We had the P1 (tripe and tendon were very tender), B7 was really fresh, spring rolls were fresh and peanut sauce was delicious. Chili oil on table has some kick so apply cautiously. Limeade and iced tea were both great, not overly sweet. If you like Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.
We’re regular takeout customers. The brisket pho in particular is to die for. Staff are always friendly and efficient. When we have a big order, they make sure to give us a sturdy box to carry all that broth. My partner gets something different every time we order and has enjoyed everything he’s tried.
My absolute favorite place to get Vietnamese food in Little Rock. Even when I go out of town, I try to go to different places and I have yet to find one even closely compared to this place. Their herbs are always so fresh, their meats are always cooked to perfection, and the pho broth is so rich and flavorful. Normally I get the chicken pho but today i tried the char grilled pork vermicelli bowl and it was a 10 out of 10! Definitely my new favorite but the Pho will always be the best in town. And you can never go wrong with their fresh spring rolls.
Food was delicious. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I am pleased. We ordered combination fried rice, beef and shrimp pho, Beef stir-fry noodles and chicken stir-fry noodles. Everything came out piping hot. Our server Dillon was very attention, able to answer all questions about menu, check on us throughout out meal, friendly and kept a smile on his face. Will be visiting again when im back in little rock 10/10 👌
We had an excellent meal and were totally blown away by how flavorful and delicious everything was! We ordered tofu & vegetable stir-fried noodles (V3) and the combination pork steak rice plate (C9). It was incredible! Don’t let the exterior turn you away; you will keep coming back for more!
This was my first time trying authentic Vietnamese food. It was well worth every dollar! I got the fried egg rolls and C6 (char grilled pork, sliced pork, and egg meatloaf) The char grilled pork was PHENOMENAL, worth a trip all on its own. Sweet, tangy, and aromatic. Sliced pork was served cold and tasted more like noodles was a good addition, and egg meatloaf was tasty. Came with a side salad of sorts which was also sweet. Egg rolls were reminiscent of Chinese spring rolls and also tasty. Served with a sweet sauce that was amazing on everything! Don't wait to try this place! Service was quick and friendly. 2nd visit! I got the C6 same as last time as it was so delicious! I also tried the p3 Pho and it was so so good! The A3 fresh spring rolls was not to my personal taste. It was filled with ice berg lettuce instead of cabbage and the sauce was a crunchy peanut sauce, personally I would've preferred a sweet/spicy sauce. Im very excited to keep trying new things!
This was my first time eating Vietnamese cuisine. If this is what it tastes like I'm all in. This was magnificent. I had fresh spring roll with shrimp and pork and the sauce was freah peanut sauce (my god), I also had a Bahn Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) that had pork and fresh vegetables (cilantro, jalapeños, sprouts and other stuff that made it good. I also had the Vermicelli Noodle with pork and shrimp. The sauce you poured over it was great. Everything about this dish was good except the shrimp was overcooked. Other than that this was a great experience and the service matched. Please go here and have a great meal and service.
Best pho I’ve had in a very long time. Taste just like my step mom use to make. Very authentic and reminded me of my childhood. 100% would recommend and will make the drive from Conway to come here when I want pho. My partner had the combination fried rice and he loved it too. Again so excited to have found this place, as my partner took me for our two year anniversary!
Found this place while visiting for work. Nice little hidden gem! Great service great food, I had the #2 Beef Pho and #7 pork and egg roll vermicelli along with fried egg rolls and the Thai Boba tea. Recommend all of it! Lots of food good size portions, in finished it later in my room a late night snack and it reheated well. Definitely Recommend checking this place out
Pros; reasonable prices, fresh food, good options for most people to find something that appeals to them. The banh mi and shrimp vermicelli bowl were excellent. Cons; I think that mikes place is just a touch better but they are pretty close. I’m not a fan of the credit card fee’s. I know they aren’t a chain, but I think it’s kinda a bad look. There was disorganized when checking out, had to wait almost 10 minutes. I’d still come back again, the food is good! The other parts weren’t perfectly however.
