I ordered the fried oyster Po'Boy. I really enjoyed the sandwich! I was looking for a certain taste for the oysters, and I was not disappointed! They were nice and crispy with just the right seasoning! I look forward to coming back and enjoying more of those delicious oysters! Also, the staff there were very pleasant. I WILL be back soon! Thank you for making my first visit to Fish Bone a very positive experience!

My first time eating here. The food was extremely good, well seasoned. I hate that I’m just barely trying this place. I ordered the fried fillet of sole, hush puppies with greens. Surprisingly the collard greens were good. I will definitely be back.

First time here. Forgot my glasses and couldn’t read the menu but Cashier Naay was very professional and gave me a concise summary of the menu. Great customer service. Fish was nice and hot, lightly breaded, not at all greasy with just a hint of residual spice. I will be back and would recommend you. Good portions, price and quality.

Great place! I was on my break from work, and I found this place driving on Willow, so I decided to try it out. I was impressed With the fast service, the price and the attentiveness of the employees. The female cashier was very polite. I tried their lunch special. It was really good. The cat fish was delicious. Hush puppies are the best I've ever had. Really good prices for a plate that came with fries, 3 pieces of fish, hush puppies and shrimp. The Tartar sauce has a different flavor from other tartar sauces. 👍🏼👍🏼 The black beans are not the greatest. Fried oysters were delicious too.

I'm drinking the juice from the Greens(leftovers). It's delicious like the Tartar Sauce. The Tarter Sauce is A± not watered down like some fish markets without Lousiana roots. Authentic Southern Girls Dessert. Fried or Grilled Salmon. Just Outstanding.

I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed by the young lady behind the counter( I later learned that this was the owner) Meashie Forgive me if I'm wrong. I picked up one of their take home menus and everything looked good I was really hungry So I asked if she would stop me if I was ordering way too much food. She over the menu and fresh fish choices then just ask me to tell her what I wanted and she was gonna put together theThe best deal package which was awesome all their fish is fresh you pick it out of the case and you get it back as fish chips so I went with the snapper, Fries, shrimp a salad And I can't forget the dessert the peach cobbler which was incredible. When the order was ready she made sure that I had all the right sauces And what nots making sure the order was complete. Customer service was top-notch but that's not what it felt like it was more like you were having a meal with very good friends and they were just Making sure that you got everything that you needed to enjoy there great home cooked meal. Everything was fantastic I truly can't wait to go back.

At best, this place is ok and worth trying if you love fish fry. I thought I would try a new place that's close to me, but I think I will keep driving up to the #1 Fish Market near Market and Atlantic. This place has better service for sure, but the other place gets you more bang for your buck and hits home with what you expect from a fish fry spot. Service: 10/10 The service was decent, everyone was really friendly. The food did take a bit longer, but it was ready within a reasonable timeframe considering it was made fresh and there were only one or two people ahead of us. Ambience: 10/10 Everything looks really clean, and it's spacious with a good amount of indoor seating. Food: 7/10 I had higher expectations, but unfortunately, the seasoning fell short. While not terrible, the slightly overcooked fish was a bit disappointing.

Came in here for a lunch special. My oh my! Way too delicious to walk out still kinda hungry 😞 But now i know to get the dinner special instead. I actually ended up here because the Indian restaurant was closed. A relative of mine had got food here before and was satisfied (it means a lot because this relative is picky) so I decided to give it a try. It was evening time and I didnt feel like cooking for myself. The cashier was friendly and answered my questions without seeming bothered. The food was cooked fresh so the wait time was reasonable and understandable. I was satisfied with the amount of food and the taste. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Had the red snapper & catfish and it was very savory and well breaded. The oysters were very good too as well as the red beans & rice and fries. Some woman named Star, saying she knows the owner, was telling me this was good on the way out; I don't trust her judgment in food any more. This fish was dry and salty. The potato salad and cole slaw was good though, but not exactly what you come here for. Customer service by the lady in the front was top-notch and the cook didn't stray far from his window to give you reassurance he is trying to get your order out. I would say there are better places to eat, but not in the area; we had somewhat high hopes but not quite this.

I got the fish, shrimp and oyster meal. It comes with 2 sides. They didn't have the only side I wanted which was French fries. All the fried food was fried too hard especially the fish. It literally cut the top of my mouth. The potato salad wasn't good and the oysters were grossly huge. I was not greeted when I walked in and I asked for ketchup and hot sauce. Earlene literally repeated it back to me and still didn't give me ketchup. I had them when they were off Artesia and it was Bomb. This time I felt like it was a waiste of $25. Will be my last time

It was my first and last time there. I went on a recommendation from my niece. I ordered the catfish lunch with fries. The cashier opened my food to show me my order to make sure it was correct. She said they were required to do this. It looked and smelled great. I sat down to eat and immediately notice the fries taste different. They were sweet and had a mixture of pepper, salt & sugar. So, I went back to the counter and asked if the fries had sugar on them. They said yes, it was their special blend. I said this is something the customer needs to know. Some people are diabetic. I just happened to be pre-diabetic. In my opinion this was a marketing failure on their part. A simple sign that states sugar is one of the ingredients in their special seasoning and it's used on their fries. This just might prevent someone from getting ill. My fish didn't have that special seasoning. Thank God!

I have a real problem when business won't take orders when they are technically open. If you want to deny someone an order who walks in 15 minutes before you close just CLOSE at 5:45! If I can walk inside, I should be able to order. Otherwise, just lock the door and close up. If your hours say open and I DRIVE to your business to spend money as a hungry patron I don't expect to be turned away. Not returning.

I'm sad to say after coming here for years I can't bear going back. Although the food is delicious and freshly made the customer service is intimidating. I've notice through the years when taking my order the staff is very monotone and uncomfortable. Today I order my online order to be ready at a certain time for pick up point to be 45 mins late. The staff didn't apologize nor acknowledge they were so late on preparation. What really bothered me the most is they ran out of pies and didn't offer a refund or a exchange. It felt as of they took my money without a care. I felt robbed. I hate to write this review but it's true and hopefully once this is read they'll able to provide better service to all because the food is good. Sadly this day is the last I'll go back.

I walk in smells good, but turned around and left right away because how bad the service, employee in the front was very slow that took like 6 minutes to be acknowledged. After that I believe the manager showed up and she was very rude to a customer for trying to use the restroom, he was told dont just walk in there and use as you please you need to ask first. Completely lost my appetite

Went to pick up food around 7:45 they close at 8. The owner yelled at me we are closed causing me an headache as his voice rang loudly through the door, even though the light had been on around a minute before. The restaurant closes at 8 pm. How are you closed 15 mins before? Even if the food is good I wouldn’t dare step one foot back into this restaurant or even look its direction twice. I wouldn’t even dare place an order on DoorDash even if the delivery is free. That is no way to speak to potential customers; the behavior of the staff came off as rude, aggressive and unprofessional and reflects poorly on the business. Someone else walked in right after me and they said nothing them. The only upside is we saved money by not visiting this place and supporting a rude business even if it is local.

Placed my order online for a 12:30pm pickup on Tuesday, 24th. No one is here. No one is picking up the phone. I paid for an order and I can't get my money back.
