Wow!!! It is a small quaint gem with a huge personality, tucked away in their original downtown, and owned by a husband and wife. He takes the orders and she does the cooking. Both have hearts of gold. A great added feature is their precious daughter joining you at your table and sharing her art. I travel for work and was introduced to this place and have never looked back!! I now plan my travel around at least one stop for lunch there. I crave this place when I am at home. I even have ordered to go to bring back to my family in Dallas. All ingredients are fresh and portions are huge. Seating is limited but that adds to the charm. I can't possibly say enough good about this place and the owners.
Another one of those places the locals know about. Situated in a tiny shop near the Gregg County court house, this place is absolutely amazing. 2 people run this shop between lunch and 2pm. They are extremely busy. But the food is worth the wait. If you want to have REAL THAI food, not that fast food or buffet garbage that most people THINK is asian. Try this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
I say this all the time but if I were be granted a last meal wish at any point in my life it would 1000000% be from here. Everything I’ve ever had was more than amazing. I’ve been hooked on the Tom Kah Gai soup for a good while now. It’s a bit pricey but I will pay whatever for some good food. The way she makes her version of Tom Kah is way better than any Thai place I’ve tried in the US. Love them.
Absolutely amazing!! I go here at least once a week, and the food quality has been exceptional every single time!! And the owners are great and always friendly!! It has a warm, cozy atmosphere that is great for small groups!! The wait is typically longer than normal, but well worth it for food that is far better than average. If you don't have the time to sit and relax, you can always call ahead and place your order to go (30 minute lead time needed usually). Just don't call on Tuesdays, because then the phones might be busy when I call to order my food...and it's too good to share!! :-)
Very friendly owners and very good food! Definitely satisfied my Thai cravings while visiting Longview. I ordered the Drunken Fried Rice and I'd definitely recommend it. Also, the food is made fresh basically in front of your eyes. This place seems to be a favorite among the locals, so if you've never been you should give it a try!
A little big city with a small town feel. Pat puts her heart into every dish with all fresh produce, and she NEVER disappoints! Easily my favorite restaurant. Definitely want to call ahead because it's all fresh, and they have been known to sell out for the day. The atmosphere is perfect, relaxed, and family oriented. Great for a date night sitting out on the patio, or just getting to take home and having a night in. Wish I could rate higher!
First things first - go early! but if you have to wait, it's worth it. The Drunken noodles are my favorite, but truly, anything you order here will be top quality and freshly made. The price may seem daunting, but we usually have enough left over to take home for another meal. The owners are hard working and friendly, so don't miss it. Best restaurant (of any kind) in Longview.
Fantastic Thai food. Do not expect quick service, friendly indeed, but food this good is a creation that takes time. Their hours are consistent for lunch but dinner is 1 night a week & the hours are based on how they feel the 1 night they offer dinner. But if you get in you are in for treat! They also do take out as well.
Great atmosphere. Owner and wife are so kind. The portions are big. Best place to try Thai food.
This is probably the one restaurant you have to try at least once if you live or are swing through Longview. I have been to many Thai places in Texas but this is probably the most authentic and delicious. The level of spice is truly perfect for those who like it spicy without losing any flavor. Don't worry they do have a non spicy option for those who just read the last sentence. They also offer yummy vegan dishes as well. The space they are in is a little small so finding seating can be difficult sometimes. Last, this my FAVORITE place to eat in Longview whether I get it to go or sit in the restaurant.
It’s been 8 years since I’ve been here. I used to be in consulting and came here every week with the team. It’s one of fondest memories with the amazing food and the rush to get in before it gets busy. I always order the spicy Thai basil and was glad to see little Thai house is still going strong
I happened to be in town for a festival and Lil Thai House came highly recommended. It DID NOT disappoint! Food was amazing and the overall vibe of the restaurant was great! There were 2 of us and we had the Drunken Noodles and Panang Curry~ just wonderful!
Delicious but a bit higher price than other Thai restaurants
The food is always wonderful, tons of fresh veggies! But my favorite thing is the family who runs it. They care so much about the community and they are always excited about some new artistic endeavor going on in their lives. They’re an inspiration. I’ve started collecting his wood turned mushrooms. I really love them.
It really is the best Thai restaurant!! Always fresh and excellent.
The food is amazing! The owners are wonderful people.
Not your average Place. Food and service was outstanding. Owners were very polite and friendly. Place is small, with an Austin vibe. However, they don’t share Austin political views and are on the “sane” side. A fact that I also appreciate. Food is made when you order it with nothing frozen. We’ll be back…haven’t ever had better Thai food anywhere.
