We ate at the bar. The restaurant and bar are under new ownership. The restaurant opens for dinner 11/24/19. The bar was great, good cocktails and a really good burger.
Cozy, Art Deco style bar. Tasty beers and cocktails. Their lunch menu is quick and will leave you satisfied.
The ambiance is pure vintage LA, and the food was outstanding. The quality of ingredients use in the Cob salad was terrific!
Steven was the bartender when I was there, and he was friendly, made super good drinks, introduced me to the gin gimlet and it was so good. Very talkative and will be coming back
Stumbled on reviews, not realizing it was at the train station. Ended up one of the high lights of our trip.
Good was amazing and the service was equally awesome. Highly recommended.
The food was outstanding! The service was great, the ambience was awesome. I was really impressed because of the location but it was very pleasant all around. I'll be back very soon.
Been here a few times on business and it's always good food and service at Union station. Would go back never crowded at lunch and decent prices. Sit on the outside and you can enjoy the characters in there too!
HUGE FAN. Traxx feel a bit like a European street cafe except its inside Union Station on Alameda street. Dishes are generally top-notch, Traxx feature a fairly short menu but its well done. the restaurant is "chef based" so you may want to ask for the specifics of things like todays special, as its often something the chef is playing with and its not always YOUR expectations matches the chef's but thats a good thing. Deserts again, a little light, notably seems to always be out of a working espresso maker, but everything said and done, its a solid standby restaurant that I always count on to deliver a great experience. 5 stars from me.
TRAXX BAR ... Across from the restaurant in Union Station. Pleasant bar atmosphere. Kudos to Joseph the bartender! Personable and attentive to all. He introduced us to Monkey 47, a delicious gin. When you go, if Joseph is there, definitely order and give it a try.
The blackened alligator bite with a Cesar salad and a few martini were fantastic after our swamp tour. Place is friendly and customer focus....truly enjoyed our very short time in New Orleans french quarter.
Not often that I can walk into a place that plays suicidal tendencies and the adolescents, service was cool, nice and quick spot to get a beer in between trips
So happy to see that TRAXX has opened back up! Have always loved the location and feel. Our server said it’s been open since Nov & they’re getting ready to expand the menu more soon. Under new ownership. Had the crab cake (delish) and split the chicken panini sandwich with lemon garlic fries. Was good for a panini-could have used some herbed mayo to brighten it up a bit. Fries would have been even better with some garlic or spicy aioli, but overall very good and will be returning.
Love this place! Been coming here and introducing my friends to this bar for a couple of years. Only the friendliest people and the staff take care of you like they are the owner. The owner’s name is Chris. He’s lovely and always smiling. Happy hour is great and I always stop in when using Amtrak (the bar and restaurant is in Union Station).
Great atmosphere. Train was delayed for two hours, had great drinks and a great chicken panini! Couldn’t have asked for more. The bartender and security guard took great care of us tonight! Thank you!
I've been to union station a million times and never knew this place was here! It's like platform 9&3/4 only the worthy can see it. Can't say a damn thing about food but def good place for a drink while u wait for your train or if in the area. Bartenders are the best! If you like some spice in yo life get the ghost pepper margarita. Delish!
I had the tomato soup grilled cheese and it was DELICIOUS! And anawesome cucumber Gimlet. Great and friendly service.
Was my first experience at Traxx. Great service. I ordered the New York strip steak. Was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Best steak I’ve had in a long time. Food was comparable to a high end steak house but their prices were very reasonable. If you find yourself near Union Staton around lunch or dinner time, do yourself a favor and check this place out.
For the holidays, this is the perfect place to treat your friends to a luncheon they will never forget. The food is amazing, and is paired with the best wines and spirits available in California. What could I say about the atmosphere? It's a dream of Old Los Angeles, when trains were classy, and ladies wore hats. Men always wore suits and opened doors for their dates, and martini's were chilled by five. It's like being in a classic movie.
One of my top ten old fashion. Peter did an amazing job on the cocktail. Service was amazing. The prosciutto toast was amazing.
I will forever be indebted to Chef Tara Thomas and her wonderful crew and waiters. She made my father's 90th birthday more than a memorable occasion - she made it an event for him, me and my 16 cousins, siblings and friends. She sat down with me over a glass of wine and planned an exceptional menu that fit my budget - and then delivered even more. The restaurant was lovely; it was during the holiday season. The sea bass and pork loin menu was probably more variety than i should have asked for, but she accommodated and the dishes and accompaniments pleased the local crowd AND my Bay Area family used to high-end restaurants! I appreciate the wine pourings, the cake cutting and to top it off, a gift book to my father about Union Station - since he was at the opening of the station. Chef Tara is an LA treasure and I will (finally, i know, i've been busy) post this revue far and wide and be back for the ever-changing menu, special dinners and the exceptionally exquisite atmosphere. Thank you, Chef Tara and Traxx!
