I love the drive thru that this spot has. It is really fast because they have cooks just for the drive thru. I have never been in line longer than 5 minutes. And their carne asada is so good!

This is one of my favorite places to eat!!! Bomb tacos and burritos. You gotta get the pastor and add cheese omg 10/10. Will be back for sure. Actually I'm always coming back lol!!

The carnitas was bomb! Varna Asada was a little dry. The refried beans are absolutely amazing, and they let you go up to a buffet style to get the beans and salsa and other condiments. I don’t know it was a good dinner. I definitely recommend this place.

Good food, options, prices & open 24hrs. I usually get the supper burrito, their plates & tacos are good as well. Both the carne Asada and chicken are tasty. I wish they had a mild salsa, I have used the green salsa when cooking a pound of meat for tacos at home. I do like the fact that they have cheesecake on their menu however it’s a little lackluster and could use some toppings like fruit or a caramel drizzle.

I love this place. It’s quick, cheap and consistent for a very quality “fast food” burrito. Their super burrito is unique in SoCal since it has guac and sour cream like the burritos I am used to and miss from NorCal.

I've been here a few times since 2019 and have always had a good experience. I've had tortas and nachos so far. I believe they make their own chips because they have a unique fresh taste. They have an employee almost always keeping the dining room clean. A clean dining area represents a clean line and kitchen, so I recommend this place for those who love food establishments that keep their dining area clean. This location sits on what was once an old style McDonald's that had arches on the establishment (Google map this as far as 2007). I consider this corner part of DTLA despite the fact it actually sits on the South L.A. side of Washington Blvd. Washington Blvd. borderlines DTLA and South L.A. at Central Ave. 🌯 🚲

I ate at this place on a Friday night because the train stopped, by San Pedro st the train lady said the train is going back to Pomona, so I had to wait for my ride, I walked 2 Mins and saw tacos Gavilan , so i decided to try out the food, the place was nice, decent friendly ,cashier was nice as well. I order a super burrito de asada, with a drink, I waited for my number to be called, i took like 5mins To be honest the super burrito looked like a regular size burrito, the burrito was some what ok. Didn't like the flavor of the beans to me it taste it was can beans ,the rice was mushy, the meat was somewhat decent. What help it was the fresh slice of Limon they had , grilled onions and chile you can choose and the sauce they had. Would I come back again ? Not really, do I recommend you guys to try it out the place? It's your choice, but just remember this is my opinion, if you been coming to this place and you like the food then keep on coming and support the place you guys enjoy. This is why we have to try out different places to see of we like the food or not.

Tasty Burrito and Nachos 3 1/2 stars, I had the burrito and nachos at this place and found them to be tasty. The burrito was packed with flavorful ingredients, though a bit more seasoning would have elevated the taste. The nachos de al pastor were delicious, the cheese was actually nacho cheese flavor the chips were round like movie theater chips. Overall, a good option for taco, burrito , nacho food lovers, with a little room for improvement.

In today, November 25, 2025 around about maybe 950 to 10:00 PM Pacific time and one of the cashiers was pretty rude. She didn’t smile she didn’t greet me. She didn’t know eye contact no thank you I was so polite to her. I ordered for myself and my best friend and at the end we just asked for water and she just sent a one water bottle and there was two of us and she just plain rude plain rude and then as we were sitting on our table we chose I was just observing her and she was just so polite to men. Worst tacos I’ve had in LA by far. I honestly thought this place was going to be good but not at all. The chicken and asada were not fresh, as if they gave me chicken that was sitting out for a while. When they hand you the food they throw the tray at you messing up everything. Also, the condiments are all bagged up, you have to tear a plastic bag to get a lime out or get onions, very uncomfortable. This is why you have to stick with street tacos only!
