They have the best biscuits !! Chicken is always fresh and hot! It can get pretty busy but definitely with the wait when it comes to chicken of course you want everything cooked properly but hands down I love churches more than KFC I don’t even eat at kfc anymore churches and Popeyes are my go to

It was late night on a Sunday and three people were holding down the entire establishment. I was impressed. Some drive-up and walk-in customers gave them hell for taking long on orders or not having certain food items in stock. Personally, all I witnessed were hard-working people doing what they could with what they had. My simple order took close to 25 minutes to compete but I did not mind. My hats off to them for keeping their cool and just doing their job.

The food was good, hot and satisfying. They messed up my order twice and the tables were not clean and there were quite a bit of flies in the window but not where I sat. The cashier was friendly but the "cook" was incompetent.

We love CC, although my hubby thinks the pieces are smaller and there is more breading, Works for me.

Ordered twice this week and chicken was perfectly seasoned, hot and fresh. Bisquits were perfectly baked. First order included very hot buttery corn on the cob and coleslaw that was freshly prepared. There seems to be a significant improvement (from months and years past) with food quality, preparation and taste. Hopefully the trend will continue.

Everytime we are in a city that sells church's Texas chicken we have to stop and eat. We had about 4 hours after our cruise before we had to be to the airport. Nothing better than church's chicken and the beach. Best day of our trip.

Give me fork!! Got back to the hotel and had a laugh at my english mishap upon noticing the missing utensils. Haha, experience was good. Food was too with the exception of the lightly over baked biscuit and missing fork for our 2 sides...the visit was a good one. Friendly and tasty.

I visited this Church's Chicken, the McDonald's across the way and L&L's down the street all in the same day and Church's had the best Customer Service out of the 3. The manager greeted me as I entered and said bye to another man as he left. The food was served quickly and with no issues. The other two fast food places I visited had horrible service.

Churches is my husbands go to when he doesn't know what he wants to eat. Customer service is awesome. Quick and easy drive through. I went thru the drive through 5/11/22 at 6:36 and the associate was very friendly.

The price is right, chicken is usually okay. But the food comes out slow especially when there is a line. There are tables inside but most people take their order to go. Many times there are homeless and weird people walking around the vicinity, that may or may not bother the customers

I don't know if it's the times I go, but I never get fresh chickens. Even when I do get a fresh batch, there will be two or three old ones. I always try to avoid this location or ask for freshly made chicken everytime if I can remember.

The chicken is delicious but the staff is really slow! Took almost half an hour for only biscuits the last time I visited. It's close by so I'll be coming back but I guess only if I really have to and don't mind waiting

I don't often eat fast food. When I do, I am always amazed by the clumping of food products into a Value Meal (or some such name) which always seems to me more expensive and higher in all the things like sugar, fat and salt that are not good for me. It must be very difficult to have children who crave fast food - especially when an Extra Extra Large Soda also comes with the latest action figure. Never mind that the soda costs nearly as much as the burger or chicken. This Church's Chicken on Long Beach Blvd and Willow is located within walking distance of 9 other fast food establishments (that I could count) so you know the competition for your fast food allowance is fierce. Church's current challenge to its competitors is a dish called Smoke House Chicken - to differentiate from just every day fried chicken. When I arrived, about 8:30 pm, the last Smoke House bird had been sold. That meal was priced $3.00 less than a comparable fried chicken meal. I did get to choose from a wide assortment of "sides" including fried okra, biscuits, mashed potatoes and cole slaw. The drink that came with my meal was an acceptable sugar water - citric acid substitute for lemonade. The chicken was unabashedly proud of its greasiness and I had to ask twice for more napkins. Overall, I think Church's Chicken is okay for what it is. The bathroom was clean and since I don't collect action figures, that means a lot. But the drawback for me with all fast food restaurants is that when I leave, I never feel nurtured and nourished by the food. It's too generic, too reliant on chemicals to ensure speedy cooking. That's not a dig at this restaurant - they do generic and speedy as well as any of the other 8 places nearby. Oh. But I did notice there were no action figures to be found. That's extra points for Church's.

