Cool spot in Los Feliz/ East Hollywood. It's a Mediterranean type place. I tried the gyro with the lamb beef filling and it was solid. The gyro was good sized and they put some fries in it as well. Also tried the lightly fried pita strips and it was chewy but a little crunchy. They also have an Arnold Palmer drink which was a little plain. The prices are reasonable especially for the area so I would recommend.

What a LA gem, right on the bus line from Griffin observation. Spitz serves lot of different alcohol and the food is up there for price and amount you get so come hungry. We got the street cart wrap mix meat and the doner basket. The street cart wrap with mix meat took the wrap and layer each of it with taste it didn't overwhelm with just one saucy but they layer each without too much. The basket surprise me at how much was in it the mix piles on each other but each done well on its own it's good way to taste everything including their amazing falafel which was the highlight of the bowl. If I had lived near by I would just come everyday. It's got a bar vibe but every staff is friendly and working pretty hard. Don't miss this gem

I drove 40 minutes to try this place and it did not disappoint. Super friendly service, very cool atmosphere (casual but nice) and an extensive menu. Everything was very clearly labeled for dietary restrictions which I really appreciated. A lot of vegan options! I ordered a falafel wrap and a hummus/pita side and both were incredibly good. I ended up taking half home so the amount of food you get for the price was great. I will definitely be back again.

Third time and the original gyro never fails! First time was through Uber Eats and it was so good and fresh considering a delivery, that I had to go in to see the place for myself. This is my second time driving to the Hillhurst Ave. location for take out. Although I’m in and out, Mike makes the visit that much more special because of his genuine hospitality and customer service. I wish the entire company much success and with an employee like Mike, you’ll always win!

Always consistently delicious and quality food and beers. Great happy hour specials. My favorite local haunt. Also always great music playing!

The best Mediterranean food you can get in Los Feliz, but with a modern twist. On top of that, their Sangria is top notch and the vibes are 10/10!

November 2025: Came here for brunch and had a wonderful time sitting in the back room. I ordered the lentil soup and ahi tuna salad. Both were excellent. Soup came with a slice of bread which went well with the soup. Salad had a generous amount of tuna. Dressing was tasty and not overpowering. Someone had the chicken and waffles and I got a taste. That would be my go-to next time I am back. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back again.

My goodness, where to start... This was my first time here. My wife recommended this place. The outdoor seating was just a delight (Although, LA... a heater on when it's 66 outside?). Also having been to a lot of places with obnoxious music that's way too loud, the music here was pleasant and at the proper volume for conversation to still occur. But no matter. We started off with the Mezcal Bloom cocktail which was one of the best drinks I've ever had, and I'm saying this as a professional bartender with nationwide cocktail award as an accolade. Just amazingly balanced, delicious, not too sweet, smokey with the right amount of herb from the chartreuse. Just when we thought things couldn't get better, the breakfast came out. We got the Huevos Benedictos with chorizo. My goodness. Everything about that dish was incredible. Coming in from Portland, we're used to everything spice and flavor wise when it comes to Mexican inspired food to be quite dampened, but this was not. The salsa verde actually had some kick to it and the chorizo was beautifully seasoned and spiced. Our server, Jack, was an absolute delight. We loved this place so much, we went next door to The Guest House where we met Alejandro, the bartender, who was also a gem. We can't wait to come back to LA to try more of this amazing menu and enjoy the awesome staff.

I'm leaving this review again because the previous one disappeared. Our server ( didn't remember name )was helpful and kind, knowing just what we needed without us having to ask. Food was delicious and all fresh ingredients. Side fruit was good portions of one person. Side home fries were crispy and the serving size was great.Even though the wait was long, had a fun time.

Was there for my birthday on Sunday. Had the patio all to ourselves. Anthony was our server and he was awesome! He took great care of us and made sure I had a great time! What a beautiful spot and such a pleasant surprise for an afternoon brunch. We were seated right away for our patio reservation and welcomed with great service. The food portions, quality and pricing were exactly what you'd expect in the neighborhood. My partner and I had the steak and eggs and the chicken sandwich, and both were solid choices. The only miss was the iced coffee, which came out extremely watered down and closer in color to iced tea. Still, this is a great place to bring both locals and out-of-town friends when you want a relaxing break from the city.

