My friends' and I love this place. We've been coming here for years and we always love the food. I recommend making a reservation if you're going in with a large group or are eating after 7pm as it can get kinda crowded. We love the sesame oil and all the sides, having the appetizers included is always great. Sometimes the service can get a little slow when it's super busy but that's understandable. If you're a regular the shirts are cheap and let you get a free soda if you wear them. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants reasonably priced all you can eat KBBQ.
We found this hidden gem by accident! We are not from SoCal but we love Korean BBQ. We were choosing this place to let the horrible traffic slow down. This place has a flippn awesome. They have a very small parking lot so be prepared to do valet parking. We got lucky and got there when a parking was available so we felt fortunate. The food is brought out super fast and even the appetizers we ate! The service was great. Not sure we will ever be in the area again but if we are we will def come back! This place is a must try if you are passing through!
1st time at this restuarant. Cool vibe, easy valet parking. Reasonable pricing. We had gotten the top tier menu with lots of options of meat.
Coming from the East Coast, where there aren’t any Korean BBQ restaurants near me, this was actually my very first experience trying it, and I have to say, Meat Love Korean BBQ set the bar really high. The all-you-can-eat option was fantastic, with fresh, flavorful cuts of meat that kept coming without long waits. What really impressed me was how attentive the staff were, stopping by often to swap out the grill top with a clean one. That small detail made a big difference, keeping the food tasting great without all the smoke and char building up. The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food. The restaurant has a lively and welcoming vibe, and I especially loved the big marker board up front filled with doodles and notes from other customers. It gave the place a really fun, personal feel and showed how much people enjoy coming here. For a first-time Korean BBQ experience, this couldn’t have been better. Fresh food, great service, and a unique atmosphere made it a dining experience I’ll definitely remember.
I’ve been looking for pet friendly KBBQ and finally found this place. We had early dinner here yesterday. Everything went well, the quality + quantity of meats were good and generous. Service was pretty attentive and fast. Probably you should arrive earlier since it will get busy during dinner. BTW if you can’t find parking spot, they have valet parking service for $3. The fact that they welcome dog, I would definitely come here again in the future.
This was by far one of the best experiences I've had in a while. Your paying a great price for the portions of food they serve to you, and the fact that your actually cooking your own food is definitely a bonus. Our server was really Awsome! We will return soon and thanks again for being so welcoming 😁👍🏾
This place is the best Korean BBQ place I have been. Valet parking is very affordable. The wait time can be intimidating, but that's just because they're really popular. Even the sides are delicious, all on their own. Frequent grill changes, fast delivery of very fresh meats, and the ventilation system keeps the smoke to a very minimum. I will definitely be back.
Bulgolgi was excellent but, this is an all you can eat spot so all the meat that isn’t marinated is frozen. This is a good place for a group of 4-5 friends, we tried to fit 6 around one of the round tables and we were pretty cramped. They only had one sixtop available when we went and nobody was even sitting there. This place used to be good, but service was kinda poor, forgot to bring us drinks we ordered, didn’t refill water, didn’t bring more sauces or sides. I shouldn’t have to ask you for everything. If your menu is complaining about the wage you have to pay someone it’s just a bad sign. mandatory 15% gratuity applied to the bill is just wild. Just charge what you need to in order to pay your wages.
Great ayce for the price. I did the premium version and got the beef short rib and marinated beef rib which was good. I liked the steamed egg too! I thought the rib eye steak was too lean. Everything else i got was standard fare and didn’t stand out to me, but wasnt bad either. Service wasn’t too slow, but I think they should incorporate a button at each table to call a waiter since it was hard to get attention.
I’m glad they took down the tent in the parking lot and is back to being inside the restaurant. This was our 2nd time coming here. You write your name and party size on a clipboard at the front. We waited about 30/40 mins on a Saturday night. The restaurant is decent sized and has plenty of tables/searing. Service is quick, you can let them know which items you want more of. We liked the brisket, bulgogi and kimchi rice lunch box. The side dishes were good too. The price is also good. FYI, they also include 15% gratitude to your bill. We found street parking around the corner.
Meat Love is a really solid Korean BBQ restaurant here in LA. I will first mention why only 4 stars. First, seating is only outside in a tent. This is not good for a variety of reasons. The grill is elevated on a small burner on the side of the round table. This makes it hard to access, but what is worse is that the splattering oil will hit you and burn due to the height elevation and wind. Second, staff aren’t as attentive as I would prefer. You have to really hunt them down to order more meats or side dishes. Third, they intentionally give you a ton of the meats you order up front, causing you to get full fast and not get to try other meats. The good parts about this restaurant is that the meats are delicious and fresh. The best meats of the night were the beef brisket and smoky beef belly. These super thin cut meats had so much flavor and melted in your mouth. The pork belly was ok. Definitely chewy and Not that fatty. It was fine but nothing like I have had elsewhere. The marinated pork ribs were pretty good. Tons of flavor, but the quantity was too much for one order. They had good side dishes of rice, radish wraps, spicy cucumber, macaroni salad, bean sprouts, and fish cakes. These were all delicious and bountiful. They brought out some fermented radish, but this was so fermented that it began tasting like wine which was not good. Sauces included a standard sweet soy sauce, a spicy sambal, and the coveted salt and sesame oil. Overall, we all had a good experience, and at a price of just $24, it’s a great value. They DO include 15% tip when they bring out the bill, so be aware!