Good food. Place was messy, asked for BBQ sauce like three times, still didn't get it. Staff is friendly, but I heard them say "I'll just give them spicy, and not tell them" about a customer, so........

I always enjoy Church's Chicken but for some reason at the willow location I pulled in the drive thru made my order the cashier read my order back to me but when I got to the window I was missing like 3 items how do you miss three items after paying for them and I had to go back twice and let her know that I was missing items and all she can to do is say thank you for checking your items, not cool at all.

They always seem to have some sort of attitude. But the food is doable.

I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich XL Combo with a side of Mac n Cheese and a Strawberry Fanta. I did order another side of Mac n Cheese because who doesn't? Lol 🤣 along with some Mashed Potatoes and some Apple pies. I was a little disappointed about not getting my other Spicy Chicken Sandwich 🙄 but overall the food was really good. Ps they did give me store credit so that's definitely a plus 😉

Go here if you want good biscuits! This place is pretty good but I received my food Luke warm and although the biscuits are incredible here usually sometimes you'll get them when they're dry and barely heated and it's a shame. Not to mention they seem to forget items here frequently, but do do most fast food places. It's an alright place

The chicken was not fresh. It seemed like it was fried in dirty grease. This location is definitely not like it used to be, been going there for yesrs!! Too many people hanging out in the back parking lot and near other parking. This location needs help‼️

I was with my friend as a passenger at the drive thru 7:30pm it took around 25 minutes to pick up the order so by that time the chicken was close to warm.. I don't know if the driver in front of us had a large order but regardless, I don't think 25 minutes is acceptable even for a long drive thru line. It's a hit and miss, some days its good and sometimes no because I go to this location sometimes.

I had heard so much about their food being good, but this was not one of the times. I was very disappointed in the meal that I got. I don't know how my friends meal was as she was hungry. The service was slow and it wasn't really a welcoming place as I expected. They just sort of go through the motions. I'm sorry purchase but I can't give you a high rating. I hope this helps to show you there's a few changes need to be made.

They don't have family value meals bigger than 12 pieces of chicken😞 or 15 tenders and you have 3 sides no biscuits or 2 sides with 6 biscuits. Still good food nonetheless.

When I first arrived I was asked to back out of the drive through because they were behind. I decided to take a lap and came back around. Ordered via the drive thru, they forgot several items of my meal. Attempted to call but no one answered and the voicemail was full.

3 stars because of issues with the establishment. 5 stars for the food. Decided to try Church's Chicken because we don't have these on the East Coast. We walked in and my daughter had to use the restroom, she had to use the men's room because they were working on the women's, no big deal there. My issue was there was no toliet paper in the men's room, so I had my wife ask the cashier for some toliet paper and the cashier replied with I can't get you none at the moment because I have a line. I don't care about a line, there should have been toliet paper in the bathroom in the first place. Luckily we just went in the back and asked one of the employees and she got us some quickly. Overall the food was good and similar to KFC's, but their biscuits are way better than any other similar establishments because of the butter they use.

I arrived at 11:55 Sunday morning to order a 20 piece meal. I had to repeat my order three times for the woman to understand me. Did I mention that I walked in? It wasn't like I was going through the drive-thru. As she was packing my chicken, he stopped, looked at me and told me that she would have to make a fresh batch and it would only take 5 minutes. I did not leave the store until 12:20 in the afternoon. I had already explained to her more than once that I was on a time limit, and she didn't seem to care. I don't think I will ever walk in to order chicken there ever again. Service was way too slow, and I was nearly late to my meeting.

Everytime I come, I go through D-T(drive thru)always have to wait a while for the food and park. I don't order alot and still have to wait. The speaker needs to be fix. If you ever have a problem with your food, they never answer the phone you always have to drive back if you want to speak to someone and fix the problem.

I ordered okra,the wait was long and the okra was cold, smh. They were fine with preparing me more that was fresh. But it an inconvenience to wait long and then get cold food. And have to wait again

The girl who helped us did not know what kind of tea they were selling. The tables had leftover food on them, and when asked to clean them off, big time attitude. Food was on the floor in two different piles. It was a very hot day, and it was hotter inside and got an attitude when asked to turn on the air, attitude come first.