Home restaurant is a very lovely and cozy place. We didn't make reservation, so had to wait about 15 minutes, but the staff were very nice. There drizzles fries and calamari were 10/10. The prices were reasonable compare to other places that sell fried calamari, but I think Home restaurant gave you more portions. The chicken & waffles was a large portion as well. We didn't finish, the chicken were very crispy.

This is the most charming & lovely restaurant I have ever been to! From start to finish everything was wonderful. I made reservations online through their website, I recommend doing that since while we were having our dinner. I watched quite a few people try to get a table but was told there was a wait. Valet is right outside the restaurant which was great to not have to drive around to find parking. And it was only 10 bucks! (+ tip him well, He deserves it) Okay now, the food 🤩 We got Truffle Fries for our appetizer 100/10! Water & a blackberry lemonade for drinks. Looks like they had a great cocktail menu too if alcohol is your thing. For our dinner my husband got the fish tacos and I got the treehouse club with a side house salad. Their ranch is so yummy! Food was all fantastic. My only small thing, is be patient. You can tell the food is all cooked with lots of love so it takes some time from beginning to end. Pricing was decent and portions were quite large.

Liked the overall experience at this place. Lively surroundings, not much busy on weekend mornings and of course value for money food. Tried the wraps and bowl. Baklava was okay, not fresh I would say. Could see efforts in blending Mediterranean food with American touch (e.g. quinoa replacing rice! ) Ordering is easy, just go to the counter and order there, food will come to you (mostly self service). Here is the new format I'm trying now-a-days for a better review - Ambience/cleanliness - 3.5/5 Food - 4/5 Service time - 3/5 Value for money - 4/5 Parking is on the streets which could be tough to find. Suggestion- improve service time as it took 15-20 minutes without much traffic!

We had a less than ideal spot due to "pending reservations". But we spent about 2hours here and those seats were still vacant when we left. Our server was a delight though. She was attentive and kind to us.

First visit. Was amazing experience. The staff was very helpful and professional. The food was on point. The scene was delightful. Fun conversations with our server who wasn't afraid to share. I had the crab cake benedict that was so solid and delicious I was seriously dumbfounded. The patio table next to the koi pond and bamboo with dappled light and a perfect LA afternoon rounded out a fantastic meal. I will definitely go again even if Home is out of the way. I don't give five stars until I have gone three times but hard not to.

I was really disappointed with this Medi Bowl. The bowl I received looked nothing like the one advertised. The presentation was sloppy, ingredients were unevenly distributed, and it was missing the vibrant, fresh look shown in the photos. It honestly felt thrown together rather than carefully prepared. For the price, I expected something closer to what’s promoted online. If you’re going to advertise a beautiful, well-balanced bowl, the actual product should reflect that. Unfortunately, this did not.

Very pleasant setting, attentive friendly service, and disappointing food. Poor quality ingredients, poorly prepared. The fish was overcooked and not very fresh., french fries were soggy, oily and undercooked, the hamburger meat was greasy and tasteless. Formal Complaint Message Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025 Time: 9:30 p.m I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the experience I had at your restaurant on SPITZ. From the very beginning, the treatment I received from the person in charge was completely unacceptable. I was spoken to in a raised voice, with an aggressive and disrespectful attitude. At no point did I act disrespectfully or give any reason to be treated in such a manner, yet I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. A restaurant is not judged solely by its food, but also by the quality of service and the respect shown to its customers. Unfortunately, in this case, the service was extremely poor. The behavior of the staff member in charge created an uncomfortable and hostile environment, leaving me feeling upset and disrespected. I strongly believe that no customer should ever be yelled at or treated rudely, especially in a business that serves the public. I encourage you to seriously review how your staff, particularly those in leadership positions, communicate with customers. I am sharing this feedback not to create conflict, but in the hope that it will lead to reflection and improvement. No customer should have to go through an experience like this. I would appreciate a response and, more importantly, actions that demonstrate a genuine commitment to respectful and professional customer service.