I personally love this place. I only ever order their curries, which are excellent. They have a more homemade flavor which is unique. The atmosphere of the store is as unique as their curries. Lots of local art and some local odds and ends for sale like honey. I can't speak for their dishes except the curries. I usually am in and out pretty quick. but if you order something they do not sell often it can take them some time to make it since everything is made to order...
Food was delicious! We had the spicy beef egg rolls and Sweet and sour chicken plate. So good! Will definitely come back for more!
Lil Thai House has been a favorite of mine for years. They have the best Thai food in my opinion. The wife marries the flavors together extremely well in EVERY dish. I read reviews that stated some dishes were bland and not worth the $$$ I DISAGREE. One dish is enough for 2 people to share, but I split my dishes in half so I can indulge in the goodness later on or the next day. I've tried several dishes from years ago to current, and my favorite is chicken or shrimp pad Thai (hands down); the pad ped was so good, and the coconut soup was amazing and welcoming on the taste buds. My husband had drunken rice and drunken noodles on this menu. I say that because a few years ago they used to open for lunch and dinner, but now they're only open 11 to 2 for lunch Mon-Fri. (That's my only disappointment) I love the feel of the environment because it's like I'm in a quaint little eatery in Thailand. All three employees (which have ran the place for years together) are warm and inviting, friendly, and will help you with your food choices. I'll advise anyone who haven't ate here to GO CHECK THEM OUT. If you do frequent them venture out and try something different.
Great food and worth the wait! The owner is super cool. When it's slow (which isn't often) he'll come out and talk to the customers. His daughter is so sweet. She has her own space in the restaurant off to the side, but will occasionally come talk to the guests. Wonderful food, wonderful family owned, family friendly restaurant.
Good food and you get good portions for the price. Know going in that you will have to wait for your food since it's cooked to order. The owners are nice and friendly and the other diners are usually regulars so everyone talks between the tables. It's just a good place to go if you're not in a rush for lunch. Very relaxing.
Love, love, love this place!! I could eat here every day if I could. Prices might seem high but honestly the portions are huge and more than enough for two people to split a meal or for you to have fantastic leftovers later. Me and my hubby get the Chef's special fried rice with chicken, tofu, and extra veggies. I pick it up to go every Wednesday for our dinner that night and share one meal. I even split my portion with my 1.5 year old granddaughter who loves it!
Wonderful locally owned couple cooking up amazing Thai food for our East Texas area! They aren't open everyday but makes it so much more special when they are. A great lunch if you find yourself downtown. #GoogleGal
Ginger thai chicken was light and wonderful flavor. Pad Thai chicken was a heavier sauce but super delicious! Will, Pat and Timothy are amazing people. First time here and i’m extremely satisfied. Im happier than a puppy with two bones! Oh yeah and i got a BIG RED drink on ice… have not had one of those since i was a kid! Thanks Will!
The food was packed full of flavor, delicious! I enjoyed the Penang Curry and my husband liked his Pad Thai. I will definitely head there again. The owner is very friendly and helpful!
Just as the name would suggest it is in fact a Lil' Thai House. The have a great menu and fresh thai food cooked just for you. They are open for lunch but be prepared to wait becaus they can get pretty busy. Well worth the wait though. I had the Cashew Chicken and it was delicious as always. About 19.45 with a bottle of water, but with the quality of food and the portions you could probably make two meals out of it.
One of my favorite spots in and down town and just amazing food. Pineapple fried rice is amazing and the curry spiced items are amazing for those looking for an extra kick. 10/10 recommend.
Most excellent Thai food in East Texas. Don’t hesitate to order the spring rolls. Curries are to die for! Everything is made using the freshest ingredients. If you enjoy local spots, this is the one who will charm you and make you want to return as soon as possible.

