Z's Crazy Good

I’ve been eating Zs food since it was Zs crazy good on Monterey pass road. It’s my favorite casual place to eat the breakfast is amazing comfort food that I’m not tired of eating. I think I’ve gotten their breakfast at least 3 weekends in a row now. The prices are reasonable the food is good. The place is so clean and the staff is so friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to everyone, they also have a lot of parking space.

In dining,, great.. COVID protocols. Widely spaced tables and outdoor seating with umbrellas. Food fantastic...ordered the chicken kabob and lula combo plate, both tasty and tender, .the rice pilaf is fluffy, only the pepper was too charred. The gyro was yum, thinly sliced, it was so perfectly sliced I don't think it was off the spit...but good...the traditional hummus tasted like garlic, loved it. Highly recommend!!

Omg...my new favorite spot. If you have to go gluten-free & low carb, their burger bowl is the perfect choice. Basically, it's the burger without the bun, served in a bowl. I ordered a bacon avocado burger with grilled onions. Didn't miss the bun at all. Perfectly seasoned beef patty and and thick 🥓 bacon. I'll be back!

Stopped by yesterday just to check out this new place I keep driving by. I ordered the lemon pepper wings. Delicious! Plump and crunchy with perfect seasoning. Will have to come back and try other things on their very diverse menu.

This is our favorite spot for chicken and beef kebob plates! The meat is always tender and juicy, and the rice is amazing! Get the combo beef and chicken with cilantro habanero hummus. You won't be disappointed!

Stopped into Z’s and had the best breakfast! My boyfriend and I both ordered the chilaquiles and were very happy. Great coffee and homemade oatmeal cookies too. They have fresh squeezed OJ as well. We will definitely be back to Z’s.

My first time here. Service was great. Food was delicious. I got a combo kobob plate. I will definitely come again. They have a really big menu.

5 of us went after our Ciclavia ride. We all enjoyed to tasty and fresh burgers and crispy fries. The asada burger was OK...and the pińa and Jamaica drinks were a little too sweet. We will be back!

The pancakes were delicious and so we're the French toast. My partner ordered the beef kabob plate. The meat was full of flavor with the right amount of crisp. Rice and Habanero hummus were on point too. Staff was friendly as well we will be back!

Z’s Meal #204 did not disappoint! For the price, the portions are generous, and the quality is impressive. The beef was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning that paired perfectly with the pilaf rice, hummus, and fresh vegetables. The atmosphere added to the experience, with plenty of seating and a welcoming, attentive staff. Highly recommend!

Nice staff (minus the short gordita Latina girl asking inappropriate questions, who's always on her phone). Average prices. Decor is nice and has a retro feel. Nice location. Clean place. Panoramic view of the intersection. Lots of tables. High tables available. Good seating comfort. Outdoor seating available. This place is almost like a casual restaurant. Not too busy, easy to find a seat. Easy to find parking. They have the good soda fountain :) Food: The burgers are big, delicious, and juicy, but I wish the lettuce was less drippy with sauce. Cons: Some of the food items, I feel, aren't worth the price for what you get. The burritos tend to be underwhelming. A major con is that I have to constantly be on the lookout for physical contaminants in my food. In the recent months I've been eating here, I spotted 2 physical contaminants in my food: one was what looked like fake fur, the other was some kind of really brittle metallic curl. I can imagine the fake fur was from morning shift prepping food and wearing some kind of jacket. I don't own an animal with this fur color. I have no clue where or what the shiny metallic curl is from. When I poked it, it disintegrated, maybe it's from the stove but I don't know why it's so brittle. I can't imagine someone wearing a shiny silver dress to work in a kitchen lol. I thought maybe a metallic sponge but the curly was too fine and brittle. Overall: This place has great food. I will be coming back but I will continue to inspect what I eat. I could easily give this place a 5 star if I didn't feel the need to compulsively inspect my food :P I'd definitely recommend this business. Good job :) but please handle and prep the food better. Wear appropriate clothes and accessories for a restaurant.

