Just amazing. Everything was top 10. When you enter, you're welcomed warmly. When you're seated, you feel home immediately. True professionalism. Food is excellent, so is the wine / drink selection. So friendly staff that you just wonder if they knew you in advance... Book a table and enjoy.

Excellent fine dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Highlights were the Cacio E Pepe gnocchi, the Pork with Tonnato and the scallops with ajo blanco. Excellent selection of wines and cocktails.

I could have eaten 5 bowls of the Blue risotto! Sensational food and amazing staff.

Food was fantastic, especially the lemon tart. The staff were most attentive and accommodating. The seats were very comfy and even though the restaurant was full, we were still able to talk to each other. Would certainly come back another time.

Incredible meal, superb service, amazing atmosphere. Could not recommend any higher. If there were 10 stars, then Murano would deserve 11. I couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you to the entire Murano team

We absolutely loved the food and the relaxed atmosphere at Murano. The service was prompt yet we never felt rushed. The menu featured seasonal dishes and while our choices were somewhat limited, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. It was also a great experience for our 8 year old daughter. Overall, a delightful dining experience I highly recommend.

Went for my wife's birthday on Fri 28th March. Thoroughly enjoyed! Impeccable service from our server lady (Aussie?). Very friendly and chatty. Food was dee-lish. Artichoke tagliatelle was one of the best things I have put in my mouth all year. Loved the various desserts - cheeses, followed by Chocolate delice and lemon tart. RECOMMEND.

Absolutely stunning set lunch at Murano yesterday, celebrating our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Would have given 5 stars for food but the confit potatoes were a little undercooked 😒 However we will be returning to try the al a carte menu! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

An amazing experience at Murano from start to finish. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the very last bite of dinner, everything was simply delightful. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and bursting with flavor. While the portions are refined, each dish is thoughtfully composed and the menu itself is wonderfully curated. The service truly elevated the evening. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely approachable, making us feel perfectly looked after throughout the night. Without hesitation, I would return on my next trip to London. A truly memorable dining experience.

Best seats in the house! We had a brilliant evening at Murano. The food was just spot on – scallops, risotto (my husband’s highlight), halibut, monkfish, lamb and venison, every course properly delicious and beautifully cooked. Service was exactly what you want it to be, warm, friendly and relaxed rather than stiff. The sommelier was a joy, really approachable and helped us land on the most inky red within our price point, all done with ease and good humour. But the real magic was our table right beside the kitchen. We hadn’t asked for it and didn’t even know it existed, but it absolutely made the night. Watching a service up close was fascinating, calm, focused and seriously impressive. Angela, if you read this, you’ve got a superstar in that kitchen, and the only woman on the line! Her focus and speed were amazing to watch, we couldn’t take our eyes off her. Such a memorable experience, we’ll definitely be back.

We visited Murano yesterday for a year-end celebration with a group of six and had an outstanding experience. The quality of the food is exceptional for a one-star Michelin restaurant – genuinely among the best one-star meals I have had, certainly in London and arguably in Europe. The cooking was precise, confident and deeply satisfying throughout. The service deserves special mention: friendly, engaging and highly attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The sommelier curated a bespoke wine journey for our table, which was thoughtful, well-paced and excellent value for money – as were both the food and the wines overall. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and relaxed, elegant but not stiff. It is not overly noisy and simply a very pleasant place to spend an evening. Overall, an extremely enjoyable experience from start to finish. We left very happy and would absolutely return.

Strongly recommend a visit to Murano!! Came here for my girlfriend’s graduation meal as we’re both huge Angela Hartnett fans and love listening to dish. The experience did not disappoint - incredible service (complementary bread & sweet treats to finish!), all of the food was delicious and it was definitely worth the price. Very much hope to return again one day!

NYE dinner at Murano was fantastic! We absolutely loved every dish and the wine pairing was fantastic! The white truffle risotto was one of our favorite dishes! We loved counting down to the new year with the staff and getting to cheers with them, it was truly something special!