The food was amazing as was the service. It was wonderful to sit in the lobby of this classic station and feel the history of Union Station. We ordered the Ahi Bowl and the Chicken Cutlet and both were great.
Traxx: Great Salad, Great People-Watching, in the Heart of Union Station Traxx is one of those rare finds that makes you feel like you’re in on a secret. Nestled right inside LA’s Union Station, it’s the kind of place where the chaos of travel melts away the second you sit down and glance at the menu. Let’s get right to it: the Cobb salad is fantastic. Fresh, crisp, generous, and perfectly composed—like the kitchen actually cares (because they do). It’s the kind of Cobb that ruins you for all the others. Add a cold drink and you’ve got yourself a little oasis in the middle of the station. The service is always friendly and efficient, whether you’re killing time before a train or just wandered in from the street. No pretension here—just solid hospitality and people who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. But the real kicker? The atmosphere. You’re sitting in one of LA’s most iconic spaces, surrounded by travelers, locals, and characters of every kind. It’s prime-time people-watching. One table over, someone’s in a deep meaningful discussion about a screenplay. Across the room, a backpacker’s staring at the departure board like it holds the meaning of life. You can’t make this stuff up—it just happens around you while you eat. Traxx is a little slice of calm in the middle of motion. Whether you’re catching a train or just catching your breath, it’s absolutely worth a stop.
Nice little restaurant! You don’t expect great food at a train station, but the Traxx restaurant is a pleasant surprise. We had the ahi tuna bowl and the chicken sandwich.
Omg the bruschetta is delicious! The atmosphere is sophisticated. I love the background music that's played. Very jazzy and relaxing. Fits perfect with art deco design.
Randy is the bomb always I love his style he treats everyone nice thank you Randy
Stopped in before boarding the train. Service is excellent and the food is very excellent. Had the Chicken Focaggia sandwich. Very nice. Music was mellow and relaxing.
Love this spot, it’s a fantastic bar at Union Station. I’ve Been coming for a couple years now. If you are on your way to a Dodger game and taking the Free Shuttle or just passing through. They have some of the friendliest, and talented bartenders, Lexi, Peter and Anthony are my favorites. It’s Always a great experience and never disappoints! Also a must try is the Breakfast sandwich, killer!
This was the perfect place to have dinner while we were waiting for our train. The location inside Union Station is iconic. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the chicken panini. It was perfectly done, the chicken was tender, and the flavoring was very savory. The side salad with a light dressing was the perfect fresh accompaniment. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for a nice restaurant with most items well below $20. We will be back!
What a classy and elegant place this is I absolutely just had to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere of the union station and Los Angeles But I was craving a bowl of soup and they had just the answer for me, the pozole Suffering a little from congestion, the freshly sliced onions crunched in my mouth. It needs to buy the chicken is so flavorful and the tortilla is perfect. I wish I had a bigger bowl, but then I never would’ve loved. The staff is incredibly professional. I really like them a lot I’ll be back. Hopefully, I’ll try the tomato bisque.
Wasn’t sure what to expect from the lone sit down restaurant and bar inside Union Station but this place well exceeded my expectations. Food tasted high quality and service was great!
Traxx Restaurant was a favorite hangout when I was working downtown LA, and before I took the Amtrak train home in the evening. I came back and nothing changed - great service, fun bartenders, and great choice of drinks. Had the Steak Sandwich and it was great. If you are at Union Station, stop in.
Great meal and excellent service. I love it.
Lunch here today, in the beautifully restored LA Union Station. Food is great, staff are friendly and accommodating, and is a good value. 😃 Beer was great also!
We killed a little time here. Waiting for our train to depart. At this time, the restaurant was closed, but we were looking for drinks anyway. They have a nice selection of beers on tap, and the bartender/service was great. He really was extra friendly and on top of his game. Love the art deco decor as well. Cool spot.

