From the moment we walked into Malone’s, we felt welcomed. The hosts were inviting, friendly, and incredibly accommodating right from the start, which set the tone for a wonderful evening. Our server, Sophie H., truly made the experience exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations that did not disappoint. Sophie struck the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, making us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our meal. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The additional staff members who assisted at our table were just as impressive, efficient, courteous, and seamless in their service. Sophie and staff delivered not only incredible food but also an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-tier service and a memorable meal.

Awesome place to eat! Tons of food options. I got the cheeseburger, bacon and steak fries are the best! Dipped in bbq sauce! All you can eat bread and house made butter. Bottomless Lexingtonian salad also is great!

I had an amazing experience during my time at this restaurant. We had gotten into our seats at a reasonable time for a busy weekend since Keeneland was open. They had seated us and gotten our drinks and meals out in great timing. Even the bread and salad were amazing and held us over until we had gotten our food. I had gotten a sirloin with a side of fries. It was cooked perfectly. Everything is correct and delicious. Our server was nice and respectful to our crowd. He came to check on us multiple times throughout the evening. Very pleased with the customer service and the great food. The atmosphere was very relaxing and calming which made the experience better. This is definitely the place to go when needing a great meal. They are very good at timing and well mannered. I highly recommend trying out when you can!

This is a nice upscale place. Although it’s a steakhouse, we went with the sea bass which was excellent. Our cocktails were perfectly prepared and the service was very good. If I’m being nitpicky, the plating could have been better at this price point, but otherwise everything was spot on.

I’m a native Texan, I know steaks. Malone’s made one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. It was seasoned to perfection, cooked immaculately. A prime filet for $50 including a salad and a one pound baked potato is really fair. Nice to see someone operating with integrity. Even the Dr. Pepper was really good, and had the right kind of ice. I ordered a G&T with lime and cucumber and the bartender understood the assignment. Great bourbon list for my spouse. Great experience.

What a fantastic find! I'm passing through Lexington for the night and was looking for a great place for dinner and came across this gem. First, the menu had many selections from steak to sushi & seafood. I highly recommend the Lump Crab appetizer, it's plenty of crab for 2. We tried the sushi and salmon salad, both delicious. Our waiter, Noah, was very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing, clean. I will definitely be visiting again if I'm in the area.

Listen, no one makes better fried fish than Malone’s. Yes their steaks are fantastic and overall food is amazing. But literally, no one makes better fried fish. If anyone tells you otherwise they are a liar. Lexingtonian salad? Perfection, bread and butter? Perfection, fried fish? PERFECTION! Restaurant wise it’s better than most restaurants in Lexington. It’s better than Carson’s like way better. If you disagree then I’d really like for you to self reflect. You may need to realize your taste has no value and you probably think well done steak is best way to have a steak. You probably don’t have many friends either.

On Thursday, July 18, 2024 my husband and I had dinner at Malone's to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. My husband made reservations and emailed the restaurant to let them know it was our 25th. He requested a booth. We were seated at a booth and given a vase of 25 roses!!! Which was a wonderful surprise. Our waiter and his assistant were wonderful! They let us take our time and enjoy the evening! The food was spectacular. The strawberry stack (sorry, we didn't get a photo of it) is delicious! The manager stopped by our table (and others) to check on us! It was the first time in our lives we have eaten somewhere and made to feel so special! Thank you so much! You all went above and beyond!

Malones is the best and sets the standard for what all restaurants should aim to be. The staff is wonderful and the food is the best. Started out with the fresh bread and garlic spread. Followed up with the Lexington salad which h is a great combination of lettuce, bacon, cheese and ranch dressing. Topped the meal off with the Ribeye. It’s the best steak you can have anywhere. Will definitely be back.

Have just moved to Lexington and had many people recommend Malone's Steakhouse. Definitely worth the hype. Food was delicious, our server Sydney was awesome was a little pricey but it's a high end steak house you get what you pay for. The sushi was top notch as well. Will definitely be returning.