To start of me, my 2 sisters and parents came here as a quick eat after her game. We got 5 meals and the total was $83.89. My sister(10) got #17 which was a Denver omelette with potatoes and sourdough bread. She loved the food and ate more than she usually does. The omelette was very cheesy and already loved sourdough bread. My dad up next! He got #131 which was a Vegan Pita wrap with a combo house salad. He gave it a 3.5 out of 5 (literally what) because they had no appetizers ☹️ I don’t agree with him put he actually loved his food( this man was tearing it up saying we wish we had his food) anyways he didn’t like that he had to remind the employees to get his tea for him and that they gave him a plastic straw to stir his hot tea. But overall he loved the vibes and food(which is surprising because he’s very critical) After that my step mom got #215 which was a grilled salmon with cilantro habanero. She gave the place a 5 out of 5 🤩. She said the environment was welcoming and it’s very clean, the staff is nice and helpful, and the food perfect, exactly what she wanted.(she also tore up that food). My other sister gave this place a 4 of 5, she said the food is good tho. Last person is me and I’m disappointed that I didn’t get something else because I only got French toast, fruit and eggs. But it was delicious, lil plain but really good. Anyways this place was great and I hope you try it out!

Worst pastrami sandwich I've ever had, 99% of the meat was tough, fatty and inedible, the bread it was on was so toasted it also couldn't be eaten. Now ill have to eat this salad ... :( def dont recommend the pastrami

Too many options to get a good grasp my gf got a bagel and I got the ground beef kabobs. They were both pretty good I recommend the kabobs they come in a large plate with rice and hummus.

They took over 40 minutes to get all of our food out. They forgot my fries and the kids meal took like 45 minutes. The chilaquiles were put in a to-go container when we asked to eat in. Terrible

Kabobs and chicken teriyaki mediocre , small portions for a big price. The burgers are the only that that are tolerable. If you want kabobs, seek somewhere else.

Food was not good, bacon looked like it was cooked ahead of time and was sitting there for a while. The Monte Cristo was soggy and had an odd flavor to it. I cannot see myself going there again.

Sky High Prices!!! It's Ridiculous, $15 for a Turkey Avocado Sandwich!! Many items are in the $17 range, some are lower. And NO Coca Cola!!!! Very Bad!!!

came with my family, around 6:30 7:00 pm. last saturday ..the guy told us we weren't able to sit down inside because it was party size. but it wasn't. he was in a rush and probably didn't wanted to clean. all soda tasted nasty. no gas in it. it was just water. and the jamaica and horchata had no flavor either... guy was on the phone the whole time and kept staring at us and made us feel uncomfortable, so we didn't even enjoyed the food.. bad service. never coming back.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. I’m never coming to this place ever again due to rude and nasty employees. Yesterday I told my mom to go in person to order me a plate and the employee did not pay attention to the fact that we just wanted 1 plate not 2. We never said we wanted 2 plates the stupid employee assumed that just because my dad was with my mom but my mom always stated that we wanted only 1. She was charging my mom $30 and we were confused as to why if 1 plate cost about $15. As my mom told her that we never ordered 2 plates only one, the employee was rude to my mother and took both plates back to the kitchen which was suspicious and as my mom came home to give me my plate I noticed that there was less rice as usual. This is very disgusting because you can see the malice and pettiness in this employee’s behavior and it all makes sense. The reason why they took both plates back to the kitchen was to remove and give us less rice on the plate she gave my mother. I am never coming here again.The employees probably spit on peoples food too.

Food was very bland and semi-cold when arrived to table. Weren’t offered any condiments with breakfast. Asked for cutlery when tea arrived to table and server didn’t know what the word cutlery meant. Order cracked shell eggs received liquid eggs after being charged extra for shell eggs. Only positive experience in this was the tea was great!!
