Decimo at The Standard, London

One of my favourite places for a nice dinner with beautiful views of Kings Cross station. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, couldn't fault a single dish from the bream pistachio mole to the tomato based sauce with the patatas bravas.

Amazing food - amazing service - amazing vibe. Restaurant manager Mika looked after is brilliantly - and all her team were positive and welcoming. A truly lovely experience.

Amazing atmosphere, warm welcome, perfect table, great margaritas and tasty food. Rachel went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening!

Ohhhh my god, this food is delicious. Definitely going back as soon as my wallet recovers. Not for the thrifty. Service staff are true professionals and made my husband feel so at ease with his food allergies. The interior design has many intentional choices that make this spot feel so luxurious. The toilets especially are very special - be sure to check them out. Caesar salad is an absolute must!!

Just splendid. My wife and I had a dinner that was out of this world. Every dish was very good and most were outstanding. Have to mention especially the beef Gordita (recommended by Tyrese - honourable mention below) and the marinated tomatoes <chef kiss with pinched fingers>. We booked last minute so could only get a seat at the bar. But that worked out excellently: our bartender was Tyrese (see the picture attached to this review) who was highly knowledgable, very interesting and bloody charismatic. He also appeared to love his job, which made him even more fun company! I couldn’t fault any aspect of this evening.

If you looking for the place to enjoy and vibe, you definitely need to go for place calls “Decimo”. The best place for the delicious cocktails and food to go for. Since I entered I’ve met beautiful host Ella with amazing smile, bartenders with happiness in their smiles to make beautiful and wonderful cocktails for you. Especially want to highlight Jemish with his passion and recommendations for the drinks, made me fill special for him, even when it was a busy service for him. Overall this must have to go restaurant, even if you not hungry, it will make you hungry 😅. Price is a bit expensive, but you are in the middle of king cross on the 10 floor with the nice view on the whole city , so it makes worth it.

Tyrese was the best! Very friendly and the drinks were fantastic. I especially recommend the honey and saffron amaretto sour.

The atmosphere at Decimo is both warm and glamorous, with a stunning view over St Pancras that leaves a lasting impression. What made the experience truly special, however, was the unique approach of our waiter, Tyrese. His effortless communication and light, welcoming manner created a wonderful atmosphere for our company and made the evening unforgettable.

I was recommended this restaurant for my friend's birthday celebration. After reading recent reviews I was worried it would be a disaster. I was wrong to worry. We had a fabulous time. The door staff were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant staff (all very beautiful, I may add), were attentive, friendly and knew the menu. When being seated they acted on a comment my friend made about the gorgeous view and seated us at a table that overlooked the London skyline so we could watch the sunset over dinner. Initially a little slow to take our order, but after that, the service was amazing. We were too full to order dessert after eating so much delicious food and cocktails (yes pricey, but was very well cooked and you couldn't put a price on the view), when we asked for the bill, our wonderful waitress came over with a lit candle to wish my friend a happy birthday. She said they were gutted we didn't want a dessert because they were going to give her a complimentary dessert with candle but didn't want to let her leave without being able to make a birthday wish. Such a nice touch. All the staff we spoke to wished her a happy birthday. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Tyrese was the best mixologist, but an even better conversationalist. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars! The Limon mezcal martini was superb.

London is great because places like this exist. An exquisite jewel in the city. A favourite of mine. The food. The cocktails. The atmosphere. And if you’re lucky — you’ll get Angy at the bar to serve you. 10/10!

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and were absolutely blown away by the service. Angy was beyond amazing — incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make us feel special from the moment we walked in. Without exaggeration, it’s the best service I’ve experienced in London in many years. Carlos was also wonderful, and together they made us feel completely at home from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the great food, but because Angy and Carlos turned our evening into something truly memorable.

We had an unforgettable Christmas Day dinner a few weeks back. We loved the entire experience, the staff were attentive to our requests upon booking & we had an absolutely delicious special Christmas menu (it was honestly one of the best meals we had in London). Special shoutout to Rachel as a gracious & wonderful host & Thandie for her infectious energy & good vibes (we hope we are still your favourites)! We can’t wait to come back experience more of the Decimo hospitality & deliciousness

Rachel at the reception, Daniele and Tyreece at the bar outstanding performance. The whole place is built to make you smile and the staff is the real gem! If you don’t try the octopus ceviche and the pimento paloma better you to order them immediately!

