Had a wonderful lunch at Imperial Treasure! We went for the set menu and left completely stuffed. The roast duck was easily the best I've had in London—perfectly balanced fat-to-meat ratio and so flavourful. Th molten egg custard buns were absolute highlights too. Tried their Valentine's Day cocktail special—bar consistently delivers well-crafted drinks that please any palate. Lunch service comes with beautiful natural light, great for photos if you're into that. Solid, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

From arrival to departure, the service was polished and well-paced, with no obvious weak points. The team was attentive without being intrusive, and everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. The food focuses on refined execution using quality local ingredients. The roast duck with crispy skin and the scallion oil chicken were both classics done very well. Flavours were clean, balanced, and confident rather than showy. We visited during dinner and ended up ordering more than planned. Portions were generous, and the kitchen handled the larger order without any drop in quality. As it happened to be someone’s birthday, the staff surprised us with a small dessert and a birthday song. A thoughtful gesture. Low-key, well judged, and very much in keeping with the tone of a high-end restaurant. Overall, a reliable choice for well-executed Chinese cuisine, strong service, and a calm, professional dining experience.

I love Chinese food, and I always do our best to search for the best roast duck. It’s all round 10/10 service was amazing, food was great the starts to the desserts, more than enough space for the family….. and now, the food. Wowza. The duck skin was very crispy, the duck was juicy and packed with flavours, crispy pork was nice snd crunchy on the skin and soft on the meats. The dishes was all in good portion sizes and I didn’t feel too stuffed afterwards alongside with incredible desserts. Will defiantly be coming back with my family and thank you for an amazing meal.

I purposely went there for the fish maw, and it’s the best I’ve ever had. The soup has an incredible texture, and the fish maw is unbelievably soft and delicate. The venison puff is also a must-order, and the dim sum is consistently excellent. I make a point of visiting this restaurant every time I’m in London.

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in London. I’ve been to Imperial Treasure quite a few times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, with authentic flavours and well-prepared dishes that keep me coming back. The setting is especially beautiful — it’s located in a historical building, thoughtfully blended with elegant Chinese features, which creates a really unique and welcoming atmosphere. Service has always been pleasant, warm greetings and attentive service. It is a great place for both casual meals and special occasions. Overall, it’s a gem in London for anyone looking for great Chinese food in a charming, character-filled space. Highly recommended.

Had a great meal at Imperial Treasure in London. The restaurant is set in a beautiful historic building and the atmosphere feels elegant but still comfortable, not stiff at all. The Peking duck was definitely the highlight — roasted fresh on the day and carved at the table. Crispy skin, juicy meat, really well done. The turbot was also a pleasant surprise, cooked differently from the usual steamed version and full of flavour. We also tried some dim sum, which was very refined, and they even made a light duck soup from the remaining bones, which was a nice touch. Finished with a mango pomelo sago dessert that was rich but not too heavy. Overall, great food, attentive service, and a place I’d happily come back to if I’m craving high-quality Chinese food in London.

I came to Royal Treasure Pavilion for their lunch set menu and was really impressed. The food was beautifully presented and tasted authentic — every dish was well-balanced in flavor and freshness. The service was polite and efficient, and the restaurant itself feels elegant but comfortable — perfect for a relaxed midday meal or a business lunch. Considering the quality, the lunch set is great value for money. I’ll definitely come back to try other set options! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and refined Cantonese lunch in the area.

Imperial Treasure has become my “forever favorite” after trying many Cantonese restaurants in the city. The first time I brought friends from China, they were blown away—even the roast duck rivals, if not surpasses, the ones we’ve had in Beijing: incredibly crispy skin, tender meat, and simply melt-in-your-mouth. Since then, it’s been my go-to spot for dates, celebrations, and hosting friends. Elegant ambience, attentive service, and consistently outstanding dishes every single visit.

We had the Imperial Treasure tasting menu and the food was exceptional! All of the dishes were outstanding! Our top three were the peking duck, black truffle lobster and the steak with garlic chips! Our waiter Stephen was soo attentive and gave us some good tips on how to enhance our soup! We had such a wonderful time and we will be coming back

Dined at this restaurant twice. First time was lunch dim sum which was amazing. Would easily say it's the best dim sum in London and that inspired me to go back for dinner, which was very good but not amazing. Definitely recommend going there for dim sum. Excellent service, something you would expect in a Michelin star restaurant. The atmosphere feels like a very luxury fine dining restaurant, very relaxed and calm but very attentive. I've also had dim sum in their Guangzhou restaurant (Tianhui) and I would say the dim sum is better at London restaurant.

