Food, service, and ambience are all amazing!! But I can't speak enough for how cool and relaxing the setting is in general- especially the lounge area. It has art, games, music, drinks, big windows with a great view, and more. As for food, I enjoyed my croissant with the curried chicken salad. The grapes and nuts were a great addition to the chicken salad portion. My mom's strawberry cheesecake waffles and chai latte were so so good too. We also got the Santa Barbara juice at the end and it was very refreshing. I'll need the hydration to carry me through my day at Disney, lol. Overall, as out-of-staters, it captured a vibe of L.A.; so I recommend for other travelers especially
I love this place. I miss the french toast though :( Edit: they brought back a version of the french toast they used to have. But it's not the same. I liked the previous version better. Still worth trying for anyone who likes french toast. I give it a 3 out of 5. I've also tried the cinnamon toast waffles. I give those a 3.5 out of 5. Pretty good from what I remember. Jane Q is still an awesome place and the staff has always been friendly, so they can keep my 5 stars. 😉
Great atmosphere, our server Gina was great. We had breakfast with our kiddos and she was super kind. Latte and avocado toast was great! The only to add is that they could add a bit more of salt to the food - nothing major as we could adjust to our taste.
The salmon bagel, grilled chicken and avocado salad, COFFEE CAKE, avocado toast, Margherita pizza, and cappuccino are DELISH!!! The service is excellent. I ate at Jane Q's each day of my stay and LOVED IT!!! I never knew what to order because I wanted it all.
This is our 2nd visit, and this round we tried the breakfast menu. Absolutely amazing food and service! Omar was our waiter and provided excellent service, and made our visit again so lovely on a rainy day! We ate the waffles and Chilaquiles, and they were so good! Thank you again!
It's a nice change of pace to come here and enjoy a meal and a good book, especially after a long day. The atmosphere is perfect for unwinding.
Great ambiance & great food!! All the staff was fabulous, shout out to Gina!
Very nice restaurant with good food. I ordered room service a few times as well as dined in. The staffmembers are courteous and it is evident that customer service is a priority. Whether you want a table for one or a few, it is yours at Jane Q.
This place was everything I was looking for!! An amazing vibe, we got the bodega sandwich and the chicken and waffles. My server was Omar and he was so kind and attentive 10/10 :)))
This is the best place! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are consistently delicious and the service is awesome. Some of my favorites are the fried eggs and potatoes, avocado toast, and hummus plate! Everything I’ve had here is fantastic.
I stopped down to Jane Q each morning for breakfast and coffee during my stay. The natural light shining in to the restaurant makes for a very welcoming atmosphere and the food is as delicious as the restaurant is bright. all the associates that I worked with were extremely friendly which made the experience that much better.

Elegant small restaurant located inside the Kimpton hotel. The menu is vey small, but the dishes are all fresh and offer a unique taste. Generous portion of Cesar Salad that tastes fresh and juicy. The pizze are thin crust with flavorful toppings. Staff is friendly and always around when needed.
What a suprise! The menu is pretty varied, mostly based in american/western food of all kinds, pizzas, burgers, fish, meat... The staff is super nice and they put a lot of love in preparing the food. Let them recommend you and you'll be fine!
We had breakfast at this place just because we were the guests from the Kimpton hotel. Can’t sharing much for their menu since we’re both ordered the same thing. The avocado toasts was delicious. Thomas was our server on that morning and he was great.

Visited this place twice on one Sunday for Brunch and then Dinner. So Brunch was amazing, I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle and tried the chilaquiles from a friend. Both were great and they even offered a military discount. As for dinner, it didn’t go so well. We had to pay upfront and I had forgotten to even give a tip. They said there was no military discount either. Once we got our food, I had the veggie lasagna and it was good. I tried the lobster spaghetti. The lobster was rubbery and cold and so were the tomatoes. Also the plate says fennel but I didn’t taste any (I actually don’t like fennel). Overall this place is great but needs to be more consistent in their food quality and service. I will be back to give them another try.

Stayed at the Kimpton and came down for dinner one day because it was easy, on our way out, and we needed to kill some time before a show at TCL. I was torn on what to get a lot of the items on the menu just were not doing it for me. I am not a picky eater but I did not pre look at the menu assuming there would be something. Well it came down to the summer corn & lobster ravioli as the waitress suggestion so I went with it. Then she came back to tell me they had no lobster so they were substituting shrimp. (Fine). My husband got a pizza (he is picky). Once we got our food it was terrible. I felt like ingredients of my ravioli were just thrown together to make a dish, not even sure they went together. The tastes were just so combative, you get 6 pieces of ravioli for $35! The pizza was so flat, no taste, and the sauce was so runny everything just slipped off. We just kinda picked through what we could, but would not recommend this place to anyone for dinner at the very least. I’m sure drinks or coffee and maybe breakfast is fine. But overall nothing looked or tasted good and it came out giving the same impression. Maybe should’ve gotten and overpriced salad. B it overall I have no good impressions here. I would have rather got fast food for how much we spent.
What a disappointment We will not come back here. 60 dollar breakfast, which was not tastly and had small portions. The $6 extra side of hashbrows was a joke. The bacon was like cardboard By the time our drinks were ready, we had already finished eating. Dont waste your time or money
I usually don’t give bad reviews but this place holds a special place in my heart. Nice restaurant and the food was good but the customer service was the worst. The waiter spilt my girlfriends drink on her pants. My friends and I were also waiting for so long for our food and it wasn’t even that busy. I was waiting for one appetizer for AN HOUR. If I was going to get take out, I’d order from here but I would never want to come back in person

Do NOT recommend! Location near Pantages is a redeeming factor & food was OK. BUT their menu was nothing like online. The waiter said it was quite outdated. The hours were wrong too. It was small & not at all upscale. The waiter forgot drinks; we had to get our own sugar after asking for it. The mimosa was 1/2 glass. Sprouts on bagel tasted old. Hanger steak sandwich wasn't hanger steak. Didn't have the right bread for BLT. Waiter was nice but forgetful & slow. Won't be back.

Whatever you do, DO NOT order room service when staying at the Kimpton. I was looking forward to a beautiful breakfast and received a freezing cold, disgusting, tasteless mess served in brown bags an delivered by a cranky woman 90 minutes after you've ordered. It was the worst breakfast I've ever had. You're much better off just getting uber eats or postmates if you're wanting a nice breakfast in bed during your stay. My eggs were freezing cold and the hash brown had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. The bagel was pretty bad, but edible. They didnt deliver my coffee at all and when I tried to call to tell them, they didnt answer. Thankfully the hotel were understanding but I'd really hope the Cafe can up their game.
