversation. My ears are still ringing! Staff isn't as attentive as they should be but when needed they were available. If you are looking for good food no conversation, first date. Lol. This was my first visit. I ordered the shrimp cocktail.. It was good, cold and fresh but not spicy at all. 😔 Then I had a chipotle shrimp dish which was outstanding! I also had my very first Michelada and I LOVED it! My only complaint is the ambiance.. There are years of dust on what has to be the original decor. They could really use a sprucing/cleaning up.

Had not been here in a while and I'm asking myself why? the food is delicious, the manager is fantastic! I have to come more. I tried something different and it was wonderful. The one problem was then I had no room for flan.

Very good huevos rancheros. Very spicy: did not disappoint. Fries were ok. The salsa they gave us when we sat down was excellent, the chips were slightly stale. The fries were sightly plain and the refried beans unsalted (but that's ok). I would recommend this restaurant.

It wasn’t that welcoming.. Maybe it was the day and hour that we went but everything was missing a bit of flavor Let’s start with the Oyster platter.. pico was fresh and it could’ve been better with more flavor.. Next up is the Tosti-Viche - I was thinking it was okay with more salsa that they had in the buckets.. 4/5 on that one We also ordered Tacos Governador and Fish Platter.. they were alright. Like I said, they need more flavors and seasoning. If you’re in the mood for live music, this could be a good option, with the only exception that you’d have to come when there’s more ambiance. This place needs more spices and better house salsas to give their food some life. However! There’s a photographer that took our picture and she framed it for us. That was a sweet touch!- and yes you have to pay for it. Maybe I will try it again later and it will be improved by then.

Have a company function. The food was great. The only two things was the inorrect drink, that was corrected and because of the large party and limited servers the food was not a hot. Generous portions overall. The food was seasoned well. Delicious soups, delicious burritos and the staff was very friendly. I'll be back again next week and will try something else from the menu.

I can eat these deep fried red snapper anytime. Not a fan of the French fries but I did not have the chance to ask if I can substitute. Worth checking their menu, if you are into Mexican seafood and dining . I don’t think you will have an issue finding something to try and you won’t leave hungry since they serve big portions.

The service and the taste of the food deserve 5 stars, but this is not the place that you will like to take your family or your children specially , the waitress dress up so indecent that I was embarrassed to look at their faces, it seems to be that they are promoting their body's and not the restaurant or their service, it is very shameful. The owner need to make a mayor change on that. I love their food and service , but they need to have less body exposure. I will think twice before I go back to this place again.

They target market for this place is the Latino community and I'm part of it, it does have that nostalgia of the Mexican market marisquerias where you go after party hard all weekend and you need some hot and spicy seafood soup or a vuelve a la vida cocktail which is shrimp and other seafood. You can find all kinds of clientele from families with kids to singles ready to mingle, all the waitresses were very kind and friendly food it's ok over all its a good place for once a year. Restrooms need a lot of love.

It's a little too loud for me. And they had karaoke and believe me many people can not sing. The shrimp dish I got was quite tasty for the shrimp. Or they were more like prawns, very large and grilled. The price was a bit too high for my taste and due to the atmosphere I won't be back. Most people did not speak English there. So probably not a good place for english speaking people.

Food was great, but the waitress and margarita was bad. I ordered a double shot patron margarita and got the drink and couldn’t even taste a full single shot. The glass was half full and on the rocks so I would have been able to taste a full single let alone a double. I brought it up the the waitress and she gave me this annoyed look and attitude the whole time. Never came to refill the chips, or ask if we needed anything. I had to call her for the tab. Food was great but everything else had me leaving upset.

Mexican restaurant focused mostly on seafood. The menu has a wide selection of plates. I waited about 5 minutes to be seated but then after the service was cordial and helpful. I ordered the White Fish stuffed with seafood but it was just ok, I expected much more flavor and perhaps sea salt. The restaurant draws a large crowd and thus my guess is that other plates may be much tastier. Prices are competitive considering that it's mostly seafood

The micheladas are highly advertised but they were not that great. I tally liked that the shrimp cocktail had plenty of shrimp and avocado slices but the cocktail sauce itself was mediocre. Parents really liked the fried fish. The tacos were ok but I should have known that since since this is more of a seafood spot

Talk about a huge language barrier here. Our waitress didn’t understand English. Grilled shrimp and rice was really good. The tostados could be a little better. Should have tried the shrimp cocktails. Doubt I’ll be going back.

