Great place to stop by when you need a quick thing. It is not a real browsing store but they have what you need. The focus is definitely more on painting than sculpture, not that it bothers me.

Blue Rooster Supplies is an art store focused on canvases, brushes, paints, paper and illustration tools. They operated in 2003 and has been managed by the same owner since its inception. It is located at Hollywood blvd and Vermont ave on Easy Hollywood neighborhood. This art store is well organized and neat. They have a vast art related materials from pencils to fine paint brushes to sketch books etc. I came here to grab silk screen related materials. Prices were fair. Street metered parking only. Staff was competent, amiable and professional. Overall, I had a good experience and I highly recommend this art store.

Excellent art supply store 🌟👍 I visited with an artist whom I am commissioning artwork from and looks like they have an incredible supply of spray paints, paint pens and mural paper. Also, very knowledgeable customer service.

I love to shop at this cute little art store! They have all the essentials and more for an artist of any kind. The quality of the products and the prices are great, the staff is also very nice!

Love the vibe of this shop! The folks who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. They might not have everything you need but the selection is reliable enough where it’s worth looking here first before going to a bigger store or online.

I love this little store. For a quick run of supplies or gifts. The staff is quirky, friendly and informative. Most art supply stores are run by artist, so it's fun to talk shop with them about their knowledge of mediums. Prices are fair to a little over priced but no more than the bigger stores or Amazon.

We’ve visited both locations on this LA trip and both locations are the gold standard of art supply stores. Broad product selections, broad product knowledge, and super friendly happy knowledgeable staff. This location has the added benefit of an attached Hawaiian shaved ice cafe too! Highly recommended as your destination for all your art supplies.

It was a great experience and this was my first time in this art store and the level of care I was given from the moment I walked into the store was excellent. I am a novice art supply buyer (at best) and no question I had was treated rudely or disregarded. The staff did the best job they could helping me find exactly what I needed but without gouging me because I didn't know any better. I had a great time and will definitely be back to get more supplies very soon.

Of the east LA art supplies stores this one is my fave. Really friendly and helpful service. They’re great on the phone also. Cheaper than Baller by a lil. One particular worker is really great I think her name might have been Maggie… ? One suggestion: could do with a bike rack for cyclists, I have to chain mine to a cumbersome poll. This is a very minor problem.

I recently had a fraudulent charge on my debit card, the person who stole my information used the card to make a purchase of $495.00 at Blue Rooster Art Supply. I then reached out to Blue Rooster and explained my situation to them. The person who answered the phone was Tuesday, right from the beginning she was exceptionally nice and was super understanding of my situation. She called me back later that day and explained she had found the order, notified her manager, and let me know the order would be canceled. The next day I received a phone call from the manager, Nick Gallow. He also reassured me that the order would be canceled, then offered me the information that was entered for the shipping address and email. Nick and Tuesday really went above and beyond, I couldn't have been luckier, in an unlucky situation. The Blue Rooster Art Supply is an outstanding company.

I loved the atmosphere of the store. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My only minus is that its on the pricey side i will definitely save up to go shopping there again lol. I would go again for sure also parking is street /meter parking.
