Great fun. It’s a busy restaurant, so we had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated on a weekday afternoon. Once seated, service was quick. Had fried pickles and the cactus blossom onions with Cajun sauce. Most of us had steak of some sort.

Long line at dinner time, waited for 30-35min. Friendly staff and very efficient. Food came out quickly. Love the bread (fresh and warm) and the cinnamon butter. Steak was good, must try if you haven't tried the famous Texas Roadhouse. Expect long lines during dinner time but it's worth it.

Stopped by Texad Roadhouse in Richmond for an early dinner. We were seated promptly with a basket of hot rolls. No butter. Hostess said she'd bring us butter. Butter never showed up. I had the grilled chicken salad. My husband had a 8oz strip steak with mushrooms & onions, baked potato and salad. Everything was good.

I visited here for the first time on a certain day in January 2026. I ordered a glass of iced tea , a Combo Appetizer Meal and a Ceaser Salad. I was able to sit soon. But I waited the staff for a long time.

Your Personal Tourist

Our friend group usually eats out all together once a week. We all have kids so there’s about 12-15 of us and we’re sometimes a lot! TXRH is always a favorite of ours! My steak is almost always cooked perfectly and of course the rolls are on point! Our waiters this time were phenomenal! We split up and sat the kids at their own table next to the adults. The waiters never left us without rolls and we always had full drinks without us even asking! The lady that took care of the kids laughed and joked with them which was really nice of her. When we left, my 13 year old daughter said she liked her cause she was really funny! If you can win over a 13 year old girl then you’re doing something right lol! The guy who took care of us did the checks at the end. He asked who was on what check and he split it up correctly the first time! He did awesome! They both provided exceptional service! The manager checked on us at the end which was reassuring and validated the reason why he had such good employees! We’ll definitely be back!

Service and atmosphere were great! I probably should of ordered steak but chose the pork chops instead. Very dry, not much flavor either but quite filling. I had green beans and corn for the sides which were both tasty

The steaks were like eating beef flavored charcoal. They hide the steak with a charcoal covered grill. So, you don't know if you are eating the meat or the fat on the steak. The steak was black as black. They had a person that busses tables that need to pull up his pants.

We dine here often, 2 or 3 times a month. Service is always great. Servers are always nice and keep the refills on drinks and rolls flowing for me and my family. Last night the food was below average for my order. I had ordered the 12 oz ribeye medium rare when it arrived the first time it was over cooked and was just above a medium with just the smallest bit of pink. I sent it back and waited for another steak to come to be cooked. When the next steak came it was a bit closer to what I wanted this time it a bit more pink but still over cooked. I didn't send back because by this time my family was done eating their meals and I was so hungry I couldn't wait any longer to eat my dinner. When brought to the waitress attention for a second time there was no offer to speak with manager only to send it back to be made again. Nor did a manager stop by and ask us about our meal like I have experienced in past, this put me and the waitress is awkward position of me having to ask for money to be taken off our meal. These steaks are $20+ and although mistakes happen they shouldn't happen back to back on the same visit.

I love eating here and ABSOLUTELY love the Yeast Bread Rolls with the Honey Cinnamon Butter. Knowing that this place stays pretty busy it just seems like everytime My Girlfriend & I are here we are usually waiting on our actual food anywhere from 30 mins and even up to an hour which I think is ridiculous considering that it's a buisness that serves food it's always like this no matter what time it is when we go. It should never take this long when waiting on food but it never fails when we go though. It would be nice if they could figure out a different method then what it is they've been doing because it's just taking way to long but I know that if we wasn't ordering anything and just eating appetizers then we wouldn't get to stay long at all considering they come up to you and tell you that you have to at least order an actual Adult Meal in order to stay for a little while which is outlandish considering that this is place of Buisness that serves people food but by the time that they do get the food out to you your already partially ready to go and ain't gonna be able to eat much of what you ordered anyways because you've been eating Rolls for the last 30 mins to an hour. Even though they take forever getting it to you the food is actually pretty good. My Girlfriend ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwhich with BBQ Sauce and I had Ordered the Roadhouse Bacon Burger plus I added the BBQ Sauce to it as well which made it that much more delicious my Girlfriend eats her Sandwhich plan so she wasn't gonna use it anyways. We also got some cheddar and Bacon bit covered fried as well and they was decent to. So other then you having to wait so long to get your meal this is a nice place to eat every now and then but if your looking for somwthing quick then I would just move to the next place because you won't get nothing quick here.

We order online, frequently, from this location. Never a problem. Today, though...SMH! Baked potatoes were old and cold..almost brown! Had an Applesauce, it was in a container, with lid half off, outside of container covered in applesauce and grease, in with the wrong steak. Applesauce on steak, and the baked potato foil. Ranch cup, for the salad, was over full, and all over the outside of the cup. Rolls were not warm at all. Very disappointing, and a waste of money.

Service was outstanding. Atmosphere is great. I should have had the steak. Instead I had the catfish. MISTAKE. Three hard as rock little slivers of fish and the one was still raw and smelly inside the rock hard batter. When I told the waiter I was told “Sorry, I’ll tell the cook”. “Have a good evening .” Might have to find another family restaurant to patronize.

The salad was too watery. The chicken was bland. No taste to it. Onion blossoms were really salty. This is the first time I ever had this bad experience. Hopefully it will be fixed

My salad had a hair in it and I ordered my steak medium and it was well done. Terrible piece of meat and experience.

Spent 35 minutes waiting for a table just to be served raw meat even after we asked for well done. Not just a smidge pink either, it was straight raw in the middle. Server was fantastic though.

Normally when I go is amazing but this time my ribeye was so tough and dry I could not cut it with a knife and it was very very salty. I'm so disappointed because I was waiting for this all week. VERY ANGRY because now I have no dinner. I knew something was wrong when I was asked twice what my name was and I waited 20 minutes over the time it was supposed to be ready. Not sure i will go back to this one even though it's close to home.

10/10 disappointed tonight. Pickup to go order had to be picked up inside due to u responsiveness — bread bag ripped open due to moisture, very cold food — almost 40 mins of waiting for GD food!