The Brussel sprouts are delicious! I usually go if I miss my Metrolink train. Place is lively and busy when there's a home Dodger game. Solid drinks and stiff drinks

There’s a bad review about this place saying there was an inspection issue and cockroaches, and that they received a C rating. However, I went there myself and saw that they currently have an A rating posted. I also didn’t see any proof that they ever received a C. My experience was clean and positive.
listen up !! im a real person and this IS A REAL REVIEW. I live in the mozaic apartments next door. I went in on a cold LA night and ordered the grilled cheese and tom soup and when i tell you that thang wassss soooooo good and flavorful that it makes me want to go back and order again today !!! Also, the punk rock people at the bar are not the most, nicest ,friendliest, and didn't make someone like me feel welcomed. Im black by the way.
Great place! I appreciate having some nice dining options and the bar was great too - fun people working there!! Super glad I stopped in here!
Grilled cheese with tomato soup was HEAVEN! And our waitress was so friendly! Had a delightful time on an unexpected wait at the train station!
John Knauf is the best bartender in the world. Despite being very fat. He’s a big cuddly teddy bear and I love him.
Traxx embodies the urban ambience in a way that is only possible through proximity to public transit. While the food and service were certainly excellent (exceptional is a high bar), the atmosphere inseparable from location is what makes the difference between being able to recommend a visit while in the neighborhood versus recommending going out of one’s way to pay a visit to Traxx. The latter of these is solidly true.
Dining at Traxx Restaurant inside Union Station is truly one of Los Angeles’ hidden gems. From the moment you walk in, you feel the perfect blend of historic charm and modern California sophistication. The soaring ceilings, warm lighting, and iconic Art Deco architecture create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. The food is exceptional — thoughtfully curated, beautifully plated, and full of fresh, vibrant flavors. Every dish tastes intentional and refined without being pretentious. Whether you’re stopping in for brunch before catching a train or enjoying a relaxed dinner downtown, the menu delivers across the board. The service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they take pride in creating an experience, not just serving a meal. Traxx is more than a restaurant — it’s an experience. It captures the romance of old Los Angeles while offering contemporary cuisine that absolutely stands up to the city’s best. I’ll definitely be back.

This was our first trip to Traxx was was pleasantly surprised with quality and taste of the food. My salmon was prepared perfectly in a generous portion and the service was outstanding. Would recommend Traxx for any occasion!!!
beware of going in large groups because you may sit outside in the occassionally busy train station. very large portions of creative food. the place to go for an unusual dining experience with consistent food.
Great service. Validated parking at Station entrance. Food good/average. Average price for the area. Fun people watching.
Beautiful and historic location, 5 stars. Service also 5 stars. The birria tacos and French fries were great, but for the love of all things holy DO NOT order the hummus!!! It tasted like they forgot the olive oil and tahini and all that was left was a unemulsified watery mixture of garbanzo beans, garlic and possibly lemon.
It has been years since I've visited Traxx Bar. I no longer work downtown Los Angeles...sigh. Sitting at the bar I reminisced about the various times in the past being here for after work drinks, get-togethers with friends, and also attending a few poetry readings in the bar...it's a great spot in a historic location!! Los Angeles Union station! My family has history in the vicinity as my grandfather was a business owner close by in the 1920s. I was so glad to find it open before an event at Union Station! The brussel sprouts are fantastic! The basil mint smash was tasty too! I look forward to my next times here! Cuisine suggestions: a few more vegan dishes as well as no cheese--or vegan cheese--dishes for those of us with lactose issues. Thanks! 💙
Excellent place to while away the layover time on Amtrak. Locals and traveller's enjoy each other's company. 5 minute walk to Chinatown. Highly recommend. Great staff. No
Very conveniently situated in the handsomely decorated Union Station. Traxx is small and elegant with good selection of dishes well prepared and presented. Service was friendly and pleasant. Prices are high but appropriate for the food, service and setting. My favorite was the quinoa salad.
Went to this restaurant before taking my train up north…🚂The staff were cool.🙋♀️ I ended up getting Calamari🦑, Birria Tacos🐐, & the Steak Sandwich (To-Go)🐄. Food was good😋, it seems they serve more like appetizers instead of full dishes🙃. That’s my only complaint, portion size really🤏. Other than that everything was cool 👍 & I’d definitely recommend if you’re sitting at Union waiting for a train or bus…🙇♂️🚌🚂
There is something nostalgic about anything in Union station and Traxx is no exception. Very casual eatery with jazz music playing in the background creating a very smooth vibe for lunch. The Cobb salad is very good. Not drowned in dressing so you taste the medley of flavors. Service is good not over the top attention but you are not forgotten. The Traxx burger is also a tasty treat.

