Love coming here. Old school and charming. A local beacon in a heavily touristed area. Wonderful service.
A true hidden legend in Hollywood. Great Italian food, great cocktails menu, wonderful singing from the wait staff. One of our favourite places to go when in Los Angeles.
I had the delicious buffalo chicken pizza with ranch and a little spice! The waiter and live piano music added to this wonderful dining experience. I totally recommend it great food reasonable price and large proportions. On top of the fun Italian atmosphere the bartender makes the mean and awesome chocolate martini when in Los Angeles this is one restaurant you should check out!
I recently visited Miceli’s with a group of 15 people for a special occasion. They were very accommodating with our reservation and had everything ready for us upon arrival. Could not have asked for a better experience. The service was terrific and very enjoyable for everyone. The menu had plenty of options for our entire party. The most memorable thing about Miceli”s was the live entertainment. They had an excellent piano player throughout the evening. The staff would rotate up to the piano and sing. It was really a great touch to the experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Hollywood area and are looking for something memorable and not touristy.
Miceli's is a delicious little piece of Hollywood history. They have a large selection of Italian favorites and a huge menu. They also have pizza which I haven't yet tried but it looked wonderful. I can recommend the eggplant parmesan and the lasagna. The atmosphere is super cool old school Italian and is like a restaurant that you would see in a movie.
Nestled in the heart of culinary delight, this vintage Italian gem mesmerizes with its divine pizza bread, a symphony of crispy crust and delicate flavors that dance on your taste buds. The ambience, a perfect blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance, transports you to a bygone era where every moment is an ode to gastronomic bliss. A culinary haven that captures the essence of Italy in every savory bite and enchanting atmosphere. Bellissimo!
We met with some dear friends for a Pizza night. I hadn’t had Miceli’s Pizza in a few years. Let me tell you, after having Miceli’s Pizza it will be difficult to want to eat Pizza anywhere else. We ordered 2 medium size one the Miceli’s Special & the other a Margarita. Let me tell you, that Margarita was delicious. I have never had a Margarita Pizza with Garlic. It was Devine.Next up was a slice of the Special. Wow! What a delicious Pizza ! The size of their medium is a large anywhere else. There was more than enough for 4 people and take home about half. They also have a Full Bar, wine & beer. I definitely Recommend. Our location last night was the one on Las Palmas & Hollywood Blvd. They also will validate your parking voucher.
This is a traditional Italian spot with a full array of favorites. We shared a plate of garlic cheese bread, which was wonderful.
I LOVE this old Hollywood Italian restaurant. It is my favorite restaurant in Hollywood. Owned and operated by the Miceli family since 1949. When you walk into the restaurant you are transported back in time. Fabulous atmosphere! Most nights they have a person playing the piano, as you dine. The wooden booths on the main floor are the best seats in house. I highly recommend the lasagna with bake mozzarella & a meatball. The restaurant is used a lot for filming, so it may look familiar when you enter. Great place to go before or after a show at The Pantages.
Uncle Frank’s Tiramisu was fantastic. Not your classic tiramisu but great flavor and texture. Service was fantastic and our server sang like Julie Andrew’s! Even tho they were busy they treated us like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Highly recommend. Oh…the pizza is amazing.
Great food, great atmosphere, the singing was wonderful. If I lived nearby I'd definitely be coming back!
In the middle of the Hollywood tourist area, but the prices will surprise you! Prices were reasonable, even for drinks. Food was a bit on the salty side, but overall, it was good. Service was amazing, and the ambiance was cool and comfortable! Live piano music!
Just celebrated an amazing Valentine’s Day at Miceli’s. This place was perfect. Service was top notch. Ambiance and atmosphere were so old school and welcoming. The vibe was joyful. No rudeness, no uppity. Just great singers and incredible dishes. Well done!
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. When entering into this restaurant, it has a very nice rustic atmosphere, and the food is amazing. You can definitely tell the food is all made from scratch and home made. This restaurant is hollywood history, and whem you eat here, the atmosphere and the excellent food makes it no wonder why it is hollywood history.
Service is weirdly good. I got the feeling that the servers could work at much more expensive places, but love the restaurant itself. Just really good attuned and elegant people. Also it’s gorgeous inside, obviously.
