wow what more could i say. amazing food amazing beer amazing experience 10/10 would come again
Great service and delicious, authentic dim sum!
Great service and food! So glad they opening up one in LIC.
👍
First time to the store since the grand opening! Really clean and offered both Dim Sum and wok-based dishes. Great addition to the neighborhood
Excellent food , great location. And a perfect place for lunch or dinner Very friendly staff. You won’t be disappointed and the prices are great
The food here was so good and was great for dining with a group! The service was great and all of the staff were super friendly. I would definitely come here again! 5 stars!!!!
Absolutely amazing food and even better service. The general tsaos chicken and the cucumbers are my absolute favorite. Location is so charming and the drinks are awesome.
Amazing soup dumplings! Rivals the biggest names in Chinatown. So happy to have in our neighborhood!
Food is fresh and taste good! Highly recommend! Hope they can improve the portion then it’ll be perfection!
Take Out or Eat In. The dim sum is top notch. I suggest the tea with your meal as it enhances the flavors.
Great food! Salt and pepper pork chop was perfect! Friendly staff..will definitely come back!
Dim sums are very hot and fresh! Food were also great. Gentle service!
Delicious from dim sum to entrees to dessert
Great taste in food with attentive service. Will be coming back soon! Would recommend to friends and family.
Our waiter Raymond is pleasant and very good in his details about the restaurant. We’re planning an anniversary event and now considering this place
New dim sum in LiC! So yummy very busy but delicious
Easy to try a lot of new foods here, satisfied my dumpling craving well
Great food, great service, great ambience with the characteristic chitter chatter of a dim sum restaurant.
Wholly moly total authentic and absolutely fantastic dim sum! Love it!!!
When For Dinner With The Wife For The First Time To Dim Sum Palace A Relatively New Restaurant In LIC. To Say I Had An Amazing Time Would Be An Understatement, From Start To Finish We Both Had Excellent And Attentive Service From The Staff. Delicious And Flavorful Food, That Cake Out Relatively Quickly But Did Not In Any Way Feel Rushed. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Will Be Returning Regularly For More Lovely & Amazing Dinners 👍 Recommend The Spicy Crispy Beef And Crispy Garlic Spare Ribs. 🔥
Unpaid review: this is the only authentic Cantonese restaurant in Long Island City. Dim sum, stir fry, 豉油雞,鹽焗雞。 Maggie the hostess is professional and her staff is attentive.
One of my favorite restaurants in LIC. I especially love the pork bao and the chicken congee. you must also try the coconut jelly.
This dim sum place is super solid. It’s in a beautiful old bar with original looking fixtures, the service was excellent, and the food is great. Loved the mango mojito, the pan fried turnip cake, the sticky rice with pork and sausage, and all the dumplings we ate were delicious. Straight ahead, yummy dim sum at totally decent prices.
First time at Dim Sum Palace - I love the food and service here! The atmosphere was so welcoming. The waiters/waitress were super helpful and nice. Food was amazing - we order quite a lot of food! We will definitely come again!
So glad Dim Sum Palace opened in LIC! The space is clean, classy, and way bigger than I expected. Food came out fast, everything was super fresh, and the service was on point— even during the weekend brunch rush. Definitely adding this to the regular rotation
I’ve been to other locations of this local chain, and this one has the same freshly made and tasty dim sum, plus classic tavern architecture from the 130 year old bar/grill that used to be here. The cocktail we had was very nice as well.
One of the better dim sum experiences I’ve had in NYC. The selection was impressive, with a wide variety of both classic and unique dishes, all freshly made and full of flavor.
We had a quick dim sum lunch here and everything was delicious! Big portions here too, so great value. Service was fast which we really appreciated.
Happy Dim Sum Palace opened here. Very good quality. Be sure to arrive a little early to avoid the wait on the weekend. Little sad they ran out of the turnip cake but everything else was good.
I come here pretty regularly at night and their dim sum always tastes made to order even at 11pm. Highly recommend the fried dim sum dishes especially the fried garlic spare ribs. Definitely the spot for dim sum I would say one of the best in nyc. I liked it so much I did bday party here and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. There's been an increase in traffic here I've noticed over the past couple weeks but I've never had to wait for a table.