Herd to believe but this is a very good restaurant at a train station. Most every time heading home on the train first have a meal at Traxx.

Went to the bar across the way from the restaurant. Slow service on a slow Wednesday night, but the bartender does a good job of striking conversation with everyone. Relaxed vibe to catch a drink while waiting for your mid-week train.
Alas it is I . One of the chefs at traxx. I used to make cesar salads here in the station closest to the glass wall and near the coy pond outside. It was very clean and efficient in a productive manner. And the quinoa-edamame salads were great.
Good venue, some of food is good, service rarely matches the prices as upscale restaurant. Lounge is worse. Was once a great place to go, dine, relax and enjoy. Not so much anymore.
While the food was good service was shaky. Our party of 6 were the only people in the restaurant after 8 p.m. This was a destination restaurant for a while, unfortunately that is no longer the case. This space deserves better. Parking in the open lot in front of Union Station is outragely overpriced and the restaurant no longer validates. If they want customers after 6 p.m. they should fix that.
Good food and attentive wait staff. It can take a while to get noticed when you want to be seated. It's in the middle of Union Station, and can be noisy. I stop here to take a breath when changing Metro trains.
I really expected more. The food is good but they seem to want you to eat and get out quickly. Since it is at the train station there are a lot of characters outside. If you happen to go on a day there is a function next door, be prepared as it get very noisy.
I ordered a ghost pepper margarita, kale ceasar, and Mac & cheese. The drink was great, the food was pretty good and the ambience was impressive especially given the location inside union station. The bartender at the time I ordered refused to show me an itemized receipt when I pointed out that the 35 dollars total plus tax didn’t add up to the 47 he was telling me I owed. I figured he would have mentioned gratuity was included if it was. Overall it’s a 4 star spot with a two star bartender who complains about a failed metal music career. I would have tipped well anyway but the disingenuouity left a bad taste in my mouth.
Biggest reason to eat here is for convenience and atmosphere. Located in Union Station, the view in their indoor patio is stunning. They don’t really offer the widest range of food or something that you can really order in a pinch unless you’re down for a salad.
Went to Traxx Bar across from the restaurant. Bartender was very nice. Decent selection of spirits. No hot water to make warm drinks like a Hot Toddy, they have to call over to the restaurant for that. Nice bar to hang out and wait for your train. Didn't go to the restaurant this time, but we enjoyed it last time. Better than hanging out at the Starbucks.
The bar keeper kind of ignored my aunt well entertaining his pals

Liked to have supper here before going back home, but they have been closing much earlier than their closing time on their hours. They let people go to the bar across the hallway but it doesn't feel as welcome. If this new hours need to stay, I'll just stick to pretzels or subway sandwich.

We ate around 4 and we were the only ones there... very suspicious. After being quickly seated, the waiters hounded us and really bugged us. Then the food came and it wasn't cooked well. Although the setting and the mood were fantastic, service, the food and the price were not worth it.
Ordered food to go because it took eight minutes just to order with one couple in front of us. Figured that the food would be slow too. The food came to our table and while we were checking the contents security came over and said, no outside food. You have to leave.” Got to our train and saw they messed up our order. Not a good experience at all. We should have gone somewhere else.
I am actually here right now and the food is delicious but the service could be better. I am being treated as if I can't afford my meal and wine. I have to keep asking for things and flagging the waiter or waitress for things. No one has checked to see if I needed anything. I'm amazed because everyone else seems to have excellent service. Usually I leave a cash tip. Today my tip is: Don't judge a book by it's cover and treat everyone the same. You don't know who you are entertaining. Now for desert. Let's see how it goes.
Dined with a reservation on Friday night. (8/7/2015) There were only 3 or 4 tables (including us). The server seemed nice, but not very attentive. I have to say, the server was Hostess and Server, but while taking our order, don't leave in the middle of taking it, just to seat one person. She could have said "Just a moment". She left in the middle of taking our order and helped this other person and apparently the one and only person had questions. She came back to finish taking our orders. Like I said she was hostess and server. We were with a party of 8. She should have put in our order first. She never came back to check on us. She gave us the meals and that was it. I can see if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't. It took way too long. I have eaten here before during lunch and it was a lot better. The pork chop was too dry.
This place is drifting on its inflated reputation and prestigious location. Their food may look good on the menu but it really isn't. The most telling fact is that their bar, a separate facility across the hall doesn't even know how to make a Harvey wall banger, and their desert chef burned himself while crisping a cremeburele. It sorry to see what at one time was probably a great place to eat fall so low.