We had Aunt Angie's Original Lasagna, Chicken Lasagna + some Pizza (half Shrimp Garlic and half Special) All of them was good! We loved all of them! My favorite was Special Please pizza and Aunt Angie's Original Lasagna. Our server was very friendly but the server who prepared our table to be seated was kind of rude! We were almost about to leave but when we saw different server is taking our order we decided to stay! The price was okay, not too expensive or cheap. I loved the atmosphere, the dim lighting and the relaxing piano! For Italian food in this area I would recommend them!
We are here with family members a week ago and loved the experience. Food was good, service was good and the fact that many of the waiters were singing traditional Italian songs for everyone along with the great pianist playing was definitely a highlight of this restaurant visit. Recommend checking out Hollywoods oldest Italian restaurant!
So just got takeout from this place and one thing I want to point out is that I walked 15 min to get back to my apartment from here and my food was still steaming hot by the time I got back and opened it up. I was impressed by this! First-The location is right off Hollywood boulevard on the left hand side. Walking in it feels like a really nice Italian restaurant feel. It felt authentic. The good thing was there was a wait so it shows it’s popular and it was packed. Open kitchen concept so you can see the chefs. It was a cool spot. Second-The food was top notch. It was unbelievable. The portion sizes are great and the taste is just to die for. I got the chicken cacciatore and my fiancé got the rigatoni with meat sauce and she couldn’t even finish her dish. It’s definitely a great spot to check out if you’re looking for Italian food. I HIGHLY recommend
The food was great, the bread rolls we're great, the atmosphere was amazing. It was almost like stepping back through time. The place had a lot of character, from its decor to the pianist playing jazz and show tunes from the early 1900s to the opera singer of a waiter who performed songs between waiting tables. It was a very cool experience and I would go again.
If I could give Micelis 10 out of 5, I definitely would :). From the guy playing the piano, the girl and her brilliant singing voice, the two waiters with Pavarotti-like voices, the cool old-school feel, it was an experience I will remember for a very long time. The chicken parmigiana was perfect, as well as the bottle of Chianti. I hope to come here again when I'm next in LA. Definitely do come here if you are after a positively unforgettable experience :).
Amazing! Beautiful old school Italian restaurant. Service is great. Atmosphere is lovely! I had 1/2 spaghetti and 1/2 ravioli. The spaghetti was great, but the ravioli (with meat) was the best I’ve ever had! I cannot wait to go back for more! My bf had Aunt Angie’s Orginal lasagna and also LOVED it! We split a the Uncle Frank’s tiramisu, which was also great! Thank you for being just soooo good!
This is a great old pizza dive with pasta. It is NOT over priced. Staff was great. Full bar, live entertainment and great deserts.
Food was delicious. The place is nice, quiet and intimate. The service was amazing, we loved our server.
Food is the Italian American food from your childhood. The atmosphere is the best and full of nostalgia. Feels like you are in another time inside this beautiful spot in Hollywood.
Fantastic food - great ambiance in a traditional Italian restaurant. If your looking for the perfect meal, candles (LED) on the tables and live piano and waitstaff that sings too, this is a must stop, family owned, local eatery. Service was adequate, but a bit slow at times (took nearly 10 mins for first contact from our waitress). Still, if we lived in this area, this would be a regular place for us, no doubt about it.
A very nice ambiance sets this delightful Italian diner. It's a staple of legendary Hollywood dining. The food is excellent as well as the service. We had lasagna and chicken parmesan. So good. As well, enjoy the live music of a wonderful piano player adding a nice character to the evening. If you've never been to this legendary restaurant, give it go.
Great atmosphere, with unique decorations, songs sung by the staff and lively piano playing at might time. The staff was great and helped us with anything we wanted. The food was amazing and had unique options they only make there. Love it!
Our experience was excellent! My son and I dined here and, because we had a late lunch and saw that the portions were huge, we asked to share an appetizer and an entree. Some waiters tend to look disappointed and even annoyed when a table orders one entree but our server was so nice and offered to split it onto two plates for us. The food was GREAT and the portions were perfect when we shared. The restaurant has so much character and, although completely full, wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. The singing waiters are incredibly entertaining but, again, not so loud that everything stops when they start.
We loved the lasagna and fried zucchini. The eggplant parmigiano was pretty good but I prefer the eggplant in red sauce. The rolls were a bit salty to us but not bad. I'd give them five stars just for being interesting. The dark, carved wood with the stained glass light and chianti bottles everywhere made for a unique ambience. Wish I'd gotten some singing but it was a slow lunch hour when I was there.
