One of the best college arenas around. easy to get in and out of. comfortable seating and great views from around the venue. The concessions could use a bit of a bump in diversity and quality though. Overall though I love coming to events here.

This was my first time at the galen center after years of driving by. I saw USC play against Cal Berkeley and it was exciting! the arena has a great sound coming from echo and the fans can get loud as well. we walked up to the entrance 15 minutes before top off and the entry was so fast i couldn't believe it! bathrooms were clean as well! can't wait to come back!

Went to see UC Santa Cruz play USC in a basketball game. The banana slugs were battling in the beginning but ultimately lost.

Nice clean and not too big a venue. They've had serious AV issues with the big displays twice when I've been to games and the place does feel a bit dated. Convenient parking across the street.

I have attended the call of duty championship here for the past 2 years. The galen center offers a great amount of seating and plenty of refreshment stands. The food and drink is a little pricey but it is around whats to be expected in the area. Large paid parking garage next door with plenty of parking.

I enjoy myself when going to USC basketball games the only problem I had was that each time I scan my ticket it says duplicate ticket knowing that I'm the only one who has that specific ticket and there hasn't been anyone in my seat when finding it

Although the arena itself was great, the concessions experience was disappointing. It appeared that a manager was repeatedly and unfairly criticizing one employee, an older woman, despite the fact that her service was excellent and her line was moving the fastest. The criticism seemed targeted , as other employees were not being addressed in the same manner. When another guest attempted to speak up on her behalf, the manager responded dismissively, stating, “ I am not talking to you, I am talking to her”. Witnessing this interaction was upsetting and unprofessional. I hope this matter is addressed to ensure a respectful and supportive work environment.

The stand food is absurdly overpriced, not very fresh, and the clerks are expecting tips to serve you. I am paying more than $40 for a hotdog, chips, and a beer plus tax. And some slow moving sloth-type clerk thinks she should get $6 for dishing out these three items. Sorry, not happening.

Why do we allow arenas like this to absolutely screw us over as consumers? The food and drinks are criminally over priced. A single beer is just about $20 and it's nearly $10 for either a measly hot dog or a reheated slice of frozen pizza. Also, this trend of not allowing vapes in arenas but cigarettes are fine should be criminal as well. Why should I be penalized for using a healthier alternative whereas cigarette smokers can just walk right in with no issues? That's so silly. What harm am I going to do with an electronic smoking device? Common sense is just gone from society and it's sad. Will never come to an event here ever again and actively have told large amounts of people to avoid it as well