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. Dim Sum Palace delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The rustic, cozy ambiance paired with a surprisingly impressive bar selection made for the perfect setting. We ordered a few dishes to share: • General Tso’s Chicken – crispy, flavorful, with just the right kick • Chicken Lo Mein – comforting and perfectly sauced • Chicken Dumplings & Bamboo Shoot Dumplings – fresh, delicate, and bursting with flavor To complement it all, we had the Beijing Mule and the Mango Mojito — both cocktails were refreshing and incredibly well crafted. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they care about the service they provide, and it shows. 10/10 recommend. Whether you’re going for dim sum favorites or a full dinner and drinks, this spot checks all the boxes. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Delicious dimsum and specialty dishes in Queens. Open late and you don't have to travel all the way to Manhattan or Flushing. This place is a life saver for me, because they can serve congee all day. This is the best spot for filling tastey food and they can serve until late in the evening. They do a great job keeping the food consistently tastey and with wide operating hours. They will even do special requests. Great spot after a movie date too. Thank you Dim Sum Palace LIC
a nice addition to lic! i’ve been to other locations but the lic one really surprised me - everything came out fresh! got seated and served quickly on a sunday. highly recommend coming early, we got lucky since we came as a party of 2 whereas everyone had bigger parties! sad that they were out of the steamed rice rolls :( but we got spared ribs, shrimp dumplings, sticky rice, siu mai, steamed pork buns - all were delicious. happy to come back again and get my dim sum kick here!
I had an amazing experiencing dining in at Dim Sum Palace in LIC. The staff was friendly, service was quick, atmosphere was relaxed and cozy and most importantly...the food was delicious (I had the beef and broccoli lunch special)! I got the opportunity to chat with Raymond, Restaurant Manager, for a bit and he was super warm and friendly. Overall great experience and I'd highly recommend this place to everyone I know! Come check it out!!
I came here for dinner and it exceeded my expectations! There were a lot of dimsum options to choose from as well as classic Chinese dishes. I recommend the shrimp dumplings and shumai. The atmosphere was clean and cozy and the service was great. Everyone was super friendly, and they open until late. I'll definitely be back!
Edit: Its weird, like every third time we come here we order a dish off the menu that isn't dim sum and 1 dish will always have ZERO seasoning. Literally flavorless. We got the crab fried rice and they seem to have forgotten the salt/soy sauce, whatever. Ordered the white nappa cabbage dish with ham, and again, no ham, no flavor. Our neighborhood has been really missing out on proper Cantonese food, so I am thrilled Dim Dum Palace moved here. I recently ordered the beef chow fun, my wife's favorite dish that we previously can't seem to get right around here compared to many places in Flushing. They did an absolutely stellar job. Ordered at 3 pm. The rice noodles were fresh and bouncy, very thick, and chewy. There was an excellent degree of wok hei to the flavor. So happy to have this dish done properly, looking forward to getting it again. At $20 it's a bit pricey but given I'd have to travel 45 MI it's to Flushing otherwise it's well worth it.
Wonderful food!, too many choices lol. We really enjoyed our experience, but I would recommend reservations we had about a 20-minute wait for a table for 4. Food comes very fast so be careful how much you order because our table filled up really quickly with multiple dishes of dim sum.
My partner and I stopped here after work for a nice dinner. We sat near a window in the front, it was super relaxing and quiet. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and helpful. The portions of the main dishes were big enough for us to share, we also ordered some smaller plates to share. The food was fresh and not overtly oily. It’s legit. We will definitely be returning again soon for dim sum, they have so many options!
No longer needing to go to the city for one of the best dim sum spots in NYC! Great service and tasty dim sum all around! Also got the chow fun and it was large size - great for sharing with a group of loved ones. Will come back for more.
In my opinion the Jackson Avenue location of Dim Sum Palace is the best looking (renovation wise) and the food is great depending on the time you go in since each chef has a different cooking style however nonetheless the food is great. Service is commendable and not to mention the drinks? AMAZING. I spent my birthday there and i’m impressed by their service. Songs, singing and the huge cake. I recommend going after 5 for the best food experience flavor wise. One thing however is that it is definitely not wheelchair accessible. There are vegetarian options and everything is labeled clearly. The price is okay and portions are somewhat generous.
Fine, fast sit-down dining with tons of delicious small plates on a big menu, plus savory entrees, and solid, well-made cocktails to boot. Definitely enough for the hard to please, and for anyone who wants the classics, it’s easy. Great new spot, close to the E and G trains. Kind service.
We've been coming here consistently since it opened. The food has remained excellent, the service attentive, and the quality consistent. Items are well priced, especially for the quality and dining environment. I highly recommend checking this place out.
Tried a bunch of their dim sum for delivery. All the dumplings and the turnip cakes were delicious. The only thing I could do without next time was the scallion pancake. It might be great fresh out of the kitchen, but it did not hold up well for takeout.
I really like this restaurant. The food is delicious and very fresh, and the portions are huge! Four of us were completely full for just $120. We came back again the next day when we were in the area.
Update: we visited the restaurant again and this time was very happy with the food and service. The Shanghai Fried Rice was especially tasty. The food is good, service staff are friendly and attentive but service quality falls short. They forgot one dish we ordered even if it was clearly marked on the selection menu. I also ordered two dishes to take out and only found out when reaching home that one of two was omitted.
