Absolutely loved this sushi spot! The ambiance is wonderful, creating a perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. And the food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend for any sushi lover!

Placed a to go lunch order on a rainy Wednesday in June. Order was ready in 20 minutes, very fast considering we ordered 6 baked rolls. By using math, they made each roll in 3 minutes and 20 seconds. All the rolls were packed in clear containers so no need to open everything to see who’s who and what’s what. We asked the server to write the names of the rolls on the box, so thanks for that.

Came here for lunch with my mom And was very pleasantly surprised. They have lunch specials everyday, and the specials are decently priced and well portioned. The service is also great! Polite, professional and nice without being over bearing. We ordered the salmon skin salad and the salmon lunch box set. The presentation is very appealing and looks like they took care when plating it. The salmon plate came with rice, salad, miso soup, California roll and tempura. My mom Was super impressed. Everything was delicious and you can tell they take care when they make your food. Also I love how it’s conveniently located in a little strip mall since parking is really hard in that area. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem!

Cute little Japanese restaurant. When I say little, there are only about twelve tables and that includes two sets which could sit four people. They have daily specials and the food is quality and does take time to get to you, but is worth it. If your eating alone they have a TV on one wall which normally plays a sporting event. They do take credit cards, sodas are in cans and you can order to go. The parking is shared with the grocery store in the same lot.

I’ve come here over 10+ times in the past 6 months. Needless to say my girlfriend and I LOVE this place! The sushi is delicious, but what makes this place even better is their daily special menu. They have fabulous specials every day of the week for very affordable prices! I highly recommend this place!

I preface this by saying I have not dived into the sushi scene for raw fish. I namely stick to baked and fried rolls. This place has great options for me ! Tastes great 👍🏼. I am definitely coming back. I was able to eat inside after confirming my vaccine status.

Love Yen! This location is as high quality and delicious as the Studio City location, but definitely a smaller space. Cute hole in the wall vibes. What’s nice about Yen, aside from being affordable, is that the sushi is good but the hot food is also really solid. They have a special with Nabeyaki udon and an add on (spicy tuna roll, California roll etc) for $13.45. Great salmon skin roll. Overall just a wonderful place 🍣🍲🍱♥️

Great sushi, The California Rolls and sushi combo are not only fresh but also cheap and pretty good! I drive from far to come to this place and the price and every mile is worth this delicacy.

It took me a year to write this review but I remember this place well. My friend and I came down from the observatory and were starving. This place was so nice and accommodating, I even ordered so much miso that they brought it to me in a big bowl. Such a hidden gem. Thank you and good fortunes.

It may reside in a not so glamorous location but don't let that fool you. Yen is a great neighborhood staple and continues to be. Staff is incredibly kind, food is a strong 4/5 and their lunch specials are a bargain!

The service was great, atmosphere was nice. Had an early dinner 5pm so it was not too crowded. Ordered the Albacore roll (forgot the name), and Tuna roll (also forgot the name). The rolls were just ok. Nothing special nor did the flavors stand out. I was a bit disappointed that the Maguro Tuna was seared. I know Albacore is generally seared, however was not expecting it with Maguro. Not sure I would go back for there for sushi. P