Delicious food, attentive service and great ambience. We had a great table towards the back of the restaurant with a great view of the kitchen! The staff were great but special shout out to Marina who was brilliant! Would definitely come back again!

Solid classic restaurant amongst the top 5% of dining experiences in London . There are so many hyped social media dining spots that it is difficult not to be taken in by all the hype ( one good review then gone after two seasons ) . Not here at Murano this is a cornerstone restaurant , the first thing that strikes you is the warm confident genuine service and incredible attention to detail. Followed by solid flavourful cooking we loved every dish . We are very experimental diners but Murano is definitely on the must go back list , thank you for a delightful afternoon.

Slam dunk wonderful on all fronts. Husband was a little testy coming in and hated sitting outside but the care of staff and incredible food made him melt. It’s pricey (£175pp) but it doesn’t pretend otherwise. Best gnocchi ever, best cod, incredible scallops and best of all they take dogs and even wanted to prep something special for our madam.

Wow! What a culinary experience! I went to Murano for a work dinner and it was truly amazing. Let me begin with the service. We had a lovely sommelier who kindly explained the wine options to us and did not push us in one direction or another unless we asked for advice. The staff were diligent and noticed anything that we needed, they even folded our napkins any time we stood up. The food and drinks were beautifully presented, well cooked and a taste sensation. I particularly enjoyed the duck and the lemon tart. I mean look at the gorgeous plate it was on - I now want a plate like that to present all my desserts on. I will definitely be going back if I get the chance.

First time here as a birthday treat. Each dish was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing and we had a wonderful time.

Restaurants of this quality are rare, not just for the excellence of the food, but for a genuine welcome, good nature and determination to look after each customer as shown front of house here. The kitchen is on view through glass, and you can see a proper smooth operation under way. No gimmicks, no histrionics, but a pursuit of excellence by all. I am rarely in London now, but I shall continue to eat here rather than risk somewhere else.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and the team could not have been more friendly, professional and generally amazing. The food was spectacular (go with the beef) and the wine was stunning (thanks for the recommendation). All around fantastic experience that we will hopefullt repeat again soon!

Fantastic evening with my wife and son. Outstanding service from start to finish. Attentive without being OTT and very relaxed and friendly. The scallops and veal crudo superb, venison made me jealous of my son's choice though my beef was sublime, as was my wife's lamb and the desserts amazing. Yes it was pricey but what a meal!

Beyond delicious — so much so that I returned twice on a four-day trip. The risotto and Murano spritz are a must-have. The four-course meal was an appropriate amount of food for dinner/moderate hunger. Can’t wait to come back!

We had the most amazing time. The staff made us feel welcome from the very start, making sure the whole lunch was just a great experience. Not stiff as some fine dining places sometimes are, which suited us perfectly. The food was wonderful and the wine pairings just completed the meal. Next time we visit London we will surely be back!

Excellent service, very friendly but not pushy. They let us stay for hours after lunch. Food was delicious. I highly recommend sea bass

We had a great time here at Murano. I loved the atmosphere and the staffs were kind and attentive. I was particularly impressed with pasta dishes, they were just spot on. Perhaps the only bit I didn’t enjoy as much was the desert but I’m not much of a sweet tooth so maybe that’s why. Overall, I enjoyed the night here and I’d be happy to visit again :)

I came here many years ago and didn’t really remember it but came again for lunch today on a day off. I highly recommend, the food was excellent and the service even better, especially Tamara who was top class. The value for money is best in London, the 3 course set lunch includes anti pasti, a summer spritz and tea coffee for £55. And you can get a decent glass of wine for £9. Will be coming back definitely.

We had wanted to go to Angela Hartnett's restaurant for a while, and I booked as a present for my wife's birthday. The restaurant is absolutely lovely. We went on a Tuesday night and had a wonderful dinner. The lamb is one of the most beautiful things I have ever eaten. The staff we very knowledgeable about the menu and seemed to have a real passion for what they did. We will be back again for sure. If you like Italian food this is a real treat that I would recommend to anyone.