Have been Dim Sum Palace‘s long-time customer for the 56th location. Very happy to have a new location here in LIC. As a Cantonese myself, I can say the taste of food here is pretty decent. In addition, the service here is good and waiting staffs are pretty attentive to orders. Service is quick and food is fresh and made hot.
I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices are at Dim Sum Palace in Court Square, especially by LIC standards, where I'm used to seeing menus with inflated prices. The flavors here were absolutely on point, and as someone who loves Chinese dim sum, I appreciated the wide variety of offerings on the menu. LIC doesn’t have many restaurants that offer an extensive dim sum selection, so I was thrilled to see Dim Sum Palace open a branch in the neighborhood. Everything we tried was delicious, but a few dishes really stood out. From the à la carte menu, the salt and pepper pork chops were a standout—crispy, thinly sliced, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned (I’m Asian and these dishes weren’t salty by my standards!). Among the dim sum, I especially loved the shrimp spring rolls, pork and shrimp siu mai, and the salt and pepper shrimp. The only thing to note is that the space is a bit small, and it can get super packed on weekends, so be prepared for a wait. That said, the food is well worth it. Great flavors, good portions, and refreshingly fair prices. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Absolutely loved this place! The dim sum was fresh, flavorful, and came out piping hot — just the way it should be. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Stopped in with my wife for a quick drink and some snacks at the bar. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It was nice to see regulars popping in to grab their lunch—gave the place a great neighborhood vibe.
Yay! Dim Sum Palace has arrived in LIC with fabulous dim sum and Hong Kong style cuisine all day until 2:30 am! We loved the dumplings, duck, and Peking pork chops. Lychee martinis are refreshing!
The food was tasty and presented as expected. The Mai Tai drink was excellent. I wish the dim sum portions were bigger for the price, however. This is a great addition to the LIC community.

Im glade we finally have a local place to satisfy our craving for DimSum. Happen to go in this snowy morning. Very nice surrounding, very nice indoor atmosphere, very friendly service, hot dishes, and variety choices for tea and cocktails. If you can consider providing more vegetarian dishes and halal meat dishes, im sure you can serve an even wider local popularity. Definitely will go back and recommend to colleagues, friends and neighbors. Keep the good job.🙏💓

My friends and I enjoyed a really great dim sum meal here for Lunar New Year. It was our first time dining here and overall I found the food delicious and I was satisfied with everything that we tried. It’s a very solid option for dim sum if you don’t want to go to Manhattan or Flushing! I will definitely be coming back.
A really surprising place mixing both the atmosphere of an American pub and the smell of delicious baos and dim sum. Quite weird at first but we were not disappointed by the dishes nor with the service. Food was delicious !! So nice to have such an address in this neighborhood ! I will come back.

Food and prices were good.
Decent flavors and attentive staff, slightly overpriced for dimsum.
The food was good and the restaurant filled up quickly. They opened recently so I think they’re still working out some kinks, but I’d still come back. They ran out of some of the dim sum items after we ordered, and one item never got served. But they were nice about updating the check at the end.
Good dim sum at a reasonable price. Nice staff too. Handy local restaurant.
got chow fun to-go after finishing lunch there and there was a sticker on the bell pepper. the food was overall good but seeing a sticker on the vegetables after almost finishing a meal was not pleasant Edit: Contacted the restaurant and they refunded me the entire meal! Amazing customer service on their end with the speedy responses and refund.
this meal was a good one for me, but that’s it - good. it wasn’t anything to rave about but just a good local dim sum place. i would be back but not in a rush. i would really give it a 3.5, i got seated right away which is great but they did forget my lo mien for a while, so i had to wait for that. but the servers were nice
Grand opening this week! We went for dim sum during weekday lunch and their service was pretty fast. The menu is the same as their other locations, but right now they have a few items not available, which they indicate on the menu. We really wanted the bbq duck/pork set but it was not ready during the lunch time. The ambience is great. They did some renovating to the existing restaurant that was there, and it turned out beautifully. There is ample seating for both smaller and larger groups. The tofu dish we got was reheated improperly though - I could taste the center of the filling being cold while the rest of it was steaming hot. Dumplings were good. Sweet/sour fish was good but needed to be crispier. Hope to come for dinner or weekend lunch in the future since a lot of the dishes might become more available. I think they're still working out the kinks but we are super excited for a full on dimsum and Cantonese option in the area.
Pretty good. Glad to have them In the neighborhood. Tried a few hallmarks. Sooo glad to have some rice rolls in LIC. And my fave coconut jello thing. Totally coming back to try some Shang hai stir fried noodles. Thanks dim sum palace

The food was good. A bit of a wait on Sunday brunch time. There was an altercation with a customer and homeless guy…ended with the customer kind of beating up the guy. The service was good, but they ran out of turnip cakes AND rice rolls. HOWEVER, the table next to us got turnip cakes when they were seated afterwards. I was upset because those are my favs.