Good staff but the food just isn't what we look for when we go out. We came in with a big party and tried a little bit of everything. None of us were highly impressed. It was either bland or just did not satisfy the taste buds.

The manager was really nice. The server was not attentive and rude. My husband and I had never been there so we shared a shrimp cocktail and ordered beverages. The server seemed less than thrilled and was rushing us with the check. Both my husband and I fell ill the next day with stomach issues.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 6 months. We usually stop by on the weekends. The first time we tried it was so amazing we decided to make it one of our family weekend stops. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, ever. I'm not a fan of the lack of professionalism in this establishment. We were a party of 5 and immediately was told "just pick whatever table you want" which off the bat, bothered me. This could've been said a million different ways. We looked for a table, but none had enough seats, and we were left standing around trying to figure it out. The only table with enough chairs was dirty and after standing for a while, a lady came and said she would wipe it down. She did but very poorly. The food this time around was not great, it was heavily busy unlike any other time we've come but this experience felt like a waste of time and money on mediocre service and food. There was karaoke going on which I get it, it's fun however the music is so loud you can barely hear your own thoughts. Our server was not good, she was only attentive at the end when most of the tables were cleared. When we actually needed assistance. There was nobody to help. Another annoying thing is the bad habit of bringing out food for some people in the party instead of everyone's food all together. My family is particular on this because none of us like to eat before the rest simply because it's not in good manners. At the end, the check didn't come, I had to go up to the front to pay which 3 employees were sitting on a bench next to check out. One got up and stood to the left of me just watching while the other got the check. The check was $157 but she rung up $161. She didn't say anything and having the other employee so close watching pissed me off. So I paid, left no tip and got out. Seems like personal space is too much to ask for. I would've tipped if the service and food were good but with the asinine employees and mediocre food the place was undeserving.

Food was not what we expected, burritos were more like tex mex, torta was not what I expected needs beans more of everything. The quesadilla Shrimp was so tiny and expensive The tacos seem to be the best. We spent over 200 for 6 people, drinks were awful we left ours was awful no flavor, not coming back.

Just walked out, if I could give a minus on stars I would. We seat there for 15 minutes and watch the waitress walk by us 4 times. Not once did she make eye contact. What was wrong because we were a biracial couple. We will NEVER NEVER GO BACK. We just wanted to try your place out.

I made a reservation for 15 people almost a WEEK in advanced for my daughters graduation day. I show up with my party just to be told that a resevation was NEVER made and they didnt have the room! None of this was true. I had people fly in from all over the united states for my daughters special day and this hold up was a huge disappointment. We were told we would have to wait up to 30-45mins. Which we couldnt because we were on a time limit again it was graduation day. I may not speak Spanish very well but body language is universal.the Attitude when it was thier mess up was Unnecessary! One lady was very nice and tried to Apologize which was appreciated. But the HUGE INCONVENICE was crazy. Plans were canceled and my daughters lunch was ruined. Im highly disappointed. Please stay better organized in the future.

I gave 1 star, only because there isn't a no star rating. We used to eat there, and the last 2 times, we saw live roaches on walls and floors. The service is terrible, the waitresses are very slow. We ate lunch 1 time and our waitress kept sitting down and was eating with her family at another table, and we kept having to have her called to our table. Another time, we were seated, and it took 10 minutes to even get a waitress to acknowledge us, needless to say we walked out and haven't been back.