First time here and eating Pho. My wife has been curious about eating at Phở Thanh My. And with all of the social media trends of eating Pho. Today we decided to try it. So essentially, it's just broth. But with fillers of your choice. I had beef and steak. My wife had shrimp, crab and squid. Rice noodles, basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, red onions, green onions make the soup. Food: The food tastes good, If you're looking to be stuffed. Then this is probably not your dish. For this time of the year, I can see why a person would order this dish. It does have this comfort food vibe about it. Personally, I would ask for more meat due to the amount of broth provided. For us, it seems like we had more broth than meat. Or maybe more rice noodles. Either or. Service: The woman that served us was patient and very understanding that was our first time ordering from Phở Thanh My. And walked us through the menu. Again, the Service I would give 5 stars. Since we did not dine in, I don't have any to comment on for the atmosphere. Other than that it seems cozy and personal. Like I came to eat, I did. And now I'm leaving. Thank you. I believe my wife and I will be back to try different dishes and see what else they have.
Whenever I visit a Vietnamese restaurant, I like to start with either pho, spring rolls, or banh mi to decide if I’ll come back. During a trip to Little Rock, I decided to give Phở Thanh My a try. I ordered the spring rolls and the chicken banh mi. While I’ve had better spring rolls and peanut sauce elsewhere, their charbroiled chicken was absolutely outstanding. The same chicken was in the banh mi, and it was incredibly delicious. Also, their fresh-squeezed lemonade is to die for! I’ll definitely be returning to try their pho or one of their noodle dishes next time. Looking forward to it!
My favorite hidden gems in Little Rock. Each new dish I try is just as good as the last, therefore, you will not be disappointed. From Pho to vermicelli dishes to the tofu spring rolls, you are in good hands. I have converted many a meat eater to there.tofu dishes which are plenty. Bring your vegan and vegetarian friends. While you are at it, bring the kids too. This is an all inclusive environment. Parking is ample as are tables and there is hardly a wait. The service is always fast but note they are not overly pleasant, kind absolutely! Just not bubbly and talkative as they are focused on the restaurant and getting your meal correct. They grow their herbs out back. The mint basil in the spring rolls really adds a nice touch along with the peanut sauce that you want to abandon your manners for and lick out of the bowl.
The food itself was great, delicious even. Their menu, on the other hand, was straight up BAD. An old piece of paper printed from home and the printer was running out of ink, bad. You could hardly read it. The service was a bit lacking. I think it was only one guy serving all the tables though, so I don't know if I can blame him. The decorations could also use an update. I'll probably go back some day, the food is worth it.
No flavor. Worst fried rice I've ever had. Gave it a one just because the stir fry noodles were good. The egg rolls tasted old.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I hate to say it but I was greatly disappointed. My favorite cuisine is Vietnamese food and this place really let me down. As soon as I walked in, there was a very pungent chemical smell… not your typical cleaning smell but something else I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. It melted a lot like a very loud permanent marker and it ruined my appetite. I let the waitress know and she didn’t know exactly what I was talking about. I thought maybe I’m just exaggerating. I drove 2.5 hrs back home and my hair, clothes, and phone case still smelled like whatever chemical was at this place. I had a headache for the rest of the day and my phone case had to be washed.
Tried it and loved it with the exception of choosing dishes with chicken only since im no beef/ pork 12 years . Doing this is a challenge to begin with in places like this. Finally found a dish that I enjoy and only get chicken as poultry . I come so often the last know my face & order but This particular time the lady brings the plate with mixed meats (chicken , seafood , & slices of beef) . I explained the situation and assured she had gotten the right order . She takes the plate back insisting she’ll remake it , instead she bring the same plate with intention of picking everything out but chicken . When I noticed the beef was still in there I had eaten most of it however was still upset and felt mislead . I asked if the plate could be removed from the tab since it was incorrect twice . The restaurant decided to cut me off mid explanation while at the register & give me a 10% discount with nothing further to say . I find this to be a very poor attempt in resolving their mishap. Enjoy at your own risk.
