The best fish & chips ever. We came to visit after moving away years ago, and it is still fantastic. The fish & chips and hush puppies are all outstanding. We were so impressed considering we pay much more for seafood in the area, yet this is so good. We will be back!

Longtime local favorite! Traditional fish and chips, clams, and the fish sandwich are my favorites; I always get a cup of chowder and some hushpuppies too. They make their cocktail and tartar sauces in house, which are delicious. The food is fresh, the staff are friendly and the owner genuinely cares about their business and our community. Love the nostalgia of this place, the quality is always consistently great and the portions are good. I also appreciate that they're constantly evolving, now offering an app to order from with loyalty points for free food, making it even more convenient to order. Highly recommended!

I haven't been to Alfie's in a very long time and was craving some fish & chips. Not knowing what I really wanted, I ordered the basics. The service was great. Our cashier, maybe Nelly? was so patient. I drove all the way home. When we sat down to eat, it was the best! We had a few extra nibblets and the state sauce is so good! Made my night. Thank you again for a wonderful fresh meal and great service!

Food is great. Some of the most authentic fish and chips I've had. Don't grab it to go. Sit in and enjoy it. Family run atmosphere. Friendly and wholesome. A nice place to eat with friends or family.

I've not been to Alfie's in well over seven years, as I lived out of state. I went for the first time Nov 2024 when I came to visit, and then about a week ago. I've loved Alfie's since the first time! The fish and chips are crispy on the outside and the fish is tasty! The tartar sauce is the best I've ever tasted. The clam chowder isn't too thick or soupy. The consistency and the clam to potato ratio is wonderful! 😉 I had to bring Dad a pint of the chowder that night. He'd already eaten but he wasn't goin to pass up Alfie's! He got a big ol grin on his face! And I live 25mls away...and made Dad's night!

Some the best English style Fish and Chips I have ever eaten. They fry everything in peanut oil giving the fish a fantastic flavor. One star was knocked off because the chips were a little soggy. But, overall a great local eatery in Lompoc.

I always get the clam chowder, it’s good. Nothing to rave about but still good. Service is always nice, and place is always clean. I suggest Add long seasoning to the fries to make them better.

This place use to be really good about 10 years ago. The coleslaw was disgusting. The fish and chips were fresh, however I remember the hush puppies being a lot tastier. Would have been better if I didn’t get so many crumbs with my meal. Still probably one of the better fish and chips but still not worth writing home about.

I’m sorry to say this as I am OG Lompocian going to Alfies since the 80’s when they were near Gemini theatre … They are just NOT CONSISTENT these days … sometimes ALL fresh others NOT! Some pieces, Dry fish and the fries were horrible … Tip: NEED TO CHANGE OUT THE OIL — I know it’s expensive but I’d rather have fresh oil and food, paying more than a stomach ache and food poisoning. I wish restaurants in Lompoc would stop cutting corners for dollars 😢