If I could rate this place 20 stars I would! Literally loved everything about this place, the atmosphere was awesome, the man who took our order was super cool— and the food was delicious and fresh! 🍜
This place was awesome!!! I had the Tom Kah Gai soup and he had the drunken fried rice (beef). We will definitely be returning to try some other dishes.
actually heard about this little spot in downtown Longview from a random person I met all the way up in Alaska! They told me they make it a point to stop here every time they’re in Texas, so of course I had to give it a try—and wow, it really does live up to the hype. Easily the best Thai food in Northeast Texas. I’ve only had the Massaman curry so far, but it’s absolutely incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The portions are huge—one order of curry easily lasts me two meals. I always see people ordering the fried rice, and it looks amazing. The Pad Thai smells just as tempting, so I know I’ll be back to try more. The owners are so sweet and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The restaurant itself is small (only about 5–7 tables), so you may have to wait a bit for a spot, but it’s 100% worth it once you sit down. This is one of those hidden gems that’s worth going out of your way for—fantastic food, warm service, and huge portions. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
The owner checked me out and he was so nice, the food is GREAT. We ordered to-go and he came and opened the door for to leave because my hands were full. Very pleasant experience
I have visited Little Thai House a few times and have never been disappointed. The owner is always very friendly, will share some good wisdom and local knowledge if you chat with him. Cozy little restaurant that is only open 11-2 Mon-Friday. Love the Pad Thai, but if you need something lighter the Tom Yum is great as well. (It is not fast food, but fresh and welcoming for a good sit down converation)
Phenomenal! Just tried it for the first time and it was a great experience! Thai home style freshly made meals, it was an explosion of flavor, well seasoned. The pineapple i had was just filled with so much flavor. An experience ill have again on my next visit! Need to try it!

I gave it 4 stars because it was a cool little place and I liked the people that worked there, I have never ate Thai before so I have nothing to compare it to, and didn't really know what to order, we got the pineapple fried rice, not really for me, had like an Indian type smell and taste, the chicken in it was good but what ever the seasoning is kinda takes over everything, so not really a fan of thai
Ordered the Drunken Noodles with pork. Very good, very spicy. It was an enormous portion, fresh and hot. A little pricey, but quality food. Friendly service.
Simple menu and expect to go over $20 per person, for lunch, this may not fit well but they are only open for lunch. Once I received my food, it was piled on, large portions. Expect slower service and food during peak hours because there’s one person in front and one person in kitchen. Good and tasty. Expect to be there to sit and relax and wait for your lunch, not for quick pick up or quick lunch hour. Friendly but I wasn’t ready to pay that much for lunch with entree and water.
I was in the area again for work and wanted their fried rice which is so good! The cashier he is always so nice! Unfortunately this time my chicken fried rice was burnt and tasted like it…😞
The service was quick and friendly? My food was ok; my pad Thai tasted like it was made with fish sauce which can happen at some Thai restaurants. But the local at was killer. Check out the local vibe and the local art. Everyone else I was with lived their food. Specifically, try the peanut stir fry.
First time having Thai food. We got there before they open and we was the third person to order. We had to wait about 15 minutes. It was good and he was really nice. It was interesting to see all the art work they had on their walls.

Ordered pad Thai and fried rice - was just okay - it was actually very bland and we had to add a ton of soy sauce and chili sauce just to give it some taste. Service is great if they aren't super busy - as expected. Atmosphere is cool and a little funky - I like it.
Very disappointed with the food here. I had heard good things about this place so was anxious to try it. Maybe I didn’t order the right thing? Cashew chicken, which was very weird and unlike any cashew chicken I’ve had before. Cut-up orange in it, few cashews, and bland. Service was great. Not sure if I’ll be back to try something else yet.
I google this place wasn't far from where I was working. Placed my order with pork in my veggie plate it was a very long wait. Not a place to go for lunch when most people only get 30 minutes for lunch. I waited 1 hour and not that many people in the place. Nice cute place but the veggies were not cooked maybe 3 to 4 minutes. I will try them again if I hit the lottery my meal with nothing to drink 21.00 that's a little high for a lunch. But we have sky high prices on food as all Americans know by now. Vote Trump 2025
I want to like this place and support it, and even though I understand the long wait and the prices being on the high end, I am not impressed by all the key ingredients that were missing from traditional Thai staples like green chicken curry and Pad Thai. We were told they’ve been slammed the past two weeks but maybe some things should be taken off the menu if all you’re going to do is stir-fry a stack of noodles in pad thai sauce and make a green curry without any other vegetable than baby eggplants. There was the barest of smatterings of a bit of basil or a piece of onion or a sliver of green onion, but no bean sprouts or bamboo shoots or peppers, making these the literal poorest examples of Thai food I’ve had. They have plenty of stunning reviews, but I think they’re lacking ingredients now, and that makes for very disappointing dishes. ’

I went here hoping to find a cool place downtown to eat. I paid $20 for the pad Thai, which is a bit pricey but the portion size compensated for it, though it was still not worth it. It may have just been the worst dish I've ever ordered from a restaurant. The service was decent, but pretty slow.
