Great spot. Food was awesome
Nice little Mexican food place. I had the Al pastor burrito. The meat was cut up smaller but had a nice crispy to it. Chips and salsa we're good.
Very nice place. Clean inside and outside. They responded to call really fast. Good burritos, especially with beef.
Their food is delicious. My personal favorites are the Carne asada tacos and the super burrito -which is huge! The salsa is super good. Im gonna see if theynwill sell a container of it! Great prices too! Basic seating inside but there's also shady places to sit outside in the courtyard around the side. It's become a weekly tradition. I tip well, they deserve it.
This place completely meets the definition of a great hole-in-the-wall eatery. Please don’t let the humble location and unassuming facade deter you from some of the best Mexican food in the area. The food is just flavorful, authentic, and just down right good. Their tacos are so good, burritos just the same, but don’t you dare not try the enchiladas!
A little gem on a side street in downtown Lincoln California. We were going to some other restaurant when we said let's try this. What a pleasant surprise. Only 6 tables (4 in use due to covid) but great food at very reasonable price. And so.e if the best coffee we have had in a while. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. A nice surprise on a Sunday morning
Great food and very inexpensive. The taste of the food is top notch.
Everything is delicious here and reasonably priced. The ceviche is my favorite; hard to find fresh well made ceviche with fish. We’ve been cooking here 10 years maybe. We have used them for catering as well which I will do again. The staff have great customer service skills on the phone and for dine in. This is our go to for a Friday right night. Appreciate this little gem in Lincoln.
Food is good, flavorful and big servings. My rating for the service is for a really busy period but I can't give them a 5 unless I experienced it. The roasted chili oil they gave me is really good. I need to know what it's called!
Authentic Mexican food! It’s always fresh, and tasty. The employees are always kind and friendly, you won’t be disappointed.
Love this family owned business The food is so delicious amazing Authentic mexican food A+ it’s a must they put alot of love into the recipes.
Huge mission style burrito! Amazing flavor, incredible Salsas. Best burrito in Reno by far
My favorite Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious and the service always fine. No complaints.
This is the best Chinese food east of San Francisco. Real orange in the Orange chicken. Must try. The staff is the most friendly ever, almost like they really want your business!
This has been my besties go to fit Chinese food for nearly 20 years. Staff was kind and welcoming.
Excellent food, we got it to go. The service was great and relatively quick. There was enough food in one order to have at least 3 meals! I would definitely return, if I ever pass through Lincoln, CA. again.
Food was absolutely delicious and portion size is huge I had enough for dinner tonight and dinner tommorow 😋 honestly best food I have had from a restaurant in so long this place should be packed I walked in orderd a to go order wish I lived closer here on a buisness conference I will definitely make this my go to when passing through Lincoln next time
TL:DR: Eat here. Try everything on the menu. Ask for what you want (they can customize for allergies). #delicious Background: My wife doesn’t eat gluten or dairy (our child has bad eczema) which makes eating out hard sometimes. We’ve made Lincoln Chinese our go to place when we do go out, not just because they make every order fresh with so many options (like gluten free), but also because of the staff who make this food possible. Although we’ve only eaten take out, we are pumped to go as a family soon and hope to take a photo with the crew! Suggestion: trying to save on some calories? You can request your orange chicken stir fried and while it’s not the same as the O.G. It’s a really great health focused decision. Unrelated & silly: Did I place an entire order of honey walnut shrimp for myself knowing my wife can’t enjoy it? Yes. Yes I did.
Hands down best Chinese food within 30 miles. Been going to Lincoln Chinese for 20+years. Best Walnut Shrimp! Ask for Ping!
I was in the area and wanted Chinese food. The customer service was awesome..the woman at the register was so kind...it was nice to talk to her. I ordered over the phone general chicken lunch with the fried rice. It was 6.95. Served with steamed, or pork fried rice, and egg flower soup. But no soup for take out i guess...it did not come with it. The rice was good. I took two stars off because my meat was cold like it was sitting around. I ordered my food and came in right when they brought it out...it should have been piping hot...but instead it was cold. I do not know how this is possible unless they did not give me fresh food. The flavor was good...I liked it a lot...unfortunately cold Chinese is not good. Not sure I would ever go back. There are too many places to eat...
This tiny restaurant next to the Beermann plaza can be easy to miss. From the outside the exterior looks like a little house. But they are a family ran taqueria serving up traditional, classic Mexican dishes. Overall, it's a solid dining option when I find myself in Lincoln. The interior is smallish, with a dining area with about six 4 person tables and two 2 person tables. It's cozy for sure. I popped in for a late mid afternoon weekend lunch, so it wasn't busy. The complimentary chips tasted and looked fresh fried. Crisp yumminess without the oiliness. The red salsa was delicious; flavorful with a bit of non spicy kick. The cerviche tostada was fantastic. Yum. Fresh flavors. It was a bit wet though, so I put a napkin underneath to soak up the wetness to slow down the tostada from getting overly wet and falling apart. The cerviche tostada was $5.99. The shredded beef in the crispy taco had good basic flavor. The one item combo with beans and rice is priced at $10.99, two items $12.99, and three items $14.99.