I am so annoyed by their services at this point, I have gone in three times now. I believe if you are not of Hispanic descent you get horrible customer service, I got there around 2pm on weekday for lunch and I get a waitress to throw me a menu and walks away for more than 10-20 mins just to place a to go order. The only thing they didn't mess up on was the drinks. As in beers and such. The place was ear deafening loud with their music, the waitress too an HOUR to get our food out, and not all at once either. They got my order wrong. They never refilled our drinks. They charged us wrong too! We had to wave down the waitress THREE TIMES to get her to give us our check, and that was a whole hour after we were finished eating. The food wasn't even worth the money. Then the waitress was rolling her eyes and being rude the whole time we were just trying to get water refills. Staff wasn't friendly at all. I had a horrible experience , Atmosphere was great what i did eat off my plate was delicious but SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE it took 30 min to bring us a micheleada and melted watery pinacolada Then they brought my plate out and rook and hour to bring my hubbys fajitas out . My plate was shrimp ala plancha my shrimp were chewy overcooked guacamole had no flavor at all, My guest ordered fajitas the chicken nuggets as cold thx goodness for the lamp that came with. Honestly NEVER AGAIN the food is very poor quality. Music was extremely loud all the time.

Horrible experience!! We went there to eat today. We got sat at a dirty table, waitress got upset when we asked if our table could be cleaned. We waited forever for our total. We asked the hostess that passed by and she was rude. We waited another 10 minutes. Still no waiter and no ticket. Hostess passed by again and we asked for the ticket again, she had an attitude and said that they was coming with ticket and that who served us and what was her name? My dad said he didn’t know her name and she didn’t even come back. Hostess said “obviously y’all got served Bc there is food on your table”. Just rude as can be!! The waitress didn’t even bring us our ticket, she gave it to the hostess so she can bring it to us!!

Overpriced, not that good, and mediocre customer service. My filet had a bunch of parts from other fish lodged in it. Absolutely DISGUSTING. I look forward to NEVER coming back here again. Lady at checkout with the red lipstick and glasses was very rude.

I order medium mariscos soup that had no taste of all. It tasted like been watered down. I will definitely not recommend this place. Or at least not this location at Forest Ln and Web Chapel.

I don’t even know where to start. They call this place authentic. I eat mariscos and this is the absolute a horrible place. For example the torre in the picture looks like a fun size and it’s 20$!!! The prepared oysters were so plain as well and the ceviche was plain as well. I could make it better hands down. Only thing worth a hell was the michelada. Never coming again

We came here for Karaoke on a Saturday night for a birthday at the request of the birthday boy. The singing and the water were neck and neck with each other in regards to ok quality. Everything else was very much lacking. The margarita on the rocks that were first ordered were way watered down to the point that even after a complimentary shot of tequila they were all mix and no bang. The cranberry vodka that was also ordered was all cranberry and no vodka. When it got taken to the bar to bring up the issue it was dismissed and brought back to the table. The micheladas were ok but were served in a huge glass made for at the very minimum 2 beers. After that botched round of drinks we tried some food. It was at this point that the "Mariscos" in the name should be removed for such a terrible attempt. I will let the the picture mostly speak for itself. It was basically thawed frozen shrimp that you can buy at any supermarket. The shredded stuff was supposedly king crab but it really looked like albacore tuna. It all lacked taste to put it lightly. If anything, come for the karaoke and preflight in the parking lot. Otherwise, stay away!

After asking to the person in charge of this establishment, we were surprised to learn that the owner’s nephew was not interested on listening to our comments about the size of the portions that they serve. Great Work from the servers since they were polite and offered prompt attention. We will be looking for a different option in the future.

First time stopping by this place and the last. Seafood is not freshly cooked, I had the fried red snapper and my friend had the seafood soup, both plates had no seasoning besides salt and pepper. Way over priced. Waitress lady made it very obvious to close the tab, came to the table 5 times once she saw we stopped eating, kept asking if we needed anything else, then she started clearing out the table and brought the check over. Don't expect decent service here, go somewhere else 🙄

Terrible food drinks were not made properly honestly a big disappointment ordered a paleta shot and it was thick and goey tasted like hot sauce and mango puree the king crab was over cooked and chewy idkw who is in charge of the people that prepares food but this is dangerous place to eat overall highly regret stopping here 0 out of 0 i was better off at a applebees and im being sarcastic

I had a very disappointing experience at Mariscos 2000. It was during dinner time as restaurant has almost zero customers..yet ..The service was extremely poor, with the staff showing no sense of ethics or effort toward customer satisfaction. It felt like they just didn’t care about the customers at all. The food was also a letdown—everything was over-fried and lacked the quality I was expecting. Overall, it was a frustrating visit, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.
