I came across it yesterday for the first time, and overall the food was so neat and delicious. The dumplings you recommended were also delicious. The kindness of the staff made me really happy. It's hard to find good restaurants in LA, but I'll go here often. I'll be there next week as well. Thank you so much staff!
Delicious authentic Indian food here in LA. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area looking for some delicious flavors ! This food is so tasty, enjoyed the chicken masala medium with a garlic naan wich was so good . Side of rice as well. Strawberry smoothy which was great to cool down with. When in the area stop by and check it out !
I was craving momos and hence I stumbled upon this place and it was quite an amazing discovery. Beware of the spice levels though !!
went for the first time after being a long time ago in Nepal and felt good. Momo, the reason I came for been absolutely delicious and we had most likely the best cheese naan I ever had and a lamb khorma on top. All very tasty and prices are like everywhere. Staff is kind and helpful. recommended to give it a try if you haven’t tasted the food or been to the country before.
Everything was delicious!! Steam Momo was so good and brought me back to Nepal- that I had to order a second plate!! Staff were soo nice!! They definitely heard our Ooos- ahhhs for the food! I hope to be back here when im back in LA. I would recommend adding a nice touch of music to uplift the vibes!
The best Indian food and love the garlic nann bread and fried dumplings 🥟 I highly recommend this place if you want something different. So yummy 😋
This unassuming little strip mall restaurant next to a laundromat is serving up fantastic, authentic Nepalese and North Indian dishes. Do your taste buds a favor, ignore the imposing spiked gate parking lot, and come taste what Himalayan regional fare should taste like. I haven't found momos since my street food diners in Delhi! The tomato cream dipping sauce is flavorful, but ask for some hot chili sauce to mix in - it will take it to a stellar level of complexity for the little steamed dumplings. For dinner, I ordered the Okra and garlic naan. Amazing. If you can stand it at all, order your food with some heat. They can make whatever level you want, but just like with the momos, spicy really is a key part. I asked for a "7" and it was no hotter than a medium salsa. (I plan to go back and see if I can get something that will make me cry to feel like I am abroad again, maybe an "11".) Unless you are truly gluten intolerant, order the naan. Seriously, spend the extra time at the gym if you have to, but order the naan. If you don't like butter glossing over your bread, ask them to hold the ghee, otherwise - dive in. The naan is so much lighter and more delicate than most Indian restaurant breads. The mix of elasticity in the thicker parts of the dough and oven crisped underside of the loaf, make this bread such a treat!

I ordered delivery most recently. Himalayan house isss theeee BEST with its ultimate flavor packed deliciousness. This food tonight made me smile for the rest of the night! I can truly taste the love they put into the scrumptiousness. It nourished my belly and my soul! I haven't been inside in many years because I live a bit further away but they were always sooooo lovely and welcoming when my friend and I would go to lunch there.
Went with family. Food was good. Momos and Thupka was awesome. My daughter love the Paneer Butter Masala. Vegetarian Thali and Lamb curry was delicious, not oily/greasy at all. The service was with a warm smile which definitely added to the experience. Will go again for sure!
Authentic Nepali Cuisine. Small, locally owned place. Mo:mo’s were wrapped in fresh dough, and the chutney was like homemade. Don’t forget to ask for their hot sauce, made out of Dalle Khursani. So, you add few drops of this hot sauce with chutney, and the taste is alleviated. The owners cooks the food herself, forgot to catch her name but she gives a very welcoming Nepali family vibe. Would come back when visiting LA. Don’t miss.
Discovered this fine establishment on google maps while looking for directions. Ordered the veggie noodle soup and it was amazing. I’ve never had Himalayan noodles before. The man was fresh and garlicky and went perfectly with the soup. Very charming owners and cute little restaurant. I’ll be back. A lot. .

Hands down the best Nepali & Indian restaurant in LA! I absolutely loved the authentic flavors and delicious food. The warmth and hospitality of the owners made the experience even better-it truly felt like home. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Nepali and Indian taste. Thank you so much!
Loved not only the food but also the service! I had to come early & wait for my family, they were very accommodating & made sure I am comfortable. Food (everything I ordered) was tasty, good portion (one item fills you up), reasonably price, prepared pretty quick (within 15 min, meal was served for all 5 people). They went above & beyond to fill our need & served every request with grace. They even offered complimentary rice & salad. Very appreciative of the chef as well as the server.
We are always up for a good plate of Nepalese momos, and this place did not disappoint. Portions are small, and there are 6 momos per plate, so you may need a few plates if you're hungry! The chicken noodles were pretty good as well. We went on a Saturday afternoon and most of the tables were empty. Would definitely visit again if we happen to be in the area.
Well, Suddenly I went there for the first time. I liked their Momo item. It’s like 7/10.! I I was in rush, That's why didn’t abled to try different Item. Their price is little bit more than others Indian/Restaurants.(Maybe for the place..-IDK).! Good Luck.
It's on a weird location but wasn't hard to find parking. Other than Indian food, I'm not used to other food they offer and my opinion can only be compared to other Indian restaurants in town. Greeted as soon as we arrived, there wasn't anyone else but a few orders were picked up while we dine. It's clean and prices are fair, ordered chicken korma and chicken Tikka, one spicy and one not spicy at all. Both ended up being spicy, not unbearable to us but not edible to our toddler. Rice came with order and ordered a Naan as an extra. Only thing I complain about is both curries we're slightly soupier than most places, but taste was still there.
Great, tasty Indian/Nepalese food. We ordered the chicken fried rice, chicken tikka masala, and garlic naan - they were all scrumptious and hit the spot. I asked for medium level spiciness and they nailed it. The garlic naan is made in house, from scratch and it was the most delicious garlic naan (or any naan for that matter) I've ever had. The service is great too. I wish they'd get more customers because they deserve it.
Decent restaurant.. their momos were good. I wouldn’t say anything was extraordinary but everything was as expected. Service was good, but we were the only one in the restaurant

Good to get the feel of India sitting there...service was good and enjoyed the Indian preparations
I recently ordered chicken momo from the Himalayan restaurant for takeout. The flavors were delightful and the taste was quite good. However, there were a few letdowns in the experience. Unfortunately, some of the momo pieces were not steamed properly. I noticed flour residue on a few of them, and to make matters worse, some pieces had a rather hard texture. This oversight had a negative impact on my overall meal, as it disrupted the enjoyment of the dish and left my bowl in a bit of a mess. While the taste was promising, the inconsistency in the steaming process was a downside. I hope the restaurant takes note of these concerns and works to ensure a more consistent and satisfying dining experience for its patrons.

The first time I came, pre Covid-19, it was Indian owned, everyone was very welcoming and friendly, and the food tasted authenticly Indian. It was so great and flavorful! This time, it was very clearly not Indian owned. The food and the service was alright but, this was my second time here and the feel and experience was completely different. Nothing like before! If I do return, it would be solely based on location and convenience.
Thali was 4/5 but a serious lack in hospitality. If it is a Thali set, the customers are going to expect additions. Being looked at rudely, when asking for additions was a big turn off. And the owner only brought additional rice and not dal and vegetables.
Service great, place clean, heating scale 1-10 was helpful. I got 5 and it was nice. Other things on the menu might ne magnificent, but I had Vegetable Korma... Disappointed by what appeared to be a bag of frozen veggies cooked in the sauce. Texture was that of frozen veggies too. Flavor was "ok. Somosa filing was yummy, but wrap seemed like just puff pastry not the thicker dough I expected from somosa. Also super greasy. Fine experience, but wouldn't return.
