We chose the spicy option and paired it with their delectable mac & cheese, featuring a hint of jalapeño for an extra kick. While some may find the spicy chicken lacking in heat, fear not – there’s an array of sauces available to dial up the spice to your liking. The fried chicken itself is a masterpiece – perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and succulent on the inside. We indulged in a basket of two wings and a breast, and each bite was pure bliss. The ambiance at Crawfords is delightfully low-key and casual, making it the ideal spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a relaxed evening alone. With a pool table, and ample seating options, there’s something for everyone here. We were particularly impressed by the friendly service provided by the bartender, who was knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure we had a great experience. The beer selection, featuring a mix of canned and draft beers, perfectly complemented our meal. It’s worth noting that Crawfords also caters to those on the go, with a steady stream of people popping in for takeout orders. The only downside? Parking can be a bit tricky, with limited spaces available onsite. However, don’t let that deter you from experiencing the culinary delights that Crawfords has to offer. Overall, Crawfords on Beverly Blvd is a hidden gem for fried chicken aficionados, offering delicious food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere that keeps you coming back for more.

Hugely popular dive bar on Beverly Blvd, half a block West of Rampart. Unassuming, almost unnoticeable from the outside. But inside, it was standing room only, when I was there. There's a true laid back atmosphere, from the decor to the staff. Everyone was cool, just having a good time. But the real star here is the Spicy Fried Chicken. Whether or not you enjoy the crowd or the vast selection of microbrews, the Spicy Fried Chicken is a 'must have!'

If you don’t do anything else stop by and check out the chicken & macaroni🔥 coming from the south (Alabama) I wasn’t expecting much from a Cali chicken spot but the food was actually amazing and the $4 draft buds put the icing on the cake ✅ definitely will be returning, the staff is pretty amazing as well..

Pitch perfect. The mood it chill. The crowd is local east side people. The kitchen is the size of a bathtub but what comes out of it is spectacularly well done. Fried chicken is crunchy on the outside and juices flow throughout. The sides are spot on. Giant dill pickle spear? Hell yes. A glorious selection of canned midwestern macro brews and some local LA and So cal stuff on tap. Folks at the bar were friendly and got orders in fast. On a Sunday at 6pm it was comfortably full, but getting fuller. Hot Fried Chicken FTW.

I ordered the spicy chicken with coleslaw togo and luckily I did. I had such a mess at my table with sauce and cooking oil all over my hands. I don't know how patrons eat this WONDERFUL meal in the restaurant without looking like a "pig." This chicken belongs in my book up there with Tommy's chili.

Stopped in to try their fried chicken. Their online ordering wasn't accepting orders, so I went in and ordered at the counter. It's a small bar, about 10 tables or so h some high tops and others are booths and tables. About 10 more seats at the bar. Ordering was quick and easy at the bar, albeit the loud music which required a louder voice. Took our fried chicken to go, one spicy and the other not. I'd give the nod to the spicy chicken. Both were tender inside, crispy skin and just overall some great fried chicken. The spicy wasn't a burn your face off spicy, but it surely has a lot more flavor than the original. The mac n cheese was a green Chile variety and was tasty.. even better was the bacon BBQ beans. Those were awesome. Overall, a good experience and great food!

Probably some of the best fried chicken in LA, which I’ll admit is a low bar. But you really can’t beat it. $5 budweiser on tap plus a pool table? What more could you ask for! I make the trek from across town whenever I can.

Great atmosphere and high energy local dive bar. Good selection of draft and canned beer. The fried chicken was mediocre and crispy, but not the best I’ve ever had… I’ve been eating fried chicken since the womb and definitely think the vibe over powers any of the food options, but definitely worth visiting to say you have been to Crawfords. The $9 sweet potato fries are not edible. I had the bartender request to remake the order as I could not bite into the fry, and unfortunately the second batch was just as bad. Security guy out front was nice and helpful and I enjoyed the “local feels.”

Only thing I disliked about this place is that when someone smokes outside the people are close to the door and the smell comes in the bar which I'm not a fan of. I don't like to eat my food with the smell of cigarette smoke. If they addressed this issue I would give them 5 stars.

A peak dive bar experience. The fried chicken was the piece de resistance but the ice cold beers and pool table really sell the mood. This would be my neighborhood spot if it wasn’t so far.

Waited hours to play pool and they ignored me when it came to ordering food. Very busy good place for locals. But outsiders beware you'll be treated like you don't exist. They also over charged me $15. For a can of 12oz° beer 🍺