This is the best restaurant we’ve been to in a while, the food was exquisite and the architectural features spectacular! Amazing location with wow factor as you ascend up the lift, we were seated without delay and given a view of the Renaissance Hotel opposite to admire it as we indulge in our brunch. The chicken tacos sharing meal offered an abundance of flavours which we throughly enjoyed and it was surprising filling for a good price. Make sure to take a trip to the rest rooms - the best toilets I’ve ever seen! The architectural design and interior detailing is spectacular throughout and the atmosphere given by the lit fires gives a sense of comfort and relaxation. One thing that would have made the experience better was if weren’t sitting so close to other people as the tables are very close together to be able to have private conversations, but understood logistically for waiters. We also had desserts and I highly recommend the milky dessert - heavenly! 10/10 throughout

Great drinks and outstanding hospitality by Angy! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The drinks were perfectly made—balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor. What really stood out, though, was Angy’s friendliness and attentiveness. She checked in often to make sure everything was just right and went above and beyond to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and genuinely personal, but she nailed it. Definitely a spot worth coming back to, especially if Angy is behind the bar!

I had the most amazing birthday dinner at Decimo. From the wonderful greeting at the entrance by the gorgeous staff Rachel to the sumptuous food, it was a delightful evening. The table service was outstanding, and the staff were all attentive and friendly. At the end of my dinner Rachel was so kind and took photos for me which are now cherished memories of my birthday dinner, such a joyful experience indeed. Had an amazing evening at Decimo a few weeks ago. From the moment we arrived the team made us feel welcome. Our server Tyrese was fantastic and went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable on Whiskeys and wine and gave us great recommendations. You can tell Tyrese loves what he does and is going to go far in the industry. The whole team was friendly and professional. I can really recommend Decimo, with its stunning decor, stylish and relaxed we will definitely be back.

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere and the best service! Safi was super attentive and helpful with the menu. We had a huge meal, snacks, starters, multiple mains and dessert - and it was just my partner and myself! 😂 Didn't leave a crumb - everything was perfect. We came for the Masala y Maiz menu. Will return on a regular evening as well and give their general vibe a try.

Great evening from start to finish. We were late for our booking because of tube delays but Ella made sure we had a lovely night regardless. She even found us a fantastic table by the window to have some drinks. Service once we sat down was efficient and warm. Food even better. Don't skip the octopus, it was so tasty!

Was lucky enough to have dinner here on Saturday night and just wow. Firstly, youre knocked out by the view of St Pancras before noticing just how cool the restaurant is. The restaurant is stunning and you genuinely would have no idea you were in Kings Cross. The team were so kind and generous - thank you to Laticia & Annie for looking after us. Food awesome - do get all the tacos & the Manchego Nachos (long way from your local pubs attempt lol) and def the Sweet Potoato and the abodo steak. But please make room for the chocolate mousse - best desert in London! Mad view & good food - such a rare find. Thank you!!

What a superb place! The vibe and the atmosphere was outstanding - effortlessly cool yet unpretentious. Service was attentive but not invasive. The waiting staff were knowledgeable and their recommendations were absolutely on point. We started with mezcal cocktails which were smoky and fresh. The food was inventive, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The richness of flavours and the skilled execution was a joy and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. Particular highlights included the trout, gordita and Baja taco. Would absolutely recommend.

A beautifully designed bar and restaurant with a great view over London. This place is conveniently located next to Kings Cross station and underground connections. I would highly recommend booking as the first thing I was asked by the door host/security was if I had a reservation. Once I confirmed I did, they seemed to relax a little and told me to come in and join the queue. They must get a lot of chancers! Heading up in one of the many lifts to the tenth floor, I was aware that there was a large private function of some kind going on and the crowd was fairly rowdy. Plenty of festive spirit was filling the air. The maitre d was very welcoming with a lovely warm smile. Even though our reservation was at 6 the place was fairly busy and alive with a bubbling atmosphere. Once seated we ordered our cocktails (approx £18 each) my spicy Paloma hut the spot and I could have quite easily guzzled another but we decided to switch to wine. There are no bottles under £50 however they do serve carafes of wine. The Chilean red we chose was a lovely accompaniment to our food. Being completely honest the service was a little slow in taking our orders, however each team member was very friendly and informative. They were also extremely understanding and flexible with my dining partner's nut allergy. As we decided to share, they suggested the dishes which we could have and that they could put the nut sauce on the side so that we could both enjoy the wild bream and I could still enjoy it with the pistachio cream. We sampled a range of the menu from Machengo Nachos (highly recommended) the suckling pig taco and Baja cod taco, both of which were fantastic to the aforementioned wild bream. The side of Patatas Bravas was epic, beautifully dusted in paprika but quite rich overall. It was also obvious that they sell these by the case load and have them prepped and ready to go, as some of the potatoes tasted like those roast potatoes you sometimes get at dodgy roast. The kind where it's been cooked, gone cold and then fried before serving to warm it up. Causing it to go so hard that you can just about cut into it with that saturated oily texture on the outside while being slightly too dry on the inside. You know what I mean! Overall we had a good time here, it is a little overpriced for the food but you're paying for the ambience, atmosphere, and location!