Everyone in Kentucky knows Malone’s and how it is one of the most premium restaurants to go to. They mainly take reservations, however, so make sure to book ahead of time! The dishes are pricy, but the food is consistently delicious and the portions are large! My fiancé has taken me here on many date nights, and I’ve brought him here for his birthdays! The restaurant is beautifully laid out with both regular and booth seating options, fancy lighting, two revolving doors to both enter and exit, and a nice bar. This location is directly connected to its sister restaurant, OBC, which offers more casual faire. Our servers were both kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I can tell they are at the top of their game working at a place as lovely as this! For appetizers, they give you a piping hot, large serving of bread and butter, which was good both times. We also got the Crab Dip on one of our visits, which was super creamy and delicious for dipping. We have also gotten their salads, the Lexingtonian and the Caesar, both which were fresh and satisfying. Each time for my main I have gotten the Chicken Linguini. The white wine butter rosemary sauce is seriously otherworldly and one of the BEST dishes I have ever had in my life, PERIOD. The chicken was super tender and the pasta was a perfect al dente. My fiancé got their filet mignon three ways and thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought the $115 Wagyu Ribeye steak for my fiancé for his birthday, and it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had. He described it as “meat butter” as every piece just melted in his mouth. The portion was also large, 16. oz! I had to make sure he didn’t go into a food coma! For dessert, we have gotten their chocolate chip cookie (a large, shareable cookie that comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and chocolate and caramel drizzle), which was melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious. It was free on my fiancé’s birthday! On our second visit I got their cheesecake with raspberry jam, and that was heaven! This place is THE spot for your fancy nights out with friends, family, and partners. I know we will be coming back here soon for more!

Malone’s is ranked nationally as a top five steakhouse for a reason. You must try the bottomless Lexingtonion salad, unique twist on a garden/chunk salad. Besides an obvious steak, the sushi is not a bad choice either. Service is always exceptional. Be sure to make a reservation!

The Mothers chose Malone’s for dinner this night. The restaurant looks top notch and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter Andrew was very attentive and attended to our every need. The menu had a great selection to choose from. The steaks were so tender you can cut it with a fork. The seasonings on the steak was perfect! I enjoyed the Moscow Mule and a pixie stick martini. It was my first time having crème brûlée. Our mothers were happy with everything. Awesome food!!!

Believe it or not but I was a first timer to Malone's. Everyone has raved and raved about the quality of food and just the overall experience at this restaurant. Well let me tell you , this place exceeded what I was told. I ordered the 10oz sirloin and it was mouth watering delicious!! The Lexington salad well I'd come there just for that. I can't elaborate on the desserts because the entrees were surprisingly huge. They don't skimp on anything and the waitress we had buddy she was on it!! Not pushyor bothersome, it was like she knew exactly when to come to the table. I will definitely be visiting Malon's again!! 10/10💯

My wife and I had a wonderful time on a last minute date night. Our server, Kyle, was absolutely tremendous. Someone that is intentional and cares about his people. I wish more servers were like, Kyle. Malone’s - you have a good one. Cheers to you, Kyle 🥂

Best steak I ever had and the sides were just as great. I don’t know what they do to that endless salad but you don’t want it to end. The server was attentive and kind. Definitely would go back!

My mother had her first experience at Malone’s, and she thoroughly enjoyed her 8 oz Sirloin and baked potato. Josh, the server, provided exceptional service, which significantly enhanced her overall dining experience. Oh, and she’s not even a water drinker but the quality of the water was so good she ended up drinking 2 glasses.. what a plus!

Food was great. The high top tables are pretty uncomfortable. My son is very tall and just couldn't get comfy. I would definitely wait for a regular booth next time. Our server was great.

Everything from start to finish was five star. It is hands down the best restaurant in Lexington. It has the best filet, salmon, and burger in town but you can’t loose with anything on the menu.

We came to celebrate our one year anniversary. I'd begged my lady to bring me the whole time we've been together because I'd been to one of the other locations, years ago, with my family, and it's my parents favorite restaurant. I didn't realize until we arrived that it was a different location. The bread and butter was pretty good. I ordered a pixie stick martini. That was pretty good. Our salads were great! The crab Rangoon roll wasn't bad, but our steaks came out overcooked. My lady sent hers back immediately. I tried mine. She decided just from watching me take one bite that mine needed sent back, too. So, she filled up on salad waiting for the new steaks to come out. They did bring fresh sides, so we weren't stuck eating the cold ones. However, the new steaks were undercooked (still bleeding). They were supposed to be medium well. I ate that one and it wasn't terrible, but my lady had to send hers back, again to be fired back up. That still didn't help. Part of it was over cooked and the middle still wasn't cooked enough. They were kind enough to comp the entire meal with exception of the alcohol, but it didn't make up for the disappointment of not having an amazing meal for our anniversary.