In London, this is personally the only Chinese restaurant I consistently choose. Both the food quality and service are very reliable and well maintained. For me, if I want Chinese food in London, this is the only place I would go. Whether it’s friends visiting from out of town or family gatherings, this is always my first choice. Of course, everyone has different tastes and spending habits, but from my personal experience, this is the most dependable option for Chinese cuisine in London.

🌟 An Exquisite Culinary Journey at Imperial Treasure, London 🌟 As a seasoned food reviewer, I'm always on the hunt for authenticity and excellence, and my recent visit to Imperial Treasure Fine Cuisine in London was nothing short of spectacular. This isn't just a meal; it's a grand experience that speaks volumes of culinary mastery. 🇨🇳✨ Atmosphere & Service 🏙️ From the moment you step in, the ambiance exudes elegance and sophistication. The decor is refined, creating a perfect backdrop for a special occasion or a serious business dinner. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and knowledgeable staff who guide you through the menu with grace. You truly feel looked after from start to finish. 🤵‍♂️👌 The Star of the Show: The Food! 🍽️ Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece, but a few truly stood out and deserve a special mention. 🦆 Legendary Peking Duck: This is a must-order. The ceremony of the duck being carved at your table is a treat in itself. The skin was phenomenally crispy, and the server's recommendation to dip it in a little sugar before wrapping was a revelation—a perfect sweet and savory crunch! The duck meat that followed was tender and flavourful. For our second course, we chose the remaining duck to be fried with garlic and spices. It was divine and incredibly moreish. I cannot recommend this enough! 🐟 Steamed Seabass in Red Sauce: The fish was cooked to perfection—flaky, moist, and delicate. But the real star was the signature red sauce it was bathed in. The sauce had a complex, rich flavour that complemented the seabass beautifully without overpowering it. A truly memorable dish. 🥟 Dim Sum Platter: We indulged in a selection of six different dim sums, and each one was a perfect little parcel of joy. From the delicate wrappers to the flavourful fillings, the craftsmanship was evident. It’s a wonderful way to sample the kitchen's skill. 🐔 Drunken Chicken: A classic dish executed flawlessly. The chicken was tender and infused with a fragrant wine aroma. The key is to eat it with the accompanying chili and soy dipping sauce—it elevates the dish from great to absolutely sublime. Don't skip the dip! 🍲 Seafood Congee: This was, unexpectedly, one of my favourite dishes of the night. It was the ultimate comfort food, but elevated. The congee was silky smooth and packed with fresh seafood. What made it special was the addition of crispy, crunchy bits that provided a delightful textural contrast. A surprisingly delightful and incredibly delicious bowl. Final Verdict & Price 💰 Imperial Treasure Fine Cuisine is a testament to high-end Chinese gastronomy. Every single dish was a hit, showcasing premium ingredients and expert technique. It's a culinary experience that justifies its premium price tag. Our bill came to approximately £140 per person, which, for the quality and experience, felt entirely appropriate. If you're looking for an unforgettable Chinese meal in London and are ready to splurge, this is the place to be. Highly, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have to say it’s the best Chinese food I have in London. Everything’s perfect except it’s too high end so could not afford to go there as frequently as I would love to. But definitely worth trying for some special occasions!! Highly recommend

One of the best Chinese dining experiences in London! The signature Snow Mountain BBQ Pork Buns were absolutely outstanding – perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with rich, flavorful char siu. The Seafood Tofu Soup was also excellent, full of fresh ingredients and very comforting. Special thanks to our waiter Johnny, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. His professional recommendations made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d love to revisit and highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine!

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Cantonese Dining Experience Imperial Treasure never disappoints. The quality and refinement of every dish reflect true mastery of Cantonese cuisine. The steamed dim sums are delicate, fresh, and beautifully crafted — each bite perfectly balanced with flavour and texture. The hot and sour soup is one of the best I’ve had in London: rich, fragrant, and with just the right level of tang and spice. And of course, the Peking duck is a showstopper — crisp skin, tender meat, carved with precision, and served with the traditional accompaniments that make it absolutely sublime. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere is elegant yet warm, making it a perfect spot whether you’re dining solo or entertaining guests. Truly one of the few places in London where every visit feels special. Highly recommended. Eva was great 👍

This is one of my go-to restaurants in London. The food is always excellent – I especially love their tofu dishes and the diced beef, which are full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, and the service is consistently attentive. Whenever I crave authentic Chinese food in London, this is the place I keep coming back to.