Decimo Restaurant, stunning views, good food, but tiny portions Three of us visited Decimo with high expectations and while the experience was generally pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The positives: ✔️ The view is spectacular: From our table, we had a beautiful panorama of St. Pancras Station, which made the evening even more special. And the bathroom? A surprisingly breathtaking view possibly the best in the venue! ✔️ The décor is modern and elegant, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. ✔️ The cocktails are well made expensive, but the quality is evident. ✔️ The food is tasty: We ordered fish and although the presentation was nothing special, the flavour was delicious. What could be better: ⚠️ The portions are extremely small for the price of the dishes. The fish was well prepared, but the serving size was tiny. ⚠️ Value for money: We don’t mind paying for quality, but at £490 for three people, the portion sizes left much to be desired. ⚠️ Presentation could be improved: Given the price, we expected a more visually appealing plating. Overall, Decimo offers a stunning setting, great flavours and an exclusive dining experience, but the high prices and small portions might leave you wanting more. It’s a lovely choice for a special occasion if you appreciate atmosphere and style, but perhaps not the best if you’re after a satisfying meal in terms of portion size.

The design, location, and interior atmosphere are top-notch. The view from the bathroom and its design are exceptional! The food is good in quality but very poor in quantity — portion sizes are extremely tiny. The cocktails and wine selection are good. One thing I didn’t like was the live DJ; the music was a bit too loud and distracting.

I dined at Decimo, located on the 10th floor of The Standard Hotel, London, for dinner. The restaurant serves a mix of Mexican and Spanish cuisine. I had visited once before for lunch when they first opened, so it was nice to return for dinner with friends. The atmosphere and interior are truly iconic! You can tell no expense was spared in the details and layers of design. Just stunning! The hotel itself and other venues have a mid-century, 70s aesthetic, and Decimo follows suit but with more Mexican-inspired elements. The restaurant offers 360-degree views of London, but my favorite view is actually from the bathroom! The food was absolutely delicious, but the portions were so tiny that at one point, I couldn’t believe the size of my 1 portion tostadas! 😅 For the level of sophistication and the price point, it pains me to say this, but the service was disappointing. We ordered a LOT from the menu, but when the food arrived, nothing was explained. Three of our starters never came, and we had to repeat our orders and chase for our drinks. That said, the company was great, and we still had a fun night!

We ordered the tacos for starters and they were delicious. The rest of the food was decent but I had better expectations. The atmosphere was great, it's a romantic vibe and the view was amazing. The receptionist from the ground floor was rude and he did not let us pass as we did not have a reservation but there was plenty of space, I literally booked a reservation on his face for the exact time I was there. I'm not sure if that was racist or what was the reason behind.

However, our dining experience fell short. The steaks we ordered were unfortunately disappointing. They lacked flavor and were not cooked to our preference. Furthermore, we discovered multiple mistakes and unauthorized charges on our bill after leaving. This was a frustrating oversight and left a sour note on an otherwise promising evening. While the ambiance is exceptional, I would advise diners to carefully review their bill before paying and perhaps temper expectations regarding the quality of the food.

I came here for my 21st birthday, it was also booked under 21st birthday? I can happily say I will not be returning, the new manager had a disgusting attitude, he was very rude, i thought the food was really good, but the manager of the place let it down, I can also say that some conversations should be kept private but I noticed the manager going round spreading it to other staff, I went to another place where I was mentioned and welcomed and made a special night for my 21st where as here I was compared to. Overall the food and drinks were really good, but please change this manager! It was lovely for drinks thought

I have been a customer for years and have celebrated two birthdays at this venue. I mostly visit during the summer. Today, after work, I was in the area with a friend visiting London and I thought it would be nice to stop by for a few drinks and dinner. At the entrance, the gentleman refused my friend entry because of his dress code. That in itself would not have been an issue, if it weren’t for his extremely rude and inappropriate manner — especially for a place I have been frequenting for years. I am shocked. The man at the entrance told us that we could have a drink at the ground-floor bar if we wished. However, I had never been there before and we took the wrong turn. He then chased after us and treated us very badly. Is this the way you treat a loyal, long-standing customer? Shame on you. Please be more selective when hiring staff and ensure they have proper customer service skills.
