Coffee tonic for the win! It's an espresso variation of their Tree Frog (matcha, sparking water, apricot essence). Tree Frog was amazing too!

I was surprised how good the coffee and the bakery is at this place. The atmosphere is super as well as the service. Highly recommended!

This is a standout coffee shop! The proprietor is truly passionate and knowledgeable. I didn’t know what to get so I asked for a recommendation. Based on my preferences the host made me the ‘smoking tiger’. I was blown away! It was one of the most unique espresso drinks I’ve ever tried. My wife had the iced cappuccino which was also excellent. I highly recommend coming here to try something new or an old favorite - either way it will be handcrafted to your delight!

I visited this place in the morning time. Parking is available on the street in the alley next to the coffee shop. I tried a mocha and its taste was excellent. Not too sweet but its sweetness was just right. They don't seem to be making bread themselves, but the texture of the croissants was great. I highly recommend here!!

Great morning coffee in silver lake. Love the Cappuccino ☕ I ordered. Especially for the special cup cover design easy for drinking and prevent leakage! The store is nice decorated with the blackboard and the water bowl for dogs. May try croissant 🥐 next time.

Really great service! The employee working when I visited was so friendly and inviting. I ordered a latte and the mini chocolate croissant. Both were awesome. The latte was perfect and the temperature was nice and warm throughout. Really smooth espresso. I loved the croissant too. You could tell it was made with quality ingredients.

These micro coffee and tea stops are popping up so fast it's really hard to keep track of how they're run or if they're going to last. We were pleasantly surprised and heartwarmed to meet the folks that run this place. The coffee was a perfectly prepared Americano. Tea was excellently steeped. And the accompanying pastries, a cinnamon roll and croissant, though they were formed from a local bakery, we're perfectly paired with our dejeuner. I used to have a franchise coffee House of my own so passing my coffee critique is no small event. You're not going to get the opulent woodwork and atmosphere you might find a Starbucks with their billions of dollars, but this independent stop is slightly higher on the coffee choice for me

Just found this place for the first time walking home from another coffee shop that I was planning to go to, but was too crowded and without any shaded seating. I'm glad I did, because this drink (smoking tiger) is delightful and very interesting compared to what most coffee shops offer. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their unique offerings!

I came across a two-star review criticizing the coffee shop simply for having AI-generated art, even though they liked the coffee and atmosphere. Really? That seems quite absurd and unfair. I love local art and agree that it would be much better to have it but not every small business has access to local artists or personal art connections. Perhaps the reviewer could have offered their own work or mention some artists instead of channeling all that energy into a negative review. That would be a far more creative contribution than a two-star rant.

Hands down the best coffee in Los Angeles. Minimalist shop with an exceptional variety of coffee from all around the world - from espresso to sweet drinks, they have it all. I really appreciate a business owner who not only knows his stuff, but has immense passion for his product. If you are a quality person, you will not be disappointed.

Love coffee memes so much but heads up they seem to be closed on Wednesdays!! This isn’t reflected in their hours on Google Maps so I’ve had to find out the hard way 😢

I stopped by Coffee Memes a couple of times as I walked around Silver Lake. Once I tried an iced cappuccino, the cold froth was interesting, otherwise I was not impressed. The other time I had the iced dirty chai, or whatever it was called, it didn't stand out except for the extra price. Overall their "memes" drinks surely have catchy names and fancy looks, I can't say they are memorable or worth it. But frankly, I think Coffee Memes works for Silver Lake. If it were not Coffee Memes, there would be another place just like this.

But unfortunately, the scone I got that day wasn’t really good, it was kind of doughy, and they didn’t even give us cream or jam as options. A bit dry and flavorless in my opinion.

The cafe looks cute. I was craving for sweets after brunch so I paid for a $6 chocolate croissant here but it tasted so mid. I seriously regretted it. If I am paying $6 for a croissant, I expect it to be crispy on the outside, buttery soft and airy on the inside. But no, the chocolate croissant I got here was cold, bread-y, and not crispy or buttery at all. I like the chocolate inside and that’s it. It looked good on the surface though. The cashier did not even offer to heat up the cold pastry for me (most cafes would), and dare to request 15-25% tips on the iPad for the most basic minimum service. Be for real for a second ok?? I am not returning to this cafe for sure.
