I stopped by for a quick bite, and WOW—everything exceeded my expectations. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the toppings added just the right amount of crunch and zest. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting—perfect for a casual meal or catching up with friends. If you’re in the area and craving something delicious, Wahoo’s is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I have been eating at this location for 10 years, the food is always great and the staff is wonderful. Unfortunately, they have significantly raised all of their prices, and made the portions smaller. On top of that, the atmosphere has lost its cool surf/skate vibe and now feels much more corporate now. Really bummed by the new changes, but will continue to eat here (although it will be much less frequent). Please, please kill off these new menu changes

Steak nachos were good, but not enough steak added for the price. White rice a bit dry and shrimp taco overpriced. The tortilla was store bought. Fell apart after one bite. Requires were good tho.

I'm not sure why restaurants always try to hide a bad avocado in a sushi roll or in this case have the good side up. I didn't see this until I turned over the avocado. This just shows that they think this is edible and disregarded the blackened avocado threads. Otherwise, food is decent but makes me wonder what else they try to serve.

Something bad had happened with the Maui onion rings at this location and at the Placentia location. They changed the recipe and they are terrible. These are all weirdly uniform in size and crumbly, not the usual shiney fried random sized goodness. I'm so sad because they used to have the best onion rings and these are awful.

The burrito I ordered was not made to how I ordered it. They charged me an extra $1.50 to make the burrito wet and it’s extremely DRY. I don’t believe the young lady at the front is sufficiently trained to be handling the front end on her own smh. I called the restaurant back and no answer.

I honestly don’t know what happened to this place. Wahoo’s used to be such a good meal, now all it’s expensive and you don’t get much more than black beans and rice. The Outer Reef Burrito had barely any carnitas but was full of rice and beans. The street tacos were the smallest tacos I’ve ever seen and literally didn’t have much more meat than a teaspoon full. The lady taking our order was rude and kept talking over me. Our meals seemed to come after several others who had come in and ordered later. I just don’t think this is a place I will come back to. The cost isn’t worth what you get and the food doesn’t taste that good anymore. Sorry Wahoo’s you’re just not doing anymore.

Don’t know what’s up with Wahoo’s and always getting your order wrong. It’s all locations it seems like or this one is especially bad. Even when I order straight off the menu with zero additions or substitutions they still manage to mess up my food. I work in the area and was taking my lunch here a few times a week. Very rarely did I get my food without any issues. The last time I visited I ordered a Hawaiian Onion Ring Burrito. It comes with Teriyaki steak, Maui Onion Rings, cheese, rice, sour cream and spicy Maria’s green sauce. I asked for no cheese or sour cream. I took two bites and instead of putting their steak in the burrito the cook put carnitas instead. I don’t eat pork and went up and asked them for a refund because instead of steak, they put carnitas instead. I didn’t have time to wait for them to make me another burrito because I was on my 30 min lunch break. The poor girl at the counter understood and was going to give me a refund. The cook overheard and started arguing with me that the burrito comes with carnitas. Even the girl at the front knew that it comes with steak and not carnitas and started arguing with the cook as well. It wasn’t till I told her to come and look at the menu and repeated to her teriyaki steak, teriyaki steak, till she was like oh it comes with steak!? Got my refund on my food and haven’t been back since.
