The Ramen Joint is highly praised for its delicious ramen, quick service, and friendly atmosphere. The Shoyu Tonkotsu ramen is a standout, and sides like Panko Fried Oysters, pork & chicken bao, shrimp rolls, potstickers and spring rolls are also popular. It's conveniently located near LAX.

We had a quick layover in LA and my friend highly recommended this place. This is about a mile from LAX in the downtown Inglewood area. We got to the place in a breeze. Since we put ourselves down in their waitlis while driving to the place, our table was ready by the time we got there! Service was quick and since we knew what to order, we had our hot ramen in front of us in 5 minutes. We all had the Shoyu Tonkutsu and a side of chicken Karage. Everything was delicious! In no time, we were back in LAX to catch our international flight!
I had the Pork Miso Ramen, and it was excellent. My husband and my sister had the Shoyu Chicken Ramen, and they were both very pleased with it. I would definitely come back and try more of their dishes.
Very good ramen and reasonable pricing. The shop has good vibes too. It's just outside LAX so this would be my go to place to get food before and after a flight if I have time, instead of the overpriced options inside the airport
This ramen was a revelation: a deeply savory, rich broth, perfectly chewy noodles, tender chashu pork, and fresh toppings made for an unforgettable, soul-warming bowl that I'd order again in a heartbeat—pure comfort and flavor perfection! This place is a real gem!
We were visiting family and found this place nearby, and we love Ramen. We decided to give it a shot, and it was some of the best ramen we've had to date. Quick service, polite and friendly staff, easy to order and no wait. To compare to Las Vegas you'd have to go to H-Mart to get anything close to this. Absolutely delicious, you wont be disappointed, and we will be back next time we are in town.
This is now our spot when we want to eat before catching a flight at LAX! This little gem is tucked away on a rare street lined with trees adorned with white lights. It’s cozy, and if you’re a cat lover, you’re in for a treat with Japanese kitty decor. Walking in feels like you’re at a friend’s place having you over for ramen. Now to the food… the menu is solid for ramen variety and the apps don’t disappoint either. We started with calamari served w a spicy aioli, and chicken karagé that was light and crispy. The ramen 🍜 was excellent! We had the spicy shoyu tonkatsu (pork) ramen, and the chicken ramen. Both had a rich and flavorful broth, soft, perfectly chewy noodles and that hallmark soft boiled egg. I’d be remissed not to share that the chicken ramen wasn’t just a couple of slices of chicken atop ramen. It was melt in your mouth slow braised chicken (like carnitas texture). Super tender and delicious for a non-pork-eater like me. Eat here. You won’t be disappointed and can taste the time and care they put into their menu. The chef and server were also warm, friendly, and attentive. Thank you, See you next time!
The Mog Champ sends his regards. Saw this reputable ramen place on Google Maps and decided to give this a try for dinner! They were as good as everyone said online. We ordered the mazemen and shoyu tonkotsu. Service was both quick and friendly, we entered just before the restaurant got busy as well. They have Japanese/anime decorations on the walls and menu too which is cute. Thanks for the dinner, Ramen Joint! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ
Great little ramen shop my wife had killer spicy veggie ramen and I had a braised pork rice bowl. Super generous portions service was on point and super fast. Highly recommend if you are killing time before a flight check this place out Came back with the family a second time, she got the same my son got the praises pork bowl, this time I had a pork and a chicken Bao Bun and my daughter had Shoi Chicken Ramen all previous comments hold. Now with photos of the deliciousness
Best warm and cozy ramen I've had yet. You can see them making their own Tonkotsu broth constantly skimming and preparing for more customers. Service was extremely quick by most Ramen restaurant standards, being served within 5 minutes of ordering everything. My wife and I both agree that their broth is the best we've tasted as a comfort food type. She got the Shoyu Chicken Ramen with Edamame as an appetizer and the Yuzu Moshi drink that was delicious. I got the Braised Pork Bun, Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, and Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen. Definitely consider going if you want pure, comfort-style ramen. We were already digging into our bowls by the time we realized that we forgot to take before-pictures, but they were no different from all the other pictures you see on here. Definitely making time to come back before we leave Cali!
I love this Ramen place in Westchester and not because it saves me 30-45 minutes from driving to Sawtelle Blvd. Ambiance: Small but well organized, outdoor Al Fresco seating is available with heating lamps, bar seating next to the chef so you can watch your food getting prepared. Food: Great, tasty, comforting Ramen. Love the broth and the noodles. Service: Fast and efficient. Super polite and also no frills. They get your order, feed you, and make sure your water glass is full.
We were at a hotel near LAX and wanted a good dinner. Reviews on restaurants from Google Maps were raving about this place. They absolutely were on point. Ramon Joint is a small restaurant with Asian styled food. Prices are very reasonable, however, the taste is off the charts a huge WOW!! I could eat there again and again. My wife had the Shoyu Chicken, and I ordered a dish called Mazamen. It was SO tasty. Dinner for two ran about $45 including the tip, and was worth every single cent I paid. The service was also outstanding. Their food is seriously addicting ♥️ Again, it isn’t a fancy place, and somewhat basic, but it was perfect for us. They have vegetarian options, seafood options, rice dishes, etc
I had not been here in years, and was thrilled to see The Ramen Joint was still here! A nice ramen spot! It was cool to see they had some outdoor seating. The menu has your standard options with also ramen with chicken, or veggie options. They have quite a few different sides. I was able to switch my meat for chicken at no extra charge which is not common at all. So, that was much appreciated. The broth was good - I liked it. You already get half an egg in your bowl. I do prefer the egg noodle that are more thick but honestly the overall experience was great and tasty! The crispy rice was okay. The rice was a bit rough, but it was still good. A bit unfortunate that they don’t have gyozas.
Great dining experience! The food was great with a good selection. The service was fast and my server was friendly. The dining area is small and might fill quickly during lunch time, but was not a problem at the time I showed up. If you like Ramen, I would suggest trying The Ramen Joint.
This spot is great. I love to come here after landing at LAX. They have great ramen as well as some stand out sides like their potstickers and spring roles.

