Everything was very delicious. The service was great- friendly and fast. The challah was thick and tasted fresh out of the oven. Definitely try the Moroccan couscous and genesis salad!
מקום לקרוא לו בית. כבר בכניסה מקבלים אותך בברכת שלום ע״י מנהלת חיננית מאוד עם אנרגיה חיובית להרגשה ביתית אוכל באמת טעים מאוד ( וזאת המלצה מטבח טוב) ראשית המסעדה כשרה כך שאין חשש מה לבחור הזמנו מספר מנות פתיחה כגון כרובית בטחינה, כדורי פלאפל, ומבחר סלטי הבית. הכל מעולה מנות עיקריות הזמנו קוסקוס, חריימה, וקבב הבית על ירקות היה מעדכן אמרתי כבר :) אז אם אתם בליסבון זה המקום לבקר בו כל יום A place to call home. Right at the entrance you will be greeted by a very gracious manager with a positive energy that will give a homely atmosphere The food is really very tasty (this is a recommendation form a good cook man ) First of all the restaurant is kosher so there is no need to choose dishes that might be meat not kosher We ordered several starters with cauliflower tahini, falafel balls and a selection of house salads. Everything is perfect For main courses we ordered couscous, horima and homemade kebab with vegetables I would update, I already said :) So if you are in Lisbon, this is a place worth visiting every day
Fantastic! Very tasty and great service. I could eat it every day. Nice wine as well. You can tell the owners and staff take take pride. Fun and interesting location near an underground mall, and theatre with musicals and bullfighting. Lots going on!

We came to Lisbon for 2 weeks and ate here 6 times! The whole family loved the food here including the little kids. The staff was so friendly and warm, the service was fast, the vibe was great. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting! We are so grateful that there is a kosher option here or we would not have been able to come visit! Thank you Genesis!

This place was amazing!!!!!! We came here 5 times in our 2 week stay and we enjoyed each and every one of them. They listened to all of the bad reviews and changed it according to them. The food was so good and the service was amazing. It was very affordable for very good food. It is the only kosher restaurant in Lisbon, because the community here does not keep kosher so much and they don't go to kosher restaurants.
Such a lovely place, we had a delicious meal and a lovely night. The owner and staff are friendly and the food is of excellent quality. 10/10 and strongly recommended!!

We fell in love with Israeli food years ago in London and have looked for Israeli restaurants when we travel ever since. There is something about the combination of spices, yogurt, tahini, citrus and pomegranate that specifically makes Israeli dishes even more sublime. Genesis Lisboa did not disappoint! Located just across from Lisbon’s former bull fighting ring (now an events center) this family owned restaurant is impeccable. Every dish was both beautiful and tasty. Definitely worth the 5 stars we kept seeing in our research. Highly recommend!
It is the only one kosher restaurant in Lisbonne ! It is a little bit expensive but the quality is very good 👍

Une réelle ambassade d'Israël culinaire 😍 L'ambiance générale du restaurant est excellente et très propre. Le menu existe en Hébreu, Anglais et Portugais. Les propriétaires sont un jeune couple d'Israeliens, et la jeune femme cuisine elle-même !! המסעדה הכשרה היחידה בליסבון - מציעה תפריט פשוט יחסית של מנות ישראליות ועוד.. השירות מצוין והאווירה טובה! המנות עצמן קטנות יחסית למרות המחיר הלא נמוך בכלל. האוכל טעים סה"כ. מחירים לדוגמה - המבורגר (יחסית קטן) בלחמניה עם צ'יפס - 21€. שתי פרוסות חלה עם שניצל וצ'יפס - 18€.

Ordered food to go. The Shnitzel SW was super dry and bread stale. The Shnitzel dish was was also dry with close to no chicken inside. $$$$$ for what you get.

I don't know if we just got unlucky but our dishes were wildly inconsistent (one heavily over-seasoned and one completely bland). Disappointing given the otherwise good reviews.
במילה אחת מזעזע ביותר מילים פרגית עם כף וחצי ש"ך אורז כולה לא פחות מ 22 יורו . מגיעה שרופה לחלוטין ועם טיפול מוגזם פשוט נורא מאיום. הזמנו שתי מנות פרגית אחת עם אורז אחת עם צ'יפס שתיהן הגיעו עם אורז בדיעבד אולי עדיף כי השווארמה שהגיע עם הצ'יפס היה ציפס פשוט לא אכיל. ארבע מנות מסתכמות ביותר מ 80 יורו ואנחנן והילדות נשארנו רעבים.
הזמנו מקום אחרי זמן רב שלא ענו לטלפון. כשהגענו אמרו לנו לחכות קצת אבל ממש שכחו מאיתנו וגרמו לנו לחכות מעל שעתיים וחצי! שסוף סוף התיישבנו המלצרית המנהלת התנהגה הגועל ושלחה אותנו אחרי ששאלתי מדוע חצי מהתפריט לא זמין?! חשוב לציין שבאנו בשעה הגיונית! השרות נורא והאוכל אפילו יותר לא ממליצה בכלל!! ובכלל הזמנו, מקום למשפחה גדולה וכשסוף סוף התיישבנו פיצלו אותנו לשולחנות נפרדים We made a reservation after a long time that didn't answer the phone. When we arrived, they told us to wait a bit but they really forgot about us and made us wait over two and a half hours! When we finally sat down, the waitress behaved disgustingly and sent us away after I asked why half of the menu was not available?! It is important to note that we came at a reasonable time! The service is terrible and the food is even more so, I do not recommend it at all!! In general, we ordered a place for a large family and when we finally sat down, they split us into separate tables