I have no complaints. The food is amazing. I invited my family to meet up for mothers day dinner. They were a bit skeptical since their Normal Italian spot is Vincent's in Rancho. But 😏😏😏😏hey, Than there's this Place that makes you wanna Eat till you can't no more. 😅 Two people ordered spaghetti 🍝
I love this place SO much and would come here more often if LA traffic wasn't what it is. Words really can't describe what needs to be seen and experienced first hand. How can you truly describe ambiance? This place is dripping with Old Hollywood charm. The food and service are equally fantastic!
Open since 1949 this is a famous restaurant in LA known for singing waiters and good Italian food. Although tonight we did not hear any singing waiters, but it was also very busy and they were short staffed. They also have a location up in the valley but this Hollywood location was the original. It’s also known to be the first pizzeria in LA, although I have heard Barone’s up in the valley is the first, especially since that location was opened in 1945. Inside is like old Hollywood complete with thousands of old Chianti bottles hanging from the rafters. They have a parking lot behind the restaurant that validates your parking. You pay when you park but the restaurant then compensates you, however we were able to find metered parking close by on N Las Palmas for a 7PM Saturday dinner. Tonight was our first time trying Miceli’s. Our waiter was really nice, professional, and made the experience a nice one. We started the meal off with Antipasto Salad and it was very tasty with a healthy sized portion. It really hit the spot and was a great start to the meal. Being that they are famous for pizza I had to do that as my entree tonight. I chose the medium sized Clam and Garlic Pizza and really enjoyed it. It is not a woodfire pizza, which is my favorite and the most authentic, but still it was very good. The sauce really made it and they didn’t short the ingredients. Overall a really tasty and casual American Italian dinner in a warm and romantic setting. I plan to be back in the future to try some of their pasta and entree dishes.
We had a great time here, really nice Hollywood vibe. Manager went out of his way to find us a great table, service was good and the writers singing great entertainment. Our good was also very nice. Would re immend a visit if in that part of town.
Wonderful atmosphere , food, and staff! The waiter sings between tables and has a lovely voice along with a great pianist. The bartender went through the trouble of finding a drink recipe to make me happy! 10/10
Incredible dining experience. Absolutely loved this restaurant. Ambience, music, food, and service is impeccable. Brian on the piano made the whole night a delight. Started off with the most delicious bruschetta. Club soda was 🤌🏽😩 got the spinach lasagna and chicken carbonara and both were stupendous. Flavor on flavor. Our waiter was phenomenal. World class service. He surprised with an incredible singing voice. A memorable date night out celebrating my wife’s birthday was a success thanks to this absolute gem. 💎
The music is very amazing. The pianist (Bryan) is playing with soul and heart. A lot of classical songs that brought us unforgettable memory. Not to mention the Italian food was very well served. The waiter was also very sweet and care and he suddenly sung a song with his professional drama play voice!! That was unexpected and what a surprise to us! Finally, the restaurant is Kids friendly so the my family enjoyed a beautiful live music with delicious Italian food at our last night of the LA trip. It was our best night ever! Thank you!
We stumbled upon Miceli's while walking the Hollywood stars. Piano player and waitresses/waiters singing begins at 6 pm, which added to the historic ambiance! My husband had Aunt Angie's lasagna and I had the vegetable cacciatore with cheesy garlic bread! Everything was very good! Our waiter, Oliver, was excellent and a great singer! Parking is $4 with validation at the nearby lot. Highly recommended!!
It is one of the classy Italian restaurants we dine in for a birthday celebration. Our server Ricardo and the rest of the team make us special for the excellent and amazing service! The ambiance is quiet, clean, and beautiful, perfect for a group gathering and a date, too. The food served at its finest and authentic pasta is so hot and delicious, lasagna, pizza, and with big servings good for sharing at a reasonable price. Overall, 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 must be here! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Definitely go if you come to Hollywood!! Has the BEST decorations I’ve seen. It was such an experience to sit in this restaurant!! An amazing date spot. Food is great (not the best seafood linguine). But TRY THEIR CALAMARI!! It was amazing. The service is great. The waitress were so so respectful!
This has to be one of the coolest Italian Restaurants that I have ever been to. As I sat in there, it was making me a bit emotional thinking that the environment in there could have been close to what my Nonno would have experienced in Italy. The food was great, the service was fantastic. They play the piano and sing to you as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is wanting an Italian experience
Super yummy place! Tucked away near Hollywood Blvd, we were pleasantly surprised to find this cozy little restaurant. I had the Aunt Angie's original lasagna and my boyfriend the fettucine carbonara. We were both very satisfied by our choices. PS the bread is to die for. Loved how attentive our server was. He made sure we had plenty of bread and water throughout service :)
This is a serious classic Italian restaurant that looks, feels and tastes like old little Italy. The menu is basic anti-pasta, traditional Italian dishes and pasta of all types. This place has been around a looooooong time. If you are in Hollywood, this place hits the spot for the hungry.