It's a real small place & spaces are really tight. Not too many tables & a Ramen bar. The staffs weren't that friendly. They don't greet you, they don't say hello when you sit down and not once they checked up on us during our lunch. The fried oysters was pretty good but the Ramen was okay, it wasn't hot & didn't have enough broth.
Cute spot that has various ramen and rice options. They have a vegetarian option as well. Free street parking. There's counter and outdoor seating available. They have bao options as well. The ramen broth was a bit bland but the noodles were well done. They do give a generous amount of toppings. They have condiments at the table if needed. There is a single occupant restroom in the back. Credit cards accepted.
Dropped by to have a nice quick dinner and sat at the bar! I got seated immediately at the bar and Eduardo served me with a smile! Good dude! The karate bao bun was really tasty (4/5) and the green tea was fresh (tea bag) (4.5/5)! Ramen broth was tasty, but the noodles, egg, and pork belly were somewhat dull in comparison (3.5/5)

Ramen joints should filter their water line into the restaurant. This place doesn't and you can smell and taste the chlorine/city water in your bowl. Server wouldn't let me adjust chilli oil level. Noodles were generic. Passable ramen but far from great.
Overall, good, but not my favorite. It’s entirely personal, but I prefer more depth and savory ramen. The broth and seasoned egg had a hint of sweetness that I wasn’t crazy about. It reminded me of the sweetness that sake-marinated chicken has. The chashu was okay, not a lot of flavor aside from the broth on it, but it was tender and melted. The noodles themselves were good. We also tried the spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer, which was really good. Spicy, but worth it. Service was a bit spotty. We were seated, and eventually someone came by and said she’d be right with us, and then disappeared for about 10 minutes. We ended up putting in our with someone else. It was a rainy day, so the place was busy inside.
We were here last Sunday evening (not too busy and were seated right away at the bar counter) and had their classic Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen (spicy). I wish I liked it more than I did, but our party of 3 didn’t find the ramen really tasteful or savory - but that’s okay. Having lived in SGV and eaten in places like Tsujita, Koppan, HiroNori, Kai Ramen, etc. spoiled it for me. Of note, the pork chashu passes in taste and texture, and was probably the best part overall. We also shared the pork belly fries, but adding a nacho cheese sauce on it kinda throws it off, in our opinion. Staff was courteous though, and the ramen affordable considering how much eating out has skyrocketed.
