I was reminiscing in my hometown, I specifically had planned a trip to get an ice cream cone dipped from Weinerschnitzel, (a favorite of my moms-she passed away little over a year ago) as i pulled up to order in drive thru. I saw that you had rootbeer floats. A bigger favorite of my moms so instantly my order changed to a rootbeer float. It was one of thee best rootbeer floats I've had in a very long time. It was such a bittersweet moment, I could not hold back my tears, they started rolling down my cheeks. So I pulled over to pull myself together, then I enjoyed the most wonderful rootbeer float in decades and all the loving memories of my mom I could recall at that time. Thank you Melody

Here is what I do. Get 2 grilled, 1 bun. Slice each longwise in half but not separated. Lay on top each other, mustard in between. Close up all. Eat. Yum.

Best Weenie in CA! In fact it's the best Weenie location hands down. I've been to several Wienerschnitzel restaurants in a few different states, and this specific location hands down has .T.H.E. B.E.S.T. F.O.O.D.!. They genuinely care about the food they serve.

Fast service. The guy at the counter was polite. The dining room was clean. It's a fast food joint, so if you fine dining atmosphere the go spend more money. LOL

The manager and employees at this shop have high standards for the quality of the food. My chili cheese fries has always come hot, fresh and ready. Love this place! EDIT: I got food poisoning for the second time EDIT 2: 2/21/2024 Food was great and fresh. Seems like there is different management

I've been going to this location for several decades now. The hot dogs, corn dogs, and French fries are 5-star to me. I might be a little biased, but if I didn't like their food, I wouldn't keep coming back. The assistant manager and his crew are friendly and helpful. This location is right in the heart of downtown, so if your tummy is "a rumbling", nab yourself a doggie.

I just found out that the Goldsberry's(family who previously owned this restaraunt) had sold this restaurant 2 YEARS AGO!! Thats why the food is not the same and the new owner is very strict. Much less family feel. -------‐-- I love this Weenie! They have hands down, THE BEST Chili. Especially of any Wienerschnitzel Ive ever been too. If you compare this Weenies chili with the other Weenie across town on Vasco, you will notice a big difference in taste and quality. The Chili is made in "Fresh Batches" at every location. These stores must use different preparation procedures because you can taste it. This Weenie makes everything right when you order it. I genuinely love their food! If you have ever had a bad experience at a different Wienerschnitzel location, then I highly recommend you try this location out. It is family owned and operated. It has been for many many years. They take pride in what they do and you can taste it. Rick and Diane Goldsberry, the owners, are doing a great job at providing us with great tasting Wienerschnitzel food. Once again, best chili around!

So this place was awesome, super friendly people, great dogs, had.. Wait for it... A Ding Dong Shake, over the top good.. 5 Stars for the whole visit. Staff was awesome.

Not a huge fan of Wienerschnitzel but I do love their chilli cheese fries and milkshakes. Their Oreo shake is delicious. Out of all the times I have been there they never got my order wrong. If you are thinking about visiting make sure you bring coupons. It could be a little pricey and the coupons make a big difference.

This is a good stop for a quick, cheap bite. Its clean, the service is fast and friendly. We certainly will be back for corn dogs!

Yummy fast food. Tried to go inside not knowing they were innovating and a worker told me I could order through the drive thru by foot! Haha! Then she was kind enough to come outside and give me my order :)

Got home to find out I was shorted two orders of fries that I paid for. Not a huge deal but when you have little kids who were looking forward to fries and then to have to share one order it is disappointing

Decent food, it seems to be an older location with a very young staff. I had the chilly cheese dog meal and it was a bit salty. Though the corn dog I had was pretty good.

Location can be hit or miss in terms of service. I've had excellent service and terrible service. I find the most consistently good experience is with the evening crew.

so like foods good and all but aw geez them boys got some super slow service I only recommend if you have an hour or two to sit in the drive through line.

The food just isn't good. We were served a greenish hot dog, bland chili, and soggy fries. Everything was overly salted. The employees were friendly and gave good customer service.

Said they were closed 2 hours early.. went at 9:10 and they close at 11. Couldn’t order

I haven't been into a Wienerschnitzel in probably 15 years. They've been advertising on TV a new pastrami sandwich. So I decided to give it a try. It's not a good deal. It was $5.99 just for the sandwich and it wasn't very big. So, I got the Chicago hot dog since the pastrami sandwich wasn't enough to satisfy me. That was a mistake. It was terrible. First, the hot dog was not hot. And when I bit into it there was no pop the skin. It either comes our way or it's been on the grill warmer way too long. And the condiments work right to be called a Chicago dog. Now I know why I haven't been to one of these places in such a long time. There's nothing to draw me here, again.