Food was decent nothing spectacular though. Tim Ho Wan might be better. Service was extremely slow. 15min from being seated to a server greeting us. After that another 45min to get food and it came out one at a time. All said and done we were there 90min. They didn't have beef chow fun and rice noodle roll (X'd off menu). Beef shui mai was bland. Soup dumplings were flavorful. Pork spare ribs in black bean sauce were really chewy and not like they should be. Durian rollls were good. Really underwhelming from start to finish. Wouldn't go back - 2.8 ⭐️

I have eaten at the 46th street location more times than I can count. I was so excited for them to come to LIC and have been greatly disappointed. Tried this location 3 times and the quality and taste of the food is drastically different than their other location.
I have enjoyed past meals here (both in person and delivery). But just got takeout tonight and the pork shu mai was completely raw inside. Thankfully I spit out and didn’t ingest any but don’t plan on returning anytime soon.
Was excited at the prospect of good dim sum in LIC but this is not it unfortunately. Don’t expect push carts, interior is decorated American bar style and seems to be a relic from the previous tenant. The menu is pretty bizarre— no steamed rice rolls (crossed out), egg tarts, custard buns, pineapple buns, etc. Lots of what I consider dim sum staples were not available, while they did have Sichuan style soups + lots of dumplings. Equally surprising was the $8/pot of tea, first time I’ve seen that. Tried a couple dishes: - steamed spare ribs: flavor was fine but it was overcooked and chewy. - Beef stir fry flat noodle tasted like the wok was not hot enough and could have used more dark soy sauce. - Xian shui jiao was undercooked + pale in appearance. Also the smallest I’ve ever seen. Food was also expensive for what it was. Disappointing experience overall and won’t be back.
Another addition to the growing collection of Chinese restaurants in LIC -- but unfortunately quite a step below the many other delicious options in the area. I came for an early brunch on a Sunday, and there were plenty of tables available for our party of 2. I have to say, it is an interesting experience to order and eat from a Chinese dim sum menu while sitting in a restaurant with interior design that's still in the style of the old-time diner that used to occupy this space for the past century. We ordered some selection of dim sum options, which were largely pretty mediocre. The steamed spare ribs -- always a classic -- were a letdown. The meat was hard to chew, and the flavour just had very little depth (meat itself was bland and there was barely any flavour from the sauce). The turnip cake (usually one of my favourites) was similarly bland and dry. Chicken feet and the har gow (shrimp dumplings) weren't too bad. The shrimp dumplings were very juicy, but tasted a bit overcooked. The chicken feet were probably the highlight -- tender and juicy. The price point was also really high, not only for the amount and quality of food we had, but even just in comparison to the many, far better restaurants in the neighbourhood. I feel like this was just a rather disappointing experience overall, and I don't think I plan to come back in the near future.

Ate at their Times Square location, and liked the food there. The LIC location…;ordered 5 dim sum dishes, everything too soggy, no flavor, too little meat. Mostly dough. Need improvement.
Dim Sum Palace located @ 24-28 Jackson Ave near Court Square. Attempting to contact the restaurant there phone has been busy all evening. There website there is no way to order. According to Google open until 2:30 AM.
Very slow service, and the staff missed our order
Bartenders were extremely rude! Handed me closed bottles of prosecco and walked away. I was struggling to open them and it took a while to get their attention. When I asked for help, one bartender mumbled something to the other and they proceeded to laugh at me before opening my bottles.
I was really excited to see a dim sum place in lic. But if you have high blood pressure like me, be cautious of the food here. I noticed the dim sum dishes are mostly pre-made hence loaded with salt/sodium (for longer shelf life). I had a huge headache after eating here and my blood pressure became dangerously high.
horrible food. low quality. inauthentic. food made me feel sick. peeked into the kitchen and it will only be a matter of time before they receive a low rating for their handling of food. we ordered dim sum and everything was truly terrible. you could not pay me enough to come back here to eat. They add gratuity to bill so you cannot even choose how much to tip.
Very disappointing experience. The tripe tasted exactly like packaged konjac snacks from the supermarket—overloaded with MSG and seemingly unprepared. The chicken feet had a distinct sour, musty odor, reminiscent of an unwashed cloth or a steamed towel that had gone bad—very off-putting and certainly not appetizing. Would not return. Needs serious improvements in both food quality and cleanliness.
This was our second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The chicken feet we ordered had gone sour and were clearly not fresh. Although the staff replaced it with another one. We actually had a similar experience at the Manhattan 33 W 33RD ST. last year, where we were also served din sum that had gone sour. The food quality was unacceptable. We’re very disappointed and will not be returning in the future.