It is difficult to remember every single place you visited in your life, but Miceli restaurant is absolutely one of those who you will remember it forever. Everything was fantastic, the food, the atmosphere, the old Italian decoration, the classic music and the singers who are also serving as waiters. I was lucky that Cail was the waiter serving me, he is so friendly and active. I felt like if I was in dream since I got inside the restaurant until the last moment.
My family and I had the most amazing experience dining here. Excellent food, top notch service, and authentic Italian dining ambience (live piano music which my whole family loved!) We truly appreciate the friendly service from the manager (I believe?) since we were welcomed at the door, to down to the food service. To cap it off, we were already a block away, when the manager ran looking for us cause my son left his watch! What great effort, righr? I’m sure my son would remember this place forever! We truly appreciate the gesture. We will definitely be back!❤️
Billed as “Hollywood’s oldest Italian restaurant”, Miceli’s Italian did not disappoint. It’s an old place with a lot of wood and empty Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling. The food is best described as “East coast Italian”, where they cook the tomato sauce all day to get it right. And there’s a live piano player, with a special surprise every 15-20 minutes. This place is great for families, groups, and dates. Portions are fairly big, but you can take leftovers home and have a great lunch tomorrow. There’s no valet, but there is a large self-parking lot just to the south of the restaurant. You pay the attendant $20, and he gives you a ticket. Get that ticket validated in the restaurant and the parking attendant will give you $16 back (for up to two hours of parking).
Miceli's Italian Restaurant in Hollywood is a true classic! Established in 1949, it's the oldest Italian restaurant in Hollywood and has been serving up delicious, traditional Italian-American fare for over 70 years. Walking through the doors is like stepping back in time, with its red-checkered tablecloths, vintage photos, and charmingly old-school atmosphere. Yes, it's a touristy spot (and for good reason!), but don't let that deter you. The food is fantastic, and the experience is truly unique. Where else can you enjoy a plate of spaghetti and meatballs while being serenaded by singing waiters? Speaking of the food, the marinara sauce is absolutely incredible. It's rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of tang. It's a reminder that Italian-American cuisine, while distinct from traditional Italian cooking, has its own rich history and traditions. The marinara sauce, for example, evolved in the US from simple tomato sauces brought over by Italian immigrants who then adapted them using ingredients readily available in America. We also tried the Miceli's location in Universal City, and while it lacks the historical charm of the original, the food was equally delicious. And the pizza? It's a classic California-style pizza, thin crust with generous toppings, the kind that some (like Flavio Briatore with his Crazy Pizza) try to claim as their own original creation. Overall, Miceli's is a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of old-school Hollywood and delicious Italian-American comfort food. The location is fantastic, the food is great, and the singing waiters add a touch of fun and nostalgia. Highly recommend!
We had a reservation and the restaurant wasn't very full, but we still waited 10+ minutes before the waiter even came by. We honestly waited longer to order than we did for our food! I still give this place 4 stars for the incredible food. Everyone loved their meals. Also enjoyed Merlot special for $20.
Interior is bigger then it looks from the outside. We were situated in the third floor with is very narrow for a tall person. There is live piano person playing along with waiters singing Italian music, awesome! We ordered pizzas, fettuccine and for dessert we had cannolis. A must stop if your near , reservations are better and ask for a seat near the piano.
Very cool atmosphere and the piano player, Brian, was great. It has an old-school feel and kinda seems like you stepped into an old Italian dive in New York. Even though it was busy the tables are arranged so that we felt comfortable and intimate. The lasagna was great, they brought out warm bread that was good, and they always kept our water glasses full. The pesto was a little dry and not as flavorful as I like, but the meatballs were good. We would come back if we are ever in the area again, mostly for the atmosphere and the piano player.
A well known Hollywood institution, my friend used to come here 40 years ago. I loved it immediately because you can feel the history and the moody ambiance is fun and atmospheric. The service is good , prices reasonable and the food delicious,. We had fried zucchini ( deep fried zucchini fritters), spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread and lasagne. Everything was delicious but pretty rich ( the garlic bread large slices of doughy deliciousness). Only fault is that the meatballs, marinara and lasagne had a lot of garlic. I understand, being Italian , this is expected but it was almost overkill ..Overall, I loved it. Recommend .