This is the best fine dining Chinese restaurant I've ever experienced. We tried the Peking duck, which we'd reserved in advance, accompanied by Burgundy red wine. The dumplings that came with it were also very good. I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful setting with attentive service and authentic flavors. The Peking Duck is outstanding – carved at the table with great presentation, and truly the highlight of the menu. Dim sum dishes are also delicate and flavorful. A bit pricey, but worth it for a special occasion or business dinner.

From the moment we walked into Imperial Treasure, we were treated to exceptional service and a truly memorable dining experience. The staff(Thomas and Johnny) were warm, attentive, and professional throughout, making us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour especially the lobster rice in soup. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into the preparation. It’s clear why Imperial Treasure has such a strong reputation for high-end Chinese cuisine in London. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, top-quality dining experience. BEST PEKING DUCK IN LONDON! Imperial Treasure is fine Chinese dining, which is not easy to find in this city. The menu offers traditional dishes and seasonal favorites, as well as a nice selection of well prepared dim sum. Eating this well comes at a price but if you’re willing to pay, Imperial Treasure delivers. I was impressed by the cocktail bar and menu, too!

P
Phatt H.

We tried several dishes and everything was really tasty! The crispy pork belly, honey glazed char siu, and garlic beef were all full of flavor. The spicy Mapo tofu with minced beef was rich and satisfying, and even the fried rice was surprisingly delicious. The dumplings were juicy and well-seasoned, and the soft shell crab added a nice crunchy touch. The only downside was missing out on the roast duck — it was already sold out when we got there. So if you plan to go, it’s a good idea to call ahead and reserve it. Overall, it was a great experience with delicious food, lots of variety, and a nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a reservation at a Sunday night. The restaurant was super busy but the services were very good. Phatteera is very friendly and provided us with excellent service. Peking Duck needs to be ordered in advance at least 24 hours - taste was awesome. Also loved the razor clams. The only advice is that salt and pepper 2nd course of the duck was a bit salty and could be lighter, though.

J

An absolutely excellent meal. One of the best Chinese meals I have had in London. The service was polite and efficient, great cocktails and wine recommendations. The restaurant itself is also a special setting. Wonderful to look around. But it is the food that is the star. The duck was astounding. Crispy skin and juicy flavourful meat. The best duck I have had in ages. Every other dish we had was also excellent the fish special, the truffle white asparagus and the dim sum selection. The only negative is the price. It’s really expensive. But for my brother and I it was a one time thing so we went for it. I would recommend this place if you can afford it or someone else you are going with can!

My recent dining experience at Imperial Treasure UK was truly exceptional. While the restaurant is renowned for its Peking Duck, and rightly so (it was absolutely amazing!), other dishes were equally impressive. The Sautéed Lobster with Black Truffle was a standout. The lobster was perfectly cooked, and the rich, earthy truffle complemented its sweetness beautifully. It was a luxurious and unforgettable dish. Another highlight was the Sautéed Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Chips. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the crispy garlic chips added a delightful textural contrast. A seemingly simple dish, elevated to perfection. The service was impeccable throughout the evening, and the elegant ambiance added to the overall experience. Imperial Treasure UK delivers a truly high-end dining experience, showcasing the best of Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in London. Excellent location and very good food. The staff is very polite they know exactly what to do. We tried Dim Sum and the duck. The duck is cut at the table by the chef and it was delicious. I would recommend to try it. Well done.

We booked a table for four and had a lovely dining experience at Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine. The food was delicious overall, but the highlight was undoubtedly the crispy Peking duck—absolutely the best we’ve had in London. Service was also excellent—attentive, friendly, and helpful when it came to navigating the menu and making recommendations. The elegant setting added to the experience, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. We’ll definitely be coming back!

My friends and I dined at Imperial Treasure over the Easter bank holiday, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, making it a perfect setting for a relaxed catch-up with friends. Service was excellent - special thanks to our waiter, Johnny, who was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. He recommended the Turbot, which turned out to be the highlight of our meal. It was beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. While most dishes impressed, the 海鮮乾炒牛河 (seafood stir-fried beef ho fun) could be improved. It lacked the signature wok char and was a bit too wet for our taste. The portion was also on the smaller side. That said, Imperial Treasure still offers a high-quality dining experience, and I’ll certainly be back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for refined Chinese cuisine in London with impeccable service.

