I have not been to Friendly’s in a long time. I stopped going because service was so so slow. I love their Patty melts and Cobb salad. Thought I would try again. The waitress was excellent. Smile on her face, great service. Leaving her a bigger tip! Have a good day Ashley!

We had an issue with a waitress. Grace & Savannah stepped up and made our experience great. Grace stepped in and was our waitress. She helped and got everything fixed from The previous waitress. Grace was a saint and will definitely go back because of her.

This was the best experience I could’ve have, had. The food was top tier and the service was amazing! The kitchen manager was (Aiden) was the sweetest person I’ve met to to date! 9/29/25 I went out to eat before my movie premiere and I had the best diner I’ve had in years! And I make food from scratch! Loved everyone there and kitchen manager needs a raise for all his hard work! Keep it up you guys you’re killing it!💯

Kyung was a fantastic server, very sweet very hospitable. She was very nice to us and very witty with her funny jokes! Made sure we were served as quick as she possibly could and went above and beyond for our experience! Highly recommend coming here the food was delicious and well priced, and the atmosphere and server was fantastic! Portions were very generous for one person and ice-cream was so filling I could hardly finish it!

Came here after a little day trip to green lake state park and it was the best way to end our day of fun! Olivia served us and was the sweetest. She was great with my kiddos, helped me pick out my meal and dessert since I couldn’t choose and her suggestions were quite amazing. Aside from how sweet our waitress was, the food and ice cream were just as great! Great server, great food, amazing time spent with my little family.

My good friend who was born and raised in Syracuse had been insisting in taking me to Friendly’s, specially after I told her I had bought the Friendly’s ice cream from the grocery store and didn’t like it. Definitely did not disappoint! Lovely service. Regarding food, I gave a chance to the Dorito’s and it was good. The ice cream was delicious! It was not compared at all to the one from the store.

Great staff that were very attentive. Food was just as described. Service was fast. Who doesn't love ice cream with their meal? Very busy on Valentine's Day that happened to also be a Friday night dinner rush, but they handled it quite well!

Came here for lunch around 11:30 for the first time in a long while. Waitress was friendly and tried taking our order immediately. I asked for another moment to look over the menu so she said she’d be back. I looked it over and decided on my order but she didn’t return for about 15 minutes. We finally placed our order and waited for our food to come. It took a very long time. She brought the food and I said something about it taking a long time and she said no, you took a long time to order. I brushed it off, ate my food. The fries were warm but soft. The sandwich was ok at best, very very greasy. The bread was so greasy it was soggy. We finished our food and I started to look at the ice cream menu. Waitress came over and said are you ready to order your ice cream. I said I was still deciding. She said ok she’d be back. Waited about 25 minutes for her return. Placed the ice cream order and got it a while later. Nuts over caramel had soft nuts in it (maybe old) and the PB sauce was very gritty like someone put sugar granules in it. Not sure how people even go there still. We finally got out of there at 2pm. Our overall time spent there was 2.5 hours!

Went there around 1:45 today (1/10), just me and my wife to get an appetizer and maybe a couple desserts. We were first in line at the podium for approx 10 minutes. Not a single acknowledgement from any of the employees. Very poor customer service. There were plenty of open tables. One customer stated on his way out to us "good luck, the service is horrible" We ended up walking out and going down the street to Texas roadhouse and were seated within 15 minutes with drinks infront of us.

Dined at this Friendly’s on 1/31/26. If you’re in the mood for eating indoors whilst wearing long underwear and your winter jacket in order to stay warm, this is your place! The thermostat near the restrooms indicated that the heat was set at 61 degrees. I think it might be broken because 61 degrees seemed a generous overstatement of temperature. The quality of the food can be described as mediocre at best. The buffalo chicken wrap was light on chicken and flavor. It was wrapped in a sad dry tortilla that might better have been used as insulation as it had the same texture. The French fries looked and tasted like they’d been in the fryer too long. Golden and crispy they were not. The ice cream. You’d think they would at least nail this part of the meal. The scarcity of requested toppings on the make your own sundae left me wondering if there’s a national shortage of Reese’s Pieces. Positives: The wait staff was attentive and accommodating. Also, we all enjoyed the bendy straws that were provided.

If you are thinking of going here, do yourself a favor and break your leg instead so you can get some hospital food. It will be cheaper and better quality. Service is slow and when you finally get your “food” it is three steps down from McDonalds.

Yesterday my wife and I experienced the most unpleasant dining experience we can remember at the Friendly's on Route 31 in Clay. We were seated right away, but watched orders being taken from customers who arrived well after we had. It was only after my wife summoned the staff that a waitress came to our table and excused her oversight by saying that no one had told her about us. My wife ordered New England fish and chips, and I tried to order the senior cheeseburger without cheese. The waitress argued with me about whether I could get a cheeseburger without cheese, but I thought we had come to an agreement. When the food finally came, the fish was browned almost to a burned state. My sandwich was sans cheese, though. My wife commented that her fish looked more like chicken and the waitress stated that the serving was the last that they had on hand. We had to ask for ketchup although I had watched our waitress check the bottles on empty tables except ours. While we waited for our food, the people at the next table called the waitress over to complain that the bill they were given was not for the food they had eaten. When our bill came, I noticed that I had been charged for the regular hamburger, not the senior portion. The bill came to about $37, comparable to a recent bill at a local steak house. We would have done better at the McDonalds next door. As we left, the waitress said something about things would be better next time. There ain't going to be a next time.

Just got off a long 12 hour shift and didn’t feel like cooking. I ordered off the Friendly’s app before I left work and was going to pick it up on the way home. Didn’t wait too long but they stapled my bag closed which was weird. I am allergic to tomato and don’t care for lettuce on my sandwiches. I ordered no tomato no lettuce as can be seen on the receipt. Get home and to my disappointment there is not only lettuce which would have been easy to take off but tomato. My after work meal is ruined as tomatoes can cause some pretty bad reactions if I consume them. Went right in the trash. Too tired to drive 15 minutes back for a remake. Oh well… first world problems… whoever is doing the quality checks needs a retrain.

This was the worst experience I've ever had on a Friday night delivering locally. I will never return to this location again I entered the restaurant and it actually wasn't busy. There were some guests in the lobby but nothing crazy. I had to pick up order for a very small ice cream sundae. Not only did I enter the restaurant and not a single person engaged with me. Made eye contact with me. Asked me when I needed what I was there for... There was even a manager glasses, dark hair and she did not bother to even glance my way knowing that I had been there almost an hour for a single icecream. When I was finally gifted the ridiculously late and undesired ice cream they didn't apologize and I won't ever return