Great ambiance. Mozzarella sticks and spaghetti were great. I'm a Caesar salad lover and did not love this one tho.
Food was all delicious, the Sausage Cacciatore and Fettuccine Carbonara were the best! The ambiance and wood decor on the interior is stunning and we loved the vibe. Live piano music and our waiter did sing a song and had an amazing voice. Prices are average but go for the history, vibe and food.
This place just screams fun. Walking in is like stepping back in time. Looking up, you wonder if this is a Hollywood prop or did someone drink that much Chianti. The sound of piano hits you as you step inside. And for the lover of movies or stage, you'll recognize the tunes. And stick around long enough, the staff may pick up a microphone and sing a tune. The food is definitely shareable, so choose wisely. The Pizza options are good for families, and the salads are just too large for one person. The lasagne is good and hearty while the chicken lasagne disappeared from my friends plate too quickly for me to even attempt a taste. While I only gave the food 3 stars, it isn't because it's bad, but it doesn't stand out. But if you are in Hollywood and have a group of people to feed, this is a terrific place. You get good food, an amazing atmosphere and possibly a show all for a reasonable price.
We ordered take-out to watch the Rams game at home. It was easy to order online. This was our first time ordering from Miceli’s. The pizza, spaghetti, ravioli, and cheese bread were delicious. We will definitely return to Miceli’s.
We were looking for an old Italian atmosphere and Micelis didn't disappoint there. There is even piano music in the evenings. The service was excellent. My friends dish was amazing and fresh. I ordered a mitai (sic) and got some lime thing. Then I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and it was awful. The pasta was super chewy, stuck together, and the chicken was super dry and not fresh. The sauce was good. I felt like the pasta abs chicken was warmed up or something from yesterday. It looked nothing like my friends dish that had fresh, moist chicken. And for almost $30 a plate with nothing else included, i was very disappointed. I didn't complain because I'm always afraid of what would happen in the back, but it was a disappointment out of a great evening otherwise.
Came here for first time, had heard the food was good. The inside of restaurant is pretty cool. Was seated quickly, server was polite and friendly. Ordered drinks and appetizers along with a pizza we decided to get for dinner. The appetizers came out in timely fashion, and were amazing, the meatballs were juicy and seasoned well, the bread was dense and cheesy, both very good. Our pizza for some reason took an hour to come out, which honestly wouldn't have been a big deal if our server had told us what was going on, if a mistake was made, that happens, we would have understood, but no communication. Lucky for us the apps were so good we were pretty full, lol, the restaurant did give us the pizza for free, which they didn't need to do, but was an awesome gesture. The pizza was worth the wait, probably 1 of the best ive had in a long time. Definitely would recommend this place and will be back again soon.
Great place old style Italian restaurant they had a guy playing the piano really nice also the service was great but they need to speak with the manager because the hosts are nasty and slow food is good for California but the food was ok. I’m used to eating in nyc but I would definitely recommend this place if you’re close by
Went in exited for Italian food. Having actually been to Italy and eaten authentic Italian food I had high expectations. Service was fine, and the waiter recommended the lasagna. I got a tasteless lasagna with béchamel that looked dry and powdery (?). What is this? Frozen? The others in my party had a chicken fettuccine which was okay, and a pizza which tasted like it had premade frozen dough. Not too much taste. Don’t recommend this place if you like Italian food. It was probably a good restaurant once, but it’s not anymore.
Stayed one night in Hollywood and decided to give Miceli’s a chance seeing they had dinner and live music. Seated within a couple minutes, but the rest of the evening took forever to get any of the staff’s attention. Waited approximately 15 minutes to get drinks ordered, and ordered food at the same time. Our waiter was extremely helpful when we could get his attention, but he rarely came around unless food was being brought out or passing by to take another tables order. I was not impressed by the portions of food compared to the price. My daughters $15 kids meal had almost the same amount of food my $24 meal and hers came with dessert and a drink. Altogether spent around an hour and a half to two hours in the restaurant with majority of the time waiting and listening to the live music.
Miceli’s has an incredible old-school Hollywood atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t live up to the setting. The red sauce was overly sweet and tasted past its prime, the shrimp oreganata lacked flavor and was overpriced, and the spinach lasagna came out stale. The one highlight was the cannoli, which was delicious. Overall, it’s a shame such a beautiful restaurant falls short on the food—I don’t think I’d return.