So I went there yesterday and when I first walked in the bar to do I was greeted by the bartender and he seemed like he was being genuine but it all went down hill from there I was trying to figure out what I wanted to order and I had ordered two drinks the first one I ordered was great the second one I basically had to sit there and wait 15 to 35 minutes and he glanced at me quite often but he checking on everyone else didn’t bother to ask me if I wanted a second drink or anything else I try to be friendly and at least hold a conversation but he seems like he was not interested and would rather talk to his regulars and actually talk to A new potential customer Overall the drinks weren’t bad but I don’t think I’ll be going back
My review on their page.... The owner Tara THOMAS promised to have her venue available for my friends HeartAnniversary. 10 Years ago Jihan Coleman had a Heart ❤️ Transplant. In the beginning Tara was excited! Offered the MOON AND THE STARS... but when the Owner mentioned it to her PEOPLE it was a NO GO!! #HeartingWhileBlack when her people found out that 30 BLACK folks would be coming to @Traxx Union Station they said NO WAY! The owner has not responded to my friend since she made the offer. #ShameonTaraThomas
I ordered the steak it was a rip off, half the plate was fries, and there was maybe 6oz of steak there drenched in a sauce. it took nearly 40minutes to receive it. Do not recommend.
My party of 8 got seated promptly. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot about us. He neglected to ask any of us if we'd like anything to drink while we're all seated conversing. As well, after making the reservation 2 weeks in advance and making a special request for a friend who only drinks a specific beer, they ran out of it on that day and didn't have it in stock. And the person I made the reservation with "promised" they'll stock up. In short, after being ignored for 12+ minutes, we left and went to The Palm in downtown LA instead. The irony was the restaurant wasn't even full.
I witnessed a lady being harassed for bringing her service dog last Thursday, January 12th. The owner was rude and malicious towards the lady customer. Go to La Noche Buena instead where people with disabilities are treated with respect.
Disgusting. Just failed health inspection and now has a C rating. There are roaches.
I've never left a review. But... The server looked like he hated his job. He charged me incorrectly. When questioned why I was overcharged, he appeared unbothered. He seemed to not care for trying to overcharge. Not sure if that's the Traxx way of doing things. Hope his day is going well.
Came here for a Business meeting, I had a water from Starbucks and as soon as I sat down I was harassed a out my water, when my colleague arrived, we had our meeting and I was planning to order a drink, while I was transferring money, I was harassed yet again, said if I wasn't going to order, I had to leave. There was no proper greeting when I first arrived. Very snoody and snobbish. I wouldn't recommend this place. Very rude.
I had lunch here during train fest days Sept 2023. We were told they were short staffed and only seating inside. We ordered our food. 3 salads with dressing on the side. And a burger. And sat back knowing we’d have a longer wait, but had 2 hours before train trip. Waited for our drinks about 15 minutes, 3 came and the waiter forgot the beer. Waiters were running across to the other restaurant for drinks. FYI wine can be poured by servers. He did bring it 10 minutes later. Waited about 30-40 minutes for the food, Which we had assumed would take longer . Short staffed. Only 2 waiters and kitchen staff. Food came out. And only 3 meals were served. My salad was not delivered. Waiter put plates down and left. Mumbled something. Assumed he was going back for it. But as he came back by had food for another table. At that point he started speed walking past our table. No eye contact. We had to yell at him to stop. Asked about my salad. And he was annoyed to be bothered and said it should be up soon. At this point it was clear that he had not talked to the kitchen staff about the overlooked order. Normal kitchens would have prioritized a table Served and missing a guest dish. I believe now he thought it would magically just appear. Meanwhile he walked by us and serves another table a Cobb salad. Clock was ticking now for catching our train. Ran out to see if the other restaurant was open for to go. Nope kitchen just closed. Went back told waiter to remove salad from bill. In addition he was asked again by 2 others to remove it. He did not remove it. I left and went to find snacks at market. At that point apparently my people asked for a manager… and a Manager appeared from the office and agreed to remove the salad. This manager also claimed to have no idea how busy it was!! This manager could have been helping servers and chose to hide in the office on a very busy day. My group said they weren’t paying for the bill. Food wasn’t great. Dressing was not on the side , so lettuce was wilted. They did come to an agreement on an amount, paid and left. This business is very poorly managed, managers need to step up when they are short staffed due to their poor planning. Do your basic job. The other waiter btw was running around and taking good care of his tables. Hope he had a great tip day. Our waiter needs to learn empathy and basic service protocols. The manager needs to get out of the office and be aware of events at the train station and staff accordingly. Reservations were closed that day. Walk in only was the option. Bummer, since this should be a great place for travelers.