Don't know about the food as we didn't stay for that but the racing seemed to be very well organized and the kids had a blast! There were different sized cars for kids and adults and races were either groups of kids or older kids/adults, they do not race together. Instructions and helmets are provided.
Its a tiny restaurant with pretty good food. Pretty consistent quality but I find the meat to be lacking in some places. Although I find it more easy to get Take-out just because there's like 9 tables so if its a peak hour it might be hard to get Dine in.
I’ve lived in Lincoln for 3 years. I tried every Mexican Restaurant in Lincoln 3 years back and found Los Gallos to be my “go to.” The food is pretty good and the salsa is really good. Except lately there has been a major issue. I usually order “to-go” and that is normally no problem. As you wait for your to/go order, you can see what people who dine-in eat and look at their order. Lately it seems the owner is really sticking it to the to-go customers. Look at the chips and salsa that a dine-in customer gets.. now divide that by 5.. that’s now what a to-go customer gets. I always thought that ordering to-go helped out a business like this because we don’t take up 1 of the 8 tables and we tip still. But in the end, taken advantage of I guess. Lately I’ve been going to Trés Hermanos. They have a salsa bar that is free with any order and the salsas are pretty darn good and you can get enough for your food.
This restaurant is in the heart of Lincoln and has been around for several decades. The staff are nice and I’ve never been dissatisfied with a meal from here. Personal recommendation is the Shrimp with Spicy Sauce and Wonton Soup but you honestly can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Get the Po Po Platter if you want to sample a bunch of foods.
Five of us went to enjoy this place. It was referred to us by a friend. We ordered the family dinner for $14.95 each. The appetizers were egg roll and fried won ton and the soup was egg flower. Our entreés were sweet n sour pork, cashew chicken, broccoli beef, pork chow mean and pepper beef. All the vegetables were crisp tender meats tender and sauces delicious. Portions were good size, we had reasonable leftovers. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. The reason it wasn't a 5 star review is we had to go up to the cashier to ask for to go boxes and we had to box and bag them ourselves (I'm not fond of dirty fingers when I'm out). They also didn't collect the payment for our check and we had to wait for 7 to-go orders to be processed before we could pay. They also left us sitting in dirty dishes and didn't offer more hot tea even though the pot was small. Otherwise it was a terrific place. We will be ordering from here for our Christmas Eve traditional family meal.
The food was alright. It was definitely not something to rave about. We tried tacos, torta, ceviche tostada, and flan. The only thing that was worth a shout out was the ceviche. It was pretty great, but everything else was just okay. The restaurant was tiny, so we felt awkward talking amongst our table. There was also no salsa bar. They did bring out a small serving of chips and salsa, which was good but nothing special. The prices were a little on the high side as well.
The staff was really friendly. However, I found the pricing for certain items confusing, and it wasn't clear if some options included sides. The Sizzling Chicken Soup had absolutely no flavor, but the egg rolls were hot and tasty. The chicken and broccoli were decent. I ordered my food to go and it came out quickly.
I came in during a busy time and the restaurant was full, but there was no signage indicating whether to seat yourself or order at the counter. A gentleman walked past me several times before finally acknowledging me and asking if my order was for here or to go. I said I’d like to eat there, and he pointed to a dirty table and said I could sit there and he’d clean it in a minute. I ordered a super burrito with al pastor (no rice, no pico) and a soda. After sitting down, I received a burrito that I’m fairly certain was not al pastor—more like asada—and it had a lot of pico in it. I still hadn’t received my soda, so I had to get up and ask for it, and I was met with some attitude when I did. When he handed me the soda, he immediately turned around and walked away, so I didn’t have a chance to ask about the incorrect order. I don’t mind asada, so I ate it anyway, even though I dislike tomatoes. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, I received the wrong order, and the service was not welcoming. I’m sure the food can be good since they have solid reviews, but based on this visit, I won’t be returning
Love the place so much. Love the food and the service. But I am so tired how stingy, they are with the salsa. Also note they close at 8 on Saturday nights. Stop seating inside at 7:30pm.
I don’t know what happened to this place , we had the veggie chow fun and orange chicken , the chow fun was terrible , the orange chicken was rubbery and extremely spicy , used to be a favorite , never again !
To order to walk in 20 minute wait... when asked by too many orders in front of you all call ins. Asked if they paid yet ? No, I'm standing in front of you ready to pay and you ask me to wait 20 minutes. Chips & salsa used to come with it in small amount it was fine. Now you must pay an order of 13.00 to get them now. Single person order one item is less than that....Don't give them your hard earned money for this kind of service....
Ordered lunch special with chow main instead of rice. They repeated the order back to me 2 times. When I got home with it there was no chow main, it was 3/4 full of rice and half the amount of the zucchini and chicken. When i called they told me it would be $3 something more that I could come back and get it. Said not paying more for there mistake, I have to drive back up there to pick it up. Then when I did it was only half of what would of been in the lunch special, the rice tasted like it had been old dud
This has to he by far the worst chinese restaurant i have ever tried. The food is appalling. The orange chicken is over cooker over batterd nasty dry leather belt type of material. The mixed veggies is overcooked mushy brocoli with raw onion. The brocoli beef tasted like 2 week old soggy beef from the rain gutter. Seriously disgusting food. Would not recommend we threw our food away learned our lesson