The food at Murano is simple, sophisticated, delicious and, probably safe to say, heavenly. The decor of the place, in muted colors doesn't distract from the main attraction of the place...it's food. The quality of preparation, the attention to details, the service, the presentation...everything just is a harmonious blend of layers of perfection. I could eat here every day if I could afford it

A really wonderful experience! We were greeted by all with the most friendly and sincere of welcomes. This continued with the best and most attentive service, not once did it feel overwhelming even though they were on top of every matter. We had the set lunch which is so well priced and further helped by the eat out to help out scheme. The lamb as the main is a very special dish which I highly recommend. I really want to book again to further explore the main dinner menu. A 5 star experience!

My wife has wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and with her birthday on the horizon, I booked a table. We received a warm and very friendly welcome on arrival as we were shown directly to our table. It seemed to be quite a small, busy dining room but with a smart and relaxed atmosphere. The young lady "overseeing" our table was excellent, helpful and informative as was our sommelier, one of three on the night. The English fizz to start was excellent as were the 'nibbles'. We tasked our sommelier to provide a wine flight for the evening and he didn't miss a beat, in fact I think he enjoyed doing it as much as we enjoyed drinking his wine choices! We started with the agnolotti and the artichoke risotto... fantastic. Before progressing onto the next course, the chef very kindly provided the halibut dish for us to share and taste - a birthday treat - which was an absolute delight. My rose veal course was delicate and such a lovely sensation, my wife's Herdwick lamb turned out to be another winner. Even after all this sensational food we just about managed the raspberry souffle and the Amalfi lemon tart. The wines that we sampled along with each individual dish added an extra dimension and were more than just a 'taster' than often happens with a wine flight. A great birthday treat on our trip down from Leeds, worth the trip!

Focaccia amazing, the pasta dish was very good too; the main dish was tasty, but not extraordinary. The deserts were good, especially the sorbet, there was some olive oil drizzled on top that took it to the next level. Service was good but for a Michelin I expected a bit more (like the time we had to wait to have the menu)

Z

A very convenient experience at a starred restaurant. No dress code during lunch, as travellers we don’t need to feel embarrassed because of our sneakers. Food has been recognized for over a decade by Michelin, the diversity of the service team is also a big “bravo” and huge solidarity w/the lady chef. 2-course lunch plus the sides; £80. Thank you, Chef and the team. It was a memorable experience!

A totally amazing experience for my birthday from my wife. We both love the ideas and creations when we have seen Angela on TV. Her restaurant lives up to its reputation and some. I have been fortunate eat in some other Michelin stared restaurants and this is one on the best. I would say this is close to a second, although I don't work for the guide. The menu is excellent, chose upto 6 dishes, we could only manage 4, but wow, each course was amazing. The staff were excellent, extremely knowledge about the dishes and the wine matched our tastes and the food perfectly. Definitely will return.

It was simply a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The restaurant itself has a really cosy and comfortable feel to it, the staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was amazing. I’ve been fortunate enough to eat at many great restaurants but this one was special. Really special. Thank you 🙏

Loved watching the chefs work from our table next to the window to the kitchen. Very calm and it appeared everyone was so focused. Spotlessly clean. The food was exquisite as usual and the service friendly and professional. Absolutely my favourite restaurant and ive eaten at other Michelin starred restaurants. Cant wait to come back. Just wished I lived closer. Thank you. The only thing that would have been the icing on the cake would have been to see Angela there!!

We made a special trip to London from the North West specifically to visit Murano. As avid followers of Angela on the TV and podcasts, we were really looking forward to this experience. I can honestly say we were not disappointed. The restaurant, the staff and the food, were all outstanding. This was our Christmas treat and it was very special. Thank you to all the team at Murano.