Absolutely amazing birthday experience and the most authentic food I've ever tasted. Its definitely pricey but the portions, service and quality of the food are worth it. The restaurant is lovely and has a great ambience. The servers are magnificent and ensure that everything is perfect. I can't wait to go again because it was the best birthday dinner ever. I especially appreciated the habd signed birthday card from the members of the team. Thank you.

I recently visited Imperial Treasure Chinese Restaurant for a friend's birthday, and the experience was fantastic! We had heard great things about the duck, and it truly lived up to the hype—perfectly succulent, tender, and the fat layer was incredibly juicy. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We also tried the fried salted egg yolk oysters, which were absolutely amazing. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations, and we left extremely happy. I’d definitely come back again!

We had such a great time at the restaurant. The food lived up to expectation! Indeed it’s the best roasted duck in London. The service was outstanding and attentive. This is the second time I’ve come here, as I don’t visit London often. I had a fantastic experience at Imperial Treasure in London. The duck was simply heavenly – and that says something, considering I usually eat very little meat! Every bite was perfectly prepared, and the taste was incredible. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was elegant and inviting. The entire experience was outstanding, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon. A true highlight in the London dining scene!

Have been coming to Imperial Treasure in the last few years. Always great food and services. The roasted pork is very crispy and the crispy prawn cheung fan is also a must-try. We bought some chilli sauce to bring home too. Service is very attentive and Kit was great at serving us and giving us suggestions.

Excellent food and service! Decided to celebrate my birthday here with family and it was truly an experience to remember. The duck especially was very good, the best I've had in London. Staff were very welcoming and one of their servers, Johnny, was very friendly and truly made us feel welcome. Will certainly return here again!

Enjoyed Sunday lunch at Imperial Treasures at Waterloo Place off Pall Mall. We started with a few portions of xiaolongbao and snow charsiew bao which disappeared very quickly. The star of the show was certainly the Peking duck; succulent with a crispy skin. We had the rest of the duck fried with salt & pepper, and this was served with other main courses like sweet & sour chicken, spinach tofu, broccolini with white bait, yangzhou fried rice & Angus beef horfun. Lovely ambience & great service too.

Ate here 3 times in the span of a month during my trip to London! Still dreaming of its Peking duck once in a while. The food was divine. My mom was a rather difficult-to-please diner but even she was in love with this place. Being a familiar face of the restaurant sure came with its own perks. The staffs felt like family

This is a beautifully decorated Chinese restaurant that specializes in Beijing Duck. We like the duck so much that we've ordered 2 for our lunch. Its other main dishes are very good as well. Don't forget the dim sum as they were tasty and hot. Overall, we had a great experience here.

Y

This place offers a very cozy and spacious environment, perfect for enjoying great dim sum. The service is top-notch, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. The dim sum is delicious and well-made, with the classic options being fantastic. On top of that, the innovative dishes like the wagyu puff and venison pastry were exceptional and added a nice twist to the experience. The only downside of my visit was the quality of the tea. I noticed that the jasmine tea was served in teabags, and the color didn’t quite match the quality I was expecting from such a fine establishment. It was a bit disappointing, and I hope they can improve this aspect in the future. Overall, this is a great spot for dim sum.

J
Jackson Wu

Apart from Beijing Duck, everything else was really not worth the money. The Beijing duck was above average quality. We also ordered garlic diced beef, Foie gras with tofu, sliced beef shin, eel fish ball, and jelly dessert (non of the these were recommended). The final bill was £430, which was really not worth the money for fine Chinese food as real fine Chinese food should be much better and more flavoursome than this. It only gets 3 star because of the Beijing duck and the rest of the duck was made to a soup were both very tasty.

N
Ningqian Yang

It is a shame that such a good restaurant can be overshadowed by the attitude of a single condescending Malaysian manager from Singapore. My family and I have loved Imperial Treasure for many years. The dim sum, Peking duck, and fried rice are consistently excellent. Even during the Covid period, the quality of takeaway never dropped. It truly has guoqi, and full credit should go to the chef and kitchen team. In previous years, Imperial Treasure was always my top choice for Chinese New Year celebrations, not only for dining in but also for ordering rice cakes and turnip cakes for family and friends. However, this year I realised that I no longer wish to return, simply because I do not want to encounter the same manager again. The service had always been great, but our experience changed after we encountered this manager. A manager’s behaviour is closely tied to a brand’s image. Unfortunately, the condescending attitude displayed by this manager completely removed my desire to return. If she is transferred in the future, I would be happy to return.