I ordered a 15 pcs. family meal with 3 large side and 6 pcs. of biscuits. The 3 large side didn't look like a large. It looks like a small or regular size. So I called the cashier. I asked "Is this a large?" she said yes. That's when I got disappointed. Other Church's Chicken have bigger sizes.

Ordered a three piece and a two piece meal, all they gave us was chicken wings no 🍗 or thigh and the Mac n cheese has no flavor.

The customer service was mediocre bordering on rude. One lady yelled out of the drive thru window over my car at another male employee saying, ...hey! Your going to leave without saying anything? That was just the one comment. I'm done with that location.

I don't know what happened. But the first couple of times I went here the chicken was good. However, on my recent trips..Not so much. It's like they're re cooking the chicken that wasn't so the day before. The fries tasted liked they were warmed back up too. Just horrible

I was on my 30 min lunch break, asked the lady for honey mustard she said "they didn't carry it that may e another place carried it", also seemed bothered for the question, ate my lunch and to be honest it was just strait plain.... wouldn't recommend this place something is in the air over their.

So not every experience here has been bad, but the last time I went the lady working there was just rude the entire time. There wasn't great communication and when I got the food it was already leaking when I got the bag. The food was greasier than usual and I had a solicitor come up and ask me for money at the front so this location isn't great.

When we arrived at the restaurant it was empty and there was no one at the counter. Finally one person came out of the kitchen and called for the person who was supposed to be there. The lady who took our order was sweet, but the lady who was prepping the order was in a foul mood and didn't seem interested in working. She put the chicken from the tray to the to-go box in such anger that she dropped a piece of chicken on the floor. She then used the same tongs she used to handle the food to pick up the chicken from the floor and throw it in the bin. Going to avoid this location at all costs. The spicy chicken was good though and had a kick. Enjoyed this chicken more than Popeyes.

Just don’t get the smokehouse, it was so slimey the texture was like it was raw, I don’t think it was raw but the slimey texture and taste made it inedible, sides and desserts are great though

Horrible customer service. If you dont speak Spanish they could careless to talk to you. Refrying obviously old chicken right in front of us. Placed a mobile order why I was 3 cities away. Did this because I was seriously in a time crunch and needed to feed the family. Just to arrive there after 25 mins for them to have the order up on their order board but not prepare it at all and I was told I would have to wait then told verbally they didnt prepare it. We love churches chicken. Have Popeyes literally im walking distance but we always prefer churches. First and last time ever going to this location though.

Filthy place when we went there last week. It was raining and it was pouring in there all over including where the food is prepared, so grossed. They were still serving food while the water was dripping from the ceiling around the food some went in the fryer. I old the manager that was health hazard contaminated chicken they're serving......smh, they showed no care in the world I contacted and filed a report with HQ I hope they did something I will never go there again.

Went here recently and was highly disappointed. The staff were busy overplaying around and I had to repeat my order a few times. Customer service is poor, and like other comments have mentioned, the food is always old, dry, burnt, or reheated. Today after receiving my order in the drive thru, I parked my car and went inside the establishment for a refund. I spent my money elsewhere. Church's chicken is delicious when it's fresh, so if you know of a good location, stick to that one. Avoid this location at all costs.

This is not a good place to come. I have to order here often not by choice and everytime is bad. The biscuits are more like crackers I mean in size, super small 1 bite for a kid. Employees dont all wash hands and when asked to or about it they asked why they needed too. The worst is when they mess up the order and you call them out on it They get a attitude like you did something wrong. Then they make sure to take their time will making your order and portions will be the smallest and oldest they have. Just a bad place, still have always tipped and never been rude.

