First visit. My daughter's choice. Anime lovers, so they ordered the Naruto noodles. The pork dumplin appetizers are my favorite. Served with a soy dipping sauce. I got the brisket noodles. Loved it. We went around 6 pm. The sun was hitting the glass, so it was pretty warm. Also, if you have trouble with your back or a bony behind, the stools are blocks of wood. Kind of uncomfortable. Overall, the place is a great choice. Sometimes different. I recommend it.
Overall, excellent quality food, service and atmosphere. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and prompt with service. The food looked appealing and tasted even better, and was not expensive. Restaurant decor was simple but well fitting, creating a pleasant dining experience. The dining area is relatively small, and Covid-19 restrictions allows for only 22 people to dine in (02/21/2021), and as such there are no empty tables between customers (if this is an issue, it is probably best to wait until the pandemic dies down a bit before visiting). Definitely worth a visit if you are in Longview and want something different.
Excellent place to eat. Loved the brisket fried rice. My husband ordered brisket Yakisoba. Kiddos ordered Ramen. The waiter was great. My only critique is you get four times more fried rice than the noodle portions. Other than that, amazing place to eat.
I’ve been here a few times and this is a great place to eat if you are craving soup or ramen. The pros: food is amazing (at least most of the ramen is) service is great (friendly staff with urgency) atmosphere is great for anime fans (I’m not) The cons: It is a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for, HOWEVER they do charge a premium for the smallest things such as add-ons or extra. Overall, if you are craving ramen, noodle, or something Asian, this place is a great spot. Good hangout spot with friends and just a nice little noodle shop. I took my friend who is from Japan here and he said this is the best homesick place in East Texas. He said it tastes almost exactly like home.
Can't say enough good things about this place...... food is always delicious and there pork Gyoza are some of the best ive found.... from the broth... to the cook on the noodles.. and the delicious meat. I'm always super late for lunch and I love the nice low light atmosphere... I enjoy being able to sit and watch a movie on my phone while I eat. 💯💯
My favorite restaurant of ALL time!! I get the death ramen and husband loves the combo yakisoba. It tastes great even to-go! I love to come in and sit and read a book while I eat and the atmosphere is great for it.
Got their takeout and the ramen was prepared with the noodles and broth separate mixing it together made it just wonderful. It's great that way because it doesn't make it soggy by the time you get home. I enjoyed the food very much
I am a versed traveler, Ramen lover and have been all over the country going to ramen places including San Diego, DC (to their voted best), Dallas, Houston and more and have to say that this place ALWAYS blows every other Ramen place out of the water. It's always so authentic, flavorful, the perfect amount of spice (I get a level 3-4) and never disappoints. There's also something about their seasoned eggs that make me want to order 10 at a time! If you like ramen, you're going to absolutely love this place. How do we get this place to be nominated for James Beard or Michelin Star?! She deserves it! Update: we have now been over seas to Taiwan and South Korea and this place STILL has them beat! Can’t get much better I am telling yall!
Ramen has great flavor. Lots of options and now they have yakisoba stir fry noodles which were amazing. Hidden gem if you enjoy ramen.
My husband loves anime and ramen 🍜, this was the best combination of both. Various anime posters and multiple TVs playing anime, made for what felt like an authentic experience. They have a lot of ramen options from beef/chicken/pork, whatever you want they probably have it. If you're into spicy they even have a devil challenge that you actually have to sign a waiver for. I wasn't quite brave enough to try but definitely interested. The flavors were rich and the broth had me going back for more and more, literally cleaned my bowl. #GoogleGal
broth was tasty noodles was nice and thin pork and brisket for 2 different orders was tasty and soft gyoza a tad small but tasty takoyaki could've used a bit more mayo but it's rare I find one, and they were pretty tasty You can order extra parts (veggie, noodles, meat) Overall this is a nice place to get great Ramen place. My spouse is not a soup person, but enjoyed the chicken boo dry noodles version They even have a nice plastic, helper thing for chopsticks for the kids.
Just discovered this little gem, and so should you! The food was fresh, well cooked, and served hot! You can't go wrong with the shrimp yakisoba, ramen, or pork dumplings. The service was friendly and fast. All around a great choice! The ambiance was relaxed, with low light and calming music. Not personally a fan of anime, but if you're into that you'll love the anime decor.
Firstly, the customer service from the young white guy was great. Friendly and polite, but the food its self was below average. $2 for half a marinated egg, $7.50 for 3 tiny egg rolls, and $9 for two tiny bao buns. $4 for two small slices of Chashu. Nearly $100 after 15% tip. Usually go to a ramen spot for cheap comfort food but this was not that. See ya in the next life time.
This used to be a very good place to eat. Haven't been there in a while they went up on their brisket Ramen. 20 dollars a bowl now. I went to the restroom. It was filthy. Started looking around paying attention to detail to the floors in the baseboards. Really made me not even want to finish my food. I will not be back. For an appetizer a drink and a bowl of Top Ramen cost me $35. That's insane little over $40 with a tip. That was for one person.
I used to love this restaurant, I’ve been coming year for years without any incident. However, today when picking up my food and bringing it to my girlfriend to eat on her lunch break we found some metal strings in the food, when confronted the owner was very unhelpful and even taunting us to leave a poor review, all we asked was an apology and refund. We are not coming back and we were regulars, I’ve given them hundreds of dollars. My girlfriend swallowed a piece and found this long one and a smaller one in the corner after taking the photo.