Came to this restaurant tonight as was struggling to find somewhere Food was average but portions were quite large They were good at refilling our sodas when we finished a glass Meal was quite pricey and given the quality we wouldn’t return
very good atmosphere but the food is not italian actually. we didnt like it
The food was just not good... we ordered 2 kinds of pizzas, even the margarita wasn't good (for some reason they put a lot of fresh garlic on the pizza). We also ordered a few pasta dishes, none were tasty. Also because we were 6 people they automatically charged us for 20% service. It also very darkamd loud.
Saw the reviews on line, so we checked it out… big mistake probably some of the worst service and lackluster food at a restaurant we’ve encountered for years. Our server was absolutely not interested in taking care of us. Drinks took a long time to get to the table and one of our main entrees was completely missed. Maybe this place was good when it opened in 1948…certainly not now.
Not sure where all the 5 star reviews come from. Place was pretty dirty and empty. Pizza tasted off. Server was nice and a guy was playing the piano.
The interior design is so beautiful. But the food is so trash, I have never seen restaurant, specifically Italian restaurant make pasta like This. It very mild tasteless past ever. I would make Better past than the cook they had behind the kichen. Me and my family visited the restaurant around 1 pm and they had good server’s that were attentive but the food was really bad. I’m a past and pizza lover but this time I had to just leave as is with one or two bites. Imagine you being located around walk of fame Hollywood and serve this kind is pasta.
The resturaunt has a charming atmosphere and unique history, but that is about the most positive aspect of the experience. We were one of the only groups in the resturaunt, but service took about an hour. The food was not particularly special except for in its pricing, which was pretty extreme.
Gorgeous restaurant, lots of history, love all the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling. Probably the worst pizza I've ever had. Lasagne was good, I'd recommend ordering that. Service was very slow, and they weren't that busy. If you're hanging around Hollywood, and don't want to eat at a chain, you might consider Miceli's.
After going to the El Capitan Theatre, after watching Lady and the tramp, I decided to take my kids here so that we can re-create a little spaghetti moment from the movie. The vibes are immaculate. The place is beautiful. The live music is wonderful and I was surprised to know that all the waiters and we just could sing we ordered a small kids, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti marinara sauce with meat and a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and cheesy garlic bread. Unfortunately the food was not that great. The cheesy garlic bread was raw in the middle and I had a raw dough and it was chewy. I thought I was pulling apart pieces of cheese, but turns out it was actually the raw dough. My fettuccine was super al dente. I understand the fettuccine noodles are a little bit on the hard side, but I think that they were in a rush because it was Valentine’s Day. The spaghetti was a little bit too sweet. I was still charged for the fettuccine Alfredo even though I did not eat it. I only took one bite. They did offered to remake it, but at that time we would’ve overstay because we only had the table until 8 o’clock and the food was taking a little bit a long time to come out because of the fact that it was Valentine’s Day and it was full it’s a fun place but the food is not that great.
Far past its prime, if it ever had one. The wait staff were polite and pleasant -- bless them. But the food is garbage. I didn't know it was possible to mess up a carbonara, but I do now. Pizza's cardboard. Expect Hollywood prices for sub-Compton quality. Don't go here.
I was attending a film festival and this place was recommended by festival staff. I was told that since I was alone, I'd have to sit at the bar. Weird. They weren't busy. Ordered a cheese pizza. Took 35 minutes. It was cardboard. Service wasn't great. It is definitely a tourist trap.
My husband and I went here for dinner before heading over to a concert. We ordered prosciutto with melon, and order of the steamed mussels and chicken parmigiana. All of it was terrible. The mussels were dry, you could tell they had been overcooked/steamed and had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The pasta sauce was like a jar of Ragu sauce had been opened and poured over the pasta. We asked for an extra plate so we could split the chicken. Asked three times. The dinner rolls were hard and stale. I'm surprised this restaurant is still in business.
My family and I had dinner here last night (7 of us ) and the food was okay, however the service was horrible. Our server was rude and dismissive, it took 20 min to get water refills, we asked for another order of bread and I never came, we asked for a bag to take our left overs and that never came. My oldest daughter said excuse me to our server and he replied “ what “ as if we were bothering him. This was our first time here and I would not return due to the service, as I stated before the food was okay but definitely overpriced. Our server needs to be retrained on how to interact with his customers.
Very poor quality, pastas served cold, undercooked and tasteless. Don't waste your money on overpriced food with very simple bland flavourless. It's like its been cooked from a frozen box.
