Great pupusas,flavor, amount inside good. Tasty curtido and salsa. Took a mexican friend and he ordered three pupusas which are big by the way,he stayed quiet and clean the plate!! PAN DULCE IS THE BOMB,GREAT FLAVOR !!

All the servers here are phenomenal, especially Marina. The food is fantastic, and the environment is great. It feels like visiting family: great food, great service, and great conversation. They get to know each customer and always remember you and your order when you come in!

So glad I finally stopped in after having moved to the neighborhood! I haven't been able to find an authentic spot for Salvadoran cuisine since the gem in Reseda...well here it is, down the street! Customer service that makes you feel at home, welcoming to stay a while in their little cozy kitchen and Market. Brittney was kind, very helpful, and genuine (her service with a smile sold me to return if not for the delicious food!) The food met and exceeded my expectations: fresh, authentic, and filling...you cannot go wrong with their menu, not a large menu- but has everything you need to enjoy the flavors of Salvadoran food and culture right here in long Beach! I'll be back to enjoy breakfast and dinner next! Thank you La Guanaquita!!!

My fave pupusas are the chicharron con queso 🤤 they’re amazing!! Freshly made! Their “ensalada”drink is the bomb 😮‍💨 their pollo frito con tajadas is delicious as well! I still need to try the rest of their menu 🤤

I was very disappointed with my experience here. I came in with my service dog and was immediately told that dogs weren’t allowed. I explained that my dog is a service animal, which under California and federal law means I do not need to provide “papers” or special ID. Despite that, the staff demanded proof and told me I couldn’t stay without it. These are petty rude. “Asking for documentation is not only unnecessary but also against the ADA. Businesses in California are only allowed to ask two questions: whether the dog is a service animal required because of a disability, and what tasks the animal is trained to perform. “

Bad experience pass weekend I bought sweet bread It seems that the bread was made with expired flour and it even had a bad smell. I had to throw it away. I don't know how they have the courage to sell it like that. !!!!!!
