Omelette was moist and nice texture. Especially shrimp was plump. I like it.

Wonderful people work here, the customer service is always amazing. The cuisine is a mix. Our breakfast consisted of pancakes with bacon and fresh fruit, a sausage and vegetable omelet, bowl of oatmeal with raising and brown sugar, and a brown curry based omelet. It was all fantastic. The Mexican food has mostly been eliminated from the menu.

Had breakfast. Food was good portions, cooked appropriately, served hot and as ordered. Server was very attentive. I'll skip the coffee next time (had to drown it with cream to make it drinkable). We eat gluten free and they did have gf toast and it was very good!

I'm torn about submitting this review because Tom's Depot is probably the best diner in the area...but I don't want a gazillion people showing up there to mess up the wonderfully relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. But, I confess that you should go try it once before you move to Texas...j/k... The Reuben is especially delicious!

There's nothing better than going to Tom's on a Saturday morning for a cup of coffee and conversations with the spectacular staff! Incredibly attentive, especially with refilling coffee cups! And the food is always delicious. I'm partial to the omelettes but this place makes amazing pancakes...with real fruit cooked inside! Not that gross syrupy stuff you find at chain diners. If you want a local, family friendly (and dogs allowed on patio) place with good food and good people, then you need to stop by here! Thumbs up if you like my review please and thank you.

What a truly nice old school place. I had the corned beef hash breakfast. I ordered it without mushrooms and the waitress brought it out with mushrooms, immediately noticed and made a new one for me. Such wonderful service. The apple pancakes were delicious, not too sweet and perfect with the cinnamon sugar on top. My friend had the linguica sausage and it was soooo good. Not too spicy, full of flavor and nicely crisped. The hash browns could have been a little crunchier, but I would give them another try. It looks like they usually are perfectly cooked based on other reviews. Topped it off with some ice cream. Nothing special, just old school chocolate and strawberry. Really delicious. Highly recommend if diner food is your thing

More of a 4 - 4.5 star place for me. I have fond memories of this place but when it comes to food quality it's a bit lacking. Avoid their steak and eggs. Everything else is decent. Their Italian sausage and eggs is great. Service is good, very friendly servers.

Good experience. Would like to see more emphasis on portions. Hash browns could use a splash more. Also after 3 attempts at asking for Crispy hash browns Im still waiting.... Wonderful host and atmosphere.

This is nice little restaurant. The inside reminds you of dinners back in the day, but with an updated decor. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The menu included some specific specials on Wednesdays and Fridays. We'll have come back to try those. We ordered two breakfasts #1 and #3. The breakfasts included two eggs, and a meat choice. We opted for sausage and received three sausage links. Breakfast #1 included hashbrowns and 4 pieces (2 slice) of toast. Breakfast #3 included 4 pieces (2 slices) of French toast. Both breakfasts were good. We had coffee and we were checked on frequently to see if we needed any refills.

I've only been once. It was warm inside. Not even sure if AC is available. I ordered eggs, bacon and hash browns. I asked for 3 eggs and got two. They did bring the third egg when I informed them of the mistake. I asked for crispy bacon and I think that request was ignored. The hash browns were terrible.

Mostly good food, really good prices, exceptional service. The Pancakes taste 100xs better than the Original Pancake House down the street. The fish & chips however are equal to frozen stouffers microwave fish & chips. Cornbeef hash is very low grade, very bland. New York Steak is pathetic. They should remove it from the menu if that low grade sirloin is considered NY steak. You can get better quality at Walmart. The cook can only cook what's provided by management. Low quality food here. And always hot inside. But their convenient. They'd make a fortune if they raised the quality of their food.

It's passable, but not good. Ordered french toast that was prepared in an unusual way, it was as if there were parts of fried egg hanging from the toast. The staff was really friendly and it was hard to find a parking spot.

I had steak and egg, everything tasted good except for the steak. The steak was very tough, I did not finish it because it was just too hard.

Has an open kitchen, so one could see the good being prepared, but it was small (so with service being slow when we were there, wondered what it would be like when busy). A lot of people came for takeout and some regulars came to eat, so seems to be a good local spot.

Great food, need a bit patience with new customers

My visit to Tom's was okay. I ordered a Reuben to go. The cook mixed in too much thousand island dressing into the sauerkraut for my taste. The sandwich was quite messy to eat and there was not enough meat. It took a very long time for the food to be prepared. Most restaurants prioritize to go orders but not at Tom's. I would have to say that they do not seem to like orders to go.

The food was good but do not be fooled by the menu prices they have posted on Google, they are much higher when you get there. Also, we were a party of six so we were told we would be charged a 20% fee, which we were fine with but our card was charged 22%.

Good little old place with the vibe. Staff was super friendly. I took two stars because of very long waiting - for waiter to take order, for order preparation, for check. And because of the portions sizes. We did expect to get big portions as this place looked like a diner, but sizes were really small. Like you teleported in Europe.

Expensive for the quality of food. Nice staff, accomodating staff. High chairs didn't feel safe - straps broken and legs wobbly.

I am quite surprised this place is getting such great reviews. I just ate here for brunch and the food was far less than adequate. We ordered the special of the day which was "chicken fajitas & salsa" including a side of fries. When I got the fajitas the portion of cubed chicken with soggy warm flavorless tomatoes took up less than half the plate and that was served with a side of fruit put on the same plate with my fajita. When I asked for my salsa they said it was in the chicken. Our fries came cold and stale. They did not look appetizing in the slightest. My other friend ordered hashbrowns and they looked frozen to cook. The menu is way to long and service is ok. Would not recommend this place at all. Steep prices for bad food.

Had bad service the first time but decided to give it another shot. After checking in with the unwelcoming waitress we then were ignored for 20 mins so ended up leaving.

The place needs improvement. They are severely understaffed. Had to wave to get my coffee refills. Honolulu lox and hash browns are tasteless I had to eat ketchup