Overpriced and unpleasant environment. For a place that's charging this much for a drink and food, I'd expect to be treated nicely and with respect. The service is sub par as I had to ask several times for someone to attend me. Maybe this place needs to stop taking itself so seriously as most people are just trying to get a quick drink before catching the train. This isn't a swanky place and maybe the owners need to realize who the clientele is before trying to charge almost $10 for a beer. I'd rather just drink on the Amtrak.
On 9-9-25 I ordered a Traxx burger my order was complete and a waitress walked right pass me and out the door with my order when I saw this i told Mr.R who took my order that I didn't want it because it was walked outside of the restaurant doors in a to go box and wasn't covered or closed. Mr. R at first refused to have order remade and wanted to give me a refund which I refused to accept and told him I wanted my order made again to which his reply was ( that's ridiculous because we always walk food out the uncovered to the bar restaurant in which i told that would be acceptable as well, he started talking to his co-workers in Spanish I told him that was rude and unprofessional and he continued to talk in Spanish I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager on duty. My order was remade and it was made wrong. I eat here at least twice a month and never had this experience. Today 9-10-25 I called asking for a manager and was told no manager was on duty and no-body knows when the manager will be
One of the bartenders decided to write their own tip on my receipt for a dollar more than I authorized/signed for when I was there last night. All I got was a soda. It's a bar, so they probably get by with adding tips to receipts because people are intoxicated and don't pay attention, but I wouldn't recommend this establishment. Makes union station look bad.
The restaurant is closed on Sunday so don’t plan on traveling then. The bar is a dump.
Ordered takeout before my train. Got the Chicken Cutlets and ordered double meat. First cutlet was absolutely amazing but the second was literally so overcooked that I couldn’t bear chewing it for as long as I had. I paid $8 extra for this piece of chicken. I honestly can’t believe they sent it out like that.
I usually frequent this place. Same thing all the time. The shrimp fettuccine and ask them to pair it with a wine for me. Last night 12/06/2024 I went inside with my grandbabies. I always go alone. The waiter took one look at me and my grandkids and I already knew. I should have walked out but I didn’t. We sat down and I ordered my usual. I had to ask about the kids because as I said I always go alone. They are toddlers so they don’t eat much. I ordered chicken bites and fries for them to share. From that moment forward the service was horrible. My food came full of liquid as if I don’t know what my food should at least look like. It was swimming in broth or something. I’m not sure. So I asked for something else because whomever made it either didn’t know how to or it was because of the judgement we were receiving. I was not dressed because it was last minute and I took the train into Union station. I told him that I would not have time to eat before I left. I asked for the check. I also asked him not to run my card until I finished unlocking it. He ran it immediately 4 times as I was trying to. So the bank locked it up. I called the bank in front him since he was trying to embarrass me as if I couldn’t pay. Then I did put my phone on speaker so everyone can hear since he didn’t mind his words. It was confirmed that I indeed had the money and he ran my card one behind the other and they locked. However when I received the to go bag I did not check it. I was given a bag of trash. Even though I paid for what I ordered and missed my train back home because of what he was doing. Then called me rude because I said hey I missed my train. I will take that second glass of wine since you never brought to me to begin with. He refused to serve me and said that I was rude. After paying getting a bag of trash for a meal that he gave me. Made since about his behavior after handing me the bag. I was out done. The way they treat service members is unreal. Unless it’s only minorities that he does it to. Never the less. I will not be going back and definitely won’t subject another child to that type of behavior. Used it as a learning experience in all aspects from racism to food handling as well as behavior. It’s my job to read people. I wanted to be so wrong about him. Was overly right. Never again though. I should have took photos but I was too upset and outdone.
Traxx — I’m not even sure where to begin. Unfortunately, the most concerning issue was what appeared to be a roach problem. Seeing roaches out in the open was extremely unsettling and unacceptable for any establishment. After a long day of travel, we were hoping for a decent meal, but the food tasted far from fresh — more like it had been sitting for days. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unsanitary. As someone who used to be a loyal customer, it’s really disappointing to see how much this place has gone downhill. I truly hope management takes steps to address these issues, but based on this visit, I would not recommend stopping here.