Murano had been on the list of places to go for a long time and finally managed to visit. The restaurant is very spacious and light and very calm and really good atmosphere. The only mark down on this was the bathroom facilities (esp men’s one which could do with an individual lock to the bathroom). The service was paced and steady and felt each staff working hard to focus on delivering great service: friendly, warm and subdued. It is unique to be able to select as many course as you’d like. We went for 5 courses - the portions (especially you will get amuse bouche and bread and charcuterie) were not small for a Michelin star venue so be prepared to be full if you do go for a full 5/6 courses meal. The menu changed seasonally and our first course was trout and scallops - scallops were perfect and well balanced. Trout was good but felt slightly lack of seasoning. Also I found it difficult to eat this dish when it’s served in a bowl like plate. Second course was risotto and pasta - this risotto was probably the best risotto I’ve ever had and was so simple yet so rich and delicious, the pasta on the other hand was good but not as memorable. The fish courses felt like they missed the flavour - lack of seasoning and flavours were competing rather than complimenting (especially acidity winning big time on some fish and tempura overpowering). We were delighted with the meat course, perfectly cooked meats, wonderful garnish. The desserts were also divine - and the jelly square served at the very end was my favourite and perfect pallet cleanser after a big meal. Overall, it was a nice meal and if I was coming back again, I’d go with 3/4 courses, risotto/lighter starter, meat course and dessert.

Lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. Felt very looked after, food was fantastic and good value for money. We had a lunch date, shared a bottle of wine and great table.

Murano, located a short walk from Green Park tube station, offers a refined dining experience with an elegant yet comfortable ambiance. However, current roadworks outside the entrance slightly disrupt the approach, and the half-curtained windows limit the view. The interior is warm and inviting, featuring carpeted floors, wood paneling, and beige-patterned wallpaper. Art Deco lighting complements the space, while a bar at the entrance showcases an impressive selection of wine. Contemporary art on the walls adds a modern touch. The dining area is divided into two, with circular seating on both sides, enhanced by floral displays. Service was attentive and polished. The meal started with complimentary olives, coppa, and bread with olive oil, all of which were excellent. Starters of chestnut & mushroom fagottini was light and flavorful, though the portion was on the smaller side. The sea bream crudo was outstanding, almost ceviche-like, with a fresh, delicate balance of flavors. The Mains of roast chicken was unfortunately dry, which detracted from the dish, the bare sauce was nice and intense but the veg again was unfortunately very dead- over cooked almost verging on grey! The red mullet was decent but slightly underwhelming. The fish itself had a strong flavor, and the couscous accompaniment was fine but could have been better. The Desserts of Blood orange semifreddo with black pepper meringue was intriguing, though the texture felt oddly frozen in parts. The Quince & frangipane crostata with fior di latte ice cream was very enjoyable. Murano delivers an elegant dining experience with strong service and generally excellent food, but inconsistencies in the main courses slightly dampened the overall meal. If the chicken had been better, it would have been near perfect and would definitely be back to dine again.

T
Tom Grater

Good value lunch menu, £60 for three courses plus you get a snack, bread and petit fours. You also get a few options to choose from which is nice. Food was solid but the main course chicken was overcooked which was a shame. Dining room is a certain style, quite dated but deliberately so, bit kitsch, not quite for me but a lot of people won’t mind it. Service was solid. Some pretty exciting wines with a nice balance of premium and a few affordable options. Also very accommodating for our newborn baby and our dog which we really appreciated.

N
Natalie Golding

A refined dining experience with impeccably solitcitous service. Small but beautiful plates from a kitchen dedicated to excellence in every dish, standouts include the tart and the smoked potato agnolotti. Gorgeous cocktails, including the option of ordering off menu. Only the lemon tart isn't quite the zingy delight I remember from my first visit, but there are other options for dessert fiends.

S
Simone Artuso

The service was excellent but I wasn't blown away by the food. I really enjoyed the squid ink pasta but the risotto primavera with pea & garlic was over garnished, too much radish and leaves on top of it, personally I like simplicity like my grandma used to make. The Herb Tortellini was quite bland and the cornish pollock was swimming in beans 😳 the overall lunch was ok but not memorable!!