Wait time was 2 hours, which was normal considering it was a Sunday and VDay, so I expect it to be the same everywhere else- with no reservations. Checked in, put name down and number. Walked around for a bit, stop by down the street for some tea, 2 hours passed by and our table was ready. No big deal, very appreciative that restaurant are open for dine out :) It was supe busy, but our server was on point. I think this is my first ever ayce experience where nothing that we ordered was forgotten. The meat was good quality, sides fresh and the apps, omg we love apps, were plenty. We got premium package which was $26.99, which is cheap compared to what we get in sgv, but I guess this is the price point for ktown? We selected rib eye steak, tounge, short rib, rib finger and mostly the premium items. Also tried the small intestines, but it was a nope. Looks good, nothing wrong with it, but the taste was not our thing. The best was the short rib- oh so soft and buttery. Cheese corn was addicting, pour it over the lunchbox and it is more amazing. Fav banchan is the cucumber kimchi. We got like three round. It really compliments the whole meal and was refreshing. Overall, it was worth the 2 hour wait. The staff is on top of their game and we love the attentiveness of entire waitstaff. Will be back soon!
I was really looking forward to trying this Korean barbecue spot, especially given all the hype about the food. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. We weren’t greeted with much enthusiasm, and it took quite a while for anyone to seat us—even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. Once we were finally at our table, we waited another 15 minutes before anyone came by to take our drink orders. The biggest letdown, however, was the inattentive staff. We had to flag someone down multiple times just to get basic things. Our server seemed rushed and uninterested. To be fair, the food itself was decent—the marinated beef and pork belly were flavorful, and the side dishes were fresh. But with service this poor, it’s hard to enjoy the experience. Meat love BBQ is meant to be interactive and fun(there’s even a bar attached to the restaurant), but we ended up feeling frustrated and ignored. There are definitely better options out there where you’re treated with more care and respect. TBH I don’t know if we’ll be returning.
So sad what this place has become… service is terrible meats come out frozen. Came here 3/5 around 8pm and one man and woman to serve the whole restaurant which was ok because it wasn’t too busy when we first got there. You would think that since it was pretty empty we’d get quality food but on the contrary our fries dumplings were refried and looked burnt yet when we touched them they were super cold. We told the man and he just said oh yeah sorry idk they’re coming from the kitchen and walked away. Sucks this used to be our favorite place but quality of food has gone to trash…
Very limited options, and you can only choose 3 dishes at a time. Drinks and desserts are extra charges even it’s called all-you-can-eat. One of the owners seems to have some attitude. The food isn’t that good.
Premium meats were brought out frozen. Unacceptable. Grills were drafty from wind and open doors, making half of the food not cook on one side of the grill. Had to ask at least 4 different employees to stop turning grill down after I sat there for 30 mins thawing one frozen steak.
03/22/2025 First off I’m shook, that anyone that has reviewed this place had the audacity to give it 5-Stars, the experience was horrible. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was awful. The servers were unfriendly and seemed disinterested in providing a welcoming atmosphere which set the negative tone for our meal. To make matters worse, I noticed the restaurant had received a B rating from the health department, which made me nervous from the start. This feeling was only amplified when we were served a veggie kabob that had visible mold on it (image attached) When we pointed it out, there was no apology or explanation from the staff – they simply took it away with no real sense of concern or accountability. And BTW!! **Gratuity is already included on your bill** All in all, this experience left much to be desired. Between the lack of customer service, questionable health practices, and subpar food quality, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone. If you're looking for a satisfying Korean barbecue experience, there are definitely better options out there, this is LA.
This did not feel like Korean BBQ. The side dishes tasted moldy, and the marinated meats were overly sweet, likely due to the use of a cheap sugar substitute. While I understand that AYCE restaurants often use lower-grade meats, the issues here go beyond that. The cleanliness, sauces, and overall quality of the meats were unacceptable. The only thing I could manage to eat was their egg dish. The grills weren’t cleaned properly, with leftover grease and meat residue bubbling up when heated—it was incredibly unappetizing. Also, there was a strange purple substance on the meat, which seemed unusual and concerning. I regret trusting the 4.3-star review. This place urgently needs a health inspection. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
