I've been coming here since i was little (so 15+ years). The service is friendly (especially Ming and David) and the food is great. The sweet and sour pork is the best in town

Great food. Have the same amazing house noodle special as china village in Dublin did before it unfortunately closed. Hope they do well at this location!

We've been going there for years but have not been since "The Covid". So, Friday nite was our first time back since early 2020.Good to see that the food is still great and the same staff is still there.

Great Chinese food establishment, been frequenting this restaurant since it opened. Lunch orders come out from the kitchen quick and delicious. Great take out and dinner dining too.

I especially enjoyed the hot tea and soup before my meal.. The service was great, the food was really good. But it was really nice to be able to enjoy my cup of oolong tea during my lunch. I will come back again

The dining area is immaculately clean and well-maintained, the waiter very attentive and personable, and there's even a guy at the front whose sole responsibility appears to be handling money. Everybody's wearing slacks and dress shirts. The food was unremarkable: what you ought to expect from a strip mall in a California suburb. The atmosphere blew me away, though!

Fantastic! Loved the salt and pepper pork chop and fried rice. The Walnut prawns were insanely good! Food arrived hot (granted we’re close), fast, and was cheaper than most restaurants. Plenty of food. We have absolutely no complaints and will be ordering again soon.

The curry chicken is outstanding and Shirley says that the beef chow fun is the best she's ever had! If you're ever in Livermore on Vasco Road, you got to check it out!

Good food good service and it's nice to be able to order off the menu. Mandarin style is why I only gave it 4 Stars I prefer Cantonese

First Chinese restaurant I've tried since moving here. I Must be spoiled. Used to having a choice of soup and an egg roll included with lunch

Food is good. A little expensive. The owner/manager is nice. We usually get it for take out. We enjoy the honey walnut chicken and broccoli and beef.

Very clean and proper. I walk into China Pavillion and feel like I'm under dressed. Well, I probably usually am, but that's beside the point. Their hot and sour soup and their potstickers, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, boy. Just float me down the hot and sour river in a potsticker boat and I'll eat myself right to the check stand. Noodle dishes are good, and not the greasy-oily mess you get half the time at other Chinese food places. Service has always been good, and pickup orders are ready on the double.

Love the food! This is close to my work but I am still trying to find someone with as good of a Garlic Chicken as this place does.

They have some of the best hot and sour soup I've ever had! I love this place and i come here often. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes the waiters can be a little pushy and don't speak the best English so I can be a little hard dealing with them sometimes. But other than that because some of the best Chinese food in Livermore.

It was our first time eating at China Pavilion. They were open during labor day holiday. We were in route for home from camping when hunger struck. Reviewers said food was good so we took a chance. There were six of us. After realizing we could order from the lunch menu, we ordered accordingly. Every dish came with hot & sour soup, fried wonton, and steamed white rice. The soup had plenty of flavor, a certainly good starter. Wonton was freshly fried and rice was steaming hot. Brown rice was an available option too. Anyways, everyone chose a different dish including pork ribs with black bean sauce, spicy egg plant with pork, honey walnut prawns, and Kung Pao chicken. Additionally, we also ordered house combination chow mein, and garlic stir fried spinach to share. I personally ordered curry chicken. Although others said their food was good, mine was questionable. There were more water chestnuts than chicken. The curry taste was also bit mild for my taste. I did taste the pork ribs and found it hard. Other dishes were great. So, their food is not consistent were some are good, and others not much. It almost seems like they have a couple chefs and one is better than the other. The restaurant was clean, with minimal decor. It's brightly lit by large windows, typical of shopping mall structures. The staff was friendly making sure we had water, and tea always. Service was quick and painless otherwise. We spent almost $100 for our meal. It's worth a follow-up visit the next time we are in the area.

We use to go to China Village in Dublin, which was very good, and they closed but he also owns China Pavillion in Livermore, so we tried it, and it is good but it doesn't come close to China Village. This is just my opinion only others might love it.

Food needs more flavor taste like the king pao chkn was water down n supposed to be served with fried rice or noodles, but clean nice place

Very expensive for the food we got. Eyelash/hair in my grandsons soup and food was not flavorful at all and cold. I ordered bar b q pork and bar b q pork fried rice to go. Pd 11 dollars and some change. Got home and only rice in back. Very disappointed.

Last night ordered $80 worth of food....absolutely horrible.....I do not know what has happened but the present chef SUCKS..... The mushu pork smelled rotten and the soup was all cornstarch.....the string beans were total mush and tasteless.... DEFINITELY the last time here

15 years ago this place was fantastic. The food was really good. In 2020 I was there. It was terrible hot sour soup was watered down no flavor quality of food went way downhill. Five years later, we decided to give it another try to see if there’s any improvements. Absolutely none It’s terrible. It’s too bad.