Terrible customer service and disappointing food. On occasion we've ordered from other locations and the food wasn't bad. The other locations have some of my good french fries and biscuits. But, this location never again. They left us sitting at the pickup window so long my daughter thoughts they forgot us. Then, she added a drink to my special without asking me if it wants to upgrade my order. Then, attitude because I didn't want it. The Honey butter chicken tenders were dry, no honey here and they'd smelled like old cooking oil, not properly cooked inside either. The Mac n cheese had burnt cheese and the container was melted like she microwaved it. I tossed the entire meal into the garbage. And, yes, it also tasted like old oil.

He asked for the managers phone number she gave it to him and did not care. He asked for the managers phone number. She did not care at all. When I arrive to pick up my order, it was an online order. She said its not ready 5 minutes then I waited five minutes then after 10 minutes asked her about my order she said, don’t you see we are too busy I said I’ve been waiting here too long she said I don’t care and because you are complaining it’s going to be another 15 minutes so I said I’m calling DoorDash she was like I’m calling the police. I’m like I need my order. She said you can cancel. I’m like I’m not canceling because I need to get paid for my time she was like I don’t care I’m too busy for the only orders. She said she was too busy to prepare my online order so I waited waited too long. Horrible service. Her employees were looking at me feeling so bad they said that this goes on and on and on all day they are not happy at one test to stop. I felt bad for her employees because they told me how bad they feel working there. I’m so sorry for you guys. She needs to go. She is a horrible, horrible, miserable person. I’m talking about the manager tonight. If you need more info about this, you can text me back I would collaborate because I hate to see this kind of customer service. I’m sorry for the owner. We are a part of this wonderful community here in Wrigley, but , this churches always forget to give you your entire order that you paid for. I would like for once to get my entire order before leaving. This is not the first time that this type of service happens in our community.

I waited in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes.The price of the food was $3.69. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and the change is $16.31. The cashier gave me $11.31. I parked my car right away went inside with the receipt and show the window cashier her mistake, she gave me the look of death, like it was my fault for bothering her. She quickly gave me the correct change, threw it in my hands and didn't even say sorry. I will never go to Church's Chicken again!

The latest manager (older Indian lady) loves to close super early. She'll lock both doors and have someone put cones to block drive-thru. So beware ya'll... he workers used to be really friendly. Took about 30 minutes to get my $5 meal which consisted of to chicken pieces. Are at the restaurant and regularly overheard the staff starting to drive through customers that they were out of various products. Went to to the counter to all for a cup of water and it took about ten minutes before one of the staff even acknowledge the fact that I was there. The food itself was nothing special. I went through the drive thru today and ordered the 9 piece tenders original recipe and got a mix of Spicy and Original recipe. The spicy pieces were noticeably spicier,colder, tougher than the rest. old pieces that had been around a while. Check your food before leaving.

I believe anyone in the counter should be courteous and clear in communicating to the client about their order. Our number was called and there were two bags on the counter. Employee said there you go so we took both bags and left. They come running out and wanted to know why we took both bags like we were stealing it...huh?

We tried ordering three times and she kept getting it wrong, then saying "wait one second" then going silent for five minutes, then we'd repeat the order, she'd repeat it wrong, then tell us to wait, until we gave up and drove forward, then had to wait behind two cars, and couldn't back out since there were cars behind us. We left with no food.

The lady who took our order was very nice told us about a special that wasn't posted. Didn't think to look at our food before leaving. Chicken was burnt 5 out of the 10 pieces, Mac and cheese was burnt like the scraped the pot to get it so couldn't eat that. The mash potatoes and okra was good. Every single time I come they are super rude. They always get my order wrong and give attitude when I address the problem. I don’t understand the need to be so rude to the customers. Every now and then it’s understandable to have a bad day or moment but EVERY single interaction I’ve had has not been nice. Especially Holly and the older mexican lady and the younger black woman. The only reason I go back is because my daughter is autistic and loves their food. If it wasn’t for her I would never return here.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Customer service. The empty parking lot and empty drive thru, should've been a huge red flag! But noooooo I just had 2 go against my gut feeling. The black girl shouldn't be taking orders, she shouldn't be working in ANY establishment that deals with customer service. According 2 the manager, multiple customers have already complained about her, so why is she still there?! Corporate! GET RID OF THIS TOXICITY!!