G
Grace Yeung

The tasting menu was ok with a good portion size for each dish. I had a six-course menu and decided to choose all six from the starter and main dishes, skipping dessert. All dishes were quite strong with distinctive herbs and served with strong and/or thick sauces. It was in general good, but after a few dishes, the "aggregate" taste had grown a bit too strong and salty for my liking. There was no detailed description of the ingredients when dishes were presented. This did not bother me much as long as the key ingredients were mentioned on the menu that I could refer to. Having said that, I suspected this was just dependent on your server rather than the restaurant's serving guidelines as I was aware the level of service varied from table to table. Price slightly on the high side, so would say the value for money was rather low.

S
Shaniquoi James

Was ok. Expected to be WOW’d but I wasn’t. Service was slowwwwwww well at least for us. A large table arrived 15 min after us, seated next to us and they got menus and drinks and well into ordering before someone even came to our table to offer water. Then a random guy came and gave us hors d’oeuvres out the blue (it was yummy) but we were both confused. Once the meal got started it got better but I truly wasn’t impressed.

D
Denis Kenny

The food is outstanding, but it should be as our price per head was £225.00 for 3 main courses plus wine. The restaurant itself is very well appointed, with quality furnishings and fittings, but lacks atmosphere, you don't get the impression of being somewhere special or unique. My main issue was with the transactional, almost clinical nature of the service. I know being a Michelin star restaurant creates a degree of pressure but it shouldn't suck the joy out of customer service. Guys if you read this smile more, encourage people to laugh, be friendly, curious and engage in a way that makes people think that for one night they are part of the Murano family. Don't look so glum and apprehensive, people spend this kind of money at excellent restaurants to be happy and wonderous not just at the food but through experiencing the service as well

O
Olivia Soegiharto

I had the pheasant agnolotti (the night’s special) and the pasta was hard and dry, even though the broth was flavorful. The risotto was probably the best, rice itself cooked thoroughly but consistency of the risotto was too runny to my liking. Venison was not as tender as I’d like, and overall the dish was a bit too salty. Good service and atmosphere. I wouldn’t come back though — food wasn’t as good as hyped.

The easiest way to do this is to share the email I sent to Murano after they asked, 'Can I kindly ask if you can share more details about it as it would be very helpful for us.' ------------------------ More than happy to expand: The starting point is to compare versus other Michelin-starred restaurants as the benchmark. (More precisely 1-star.) I can summarise our conclusion as 'competent but dull cooking and experience' which stretched across a number of areas. Some of them might seem trivial but the devil is always in the details - at least for us. Seating: initially we were all seated on a banquette in a line, all facing out to the restaurant. That is the most unsociable arrangement imaginable. The rule is to form a triangle so that everyone can see each other. Hence our son moved to a single seat on the other side of the table. Service: attentive but soulless. We don't expect to become best mates but the servers showed no spark, and no interest in what we were eating or our experience. They did not attempt to lift the mood and were just a little robotic. Amuse bouche: could have been catering canapes. Brown. Bland. Nothing remarkable. We would have not cared if the rest of the meal lived up to expectations but ultimately they defined what would come next. Brown: so much of the plating was brown or beige! Beef Crudo: personal opinion but beef tartare (which is greasy) with a greasy cheese sauce did not agree with us. It needed a piquant note to balance. Jerusalem artichoke: we failed to spot truffle flavour; the provolone fondue was too similar to the cheese sauce in the first course; the pasta was hard (not al dente but hard) in places as if some of it had only been partially cooked. Cheese flavour: by now we had a cheese flavoured canape; and two dishes with a cheese sauce. Yes we chose them but we also had limited choices on the menu. Didn't someone think to mix up what flavours would be experienced? Halibut: properly cooked but the overall dish was unadventurous and bland. It was a 'we could have cooked this at home' dish. (My wife is Japanese so she knows a thing or two about fish). Beef and venison: again properly cooked and excellent quality meat but the plating was brown and frankly the dish was no better than high end pub grub. (I'm looking at the photos now.) Grit: in my venison dish there was a ball of something on the plate (unsure what it was). However it had several bits of what were possibly bone chips within it - discovered when I was chewing. (Whatever they were, they were hard. I'm looking at the photo but still can't really identify what they were.) [The image is in the uploaded photos.] Apple Souffle: no complaints. Very good. Wine List: very good.
